Abstract

Creative thinking and critical thinking are one of the thinking skills that are often studied and developed to optimize thinking abilities. The initial basis of initial abilities is imagination. However, many people interpret the meaning of imagination as an unscientific fantasy. Using the literature review method, it was found that there is an ability that every human being has, including elementary school children, namely imagination. Creative imagination as a whole can be interpreted as an attempt to prove something about a person by taking several forms of existing goals, not only for the creator himself but also for other people. (RIBOT, 1906). We detail this effort to prove as a series of thought processes at the stages of having new ideas, flexibility, authenticity, expressing opinions, evaluating arguments, new ideas and making conclusions. This process combines critical thinking and creative thinking skills with rearranging indicators as needed. Humans cannot only use creative thinking skills or critical skills, everything goes hand in hand to create ideas and conclusions.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine and analyze students' critical thinking skills in learning economics. This research is a quantitative research. The method applied in this research is descriptive by collecting data through a questionnaire containing essay questions that have been adjusted to the indicators of critical thinking. The population in this study were students of SMA KHZ Musthafa Sukamanah Tasikmalaya class XI from the science and social studies department with 90 respondents using the Taro Yamane formula. The data collected is then processed. The results of the analysis prove that the students' critical thinking skills fall into the low category. This means that it needs special attention from the teacher so that students' critical thinking skills are better. The results of this study have an implication that the critical thinking skills of students at SMA KHZ Musthafa Sukamanah Tasikmalaya are still low, as evidenced by the average value of critical thinking skills of 40, so that efforts are needed to overcome these problems. Keywords: 21st century skills, Critical thinking skills, Economics subject.

Abstract

A product strategy or product strategy is a plan that identifies the aims and objectives of a product and then describes a vision for achieving these goals. It helps link the project's vision to the actual methods used to implement it. A product strategy maps out the critical benchmarks against the creation, marketing, and distribution of any concept you plan to sell. They also provide a central plan that people can refer to guide their efforts and refine their overall business strategy. The food business is a potential business at this time. Factors that need to be considered in facing competition in the restaurant business include product and price. If these two factors are getting better and more attractive, it can make customers feel satisfied. If customers are satisfied, they will be loyal to the restaurant. This study aimed to determine the effect of the performance of the production strategy on brand royalties in companies and restaurants

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the existing literature on the factors that influence the investment decisions made by individual investors. The employed methodology is a systematic literature review conducted using the PRISMA approach. The choice of Scopus as the information source was based on its status as the largest and well reputable scientific database. We obtained data from internet databases that contain extensive collections of scholarly studies, journal articles, and conference papers. These resources are written in English and are readily available to the authors. Using a predetermined string, 275 articles were extracted from Scopus. Ultimately, 137 papers were found to fit the criteria for analysis in discussing the factors that determine investing decisions for individual investors. The result show that there are five main determinant of investment decision for individual investor: Financial literacy, emotional biases, gender, generation y and long-term orientation. The implications of this study will be discussed later.

Abstract

Purpose this research is aimed at building a hypothetical model regarding the influence of competency level, job satisfaction level, strength of employer branding and employee engagement on the performance level of midwives in Tasikmalaya City. The results of the research can be applied by the Health Service to achieve increased performance of midwife health workers in order to fulfill one of the people's basic rights, namely the right to obtain maximum health services. Theoretical  Framework: In this research, organizational behavior is used as a grand theory. Robbins (2022) revealed that organizational behavior is the study of what people do in an organization and how their behavior affects organizational performance. Organizational behavior specifically pays attention to situations related to work, so that organizational behavior emphasizes behavior related to problems such as work, absenteeism, job turnover, productivity, human performance, and management. The research method used is an explanatory survey approach to explain the relationship between variables through hypothesis testing in the field. Research that uses descriptive surveys and explanatory survey methods is carried out by collecting information from samples directly at the scene of the incident (empirical) through questionnaires with the aim of finding out the opinions of the samples regarding the research problem. And this research uses the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling analysis technique (PLS-SEM), to model many variables in research. Originality/Value: The Health Service to achieve increased performance of midwife health workers in order to fulfill one of the people's basic rights, namely the right to obtain maximum health services. that the performance that has been carried out by the midwives is in accordance with the number of activity cycles that must be completed and in accordance with the SOP at the relevant agency. Meanwhile, the lowest index is in the work quality indicator dimension in item 2 regarding the level of work results based on employee skills in completing work and employee skills in carrying out tasks assigned to them with a percentage score of 69.59. This shows a lack of skills, knowledge and the workload given makes the work results given by midwives less than optimal

Abstract

Critical thinking is vital for academic and professional success in the 21st century. However, many students, particularly in Indonesia, face difficulties in developing higher-order thinking skills. This challenge necessitates effective instructional strategies that promote critical thinking in educational environments. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA protocol to identify and evaluate constructivist learning models that support critical thinking development. A total of 30 empirical studies published between 2015 and 2024 were selected through systematic identification, screening, and inclusion processes. Thematic analysis was conducted to extract insights on the implementation and effectiveness of five constructivist approaches: Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL), Collaborative Learning (CL), and Discovery Learning (DL). Findings indicate that all five models significantly enhance students’ critical thinking skills. PBL and PjBL were the most frequently studied and demonstrated strong outcomes in problem-solving, analysis, and collaboration. IBL and DL promoted curiosity and autonomous learning, while CL was effective in fostering group discussion and collective problem-solving. Constructivist learning models offer substantial benefits in cultivating critical thinking. However, their effectiveness relies heavily on factors such as institutional support, teacher preparedness, and cultural context. Constructivist approaches are effective pedagogical tools for enhancing critical thinking. Future studies should further investigate model-specific challenges and explore their adaptation in varied educational contexts.

Abstract

Young retail investors in the Indonesian capital market often face challenges due to various behavioral finance biases that can negatively impact their investment decisions. This study aims to examine the impact of herding, overconfidence, mental accounting, loss aversion, and bias on the investment decisions of novice retail investors, focusing on the moderating role of demographic factors such as generation, gender, education, and income. Using a quantitative design, data were collected through a structured questionnaire from 254 retail investors, with 246 valid responses analyzed through a regression-based method and moderation analysis using Hayes' PROCESS macro for SPSS. The results indicate that all behavioral finance factors negatively impact investment decisions, with demographic variables significantly moderating this impact. The findings suggest that tailored financial education and advisory services can help young novice investors make more informed and rational investment choices, thereby improving their financial well-being and market participation. The limitations of this study lie in its focus on a specific demographic in Indonesia, while its novelty includes a detailed analysis of the moderating impact of demographics on behavioral finance biases.
