Abstract

This study aims to analyze static balance in students of SDN 004 Samarinda Ilir. Static balance is the ability to maintain a stable body position while standing or standing still. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. Determination of the subject of this study using saturated sampling method by involving all grade 2 students at SDN 004 Samarinda Ilir, namely 30 students. Measurement of static balance using the stork stand test. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the ability of static balance in grade 2 students of SDN 004 Samarinda Ilir has a good static balance, namely 70% with an average duration of 20 seconds and there are 30% of students who get a shorter duration with an average of 13 seconds so that it falls into the category of less. So it can be concluded that the ability of static balance in grade 2 students at SDN 004 Samarinda Ilir is in the good category.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the fine motor skills of kindergarten children through montage activities. The method used in this study is pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study were children aged 5–6 years. The study involved all children, consisting of 8 children. In this study, all children participated in the pre-test to determine the initial condition of fine motor skills, then were given treatment using montage activities. A post-test was conducted to determine the final condition of the children before and after being given treatment. The data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and tests. The data obtained is in the form of scores and is then processed using statistical methods. The data analysis techniques used in this research are the normality test and the t-test. It is proven that montage activities affect children's fine motor skills based on the paired sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05.

Abstract

The campus teaching program is a form of program to build collaboration between students and teachers to support the educational process in schools. This service method is a qualitative approach. The location for community service was carried out at SDN 028 Balikpapan Tengah, participants in this activity included students and teachers. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of community service through the contribution of the 6th class of teaching campus students explained that the implementation of the program for implementing numeracy literacy included: integration of literacy, numeracy and technology adaptation (SI 3), literacy and numeracy classes, cognitive and non-cognitive assessments, adaptation technology with the theme "opening the door to the digital world", a library program with the theme "gateway to knowledge adventure", learning outside the classroom and media can improve students' literacy skills, there is an increase of 8% and numeracy has increased by 14%. So it can be concluded that the contribution of campus students to teaching can improve students' numeracy literacy at SDN 028 Balikpapan Tengah.

Abstract

Pengembangan e-modul interaktif berbasis flipbook untuk materi pembelajaran bola voli di SMP bertujuan untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang aktif, interaktif, menarik, dan mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), pendekatan sistematis dan berorientasi pada hasil untuk pengembangan media pembelajaran yang efektif. Tahap analisis melibatkan penilaian kebutuhan pembelajaran di sekolah menengah pertama, khususnya untuk materi bola voli, dengan mempertimbangkan karakteristik siswa, tujuan pembelajaran, kompetensi yang diharapkan selaras dengan Kurikulum Nasional, dan sumber daya yang tersedia. Fase esain berfokus pada konseptualisasi dan perancangan e-modul berbasis flipbook awal, termasuk pemilihan material, struktur konten, desain visual, dan integrasi elemen interaktif. Fase pengembangan melibatkan pembuatan prototipe e-modul yang dirancang menggunakan flipbook dan perangkat lunak multimedia, menggabungkan fitur interaktif seperti video dan kuis. Implementasi melibatkan penerapan e-modul yang dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah menengah pertama, termasuk pelatihan dan pemantauan pengguna. Evaluasi dilakukan pada setiap tahap untuk menilai efektivitas e-modul dalam mendukung pembelajaran. Penilaian akhir oleh validator menghasilkan skor rata-rata 4,3 dan persentase 87%, mengkategorikan e-modul yang dikembangkan sebagai sangat layak. Uji coba skala kecil dan skala besar yang masing-masing melibatkan 15 dan 30 siswa, menghasilkan skor rata-rata 4,6 (92%) dan 4,5 (90%), menunjukkan bahwa e-modul sangat cocok untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dan untuk memahami konsep bola voli.

Abstract

Physical activity has been recognized as an important factor in improving students' cognitive function and academic achievement. However, there is uncertainty regarding the type and intensity of physical activity that is most effective in the educational context. This study aims to analyze the relationship between physical activity, cognitive function, and academic achievement through a meta-analysis approach, and to identify moderating factors that influence the relationship. This study used a meta-analysis method by collecting data from studies published in peer-reviewed journals. The data collection process followed the PRISMA guidelines, and the analysis was conducted using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) to evaluate heterogeneity and moderation effects. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between physical activity and improvements in cognitive function and academic achievement. Moderate to high-intensity aerobic activity was shown to be more effective than light activity. The findings also showed that elementary school-aged children gained greater cognitive benefits than students at higher levels of education. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating physical activity into the educational curriculum to improve academic outcomes. These findings make a significant contribution to the development of evidence-based educational policies and support more interactive teaching practices.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara berkembang yang saat ini sedang giat-giatnya melaksanakan pembangunan di segala bidang. Salah satu bidang yang tidak kalah penting adalah pembangunan dalam bidang olahraga sesuai arahan dari bapak presiden tentang desain bersar olahraga Indonesia menuju Indonesia emas 2045, Olahraga kini telah mengalami kemajuan yang sangat pesat dimana saat ini olahraga telah memasuki semua aspek kehidupan seperti industri, perekonomian, pendidikan dan lain sebagainya. Hal ini sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia No.3 Tahun 2005 Tentang Sistem Keolahragaan Nasional Pasal 4 yang menyatakan bahwa keolahragaan nasional bertujuan untuk memelihara dan meningkatkan kesegaran dan kebugaran jasmani, prestasi, kualitas manusia, menanamkan nilai moral dan akhlak mulia, sportivitas, disiplin, mempererat dan membina persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa, memperkokoh ketahanan nasional, serta mengangkat harkat, martabat, dan kehormatan bangsa. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan pada hari senin tanggal 1 smpai 5 Desember 2021 di grand sawit hotel Balikpapan Kalimantan timur. Peserta pelatihan ini berjumlah 40 orang. Pelatihan ini melibatkan 3 narasumber, Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian tersebut adalah metode presentasi atau ceramah dan praktek, Adapun alur metode yang digunakan mempersentasikan materi penanganan cidera pada olahraga dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia bagi pelatih kempo Kalimantan timur. Cedera Olahraga adalah cedera pada sistem otot dan rangka tubuh yang disebabkan oleh kegiatan olah raga. Cedera Olahraga adalah rasa sakit yang ditimbulkan karena olahraga, sehingga dapat menimbulkan cacat, luka dan rusak pada otot atau sendi serta bagian lain dari tubuh. Cedera olahraga jika tidak ditangani dengan cepat dan benar dapat mengakibatkan gangguan atau keterbatasan fisik. Bahkan bagi atlit cedera ini bisa berarti istirahat yang cukup lama dan mungkin harus meninggalkan sama sekali hobi dan profesinya. Oleh sebab itu dalam penaganan cedera olahraga harus dilakukan secara tim yang multidisipliner.

Abstract

The Professional Teacher Education program is designed as a systematic effort to improve teacher quality by integrating educational theory, pedagogical skills and practical experience. This study analyzes the role of professional teacher education in improving the quality of learning in secondary schools. Professional teacher education is designed to equip educators with pedagogical knowledge, practical skills and a deep understanding of the subject matter, which encourages a comprehensive approach to teaching. This research uses qualitative methods, the main data of the research is obtained through literature study and document analysis from various trusted sources. These sources include scientific journals, books, government policy reports and relevant previous research. The research findings show that professional teacher education significantly contributes to improved learning outcomes by enabling teachers to adopt innovative teaching strategies, utilize modern educational technology and create inclusive learning environments. In addition, the programs also enhance teachers' ability to meet the needs of diverse students and foster critical thinking skills among students. The study concludes that continued investment in professional teacher education is critical to improving the quality of education in secondary schools and achieving long-term education goals. The implication of the implementation of Professional Teacher Education (PPG) is critical to improving the quality of education in secondary schools. The program requires curriculum development that is adaptive to the needs of the digital era, with a focus on mastering educational technology and innovative learning approaches.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the body mass index on the level of physical fitness of PGSD students at Mulawarman University. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using anthropometric tests and physical fitness tests. The sample of this study was PGSD students class of 2022 totaling 160 people, who were taken by cluster sampling technique. The results of the research data analysis show that 3.7% of students have a very low BMI, 21.9% of students have a thin BMI, 54.4% of students have a normal BMI, 18.1% of students have a fat BMI, and 1.9% of students have an obese BMI. Next, the level of physical fitness obtained by PGSD students was 3.1% in the very good classification, 11.9% in the good classification, 25% in the moderate classification, 51.9% in the less classification, 7.5% in the very less classification. So it can be concluded that overall the average body mass index on the level of physical fitness of PGSD students class of 2022 Mulawarman University is in the low category.

Abstract

The degree to which learning outcomes are attained during the teaching and learning process is demonstrated by the condition of learning effectiveness. Online learning uses the internet network to facilitate learning without requiring students and teachers to interact face-to-face. According to the research findings, there was little difference in the learning outcomes of students before and during the epidemic. This demonstrates that studying through WhatsApp and Google Classroom is thought to be highly successful. Learning both in person and online is a topic that is frequently debated. not just with pupils but also with parents. A lot of people search for the best learning experience by comparing the two learning systems. While some believe that face-to-face communication is superior, others believe that online communication is superior. It's critical to understand the benefits and drawbacks of each approach since they each have unique advantages and downsides. The literature study method is being used in this investigation. Definitions of online and in-person learning, benefits of both types of learning, and distinctions and parallels between online and in-person teaching approaches are all covered in this study.

Abstract

Technology in education is a system used to support learning to produce desired targets. Indonesian technology implementation states that technology can be used as a learning intermediary, management tool and learning resource. The development of science and technology has had a positive influence on increasing openness and the spread of knowledge across space and time on a global scale. The teacher is the only source of learning for students. In this educational interaction pattern, the class teacher dominates teaching and learning activities. This teaching pattern does not or does not provide opportunities for the use of technology in teaching. Books, blackboards, teaching media, libraries have not played a role in the teaching and learning process. Such teaching patterns do not provide space for the development of technology in teaching. In facing improvements in the quality of education in the digital era, the role of teachers is very much needed. However, in practice, teachers face several challenges in the world of education in the digital era, such as: developments in technology and information have an impact on the increasingly rapid development of science.
