Abstract

Sidenreng Rappang Regency, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, is one of the regions with significant potential in the agricultural sector. Improving the economy through the agricultural sector needs to be balanced with the role of infrastructure, especially road networks. The purpose of this research is to determine the potential of the area based on the accessibility, connectivity and mobility of the road network with a focus on the distribution of agricultural products. The descriptive quantitative research method uses SWOT analysis with data collection from 30 respondents from the stakeholder side using a questionnaire survey. The research results based on the regional potential analysis show that rice, coconut and laying hens are the leading commodities. The analysis of the road network for the accessibility aspect shows that five out of eleven sub-districts still have poor accessibility, the connectivity aspect shows that each area is already connected, and the mobility aspect shows that the mobility index has not yet been achieved in three out of eleven sub-districts. The results of the SWOT analysis of the strategy for improving the road network based on the strengths and opportunities (SO) are as follows: improving the road network according to its roles and functions, maximising technical programmes according to the role of the regional budget (APBD), and making investments in infrastructure strengthening adapted to the region's potential.

Abstract

This study will analyze the factors that influence the choice of public transportation modes in Sudu Central Market. The study will focus on two types of transportation modes: pete-pete cars and motorcycle taxis. We used the binomial logistic regression method to identify the variables that influence user decisions in choosing between the two modes of transportation. The study surveyed 100 respondents, testing variables such as cost, travel time, comfort, safety, frequency, and accessibility. The results are clear: comfort, travel time, safety, and accessibility have a significant influence on the choice of transportation modes, with a p value <0.05. The results are clear: the more comfortable, faster, safer, and more accessible the transportation mode, the greater the chance of users choosing a pete-pete car. Conversely, costs had a negative effect, where higher costs meant less likelihood of choosing a pete-pete car. The frequency of departure had no significant impact in this regression model.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the operasional performance of online motorcycle courier services and the factors considered by consumenrs when choosing online motorcycle courier services. Customers who have utilized online courier services are the subject of this research employing the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) approach to determine that there are 90 respondents. The results show that 90 customers are mostly female (60%), have a high school education (62%), work as students (37%), are aged 21-30 years (54.4%), own a motorcycle as their private vehicle (82%), have an income of ≤ Rp. 1,000,000 (43%), make choices based on products (54%), use services once a week (36%), and order online courier services during the day (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM WITA). For the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method, the average expectation level is 4.65 and the average performance level is 4.03. From the IPA quadrant diagram, one indicator that needs improvement falls into Quadrant I. Five indicators that need to be maintained are in Quadrant II, five indicators with still low priority are in Quadrant III, and one indicator considered excessive falls into Quadrant IV. Consumer considerations in selecting online courier services are based on reasons where the majority of respondents state that safe and comfortable service accounts for 52%, and the advantages of using online courier services due to easy ordering account for 46%.
