Abstract

Etnomatematika sangat penting untuk memberikan pembelajaran kontekstual. Riset ini bertujuan menggali dan mendeskripsikan etnomatematika Historical Building di Taman Mayura dan mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa sekolah dasar. Desain riset ini menggabungkan penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif melalui metode observasi, deep interview, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Milles dan Huberman dan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil riset menyatakan, terdapat 6 bangunan bersejarah di Taman Mayura, yakni bale kambang, kolam (telaga), bale pererenan, bale lodji, pura jagat nata, dan pura kelepug. Berbagai jenis bangun datar ditemukan pada struktur bangunan tersebut, seperti bangun datar segiempat, segitiga dan segibanyak. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis, dibuktikan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan implementasi etnomatematika Historical Building “Taman Mayura” terhadap perkembangan kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas 4 SDN 38 Cakranegara. Ethnomathematics is essential for providing contextual learning. Therefore, this research aims to explore and describe the ethnomathematics of the Historical Building in Mayura Park and determine the influence of ethnomathematics on the numeracy ability of elementary school students. This research design combines qualitative research and quantitative research through observation methods, deep interviews, documentation, and tests. The data analysis technique was carried out based on the opinions of Milles and Huberman and the paired sample t-test. The results of the research stated that there are 6 historical buildings in Mayura Park, namely bale kambang, pond (lake), bale pererenan, bale lodji, jagat nata temple, and kelepug temple. Various types of flat buildings are found in these building structures, such as quadrilateral, triangular and polygonal flat buildings. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it is proven that there is a significant influence of the ethnomathematics implementation of the Historical Building "Taman Mayura" on the development of numeracy skills of grade 4 students of SDN 38 Cakranegara.

Abstract

Minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran di sekolah, terutama pada mata pelajaran Matematika, menjadi salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan proses pembelajaran kurang efektif dan menyenangkan. Materi operasi hitung seharusnya didukung dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran Ular Tangga Raksasa pada materi operasi hitung kelas IV di SDN 32 Ampenan berdasarkan aspek validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RnD) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini meliputi ahli materi, ahli media, siswa, dan guru kelas IV SDN 32 Ampenan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media ini termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid, dengan skor persentase 90% dari ahli materi dan 95,38% dari ahli media. Uji kepraktisan yang dilakukan oleh guru dan siswa juga memperoleh kategori sangat praktis, masing-masing dengan skor 88,57% dan 87,22%. Hasil uji efektivitas berdasarkan pretest dan posttest menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Uji hipotesis memperoleh nilai -Thitung > -Ttabel (yaitu -10,659 > -1,74588), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Ular Tangga Raksasa efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi operasi hitung.

Abstract

Kemampuan numerasi merupakan kompetensi esensial yang harus dimiliki siswa agar mampu merumuskan dan menyelesaikan persoalan-persoalan kehidupan nyata yang berkaitan dengan aspek perhitungan matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk menguji pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning (PBL) berbasis kearifan lokal dulang gawe sasak terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika di kelas IV di SDN 5 Ampenan. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen group design dengan pendekatan non equivalent control group design yang melibatkan 54 siswa yang terdiri atas siswa kelas IV-A dan IV-B. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen sebesar 50,56, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol adalah 50,37. Selain itu, pada hasil posttest diperoleh nilai rata-rata  pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 75,74, sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 69,81. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis, diperoleh nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,018, yang lebih kecil dari batas signifikansi 0,05, serta nilai t hitung sebesar 2,449, yang melebihi t tabel sebesar 2,006. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari implementasi model pembelajaran PBL berbasis kearifan lokal dulang gawe suku sasak terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas IV SDN 5 Ampenan.

Abstract

The integration of culture in education, known as ethnopedagogy, enhances learning effectiveness. However, limited research exists on this topic.  Therefore, this study aims to explore ethnopedagogical content in gendang beleq art, serving as a reference for integrating culture and local wisdom in Indonesia. This research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing a literature study method to gather information from various relevant sources like articles, proceedings, and books. The data was analyzed using a qualitative content analysis approach with thematic analysis. Findings reveal that gendang beleq art contains various ethnopedagogical contents. These include ethnomathematics concepts like geometric shapes (such as half a needle, beam, and tube) and flat shapes (triangles, pentagons, and circles). Additionally, the art form incorporates ethnoscience concepts related to sound, as well as concepts of motion, locomotors in floor formations or patterns, and dance during drum beleq performances. Lastly, it encompasses the content of the Pancasila concept, emphasizing integration, unity, justice, and equality. These findings highlight gendang beleq art as a valuable reference for cultural products and local wisdom, with the potential to enhance ethnopedagogical-based learning implementation.Keywords: Ethnopedagogy, Gendang beleq, Sasak ethnic, Traditional art

Abstract

This study aims to identify elementary school students' understanding of mathematical concepts based on Neil D. Fleming's learning style theory (VARK), which consists of four main categories: Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, and Kinesthetic. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this research, with the subjects being sixth-grade students of SDN 14 Cakranegara. The research instruments included learning style questionnaires, mathematical concept comprehension tests, and interviews. Data analysis was conducted in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the majority of students had a kinesthetic learning style, indicating a preference for learning through physical activities and hands-on practice. Students with a kinesthetic learning style demonstrated a better understanding of mathematical concepts when learning methods involved physical activities. Additionally, several students exhibited a combination of visual, auditory, and read/write learning styles, reflecting variations in how they understand and apply mathematical concepts. Based on these findings, the study recommends that teachers implement varied teaching methods tailored to students' learning styles to enhance their understanding of mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun media pembelajaran berbasis game puzzle sebagai alternatif pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada Kamis, 30 Mei 2024 di SDN Bonder, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 15 orang yang terdiri dari 12 guru, 1 kepala sekolah, dan 2 perwakilan komite sekolah. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup pengenalan media pembelajaran, konsep media berbasis puzzle, praktik pembuatan, serta simulasi penggunaan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 75% peserta memahami materi yang diberikan dan mampu menerapkan pembuatan puzzle sebagai media pembelajaran. Respons peserta, termasuk guru dan kepala sekolah, menunjukkan antusiasme dan apresiasi terhadap kegiatan ini. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini dinilai berhasil dan memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Mengingat hasil yang positif ini, disarankan agar pelatihan serupa dapat diperluas ke sekolah-sekolah lain guna mendukung inovasi dalam pembelajaran di kelas serta mendorong penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif di berbagai lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Everyone Is A Teacher Here terhadap tingkat percaya diri siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment bentuk pretest-posttest control group. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN 11 Praya, Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan angket. analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas data, uji homogenitas, uji deskriptif, uji hipotesis dan uji persentase perubahan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran Everyone Is A Teacher Here memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepercayaan diri siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,004 yang artinya lebih kecil dari 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Disamping itu, strategi ini juga dapat mendorong siswa untuk lebih percaya diri dalam mengungkapkan pendapat, berinteraksi dengan teman sekelas, serta mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara di depan umum. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi tersebut efektif dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa kelas III pada mata pelajaran matematika.

Abstract

The mathematical representation skills of fifth grade students at SDN 1 Sukarara are still relatively low which is caused by several factors such as the lack of learning facilities, the use of media and leaning methods that are less diverse. This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share model on the mathematical representation skills of fifth grade students at SDN 1 Sukarara in the 2024/2025 academic year. The type of research used in this study is a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The data collection techniques used were observation and essay tests. The data analysis method used is the non-parametric test with the Mann Whitney U test. The Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000 < 0.05, then Ha can be accepted and H0 is rejected, which means there is a difference in mathematical representation ability between the experimental class and the control class. In addition, the N-Gain test was also carried out with the acquisition of an average value in the experimental class of 0.787262 or 79%, which means that the Think Pair Share learning model on the mathematical representation skills of fifth grade students at SDN 1 Sukarara is effective and categorized as high.

Abstract

This qualitative research aims to describe students’ misconceptions in linear programming reviewed from written mathematical communication ability. Four students from grade X SMKN 1 Purwasari were selected as research subjects by purposive sampling. Data collected through observation and essay tests. The results showed that the sample students experienced misconceptions in the low and high categories. Misconception with high categories lies in the indicators of changing mathematical ideas into mathematical models (75%), represent mathematical ideas into images or vice versa (100%), and mathematical problem-solving procedures (75%), while misconception with low categories is found in indicators choose the right concept in solving mathematical problems (25%). Based on this result, further treatment is needed to overcome students’ misconceptions before students continue learning to a higher stage.

Abstract

The low learning achievement of students is caused byself-efficacyand learning motivation, which is one of the psychological factors that influences learning achievement and acts as a motivator to achieve good performance. This research aims to see the relationship between self-efficacy and learning motivation and the learning achievement of class IV students at SDN Cluster III, Labuhan Haji sub-district. The type of research used is correlational research. The population of this research is all class IV students at SDN Gugus II, Labuhan Haji District and the research sample is 60 students. Research data was collected through questionnaires to measure students' self-efficacy and learning motivation and documentation for student achievement. Data analysis techniques use prerequisite tests (linearity test data normality) and hypothesis testingproduct moment correlationat a significance level of 5%. The research results show that 1) There is a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and learning achievement, where the value obtained is rcount (3.715) > rtable (0.254) with a sig.(2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. 2)The existence of a positive relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement is proven by the value of rcount (4.647)> rtable (0.254) with sig.(2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. 3) There is a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and learning motivation and learning achievementvalue is obtained sig.(F.change) of 0.000 < 0.05, is at a strong relationship level. The magnitude of the contribution or contribution of self-efficacy and learning motivation to learning achievement was 52.6% with 47.4% influenced by other factors not included in the research.
