Abstract

This research is intended to see the results of the research instrument that has been tested for validity to provide valid intersection data. Therefore, the validity of the contents of the research instrument should be tested before use. CVI, performed with a quantitative descriptive approach, is one of the methods that can be used to test the validity of content. The results showed that the validation of the lift consisting of two elements of content and language had an i-CVI average of 0.87 and the s -CVI was 0.87. The lift was considered appropriate, relevant, and valid based on those values. Regarding the validity of the trigger, the results showed that 13 issues had a high validity criterion with i-CVI 0.67, 29 issues had very high validation criteria with i -CVI more than 1,00, and the s - CVI value was 0.87.

Abstract

Kesulitan siswa tuna rungu kelas II SLB Reformasi Hikmah Padang yang belum mengetahui angka enam sampai sepuluh menjadi pendorong dilakukannya penelitian ini.Salah satu media yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menyampaikan pesan tertentu selama proses pembelajaran adalah media papan pintar. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk meningkatkan kapasitas anak-anak tunarungu di kelas II dalam memahami angka-angka di papan pintar. Jenis penelitian ini dikenal dengan penelitian eksperimen dengan subjek tunggal (SSR). Tes keterampilan pengenalan angka adalah metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Selanjutnya, data diperiksa melalui penggunaan analisis grafis visual, yang mengevaluasi data baik di dalam maupun di antara keadaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tren stabilitas berada pada kisaran stabilitas 3 pada kondisi baseline (A),mean level 20,batas atas 22,batas bawah 18, dan persentase stabilitas 75%.Kisaran stabilitas keadaan intervensi (B) adalah 15, mean level 83, batas atas 89,batas bawah 77,persentase stabilitas 17%.Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa,media papan pintar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan pengenalan angka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah yang dihadapi oleh penyandang disabilitas netra dalam belajar matematika, terutama dalam mengenal braille bilangan asli sampai dengan 20, karena keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang ada. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dikembangkan alat PATOBA yang dirancang untuk membantu pengenalan braille bilangan asli sampai dengan 20 melalui pembelajaran yang melibatkan indera pendengaran dan perabaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development dengan model Borg and Gall dan mencakup lima tahap pengembangan. Produk ini divalidasi oleh tiga ahli yaitu dosen elektronika UNP, dosen ahli disabilitas netra, dan guru pendidik, dan memperoleh skor rata-rata 89%, yang dikategorikan sangat valid. Uji coba praktikalitas pengguna menunjukkan hasil 91%, yang dikategorikan sangat praktis. Saran dan komentar dari validator serta pengguna menunjukkan bahwa PATOBA efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika bagi anak dengan disabilitas netra.

Abstract

Studi pendahuluan dimulai di SLBN 1 Kubung, di mana terdapat seorang siswa laki-laki penderita gangguan spektrum autisme yang berinisial MR. Dia sekarang duduk di kelas satu dan kesulitan melakukan kontak mata. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah menentukan apakah teknik discrete trial training (DTT) dapat menjadikan keterampilan kontak mata pada anak yang menderita gangguan spektrum autisme meningkat. Dalam penelitian ini, metodologi eksperimen single subject research (SSR) yang desain rancangannya A–B. Kondisi baseline (A) adalah kemampuan anak untuk melaksanakan kontak mata pertama kali sebelum mendapatkan perawatan, dan kondisi intervensi (B) adalah kondisi anak yang diobati dengan SSR. Dalam 16 sesi pengumpulan data pada dua kondisi diperoleh baseline (A) sebanyak 5 sesi dan persentase yang dihasilkan adalah 0%, 0%, 10%, 10%, 10%. Kondisi intervensi (B) diterapkan untuk 11 sesi dengan persentase 30%, 40%, 30%, 50%, 50%, 50%, 70%, 70%, 90%, 90%. Penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa teknik DTT dapat menjadikan keterampilan kontak mata pada anak GSA meningkat.

Abstract

This article's goal is to describe the evolution of assistive technology, which includes lidar-based maps for mobility blind navigation. This technology serves as a barrier against the difficulties faced by the blind when doing mobility tasks in areas without easily accessible mobility. The ADDIE development method is used in sensor-based mapping projects that cover analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The development of assistive technology produced a prototype based on lidar sensor technology that was enhanced with a webcam using a Raspberry Phi 4. This map can accurately depict areas and depict nearby obstacles. The device is then outfitted with a webcam camera that uses voice guidance to go to the destination room while reading the QR Code as a direction indicator. The simplified distance units and steps are easily comprehensible for individuals with visual impairments. Based on conducted studies, lidar sensor-based maps have proven to be an excellent tool for blind people requiring interior navigation.

Abstract

Anak dengan Gangguan Spektrum Autisme (GSA) sering mengalami masalah metabolisme yang memerlukan diet khusus Casein Free Gluten Free (CFGF) untuk mengelola gejala seperti gangguan tidur, fokus, dan perilaku agresif. Penerapan diet CFGF sering terhambat oleh faktor anak dan orang tua, termasuk ketidakpatuhan orang tua dan ketersediaan makanan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk  memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi orang tua anak GSA dalam membuat Autic Cookies berbahan dasar Casein Free Gluten Free (CFGF). Kegiatan dilakukan di SLB Autisma YPPA Padang dengan tahapan utama sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Sosialisasi mencakup ceramah dan diskusi mengenai pentingnya diet CFGF, sementara pelatihan melibatkan praktek langsung pembuatan lima jenis cookies CFGF di bawah bimbingan nara sumber PKM Evaluasi dilakukan dengan pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur perubahan pemahaman orang tua serta umpan balik mengenai pelatihan. Sosialisasi meningkatkan pemahaman orang tua tentang diet CFGF, yang diikuti oleh pelatihan praktis yang sukses. Orang tua secara aktif terlibat dalam proses pembuatan cookies,  hasil akhir ditimbang dan dikemas dalam botol jar. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan orang tua tetapi juga memperkuat penerapan diet CFGF, yang diakui sebagai diet penting untuk mendukung keberhasilan intervensi anak GSA.

Abstract

Early Intervention Behavioral Therapy as a method has been shown to aid children diagnosed with Autism in adjusting behavior through Applied Behavior Analysis. While there are three levels of ABA, EIBI does not provide a concrete metric of what separates between the individual levels. The current study focuses on differentiating the electrical patterns found in EEG in children and plans to explore how EIBI can serve across the ABA spectrum. The electrodes F3, F4, C3, C4, P3, P4, O1, and O2 were used to capture the EEG signals and were utilized in estimating the power, spectral density using the Welch method. It was observed during the statistical examination that there existed differences in the results of power across the frequency band amongst the groups. The higher levels of Alpha lead us to believe that there was better emotional management. The chronic group was shown to have more prominent Delta power reflecting weakened control. Comparatively, beginning level’s theta power was found to be higher across all groups showcasing change in attention requiring tasks. Due to greater focus being placed on the lower range frequency activity there existed no noteworthy changes in the Beta and Gamma portions. These findings highlight the role of EIBI in neuromodulation in the Alpha and Delta bands, and its application in the enhancement of emotional and neurological stability. EEG is an effective measure as it quantifies EIBI outcomes. Further studies should examine the long-term effects and enhance curriculum concepts to increase the efficacy of the interventions.

Abstract

Pengukuran Quantitative Electroencephalography (QEEG) adalah metode untuk mempelajari gambaran aktivitas listrik yang terekam di otak secara objektif. Berdasarkan beberapa riset terkait QEEG, gaya belajar ditunjukkan oleh adanya dominansi belahan/bagian otak tertentu yang akan mempengaruhi proses belajar. Guna meningkatkan ketercapaian intervensi EIBI, disusunlah suatu buku sebagai referensi guru dalam melakukan asesmen gaya belajar anak GSA yang mengadopsi pendekatan hasil pengukuran QEEG. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur kesesuaian komponen buku berdasarkan hasil validasi dari tenaga ahli. Komponen validasi buku pedoman ini, meliputi isi, konstruk dan bahasa (keterbacaan) dengan melibatkan tenaga ahli (validator) sebanyak 11 orang Kepala sekolah dan Guru SekolahLuar Biasa melalui proses Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Skala validitas yang digunakan ialah skala likert 5 poin. Poin 5 untuk indikator sangat tepat dan poin 1 untuk indikator sangat tidak tepat. Hasil analisis padaPercentage of Agreement (R) dan Cronbach's Alphauntuk validasi isi, yakni 4,13±0,28 (sangat valid), R=77% dan α = 0,940 (Excellent Reliability). Pada komponen validasi konstruk menunjukkan rerata 4.20 (sangat valid), R=75% dan α = 0,896 (Good Reliability). Lalu, pada validasi bahasa diperoleh 4,23±0,13 (sangat valid), R=75% dan α = 0,967 (Excellent Reliability). Jadi, disimpulkan bahwa buku sangat valid dan dapat diimplementasikan sebagai bahanreferensi asesmen gaya belajar GSA.

Abstract

The background of this research is the less-than-optimal learning process for recognizing number symbols 1-5 at SLB Haropana Hilmi. This study aims to improve the ability to recognize number symbols 1-5 through the use of the number tree media. The method used is classroom action research, consisting of two cycles. Each cycle includes four meetings with stages comprising planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques include observation, performance assessment, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that: (1) The learning process for recognizing number symbols 1-5 improved through the use of the number tree media, and (2) The ability of deaf children to recognize number symbols 1-5 increased. This is evident from the comparison of student scores before and after the intervention. Before the intervention, MF and NS both scored 33%. After the first cycle of intervention, their scores improved to 67%. The study continued to the second cycle to further enhance students' abilities, resulting in final scores of 100% for MF and 89% for NS. It can be concluded that the number tree media can enhance the ability of deaf children to recognize number symbols 1-5.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the ABK-KU application as a digital instrument to support practical, accurate, and sustainable assessment of the development of students with special needs. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE  (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Subjects in this study consisted of three expert validators, 16 teachers for the practicality test, and 36 teachers for the effectiveness test. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using percentages and statistical tests of N-Gain Score and Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The results of validation by material, media, and language experts show that this application has a high level of feasibility of 88.85%. The average percentage of practicality assessment of the ABK-KU Application obtained a percentage of 92% in the very practical category. The results of the pretest and posttest obtained the average N-Gain score of 0.8356 (83.56%), while the results of the Wilcoxon signed-rank test showed that Z count was -5.234 and the significance value was 0.001. These results show that ABK-KU is easy to use by teachers and can present child development data in a structured and systematic manner, and provide program recommendations from the assessment results automatically. ABK-KU is worth using as an alternative innovative solution to support the assessment of the development of students with special needs in special schools.
