Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are traditional educational institutions that prioritize a religion-based curriculum. The Darul Hikmah Orphans Islamic Boarding School, located in Cot Yang Village, Kuta Barou District, Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh Province, faces the challenge of low levels of entrepreneurial skills in the field of welding and atomizing painting due to the absence of this material in their curriculum. To overcome this, atomizing welding and painting training was carried out at Islamic boarding schools, which aimed to improve students' hard skills in this field. This training is also planned to develop business units, including the establishment of atomizing welding and painting workshops. This atomizing welding and painting entrepreneurship training program is measured by several parameters, with the output being the basic welding technical skills obtained by the students. It is hoped that this program will produce entrepreneurs in atomizing welding and painting workshops that will benefit the environment of the Darul Hikmah Cot Yang Orphan Islamic Boarding School. The training implementation stages include welding and painting theory, occupational health and safety (K3), as well as practice and assistance in basic welding and painting, with the final product being a table. The training material was adopted from teaching welding and painting practices at Syiah Kuala Darussalam University-Aceh. The result of this training is an increase in participants' knowledge in welding and painting, as well as their ability to apply these processes by prioritizing K3 (Occupational Safety and Health).

Abstract

The rehabilitation of irrigation pumps plays a crucial role in ensuring sufficient water availability for rice fields in Gampong Limpong, Darussalam District. A significant challenge faced by farmers in this region is the malfunctioning of irrigation pumps, which leads to suboptimal water distribution. This issue directly affects agricultural productivity and the welfare of farmers. Through rehabilitation efforts, damaged pumps are either repaired or replaced with more efficient units. The rehabilitation process involves the identification of damages, repair of key components, and operational trials to verify optimal pump performance. Results from this initiative indicate a more stable availability of irrigation water, thereby enhancing crop yields for farmers. This rehabilitation not only offers technical solutions but also fosters active community involvement in maintaining the sustainability of the irrigation system. Consequently, this program contributes positively to the development of the agricultural sector in Gampong Limpok.

Abstract

This community service program aims to increase the production capacity of the creative rencong souvenir industry through mentoring in mastering mass printing technology. The rencong, as a traditional Acehnese weapon, has been transformed into a souvenir product with significant economic potential, yet it remains constrained by the limitations of conventional production techniques. Through this program, craftsmen and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the rencong souvenir sector receive intensive training and mentoring on efficient and high-quality mass printing techniques. The methods employed include technology transfer, hands-on training, and continuous monitoring to ensure program sustainability. The expected outcomes are improved productivity, production efficiency, and product quality standardization, ultimately enhancing the competitiveness of the creative rencong souvenir industry in both local and national markets. This program is also designed to positively impact local economic empowerment while preserving Aceh's cultural heritage through innovative creative industry products.

Abstract

This study aims to improve writing skills in English by using a cooperative learning model to fill in the gaps in the text of a song. The expected indicator is that students are able to write vocabulary in English. This research method is Classroom Action Research. The object of this research is writing skills through the cooperative learning model to fill in the gaps in the text of a song while the research subjects are students of class VII/C SMP Negeri 5 Meulaboh. students still have errors in writing vocabulary. Therefore, the cooperative learning model of filling in the gaps in the text of a song can improve vocabulary writing skills in English and can also increase students' enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

PT Indonesia Chemical Alumina (ICA) is a company that produces 300,000 tons of chemical grade alumina (CGA) per year. Of this amount, there is an average of 15,000 tons that do not meet market specifications every year. Alumina that does not meet this specification is only piled up by PT. ICA and takes up space, so it is economically detrimental to the company because they have to provide space to accommodate it. In fact, this alumina has a very high Al2O3 content and is in the form of an alpha phase or α-Al2O3 which is the most stable phase at the highest temperatures, so it can be processed into useful materials and has high added value such as high alumina bricks through compaction and sintering. Process conditions such as percent binder, load during compaction and sintering temperature greatly affect the quality of the high alumina bricks produced. The purpose of this study is to optimize the process conditions for making high-alumina bricks by identifying the relationship between input variables and the measured responses and developing a prediction model for experimental variations that will be used in optimizing the process conditions for the manufacture of high alumina bricks. The Design Expert 7.0® program with Box-Behnken Design Response Surface Methodology (RSM) is used to research and select process conditions from a combination of factor levels that produce an optimal response. Based on RSM Box-Behnken Design it is known that the main effects of binder percentage, compaction load and sintering temperature are factors that greatly influence the response value of high alumina bricks. The optimal response value for high alumina bricks is a compressive strength of 8.2229 MPa, with a process condition of 3% binder percent, a compacting load of 10 tons and a sintering temperature of 1600ºC.

Abstract

This study discusses the problems that exist in the Sigli Syariah Ulamm PNM environment where the problem is providing a determination of the provision of venture capital in Pidie district. The distribution of capital assistance is one of the right solutions for reducing poverty and expanding employment. To design a Decision Support System for providing business capital assistance at PNM Ulamm Syariah Sigli using the Weighted product model (WPM) method, the decision-making method by multiplying to connect attribute rating, the rating of each attribute must first be raised to the weight of the attribute in question. Abstract

The title classification system aims to help users to Group A student seminar title document into a Category. The number of Student Research title documents requires an application system that can group these documents according to their respective categories. The purpose of this study is how to build a seminar title classification system by utilizing the approach through the text of the title and description of the seminar with the TF-IDF Method to give weight to the frequency of the relationship on the occurrence of a word (term) in the calculation of the merger of title and description of the seminar. And the Cosine Similarity algorithm is used as a comparison method to know how much similarity between the two documents. This research is conducted by implementing the text mining method with cosine similarity algorithm and TF-IDF weighting so that it is expected to classify data automatically, quickly, and accurately. Using dummy data as training data used in this study, totaling 100 seminars that have been carried out with several categories of different fields of science. And for its implementation using the PHP programming language, and with the help of data resources the use of text mining that is already in PHP which is useful for the text preprocessing stage, and then will continue with the implementation process of TF-IDF Motode and Cosine Similarity algorithm.

Abstract

Durian plant is a fruit plant that can be cultivated and is included in horticultural crops. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (2018) obtained through the National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) in 2019, the results showed that almost all Indonesian people, namely 97.29% consumed vegetables, then around 72.59% consumed fruit. Durian fruit is included in one of the indicators in the survey ranking eighth out of a total of ten fruit commodities surveyed by the public, this shows that the demand for and consumption of durian fruit in Indonesia is still quite high. In this regard, a Geographic Information System (GIS) for mapping durian plantation commodities will be built. With this geographic information system, the Plantation and Forestry Service of the Pidie district can manage field data more quickly and in good detail. The GIS creation above uses the QGIS application to create maps, then digitizes image data from the monitoring layer and analyzes spatial data and uses the Google Earth application to digitize coordinates. The objectives of this research are as follows: To make it easier for the government to manage field data quickly and in detail, then the relevant departments can record durian plantation land owners for distribution of assistance and selection of suppliers for business units that require materials from durian harvests.

Abstract

This study examined the factors affecting the financial performance of Islamic Banking in Indonesia. This study used secondary data taken from 11 banks. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique. The method used to analyze the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is the panel data regression method. The results partially concluded that Non-Performing Financing negatively and significantly influenced Financial Performance at Islamic Banking in Indonesia. The Capital Adequacy Ratio positively and significantly influenced Financial Performance at Islamic Banking in Indonesia. And the Natural Certainty Contract positively and significantly influenced the financial performance of Islamic Banking in Indonesia. Simultaneously, Non-Performing Financing, Capital Adequacy Ratio, and Natural Certainty Contract positively and significantly influenced the financial performance of Islamic Banking in Indonesia.
