Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of incentives, work environment, and career development on job satisfaction through self-efficacy among healthcare personnel in the Nusantara Sehat Program in the Riau Islands Province. The research employed a quantitative approach, surveying 116 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring respondents' perceptions of incentives, work environment, career development, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression and path analysis to assess the mediating role of self-efficacy. The results showed that incentives, work environment, career development, and self-efficacy significantly affect job satisfaction. In addition, the work environment and career development affect self-efficacy, while perception is insignificant. Other findings showed that self-efficacy was shown to act as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between the work environment and job satisfaction. At the same time, incentives and self-development had no effect. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that increasing incentives, conducive working conditions, and clear career development opportunities can increase job satisfaction in health workers through increasing self-efficacy.

Quantitative data were collected using a questionnaire, and qualitative data were obtained by direct interviews with accountants. Results: From the research results it was found that of the six variables, the one that had the highest influence on performance was organizational commitment (t-value 6.321) and the lowest was spiritual motivation (t-value 2.507). Furthermore, spiritual motivation has the highest influence (t-value 21.893), and integrity has the lowest (t-value 3.467) on organizational commitment. Next, the position of organizational commitment plays the largest role in improving accountant performance and the smallest role is the spiritual motivation variable; the rest is influenced by other variables that were not examined in this study. Conclusions: The influence of dependent variables on independent variables is strong, as is the influence of dependent variables on intervening variables. In this research, all variables have a strong influence on the dependent and intervening variables. Limitations: The dependent variables of this study have not fully provided a definite role for organizational commitment on accountant performance; therefore, it is necessary to add other variables to clarify it.    Contribution: This study serves as a reference for developing an individual behavior model regarding individual characteristics, individual mechanisms, and what individuals produce in public accounting organizations that continue to experience changes in information technology from time to time in the context of reform for progress based on performance as an outcome.

Abstract

Nursing services are very important and goal-oriented services that focus on the implementation of nursing care. Improving the quality of nursing services is a challenge for nurses because nurses are professional staff who have the longest contact with patients, in contrast to medical services and other health services which only require a relatively short time to provide health services to their clients. This research is used for explanatory purposes ( explanatory or confirmatory), namely explaining the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. This research is correlational in nature, namely research that attempts to see whether two or more variables are related and what direction the relationship takes. Based on the results of the research data analysis above, a conclusion can be made in this research as follows: Leadership Style has a significant influence on Self-Efficacy. Career level does not have a significant influence on Self-Efficacy. Work Environment has a significant influence on Self-Efficacy. Leadership Style has a significant influence on Job Satisfaction. Career Path has a significant influence on Job Satisfaction. Work Environment has a significant influence on Job Satisfaction. Self-Efficacy has a significant influence on Job Satisfaction. Leadership Style through Self-Efficacy does not have a significant influence on Job Satisfaction through the path coefficient results. Career Path through Self-Efficacy does not have a significant influence on Job Satisfaction through the path coefficient results. Work Environment through Self-Efficacy has a significant influence on Job Satisfaction through the results of the path coefficient.

Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes the influence of work-life balance, work environment, and workload on performance through job satisfaction as a mediating variable on employees of the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of the Riau Islands Province. Methodology/approach: A quantitative method was used with SEM-PLS analysis on data collected from 120 employees of the General Bureau, Riau Islands Provincial Secretariat. Results: Using primary data from 120 employees, this study found that work-life balance and workload have a significant influence on performance through the results of the path coefficient, meaning that the job satisfaction variable can mediate the influence of endogenous variables of work-life balance and workload on the performance variable. This can be explained by the fact that with the mediation of job satisfaction, when there is an increase in work-life balance and workload, employee performance will increase. Conclusions: Improving job satisfaction enhances performance, especially when managing workload and work-life balance. Limitations: The study is limited to one public institution and excludes factors such as leadership and compensation. Contribution: This study highlights the importance of job satisfaction as a mediator to improve employee performance in the public sector.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of coordination, competence and leadership style on employee performance of Regional Government Organizations in Bintan Regency and examines the role of organizational commitment as an intervening variable. Based on SAKIP evaluation data issued by the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform, the performance of Bintan Regency Government is still considered suboptimal, thus requiring improvement and commitment in performance management. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to 180 employees of Bintan Regency. The research findings reveal that improvement in competence and leadership style has a significant direct influence on employee performance and organizational commitment. Conversely, coordination is proven to have an insignificant influence on performance and organizational commitment, furthermore the indirect influence of coordination on performance mediated by organizational commitment is also insignificant. The proposed recommendations are to improve employee coordination by optimizing socialization activities, coordination and synergy, one data application and studies to support the work completion process in each field within the Regional Government Organizations of Bintan Regency.

Abstract

This study analyzes the factors that influence Effectiveness of the Work of Functional Equivalency Officials in the Implementation of the Bureaucratic Simplification Policy in the Bintan Regency Government, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The legal basis for bureaucratic simplification is regulated in PERMENPANRB NO. 25 OF 2021 concerning the Simplification of Organizational Structures in Government Agencies for Bureaucratic Simplification. The negative impact of this policy that needs to be anticipated is the psychological impact on Administrators (echelon III) and Supervisors (echelon IV) who will lose their positions. Using primary data from 153Functional Officials, this study found that Compensation and Organizational Commitment have a significant direct effect on Work Effectiveness, on the other hand Job Placement is proven to have an insignificant effect on Work Effectiveness, in addition Compensation, Job Placement and Organizational Commitment have a significant effect on Job Satisfaction. Job Satisfaction has a significant effect on Work Effectiveness. In the indirect effect, Compensation and Organizational Commitment have a significant effect on Work Effectiveness through Job Satisfaction. However, Job Placement does not have a significant effect on Work Effectiveness through Job Satisfaction. The proposed recommendation is to focus on increasing work effectiveness and other aspects that have a more direct effect on the psychological impact of Administrator (echelon III) and Supervisor (echelon IV) officials who will lose their positions.
