Abstract

Siswa SLB Muhammadiyah Pauh IX Padang kelas 9 Tunarungu yaitu AMT dan IPS memiliki kesulitan saat pembelajaran keterampilan yang mengakibatkan siswa tersebut sering kali bingung dan tidak paham akan langkah-langkah dalam membuat suatu kerajinan. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan media video tutorial berbahasa isyarat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membuat suatu produk keterampilan salah satu nya yaitu lampu hias yang terbuat dari benang wol. Penelitian ini menggunakan siklus I dan siklus II.. Dalam penelitian ini, tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi merupakan teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Temuan penelitian diperoleh dari informasi yang dikumpulkan sebelum melakukan penilaian kapasitas. awal dalam membuat lampu hias AMT memperoleh persentase(16%)dan IPS(22%). Pada siklus I persentase AMT meningkat (61%) IPS (58%). Siklus II peningkatan persentase hasil belajar AMT(100%) dan IPS(91%). Kami dapat menyimpulkan bahwa menggunakan video tutorial berbahasa isyarat efektif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam membuat lampu hias dari benang wol.

Abstract

Community participation in developing the regional economy is needed. However, with the current condition, people are confused about where to start their business and what kind. Through community service lecturers on training in making dishwashing detergents, it is hoped that this can reduce the burden on the community. Dish washing soap is one of the household necessities which functions as a remover of dirt and grease on eating and cooking utensils. The continuous consumption of dish soap every day causes the need to procure soap at a cost that is not small, especially for women in RT 2 RW 4 Kelurahan Koto Lua Sub-district Pauh Padang. The purpose of carrying out this community service is to provide knowledge and training to mothers about making liquid dish soap in order to reduce community expenditure on purchasing soap as well as to create new business opportunities. In the service activity, the raw materials, work procedures and production costs for making dish soap will be explained. From the activities carried out, partners can produce product output in the form of liquid dish soap according to the method given in the training. The results obtained by training participants were able to recognize ingredients and be able to make dishwashing detergent and increase the skills of mothers in making dishwashing detergent.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of innovative teaching tools in special education settings, one of which is learning the conversion of units of measurement. The research was conducted at SLB Negeri 2 Sawahlunto with the target of intellectual   disability students who face challenges in understanding math concepts related to units of measurement. This research aims to develop learning media in the form of Kotak Saran (Unit of Measurement Conversion). Using research and development methods with 4D design. The subject of this research and development trial was by related experts such as media experts, tools, and learning for students with disabilities. As well as a practicality test by an educator and a student of intellectual disability. The data collection tool is a questionnaire instrument for the validity of the Kotak Saran media and a response instrument for the assessment of the Kotak Saran media. The data analysis technique used is descriptive data analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the Kotak Saran learning media is useful and feasible as a learning media in the conversion of units of measurement with the acquisition of a validation value of 92.40% and a practicality test of 82.5%. The final form of this product is in the form of learning media packaged in the form of an android application so that it can be opened anywhere and anytime via an android smartphone.

Abstract

Parents who have children with cerebral palsy sometimes experience hopeless caring. Some parents feel shocked and cannot accept the fact that their child has a disability. Therefore we need an analysis of the needs of parents who have children with cerebral palsy. In the current study, to understand the needs of parents who have children with cerebral palsy, it is necessary to conduct family counseling in accordance with the cultural background and socio-economic level of the family. The purpose of this study is to explain the needs of parents who have children with cerebral palsy. This research is a quantitative study, namely research that uses explanatory research because this research was conducted in Padang, Indonesia, with a total sample of 13 parents who had children with cerebral palsy. The data source came from distributing questionnaires after family counseling was conducted to parents who had children with cerebral palsy. This study's results are that parental needs consist of several indicators, namely acceptance of parents who have children with cerebral palsy, factors that influence parents in receiving their children with cerebral palsy, and problems and obstacles faced by parents in dealing with their children with cerebral palsy.

Abstract

Inclusive education is an educational services system where people with disabilities can attend to the nearest regular school of their place, included college. Persons with hearing impairment is one of the minorities who is still marginalized from the right, including the needs of access to communications and information technology. Because of that, people with hearing impairment are not able to participate in instructional activities. Based on the observation and the interview, to graduate and undergraduate students with hearing impairment of Special Education department, they said that they still have problems in communicating with lecturers or other students, because of their inability to understand the explanation of the lecturer. This paper aims at providing an analysis of using speech to text app in an inclusive education course, which can record the voice of a lecturer and converted to text that is displayed through the power point, so that, the students with hearing impairment can read the text when the learning occurred. A classroom action research with tw0 cycle is used to recognize a summary of the instructional which attended by two students with hearing impairment and twenty-eight regular students. Observation, test, and interview conducted by team teaching show that speech to text based on power point has an impact in increasing comprehension of students with hearing impairment on inclusive education course.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan kurangnya kreativitas siswa dan minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran pada pembelajaran Tematik. Hal itu disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang masih menggunakan metode yang konvensional dan hanya berpusat pada guru. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif antara guru dan peneliti. Penelitian ini akan diterapkan selama 2 siklus dan akan menerapkan desain penelitian oleh Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan dan pengamatan, refleksi dan perencanaan ulang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 1 SDN 90/II Talang Pantai yang berjumlah 19 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa melalui Media Kertas Origami pada pembelajaran Tematik di kelas 1 SDN 90/II Talang Pantai. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini ialah adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yaitu pada ranah psikomotor. Hasil pengamatan pembelajaran dengan penerapan media gambar pada siklus I menunjukkan ketuntasan siswa mencapai 68% atau 13 siswa yang tuntas, dan pada siklus II menunjukkan ketuntasan mencapai 95% atau 18 siswa yang tuntas. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerpakan Media Kertas Origami dalam proses pembelajaran akan dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa pada kelas 1 SDN 90/II Talang Pantai .”

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan modul berbasis pendekatan kontekstual dengan adobe flash yang valid, praktis dan efektif untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis desain penelitian 4D oleh Thiagarajan, Semmel, dam Semmel (1974). Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam empat fase, yaitu melakukan pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran di sekolah dasar. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan analisis dokumen, observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan, tes, dan angket. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, modul telah memenuhi kriteria dari segi isi, pendekatan, format, dan bahasa dengan persentase 83% dalam kriteria sangat valid. Hasil observasi, angket, dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa modul dari segi kemudahan penggunaan, penggunaan waktu, dan keterbacaan oleh guru dan siswa memperoleh persentase 86% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Selain itu, modul yang dikembangkan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan presentase efektifitas 70,27% dalam kriteria efektif.

Abstract

This type of research is a type of quasi-experimental research in the form of Random Research Group Control.The sample technique is Simple Random Sampling.The sample in this study was the experimental group class IV A using the Science Technology Community Learning Model (STM). Based on the results of the study showed that the model of Community Science Technology Learning (STM) affects the activities and learning outcomes in elementary schools that are tested and processed using t test.The results of the learning activity questionnaire before learning were obtained tcount = and the questionnaire test after learning were obtained tcount =. In addition, data showing pretest learning outcomes obtained tcount = with ttable = 2.024 and posttest learning outcomes tcount = with ttable = 2.024 at a significance level É‘ = 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Community Science and Technology Learning Model (STM) on the activities and learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD 12 Padang Koto Gadang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model CLIS dan yang menggunakan model Scientific  pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu Kelas IV di SD Negeri 24 Parupuk Tabing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Quasi Exsperimental dengan bentuk non equivalent control group design. Teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik cluster sampling dengan  berdasarkan hasil normalitas dan homogenitas maka terrpilihlah  SDN 52 Parupuk Tabing dengan sampel yang terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen kelas IVA menggunakan model CLIS yang berjumlah 24 siswa dan kelas kontrol kelas IVB menggunakan model scientific yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Hasil penelitian dengan uji-t menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas yang menggunakan model CLIS adalah 86,67 dan kelas yang menggunakan model scientific  adalah 75,83. Diperoleh hasil thitung 15,4518 >2,01 ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan penggunaan model CLIS dan model scientific  terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu di kelas IV SD

Abstract

Pendidikan memegang peranan sebagai wahana dalam proses peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia secara menyeluruh. Pendidikan menuntut manusia menjadi cerdas, baik dalam bidang akademis maupun sosial. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dalam proses pembelajaran. Quantum Teaching menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang efektif dengan menggunakan unsur yang ada pada siswa dan lingkungan belajarnya melalui interaksi yang terjadi di dalam kelas . Selain itu, Quantum Teaching juga merupakan sebuah model pembelajaran yang meriah dengan mengaktifkan interaksi-interaksi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang mempengaruhi pencapaian keberhasilan siswa dan dapat mengakomodasi minat siswa. Tinggi atau rendahnya minat siswa terhadap suatu pembelajaran sangat penting untuk diketahui. IPS adalah salah satu mata pelajaran yang wajib diberikan di Sekolah Dasar dengan pokok kajian hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan masalah sosial di masyarakat yakni berupa peristiwa, fakta, konsep, dan generalisasi ditinjau dari berbagai aspek kehidupan secara terpadu sehingga siswa harus memiliki keterampilan sosial dan intelektual dan mampu mengenal gejala atau fenomena yang terjadi dalam aspek kehidupannya
