Abstract

Abstract: Implementation of Numbered Head Together (NHT) Co-operative Model to Improve Student's IPS Learning Outcomes in Grade IV SDN 003 Bangkinang Kota. This type of research is classroom action research. This research uses qualitative approach. This study was conducted in two cycles, conducted by collaboration between researchers and teachers. Subjects in this study were students of grade IV SD 003 Bangkinang Kota which amounted to 30 people. The results of the first cycle of the test before the learning average of the students score 5.94 and the final test of students' learning completeness reached 56.7%, while the final test of the second cycle of student learning completeness score increased to 80%. Abstract

The teacher's pedagogic competence is a very important aspect of learning in schools because the teacher is the person who is responsible for preparing and implementing learning for students. Therefore, this research is very important to do, especially to evaluate whether elementary school teachers have sufficient pedagogical competence. This study aims to analyze the pedagogic competence of teachers in elementary schools using the developed assessment instrument. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method, involving 50 teachers from elementary schools in certain areas. The instrument for assessing teacher pedagogic competence used in this study includes four aspects, namely lesson planning, learning implementation, learning evaluation, and professional development. The collected data were then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study show that the majority of teachers in elementary schools have good pedagogical competence. However, several aspects still need to be improved, especially in planning lessons that are more structured and systematic and the ability to provide effective feedback on student learning outcomes. Therefore, it is suggested that teachers develop themselves through training and professional development to improve their pedagogic competence.

Abstract

Education is essential in the process of humanization in a cultured society. The purpose of the research is to find out the problems and also government solutions to improve the quality and equity of education in Indonesia. It is important to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, because this will help improve the quality of human resources, reduce poverty, improve the quality of life, and improve the progress of the country. This article uses the method of literature study, through source sources such as scientific journals, books and trusted websites, expected to produce relevant information and knowledge. The results showed that to improve the quality and equity of education in Indonesia, the government needs to design a comprehensive and integrated plan so that the problem of quality and equity of education can be overcome with various efforts from the government. Abstract

Education is one of the most important aspects of the continuity of human life. The role of school principals in educational institutions is crucial and is connected with implementing various elements in carrying out their duties. Various policies under the control of school principals determine the level of educational quality success, which also depends on the school principal's policies. Problems arise when it is known that several school principals throughout the provinces of Indonesia need more competence. The purpose of this research is to investigate the implementation of school principal competency policies in elementary schools. This article is written using a qualitative approach. The results show that a school principal must fulfil and possess comprehensive skills in competency policies, especially at the elementary school level. The school principal must first understand the job description based on competency standards. Each school has its unique vision and mission compared to other schools. The determination of the vision and mission is adjusted to the school principal's goals in directing the school towards specific areas driven and supported by the surrounding school environment factors. The conclusion drawn from the conducted research is that the school principal's competency policies include social competence, supervision, entrepreneurship, managerial skills, and personality.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to compare the application of education in Indonesia with education in Finland. Education in Indonesia is very far behind compared to education in other countries. Finland as one of the countries with the best education system has become a reference for the implementation of education in countries in the world. In contrast to Indonesia, the comparison of education looks very much different. The research method used is a literature review, where data is collected from various sources such as journals or books that have been analyzed based on existing problems. There are several differences regarding education between the two countries, namely, 1) Indonesian education is more widely used for competency events, whereas Finland prioritizes the principle of equality, 2) there is a class-resident system for students whose abilities are below average and student rankings, Finland does not use a system like this, 3) Indonesia has a weekly study load of +/- 40 hours, Finland studies +/- 30 hours per week, 4) in Indonesia, learning is mostly done in classrooms, while Finland uses problem-solving methods, 5) assignments will always be there every time they meet face to face for students in Indonesia but not for Finland, this country does not burden students to do the task. Abstract

Teacher performance continues to be in the spotlight in the world of education. Expectations for good teacher performance are what the community wants. With good teacher performance, it is hoped that it will produce quality students. This study aims to determine strategies for improving teacher ferformance and the factors that influence it. The study used the study literature method. In this study the results showed that the factors that influence teacher performance are the leadership of the principal, work facilities, evalution and supervision. While the strategy for improving teacher performance is carried out through the application of KASAH : 1) increasing knowledge, 2) increasing ability, 3) increasing skills, 4) increasing self attitude 5) developing habits.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in teacher activity, student activity, and students' understanding of concepts through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach at SDN 005 Gunung Sari. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) and is carried out in class IV-1 with a total of 34 students. Based on the results of data analysis of the teacher activity observation sheet in cycle I (64.77%), it was included in the sufficient category and in cycle II, the teacher's ability continued to increase to (78.40%), namely in the good category, while in cycle III it continued to increase by ( 90.90%), namely in the very good category. The results of observations of student activity in cycle I (63.09%) were in the adequate category and in cycle II student activity increased (77.38%) included in the good category, cycle III it continued to increase by (89.28%)very good category. The results of students' understanding of concepts in cycle I with a percentage value (61.76%) included in the adequate category, in cycle II the average value had increased to (76.02%) including in the good category.cycle III it continued to increase by (87.64%), namely in the very good category and had fulfilled classical completeness

Abstract

Quality education is education that is able to carry out the process of maturing the quality of students which is developed by freeing students from ignorance and inadequacy. With quality education, generations or superior human resources will be born in all aspects of life. Many policies have been carried out by government to improve the quality of education, such as the independent learning policy. Educational institutions are no less lagging behind in improving the quality of education by continuing to improve the quality of human resources and the quality of learning. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, where descriptive research in this case is research that aims to describe the independent learning policy as an effort to improve the quality of education. While the sources taken are from  scientific books that have been published with the intention of being used as reference material. The results of this study show that the implementation of the independent learning policy aims to improve the quality of eeducation through the learning policy aims to improve the quality of education through the learning process, commitment from teachers, as well as creativity and support from school principals

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the competence of homeroom teachers towards the use of audio-visual media for elementary school learning. The research method used is a qualitative method. The type of qualitative research used in this research is descriptive using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study show that the teacher's competency in using learning media is quite good, the teacher utilizes existing learning media such as learning videos from YouTube, but the teacher has not utilized and used learning media in each teaching and learning process, there are times when the teacher only gives assignments during learning.

Abstract

Guru profesional adalah pendidik yang memiliki pemahaman menyeluruh tentang peranannya dan memiliki kesadaran akan tugasnya. Pemahaman yang mendalam tentang peran guru profesional akan membantu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang memfasilitasi kreativitas siswa dalam mengeksplorasi ide-ide baru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis keterampilan profesional guru dalam meningkatkan kreativitas belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka dengan mengumpulkan literatur dari jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan dokumen lain untuk mendukung penjelasan. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam analisis data untuk menyajikan hasil tinjauan penelitian yang relevan. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan profesional guru memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kreativitas belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Meskipun ada tantangan seperti perubahan pola belajar siswa dan tuntutan zaman, namun upaya untuk membuat peningkatan keterampilan profesional guru melalui pendekatan pembelajaran, pelatihan dan pendidikan berkelanjutan, serta pemanfaatan teknologi akan membantu menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang menunjang. Sehingga, diharapkan siswa dapat meraih prestasi yang lebih baik dan siap menghadapi perubahan di dunia yang terus berkembang.
