Anemia is a condition of low hemoglobin levels in the blood that leads to a decrease in the number of red blood cells. It is the second leading cause of disability in the world and a global public health issue. In Palembang City, the prevalence of anemia among adolescent girls reached 26.5%. If left untreated, anemia can continue into adulthood and increase the risk of pregnancy complications, such as maternal death, premature birth, and low birth weight babies.
