Abstract

This research is a development research that develops modules that are used as e-modules using fliphtml and inside the module is inserted cymath which is an application that can help solve linear algebra tasks. It is hoped that from this research students can improve their mathematical literacy skills and can have an interest in learning linear algebra. Mixed method research research that combines qualitative and quantitative research types. The validity of the e-module 4.5 is in the very valid category, the Student Worksheet 4.7 is in the very valid category and the learning achievement test 4.6 is in the very valid category and for the learning outcomes test it is not only tested through a validator but also tested for validity and statistical reliability and shows data valid and reliable. Practical is said to be practical from activity observer data in the teacher's criteria obtained a score of 3.8 and meets good criteria. Effectively it is said that practically from student activity analysis is in good criteria. % of students who gave a positive response. There is an influence on the enthusiasm of students who are taught using e-modufliphtml using the cymath application media

Abstract

The purposes of this study are: 1) To find out the restrictions on the political rights of ex-convicts to participate in the election of Regional Heads 2) To find out the legal consequences of restrictions and revocation of political rights of ex-convicts to be elected in regional head elections.  The type of normative legal research is doctrinal legal research or library research. The results of the researchare: 1) Limiting the political rights of ex-convicts to be elected is contrary to the hierarchy higher regulations. Based on Law No.12 of 2011 concerning the Formation of Legislation and  Invitation and is not in line with the principle (Lex Superior Derogat Legi Inferiori) meaning that the reshould be nolower regulations contrary to higher regulations. 2) Due to the law limiting the political rights of ex-convicts to be elected, it can be canceled through are quest for examination. Judicial review at the Supreme Court based on Law Number 12 of 2011 concerning the Establishment of Legislation, Law Number 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights and Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections

Abstract

Memiliki kemampuan dalam mengatur sitasi dan daftar referensi pada penulisan artikel ilmiah merupakan hal yang sangat penting dan mendasar. Terdapat banyak software manajemen referensi yang dapat digunakan agar kegiatan mengatur, menyimpan dan membuat daftar sumber referensi menjadi sangat mudah, diantaranya yaitu dengan software Endnote dan Zotero. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru-guru SMK Negeri 3 Pangkep untuk bisa menggunakan software manajemen referensi dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah sehingga para guru dapat lebih produktif dalam menulis. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan respon yang positif dari para guru, mereka berpendapat kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat dan menambah pengetahuan yang baru. Apalagi, sebagai pendidik, mereka diharuskan untuk selalu berkarya dan produktif, dalam hal ini software manajemen referensi sangat mempermudah dalam menuliskan sebuah karya ilmiah.

Abstract

The present research aimed at finding out: (1) the forms of code switching used by English teacher in teaching-learning activities; and (2) the reasons of the English teacher for using the code switching in teaching-learning activities. This study employs qualitative research design. The research subject is an English teacher for the 8th grade students at SMP Dirgantara Makassar. The research data were collected by using observation and interview. The data obtained were analyzed by using the procedure proposed by Creswell (2013), consisting of data managing, data organizing, giving a memo, describing, classifying, and data interpretation. From the results of data analysis, it was found that (1) the English teacher used 3 form of code switching in teaching-learning activities: inter-sentential switching, intra-sentential switching, and tag switching. (2) The teacher applied the code switching in teaching-learning activities for 5 reasons: for confirming, for motivating, for introducing unfamiliar vocabularies, for explaining the grammar, and for translating. Generlly, the use of code switching by English teacher in teaching-learning activities has positive implication for students in teaching English as a foreign language.

Abstract

Pelayanan kessehatan yang berkualitas dan proposional menjadi dambaan bagi setiap rakyat Indonesia, oleh karenanya diperlukan komitmen dari pelaksana pemberi layanan khususnya rumah sakit dalam menunjang pelaksanaan program pemerintah melalui kartu Indonesia sehat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apa saja yang menjadi kendala pengguna Kartu Indonesia Sehat dalam pelayanan kesehatan berbasis Kartu Indonesia Sehat dan untuk mengetahui presepsi pasien pemilik Kartu Indonesia Sehat terhadap penggunaannya di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Sayang Rakyat. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif untuk menggambarkan dan menjelaskan fenomena yang terjadi. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa program Kartu Indonesia Sehat masih kurang efektif dikarenakan banyaknya kendala yang dihadapi seperti sosialisasi program yang belum merata, masih ada pasien yang belum mengetahui tentang program Kartu Indonesia Sehat dan kurangnya sosialisasi dari pemerintah ketika mengeluarkan suatu kebijakan sehingga masyarakat banyak kurang mengerti dan tahu kegunaan Kartu Indonesia Sehat Quality and proportional health services are the dream of every Indonesian, therefore commitment is needed from service providers, especially hospitals, in supporting the implementation of government programs through the Indonesia Health Card. The purpose of this research is to find out what are the obstacles for users of the Indonesia Health Card in health services based on the Indonesia Health Card and to find out the perceptions of patients who own the Indonesia Health Card regarding its use at the Sayang Rakyat Regional General Hospital. The approach in this research uses descriptive qualitative to describe and explain the phenomena that occur. The results of this research show that the Healthy Indonesia Card program is still less effective due to the many obstacles faced such as uneven socialization of the program, there are still patients who do not know about the Healthy Indonesia Card program and there is a lack of socialization from the government when issuing a policy so that many people do not understand and know the use of the Healthy Indonesia Card

Abstract

The Principal's strategy is a plan that a leader wants to achieve at school starting from planning, monitoring, and evaluating to achieve the planned goals. Bullying is an aggressive ready that is carried out either individually or in groups where the perpetrator is stronger, which is done by hurting, oppressing which can cause psychological and physical disturbances to a person. The problems studied are: Principal's Strategy in handling Bullying at Islamiyah Bawean High School. problem formulation as follows: 1) How is the form of bullying in SMA Islamiyah Bawean. 2) What are the factors of bullying at Islamiyah Bawean High School. 3) How is the Principal's Strategy in handling Bullying at Islamiyah Bawean High School? The research method used in this research is qualitative method, while the data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/ verification. Data checking uses extended observation, source triangulation, technique triangulation, time triangulation. The results in this study are the forms of bullying that occur at SMA Islamiyah Bawean, namely: verbal and physical where the factors for verbal bullying behavior are due to lack of confidence, physical differences. While the factors that cause physical bully behavior are hitting each other so that one of them feels hurt. The principal's strategy in handling bullying at school is one of them: by providing socialization related to the dangers of bullying, good communication between school residents.

Abstract

The article was to determine the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) based assessment in speaking and reading in English language learning in distance learning system. The method used qualitative research with a field study design. Collecting data through observation and interview. This research was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Makassar with twenty English teachers. The results showed that the HOTS-based assessment in speaking and reading in English language learning within a distance learning system was carried out effectively by the English teachers. However, there were several challenges encountered during implementation, including technological limitations. Distance learning requires a stable internet connection and adequate devices, but not all students have good access to the internet, which can hinder teachers in effectively conducting speaking and reading assessments. Additionally, not all students have sufficient audio or video devices to participate in speaking assessments, which can hinder their ability to practice speaking clearly and listen well. Furthermore, there were challenges in providing direct and individual feedback in distance learning. In speaking assessments, timely and direct feedback is crucial for students to correct mistakes and improve their speaking skills. However, in distance learning, feedback was often given in written form or through recorded videos, which can result in delays and limit students' opportunities for improvement. Abstract

The present research aimed at (1) knowing the implementation of the career information service towards students’ self-sufficiency of selecting careers, and (2) finding the effect of career information service on the self-sufficiency of selecting careers. This study applied quasi-experimental method with 25 students as the participants. It had a hypothesis statement of cause and effect on a sort of changing for comparing two or more groups. Based on the result, the null hypothesis is rejected because it exists the outside limit of the null hypothesis acceptance. In line with that finding, it is concluded that the students’ self-reliance of selecting career before the career information service is given; no students have self-reliance of choosing either a high career or a higher career. This study develops the significant role of career information to facilitate students for choosing careers in their future life.

Abstract

Berbagai masalah kesehatan yang muncul akibat komplikasi DM seperti infeksi kaki yang berisiko amputasi, upaya pencegahan dapat dilakukan melalui pemberian edukasi kesehatan berbasis health promotion yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dalam manajemen DM. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi kesehatan berbasis health promotion tentang pencegahan komplikasi diabetik terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap pasien diabetes melitus. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan metode quasi experiment dengan pendekatan one group dengan pretest – posttest design. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 48 responden dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisa data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap penderita DM setelah dilakukan edukasi kesehatan dengan nilai pengetahuan baik 40 responden (83,3%) dan sikap positif sebanyak 43 responden (89,6%). Hasil uji-wilcoxon test untuk pengetahuan diperoleh nilai ρ=0,000, sedangkan sikap diperoleh nilai ρ=0,000. Kesimpulan dan saran : Terdapat pengaruh edukasi kesehatan berbasis health promotion tentang pencegahan komplikasi diabetik terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap pasien diabetes melitus. Saran penderita diabetes melitus sebaiknya mencegah terjadinya komplikasi berlanjut dengan mengikuti secara aktif edukasi kesehatan yang telah disiapkan oleh instansi kesehatan maupun melalui media edukasi lainnya.

Abstract

The study addresses the gap in understanding high school exchange students' communication challenges in cross-cultural settings, focusing specifically on Indonesian students in the United States. Unlike existing literature that emphasizes higher education students, this research uniquely explores sociocultural adaptation at the high school level, particularly communication barriers that are often overlooked. Using purposive sampling, six high school students who completed a one-year exchange program in the U.S. were interviewed. Semi-structured interviews enabled a thematic analysis grounded in Braun and Clarke's framework, providing a nuanced view of the students' adaptation process. Findings reveal that participants encountered significant culture shock, stemming from differences in punctuality, etiquette, direct communication, and cultural norms such as part-time work, religious observances, and addressing teachers informally. Linguistic barriers, especially around vocabulary and pronunciation, were intensified by psychological factors like anxiety and self-doubt. Furthermore, non-verbal cues such as eye contact and personal space highlighted distinct communication expectations between Indonesian and American cultures. To navigate these challenges, students adopted coping strategies including assimilation of local customs, proactive communication, and community support. This study’s insights have broader implications for enhancing exchange programs by incorporating targeted support systems that address the communication and adaptation needs of younger students, potentially improving intercultural competence and easing the transition for future exchange participant.
