Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the utilization of learning resources and learning media in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at SDN 1 Pidodowetan in Patebon Subdistrict, Kendal. This research uses a cauldron method. The data source in this research was obtained from principals, teachers, and students in grades I, II, IV and V of SDN 1 Pidodowetan. Data in the form of observations and interviews. The implementation of thematic learning in the 2013 curriculum at SDN 1 Pidodowetan has been running for two years. The use of learning resources and learning media is still not optimal. Teachers are based on teacher and student books and other reference books. Learning becomes less meaningful because teachers do not prepare creative learning tailored to student development. The learning process is still teacher-centered so that students are still the object of education. Students are more interested in learning by using learning media that makes students actively participate.

Abstract

Students experience errors in the mastery of concepts, including incomplete writing solutions and students' inability to remember concepts. Students do not write the concepts used in solving FPB and KPK questions. This study aimed to analyze the types of misconceptions and causes of misconceptions in FPB and KPK material for grade IV students. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach, with the research subject being fourth-grade elementary school students. Types of data collection used are written tests, interviews, and documentation. The analysis results regarding the misconceptions that occur in FPB and KPK material for fourth-grade elementary school students state that students experience translation misconceptions, sign misconceptions, arithmetic misconceptions, and systematic concept misconceptions, and operation misconceptions. The causes of misconceptions are due to factors from students related to interest in learning because they already think that mathematics is a complicated subject, factors from teachers who do not provide in-depth explanations related to FPB and KPK material, conditions or situations in the classroom that cause the subject to be unable to concentrate and pay attention to the teacher when giving explanations about FPB and KPK material, students' understanding of the FPB and KPK material is still low and wrong preconceptions. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the types of misconceptions that occur in grade IV students are translation misconceptions, sign misconceptions, arithmetic misconceptions, systematic misconceptions, concept misconceptions, and operation misconceptions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketercapaian kompetensi kognitif siswa khususnya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Jawa materi tembang. Ketercapaian kompetensi kognitif menjadi bagian penting dan perlu diperhatikan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas IV SDN Sambiroto 01 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, tes tertulis berupa soal isian singkat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rata-rata pencapaian kompetensi kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran tembang secara keseluruhan mencapai 85% dengan rata-rata pencapaian tertinggi berada pada domain memahami dan rata pencapaian terendah berada pada domain menganalisis. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas IV SDN Sambiroto 01 memiliki kemampuan kognitif yang baik pada materi tembang. Kata kunci: Bahasa Jawa, Tembang, Kognitif

Abstract

The vast advancement of technology further encourages the concept of independent learning for every individual in improving their skill in English literary criticism outside the formal education. This study aims at developing and identifying the feasibility of android-based English Multimedia in improving the skill of literary criticism. This research applies ADDIE development model that consists of five stages. The data collecting technique used involves observation, interview, questionnaire, and scale. The data analysis is carried out in the form of qualitative data analysis that is converted into several criteria. The findings present that there is a demand among English tutors and the members of English Community on the development of android-based English Multimedia. The media proposed is deemed valid by material and media experts as it earns the score of 87 and 86 with the category of very feasible. Therefore, in the attempt of improving the skill of literary criticism, android-based English Multimedia can be utilized outside the formal education. The development of technology-based media in the learning of literary criticism is the form of learning media innovation for non-formal education as adjusted to the current development in the digital literary era. The effectiveness of android-based English multimedia can be identified in the upcoming research as the basis in developing media for improving other skills in non-formal education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the problem-solving ability in solving math's word problems on mixed arithmetic operations in grade 2 of elementary school level. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. The subject of this study consisted of 22 students, then 6 students were taken to be interviewed with the criteria: 2 high abilities; 2 moderate abilities; and 2 low abilities. In this study, researchers also used several methods to collect data: tests, interviews, and documentation. The validity test was done by using the triangulation technique. The result of this research was analyzed using Polya's problem-solving indicator with a percentage of 55.98% in the "fair" category. These are the following details: (1) The problem understanding indicator with a percentage of 79.39% for the "good" category.  (2) The indicator of problem-solving planning with a percentage of 74.54% for the "good" category. (3) The carry out problem-solving indicator with a percentage of 45.45% for the "fair" category. (4) The look back of problem-solving indicator with a percentage of 24.54% for the “poor” category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the misconceptions of arithmetic operations material on fractions of grade V elementary school students. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The data source consisted of 26 students, then 6 students were taken to be interviewed based on the test scores obtained. Data collection methods used by researchers were tests, interviews and questionnaires. The data validity test was done by using triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique in this study uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained were 19 students (73%) experienced misconceptions. Meanwhile, students who did not experience misconceptions about arithmetic operations on fractions were 7 students (27%). The dominant misconception is generalization misconception, followed by calculation misconception and notation misconception

Abstract

The encouraging background of this research is the learning process that still tends to make students bored. Lessons that do not attract the attention of students, lessons that have not used thematic media, and learning atmosphere that seemed less fun. This type of research is research and development by Borg And Gall. Subjects in this study were all students of grade IV SD Negeri 08 Tanjungrejo Kudus and SD Negeri 03 Klaling Kudus academic year 2016/2017. Subjects as many as 33 students. Data in this study were obtained through interviews, questionnaires (questionnaire analysis of student needs, questionnaire of teacher needs analysis, student response questionnaire, questionnaire validation of media and material experts and scientific approach questionnaire), observation and documentation. From the assessment by media expert validation and material 1, the percentage of 88.23% and 87.50% of the results obtained by the media expert and material 2 obtained 98.5% percentage and 98.43% of the results by media experts and material 3 obtained percentage 92,64% dan 93,75 and the final result of assessment from material expert 4 obtained by percentage 85,93% while questionnaire of student response get percentage 97,43% in SD N 08 Tanjungrejo and 98,75% in SD N 03 Klaling and also scientific questioner Approach is obtained percentage of 90,38% in SD N 08 Tanjungrejo and equal to 97,00% in SD N 03 Klaling. The conclusion is the thematic media is worthy of use and can be used as a supporter of the scientific approach on the theme of Beautiful Affairs Negeriku fourth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) Bagaimanakah tingkat berpikir kreatif siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi yang berorientasi kewirausahaan? 2) Bagaimanakah minat wirausaha siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi yang berorientasi kewirausahaan??é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á?é?á 3) Bagaimanakah hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi yang berorientasi kewirausahaan? Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) tingkat berpikir kreatif siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi yang berorientasi kewirausahaan, 2) minat berwirausaha siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi yang berorientasi kewirausahaan, 3) hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi yang berorientasi kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang diawali dengan kegiatan studi pendahuluan, dilanjutkan dengan tahapan pengembangan dan yang terakhir adalah pengujian. Subjek yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas XI-C tahun ajaran 2010/2011 SMK Yayasan Pharmasi Semarang. Variabel penelitan yaitu minat wirausaha, berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat yang telah dikembangkan dan divalidasi oleh pakar dinyatakan valid dengan skor 44, selain itu minat berwirausaha siswa dalam pembelajaran berorientasi kewirausahaan mengalami peningkatan 5%. Berpikir kreatif siswa mengalami peningkatan 4,7%. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan 15,8. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berorientasi kewirausahaan mampu meningkatkan minat berwirausaha, berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar siswa. Karakteristik perangkat yang dikembangkan adalah menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual dengan metode observasi untuk mengeksplorasi, penugasan membuat produk dengan bahan dasar limbah beserta perhitungan usahanya dan galery walk untuk melatih kemampuan memaparkan serta menginformasikan produk yang dihasilkan. Abstract

Abstract: This community service was carried out in form of training for the society in Tlogosari Wetan, Semarang. It was held in the hall of Tlogosari wetan centre. In this training, the participants were given some materials relating to how to get money by making products from all parts of banana trees. The methods which were used in this community service were explaining and question and answer. All the participants were excited and did not go anywhere till the training was over. They asked many questions on how to make products from banana, banana leaves, etc. The result of this training shows that the participants are getting interested in making products from banana trees to increase their income Key words: banana, banana trees, income ?é?á Abstrak: kegiatan IbM ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan bagi masyarakat di tlogosari wetan, semarang. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di aula kelurahan tlogosari wetan. Para peserta yang hadir diberikan materi-materi yang berkaitan dengan pemanfaatan pohon pisang untuk menjadi produk-produk yang bisa dipasarkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah penjelasa, dan tanya jawab. Semua peserta sangat tertarik dalam kegiatan ini sehingga acara ini tetap berlangsung dengan baik hingga akhir acara. Para peserta memberikan banyak pertanyaan-pertanyaan tentang bagaimana membuat produk olahan dari pisang, daun pisang dan bahkan dari pohonya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukan bahwa semua peserta sangat tertarik untuk memulai membuat produk-produk olahan dari pisang dan pohonya untuk meningkatkan pendapatan mereka. ?é?á Kata kunci: pisang, pohon pisang, pendapatan

Abstract

ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE COURSES BASED ON BIOEDUTAINMENT ?é?á ABSTRACT The environment science courses at Biology Education Department used for graduation purposes. ?é?áMeanwhile, affective and psychomotor aspects still lacking on the learning outcomes of environment science. Bioedutainment as innovative learning strategies solution needed ?é?áfor it. This research used One-Shot Case Study design. The results were obtained from the average value of the activities students sheets and post test. Classical outcomes percentage got 93% in E class, 95% at B class, and 100% for A class. The number of students which did not complete were 5 students. Learning activity percentage got medium and high categories at first and second meeting, consist of 87.5% and 92.5% for E class, 82.5% and 85% at B class, and 94.8% and 92.3% in A class. In addition, the lecturer performance percentage got 80% at the first meeting and 100% at the second meeting. The appreciate of students for this learning got 85.7%. The patner lecturer interested in bioedutainment strategies. In conclusion, the learning outcomes of bioedutainment strategies for environtment science had the success criteria. ?é?á Keywords : bioedutainment, environment science courses. ?é?á ABSTRAK Pembelajaran pengetahuan lingkungan saat ini masih dianggap mahasiswa sebagai pemenuhan tuntutan dalam sistem kredit semester yang harus ditempuh di prodi pendidikan biologi untuk tujuan kelulusan. Sedangkan segi afektif dan psikomotor masih sangat kurang dicapai pada hasil pembelajaran. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan inovasi strategi pembelajaran. Salah satunya dengan strategi pembelajaran berbasis bioedutainment. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan The One-Shot Case Study. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai LKM dan post test dengan menerapkan strategi bioedutainment, pada kelas II E ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 93%, pada kelas II B dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 95% sedangkan pada kelas II A dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 100%. Jumlah mahasiswa yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 5 mahasiswa. Prosentase keaktifan mahasiswa memperoleh hasil pada kategori sedang dan tinggi pada pertemuan pertama dan kedua yakni; kelas II E sebesar 87,5% dan 92,5%, pada kelas II B sebesar 82,5% dan 85%, dan pada kelas II A sebesar 94,8% dan 92,3%. Prosentas indikator kineja dosen mencapai 80% pada pertemuan pertama dan mencapai 100% pada pertemuan kedua. Mahasiswa yang menyatakan senang dan tertarik dengan pembelajaran yang dilakukan pada ketiga kelas mencapai 85,7%. Dosen mitra menyatakan terkesan dan tertarik dengan pembelajaran menggunakan strategi bioedutainment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar mahasiswa telah memenuhi kriteria indikator keberhasilan pembelajaran dan mahasiswa menjadi aktif dalam proses pembelajaran materi pengelolaan lingkungan yang diterapkan dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran berbasis bioedutainment. ?é?á Kata Kunci: bioedutainment, pengelolaan lingkungan.
