Abstract

This study aims to determine the productive pedagogies skills of prospective teachers in implementing learning in the pandemic era. These skills indicate the professional level of a teacher in carrying out their duties. Ideally the teacher should be able to show every dimension of productive pedagogies during the learning process. Productive pedagogies of a teacher can be seen from three dimensions, namely intellectual quality, relevance, and mastery of the classroom environment. The implementation of this descriptive research is carried out in the implementation of teaching by biology education teacher candidate students who do Field Experience Practices. Productive pedagogies are measured using a Likert scale questionnaire and observation sheets on the implementation of learning. The data obtained were analyzed on the conversion of values ​​with the low to high category, and then the comparison was carried out using the scheme to provide a description of the productive pedagogies' domination. The research findings show that the productive pedagogies of biology teacher candidates based on a questionnaire (85.75) and the implementation of learning (93.00) are in the very good category. The rating of each dimension of productive pedagogies is in the very good category. It can be concluded that prospective biology teachers are considered ready to face learning situations both offline and online with good learning strategies.

Abstract

Literasi sains siswa di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah. Literasi sains berarti bukan hanya sekedar kemampuan untuk membaca dan menulis tentang sains melainkan juga mengandung kemampuan untuk menerapkan  memproses, memberikan sikap yang tepat terkait konsep sains dalam kehidupan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kompetensi dan level awal literasi sains mahasiswa program studi sekolah dasar serta mendeskripsikan kemampuan tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pendahuluan (elementary research). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik analisa data secara induktif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan guru sekolah dasar yang memprogram mata kuliah pendidikan lingkungan hidup. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes tertulis dan dianalisis menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kompetensi literasi sains mahasiswa pada menginterpretasi data dan bukti ilmiah, merangcang dan evaluasi penyelidikan ilmiah, dan menjelaskan fenomena ilmiah berturut-turut yakni: 27%, 50% dan 43%. Pencapaian level literasi tertinggi yakni pada level 1, sebesar 85,3 %, dan terendah pada level 5 sebesar 7,86 %. Hal ini menunjukkan kemampuan mahasiswa berdasarkan level soal masih sangat rendah.

Abstract

Komunikasi dalam ruang virtual terjadi tidak hanya dalam konteks interpersonal tetapi semakin berkembang dalam lingkup kelompok. Kehadiran platform komunikasi berbasis kolaborasi/Team Communication Platform (TCP) seperti Slack dan Asana- menggabungkan berbagai fitur di media sosial seperti platform jejaring sosial dan pesan singkat dirasa penting untuk mencapai komunikasi yang efektif dan efisien. Kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang manajemen komunikasi kelompok kecil yang efektif pada siswa; dan pemahaman tentang pemanfaatan manajemen cloud platform sebagai media komunikasi kelompok pada siswa SMA Negeri 2. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 13 Desember 2019 sasaran kegiatan berjumlah 70 siswa-siswi di SMA Negeri 2 Tambun Utara. Media pelatihan yang digunakan Power point, Handphone, Slack dan Asana. Pelatihan dilaksanakan alam benuk cerama, diskusi dan prakti sampai pelajar mampu mengoperasikan berbagai cloud platform (Salck dan Asana). Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan para siswa dapat memanfaatkan dan mengoperasikan berbagai platform (Slack dan Asana) untuk mengelolah komunikasi kelompok siswa khusunya menciptakan komunikasi efektif dalam tim diruang virtual. Dengan demikian, para siswa setelah mengikut kegiatan ini mampu secara mandiri mengoperasikan berbagai platform (Slack dan Asana) terutama dalam menyelesaikan tugas sekolah berbasis kelompok. Selain itu, untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas siswa-siswa di era teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang semakin hari semakin maju dan berkembang, kegiatan pelatihan serupa perlu sering dilakukan guna membiasakan siswa dalam memanfaatkan teknologi khususnya dalam membangun komunikasi tim diantara siswa.

Abstract

Kampung Bali Bekasi is a tourist destination with elements of authentic Balinese culture in the city of Bekasi. This cultural tourism destination, which is more or less three years old, has attracted the interest of the public and the media to come and cover them. The enthusiasm of the people who came to visit there was mostly to treat their curiosity and share the moments there on the social media they used. However, this is not followed by the management of Kampung Bali Bekasi, which actually has an Instagram account as a medium of communication. However, it cannot be categorized as optimal because it does not produce audio-visual content there too often. Therefore, this activity aims to conduct training and assistance in making audio-visual media in preserving local culture and developing cultural tourism destinations in Kampung Bali Bekasi. This community service is carried out using a descriptive qualitative approach and narrative analysis. This activity resulted in two activities that were well received by the people of Kampung Bali Bekasi. First, training in making audio-visual media generates community understanding and knowledge on how to make good audio-visual content with the theme Kampung Bali Bekasi. Then the assistance in making audio visual media generates an understanding regarding the choice of social media and good forms of content so that Kampung Bali Bekasi can develop their cultural tourism destinations through social media.

Abstract

Literasi finansial adalah salah satu literasi dasar yang harus dimiliki peserta didik. Namun Indonesia termasuk salah satu negara berkembang yang tingkat pengetahuan literasi finansialnya tergolong rendah. Selain rendahnya pemahaman orangtua dalam memahami urgensi pendidikan literasi keuangan, sebagian orangtua masih menganggap bahwa anak-anak tidak perlu memahami tata cara pengelolaan uang. Hal ini menyebabkan anak tumbuh menjadi pribadi yang konsumtif, boros atau tidak memiliki kemampuan dalam mengelola uang. Padahal kecerdasan finansial menjadi kecerdasan yang dibutuhkan untuk menghadapi kehidupan dunia global agar mampu bersaing dan bersanding dengan bangsa lain dalam menciptakan kesejahteraan. Mengingat pentingnya kecerdasan finansial, pendidikan literasi keuangan harus mulai diajarkan dan dilatih sejak dini. Ada berbagai kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan finansial anak, diantaranya dengan melaksanakan pendidikan literasi keuangan sebagai upaya membangun kesadaran berperilaku bijak dalam pengelolaan keuangan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana peran yang dilakukan orang tua terhadap pendidikan nilai religius pada anak dan apa saja yang menjadi faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang dihadapi orang tua dalam melakukan perannya sebagai orang tua untuk dapat menumbuhkan nilai religius pada anak. Objek dalam penelitian ini yaitu orang tua dan anak di Kampung Mekarjaya RT 10 Desa Cibening Kecamatan Bungursari dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang akan mendeskripsikan peran orang tua terhadap anak dalam menanamkan nilai religius dengan data yang disajikan sampel berjumlah 24 kepala keluarga dari populasi 148. Adapun analisa teori yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan teori Glock & Stark untuk  mengungkapkan dimensi keberagamaan anak usia 10-12 tahun melalui peran orang tua dengan menggunakan metode nasihat, metode pembiasaan, metode keteladanan dan metode hukuman. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa pertama, peran yang dilakukan oleh orang tua untuk menanamkan nilai religius pada anak dinilai baik karena dengan berbagai macam metode orang tua berusaha untuk memberikan peranan yang terbaik bagi anaknya. Kedua, perilaku yang ditunjukan oleh anak berdasarkan lima dimensi religiulitas menurut teori Glock & Stark bahwa anak cukup mampu melakukan kelima dimensi tersebut namun membutuhkan selalu bimbingan dan perhatian secara terus menerus oleh orang tua.

Abstract

Formal education will make children smart on the academic side but not necessarily on the interpersonal side. Good interpersonal skills are very important in everyone's life. With good interpersonal skills, children are expected to have emotional intelligence, therefore, good interpersonal skills must be formed and trained consistently. This interpersonal ability cannot only be taught through classroom learning, but learning that provides direct experience is needed. The living environment has a very large influence on interpersonal development such as the environment in Kebagusan Village. Considering the environmental conditions of Kebagusan Village and based on the results of interviews and observations, the STM PPM PkM Team is committed to providing training to improve soft skills/interpersonal skills for Kebagusan Village children through traditional game stimuli. Based on the results of the evaluation of the implementation of soft skill training through traditional games, it shows changes in the behavior of children who are starting to dare to answer questions, dare to volunteer to be leaders in groups, dare to start conversations with the PKM STM PPM Team, show initiative when their friends experience difficulties, and start understand the meaning of mutual respect which is shown by being willing to listen when someone else is talking and not busy talking to himself. The conclusion from this community service activity is that the soft skills/interpersonal abilities of the children of Kebagusan Village are more honed if they are stimulated from an early age.

Abstract

Stop motion animated videos are animated videos created by manipulating video movement techniques from a combination of images that form as if the collection of images were like a moving video. This research aims to develop an animated video-based learning media on human digestive system material that is valid and practical. This research is included in Development research (R&D) using the Plomp development model. The data collection instruments used were validation sheets, interview sheets and validated practicality questionnaires. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Validation results by media experts show that the learning media developed has an average percentage of 96% (very valid). The validation results by material experts obtained an average percentage of 98.33% (very valid). The validation results by learning experts obtained an average percentage of 93.12% (very valid). The practicality results by students show that the media developed received an average percentage of 85.62% (very practical). The results of teacher practicality show that the media developed received an average percentage of 83.29 (very practical). The conclusion is that learning media based on stop motion animation videos on the human digestive system got a percentage of 95.81% in the very valid category and a percentage of 84.45% in the very practical category.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the low learning motivation of the remaining students at SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between Self Efficacy and students' biology learning motivation. The research method used in this research is the correlational method, using a saturated sampling technique, which is a sample determination technique if all members of the population are sampled. The sample in this study was 90 students. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire. Based on the significant test (t test) is obtained tcount > ttable is 14,464 > 1,987. This means that there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and self-efficacy. The R2 (R square) value based on the test results is 0.704 or 70.392%. This shows that 70.392% of learning motivation variables are influenced by self-efficacy. The variance in the model's independent variable (self efficacy) can reach 70.392% of the variance in the dependent variable (learning motivation). So it is concluded that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and student learning motivation at SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru for the 2023/2024 academic year in the strong category.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of the Clean and Healthy Lifestyle Behavior (PHBS) activity program on the independence attitude of children aged 4-5 years at Pembina State Kindergarten. Using a one-group pretest-posttest design, this study involved 20 children in group A as samples. The research process included a pretest, four sessions of PHBS learning activities, a post-test, and interviews with educators. The results showed that the average pretest score was 59.70, indicating that most children had not shown adequate independence, such as completing tasks independently. After the implementation of the PHBS program, the average post-test score increased significantly to 160.91. Statistical analysis with SPSS produced a t-test value of -29.24, with df = 19 and a significance value (2-tailed) = 0.000, indicating a significant increase in children's independence after the implementation of the PHBS program. This finding is consistent with previous theories and studies stating that the PHBS program can effectively increase children's independence. Thus, it can be concluded that the PHBS program has a significant positive influence on increasing the independence of children aged 4-5 years at Pembina State Kindergarten. This program has proven effective in supporting children's ability to complete daily tasks independently and in managing personal health.
