Abstract

Every parent who has a child would want to nurture and educate him, as well as families who have limitations or have special needs, especially in deaf families, this study explains the profile of deaf families who live in the Bungung Bay Subdistrict of Kabung Bay, the family numbered seven people, among them there was a father, mother and five other children and all of them were hearing impaired, living in remote and without electricity. This family lives with various limitations, including hearing and economic limitations, they live independently and help one another. This research will reveal the family tree, faktors causing disability, environmental perception and interaction of the deaf family in the environment. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. the results show that this family is a very friendly and polite family with everyone. while the faktors that cause disability are due to hereditary faktors and are supported by environmental faktors. this is because this family lives in a remote place and far from the community. people's perception of this family is very good and they communicate using oral language and gestures to everyone.

Abstract

Masyarakat luas saat ini semakin berminat dengan ikan sebagai makanan sehari-hari. Di samping karena himpitan ekonomi, masyarakat dapat mengolah ikan dengan digoreng, dibakar, dan digulai. Oleh karena itu, pelet sebagai pakan ikan juga harus berkualitas mengikuti jumlah konsumen yang meningkat. Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan (PPK) ini  dilatarbelakangi  oleh data sebagian besar lulusan perguruan tinggi lebih banyak sebagai pencari kerja daripada pencipta lapangan pekerjaan. Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan adalah suatu wadah untuk mendidik dan mengembangkan jiwa kewirausahaan bagi mahasiswa, sehingga lulusan perguruan tinggi diharapkan mempunyai sense of business yang memadai. Tujuan program pengembangan kewirausahaan ini  yaitu  meningkatkan  keterampilan mahasiswa dalam berwirausaha pelet pakan ikan, di samping dia menjadi guru di sekolah luar biasa nantinya. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah bervariasi, demonstrasi, metoda latihan, serta diskusi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan skema program pengembangan kewirausahaan ini telah mampu meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam membuat pelet pakan ikan dan berwirausaha pelet pakan ikan. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari proses pembuatan pelet, pemberian pakan, dan pemasaran pakan kepada petani ikan.

Abstract

This research aims to observe the improvement of the ability to subtract lower numbers for mild mentally disabled students in phase B of SLB Kemala Bhayangkari Lintau Buo after using the Direct Instruction model. The type of this study is Single Subject Research (SSR) with an A-B-A design. The baseline phase (A1) was conducted in four sessions, aiming to obtain initial data on students' abilities. This is followed by the intervention phase (B), which was conducted over eight sessions using the Direct Instruction model. Finally, a second baseline phase (A2) was conducted for four meeting sessions to evaluate the sustained impact of the intervention. Data collection was performed through performance testing techniques using an instrument in the form of a checklist to record the students' performance results. Data analysis was then conducted using visual graphic techniques. The research results show that at the baseline condition (A1), the results obtained were 10%, 15%, 30%, 35%, 40%, 50%, 70%, 70%. Meanwhile, at the baseline condition (A2), the results were 75%, 85%, 95%, 95%. Based on the data analysis results, this study indicates that the ability to perform subtraction in students with mild intellectual disabilities improved after the implementation of the Direct Instruction learning model. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Direct Instruction model is effective in enhancing the ability to perform subtraction in students with mild intellectual disabilities during the intervention phase (B) at SLB Kemala Bhayangkari Lintau Buo.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to add downward series with the storage technique using Number Stick Media. The researcher used quantitative research type with experimental approach in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR) with A-B-A design. Techniques in data collection in the form of tests and data collection tools for test questions. The data produced is analyzed using visual graphic analysis. The subjects of this study were students with Mild Intellectual Disabilities Phase D class VIII SLB Negeri 2 Padang City. The results of the study showed that in the baseline condition (A1) which was conducted three times with observations and obtained a stable percentage of 27%. In the Intervention condition (B) which was conducted seven times with observations and obtained a stable percentage of 90% and in the baseline condition (A2) which was conducted three times with observations and obtained a stable percentage of 90%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the number stick learning media can improve the ability to add downward series with the storage technique for children with Mild Intellectual Disabilities

Abstract

The counting box media is a form of contact media made from cardboard and plywood that is used to easily understand addition material correctly and well. This article discusses the effectiveness of the counting box media in improving the addition skills of students with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB Al Azhar Bukittinggi. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Single Subject Research (SSR) method designed as A-B-A. The results of the research conducted show that in the baseline phase, 25% was achieved in three meetings. In the baseline phase (A1), there were 8 meetings with scores of 65%, 80%, 80%, 90%, 90%, 95%, 95%, 95%, and in the baseline phase (A2), there were three meetings with a score of 95%. It can be concluded that the use of the counting box media is effective in improving the addition skills of students with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB Al Azhar Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Gangguan spektrum autisme merupakan gangguan perkembangan neurobiologis ditandai dengan kurangnya komunikasi. Hasil asesmen di SLB Negeri 2 Padang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima anak dengan Gangguan Spektrum Autisme (GSA) ringan yang masih mengalami kesulitan dalam berkomunikasi secara verbal, khususnya dalam hal menjawab pertanyaan sederhana. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menguji keefektifan media UNO stacko mension dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi verbal melalui menjawab pertanyaan sederhana. Penelitian ini berbentuk pre eksperiment desaign dengan pendekatan one gorup pretest-posttest. Menggunakan media UNO stacko mension berisi tema dan masing-masing pertanyaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes lisan melalui pretest, treatment, dan posttest. Alat pengukuran yang digunakan yaitu tes lisan yang berisi 25 pertanyaan sederhana dan menggunakan alat ukur magnitude. Analisis data yang diterapkan adalah uji statistik non-parametrik yaitu uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media UNO Stacko Mension berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi verbal anak dengan Gangguan Spektrum Autisme (GSA) ringan di SLB Negeri 2 Padang.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan modul ajar pendidikan seksual berbasis Problem-Based Learning (PBL) yang dilengkapi dengan multirepresentasi bagi anak disabilitas intelektual ringan di Panti Sosial Bina Grahita Harapan Ibu Padang. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada belum tersedianya program khusus maupun modul ajar yang sistematis mengenai pendidikan seksual di panti tersebut, padahal telah ditemukan beberapa perilaku seksual menyimpang pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Design-Based Research dengan model pengembangan Plomp yang terdiri dari dua tahap utama, yaitu penelitian pendahuluan dan fase pengembangan. Observasi, wawancara, studi literatur, validitas dan uji kepraktisan adalah beberapa cara untuk mengumpulkan data Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor rata-rata validitas sebesar 0,87 dan dinyatakan valid. Selain itu, hasil uji kepraktisan oleh pendidik dan para siswa menunjukkan skor rata-rata sebesar 90,4% dan dikategorikan sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, modul ajar ini layak digunakan sebagai perangkat pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pendidikan seksual bagi anak disabilitas intelektual ringan.

Abstract

This research is based on the problems discovered by the researcher at SLB Negeri 2 Padang. A hearing-impaired student in grade II who still does not recognize numbers. This study aims to improve the ability to recognize numbers using web-based educational game media. The research uses a quantitative approach and the type of research used in this study is experimental research in the form of single subject research (SSR), with an A-B-A design. The results of the study showed that the Baseline (A) condition was carried out three times and obtained a stability presentation of 30% each. Which shows a horizontal directional trend. And in the condition of Intervention (B) which was carried out 7 times by observers and obtained an increase of 90%. Which shows an increasing trend of direction with a change level (+50) and at baseline conditions (A2) that is carried out 3 times to obtain a stable percentage of 30%, indicating a tendency to increase with the change level (+5). It can be said that there is an increase in recognizing numbers by using game education media which shows the percentage of data with an overlap of 0%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that web-based game education media can improve the ability to recognize numbers in children with hearing disabilities

Abstract

Beginning reading is an early stage ability that must be mastered. However, problems are still often found in elementary schools (SD), there are students who have difficulty reading the beginning. For this reason, appropriate solutions are needed so that students can be help improve their initial reading skills. At SD Negeri 02 Koto Tangah Tilatang Kamang, the teacher provides a solution related to the problem of students who have difficulty learning to read at the beginning by using interactive multimedia learning media RUBA (reading room) which has been proven to be effective. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research to find out how the implementation of these media in learning to read begins. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach and the type of research was descriptive by collecting data through observation and interviews. The results of this study are the implementation of early reading learning based on interactive multimedia by the teacher can increase TPACK competence, especially competence in technology, which impacts the emergence of children’s enthusiasm in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan siswa disabilitas rungu di SLB Autisma Permata Bunda Fase B dalam mengidentifikasi bangun datar. Dua siswa, HM dan DN, kesulitan mengenali bangun datar saat diperlihatkan secara acak, meski sudah hafal urutan bergambar. Dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dan penggunaan media Fun Shape Board, siswa diajak menunjuk, mencocokkan, dan menuliskan  bangun datar. Hasilnya sangat positif, ketuntasan belajar HM meningkat dari 30% menjadi 97%, dan DN dari 40% menjadi 95%. Media ini terbukti efektif membantu siswa memahami dan mengingat bentuk serta nama bangun datar secara lebih baik meskipun tanpa urutan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Fun Shape Board signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan identifikasi bangun datar bagi siswa disabilitas rungu
