Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the impact of career development and employee engagement on employee performance, either separately or simultaneously. The survey methods used in this study are descriptive and explanatory. The research was carried out on 87 employees PT Indonesia Pos (Persero). The saturated sampling technique was used for sampling. Multiple Regression Analysis was used to analyze the data. According to the study's findings, career development and employee engagement have a combined or partial impact on employee performance. Furthermore, the determinant value is 0.800, indicating that career development and employee engagement can account for 80% of employee performance. Other factors accounted for 20% of the variance. Abstract

Penelitian ini menggabungkan Innovation Diffusion Theory (IDT) dan Trust Building Model Theory , variabel compatibility atau kesesuaian dan reputation atau reputasi digunakan untuk mengukur niat dan aktual penggunaan pembayaran seluler yang ada di Indonesia. Hasil uji deskriptif menyatakan bahwa OVO, Go-Pay dan Dana menjadi tiga besar pilihan aplikasi para responden yang diteliti. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Sample yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 143 responden yang didapatkan  dari berbagai kalangan. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan dengan instrumen angket dan pengukuran menggunakan  skala semantic deferensial. Pendekatan analisis jalur yang diolah dengan persamaan model struktural menggunakan Lisrel 8.7. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa compatibility suatu aplikasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat dan aktual penggunaan pembayaran seluler sedangkan reputation  dari aplikasi yang digunakan  tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap niat dan aktual penggunaan pembayaran seluler. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa aplikasi yang sesuai dan cocok dengan kebutuhan konsumen akan selalu menjadi produk yang dipilih.

Abstract

Background - Job satisfaction is a happy emotional state or positive emotion that comes from evaluating one's work or experience. With high job satisfaction will increase employee performance against the organization where they work. Lack of satisfaction with the company can lead to low employee performance. In this study related to job satisfaction of BSI Bandung Branch employees. Aim - The aims of this study were to identify and analyze the influence of spiritual leadership and psychological contracts on employee job satisfaction at BSI Bandung Branch. Design / Methodology / Approach – This study used descriptive and explanatory survey methods. The research was conducted on 90 BSI employees. Sampling was carried out using a saturated sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is Multiple Regression Analysis. Findings – The results of this study show that spiritual leadership and psychological contracts partially or jointly have an impact on employee job satisfaction. Furthermore, a determinant value of 0.938 was obtained, this means that spiritual leadership and psychological contracts are able to explain employee job satisfaction of 93.8%. Meanwhile, 6.2% was caused by other factors. Conclusion - The leadership of the BSI Bandung Branch must be able to implement spiritual leadership for employees and build a strong psychological contract for employees within the company. Job satisfaction needs to be improved again to improve organizational performance. Research implication - To increase employee job satisfaction, it is necessary to pay attention to the attitudes and behavior of leadership shown by leaders to employees besides strengthening the psychological contract between employees and the organization. Limitation - The scope of this research is limited to one particular company, so it does not reflect the situation of other institutions in the same study regarding spiritual leadership, psychological contract, job satisfaction

Abstract

The process of improving service productivity in the hotel industry is of course caused by several fundamentally important factors, including corporate culture and employee human resources factors. A good organizational culture should have the core characteristics of being firmly supported, well-managed, and shared as a whole. Problems commonly faced by employees are related to how to proactively adapt to the company culture so that conflicts do not occur. The research instrument was a questionnaire distributed to 192 hotel employees in West Java, Indonesia. This research aims to conclude whether human capital can mediate the influence of service culture by increasing company performance. The research method used is a simple regression analysis using SPSS and Amos as a calculation tool. The results show that human capital can mediate the influence between service culture and increased company performance in the hotel industry.

Abstract

The taklim assembly is one of the religious activities carried out in the community. The existence of the taklim assembly is essential in instilling religious values ​​into the community during the moral decline that is currently an issue. In addition, with the taklim assembly, the community can also interact with one another. Therefore, this religious activity of the taklim assembly can also be used as a learning resource in social studies, which aims to make it easier for educators to provide contextual examples to students. So this study describes the religious activities of the taklim assembly as a source of social studies learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, presentation, member checks, and triangulation. The results of the study describe that the religious activities of the taklim assembly can be used as a learning resource on social studies because, in this case, the environment is also a necessity in obtaining information in knowing something, so that the environment can be used as a learning resource on social studies for students.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery Learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial (IPS) kelas VIII MTs Ash-shiddiqiyyah Cempaka. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen, populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa MTs Ash-shiddiqiyyah Cempaka yang berjumlah 320 orang dengan sampel 60 orang siswa yaitu 30 siswa kelompok kontrol yang diterapkan pada kelas VIII dan 30 siswa di kelompok eksperimen yang diterapkan pada kelas VII. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh dari model pembelajaran Discovery Learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di MTs Ash-shiddiqiyyah Cempaka.kelompok kontrol mencapai kategori rendah dan hasil belajar siswa kelompok eksperimen mencapai nilai rata-rata kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok eksperimen, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran Discovery Learning memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa di MTs Ash-shiddiqiyyah Cempaka Kecamatan Plumbon Kabupaten Cirebon.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence and description of Islamic ethical behavior and customer satisfaction on customer trust at the Daarut Tauhiid Islamic Boarding School (PPM DT) students in Bandung. This study uses a descriptive and verification method with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 200 respondents who were PPM DT students who had participated in the program for 1 year (PPM), 2 years (PPML) or less. The data was processed statistically with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results show that the variable Islamic ethical behavior has an indirect and significant effect on customer trust, customer satisfaction has a direct and significant effect on customer trust and Islamic ethical behavior has a direct and significant effect on customer satisfaction. These findings indicate that the application of good Islamic ethical behavior in student boarding schools will encourage customer trust through customer satisfaction for the students of the Daarut Tauhiid Islamic Boarding School Program in Bandung.

Abstract

Distance learning carried out in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic allowed learning loss to occur due to the ineffectiveness of the implementation of learning. In this regard, students need to be provided with relevant competencies, one of which is social-creativepreneurship competency through Social Studies learning. This study is intended to investigate teachers perception about the urgency of the integration social-creativepreneurship competency in Social Studies learning during the Covid-19 pandemic as life skills for students. The method used is descriptive survey using an open questionnaire in google form format. The research respondents obtained were 68 Social Studies teachers at Junior High Schools in Yogyakarta. The data collected were analyzed descriptively. The findings are: 1) 81% teachers stated that the social-creativepreneurship competency is “urgent” to integrate in Social Studies learning, and 19% stated that “very urgent”; 2) 86% of teachers expressed interest in integrating social-creativepreneurship competencies in Social Studies learning, 10.29% were very interested, and 2.95% were quite interested; 3) social-creativepreneurship competency can be integrated into sub-themes: economic activities, markets and inter-regional and inter-island trade, as well as creative economy and international trade carried out using demonstration, observation, selling project, role playing, interview, and social problem solving based learning.

Abstract

Financial Statement has a role to provide the information about the condition of the company. For the banking institution, the financial statement serve the information about the Non Performing Loan and Loan to Depositi Ratio as the measure of the rsik in banking industry. The aim of this study was to examine the effect of NPL (Non-Performing Loan) and LDR (Loan-to-Deposit Ratio) on profit growth in 10 bank companies during a 5-year research period. The study utilized quantitative data by using non probability sampling with random tehnique, utilizing the SPSS 21 program. The results revealed that NPL and LDR had a negative impact on profit growth. In other words, the higher the levels of NPL and LDR, the lower the profit growth will be. In conclusion, it is important for bank companies to pay attention to the level of NPL and LDR to enhance profit growth

Abstract

Kewajiban belajar di rumah melalui aplikasi tertentu ataupun pembelajaran daringmerupakan contoh pelayanan bidang pendidikan yang mempercepat penerapan Pendidikanera Revolusi 4.0. Bagaimana tidak baik pengajar maupun peserta didik dipacu untukmemahami setidaknya penggunaan teknologi digital. Di sisi lain peserta didik juga dipaksauntuk mengeksplor teknologi dan informasi dan menyalurkan kreatifitasnya melalui inovasiinovasidalam tugas-tugas yang diberikan.Media pembelajaran yang umum digunakan untuk menunjuang proses belajarmengajar adalah video. Saat ini video yang dibuat hanya sebatas guru yang memaparkanmateri tanpa ada konten menarik di dalamnya. Hal ini dapat mengakibatkan timbulnyakejenuhan siswa dalam belajar. Maka dari itu, peneliti berencana untuk membuat kontenvideo berbasis animasi yang diharapkan dapat menarik atensi, antusiasme, dan minat siswadalam belajar.Berdasarkan paparan di atas, media pembelajaran merupakan bagian penting dalampelaksanaan pendidikan di sekolah, akan tetapi penggunaan media pembelajaran yang sesuai,khususnya untuk menunjang kegiatan belajar daring saat ini masih menjadi kendala. Salahsatu sekolah swasta di Kabupaten yang bernaung pada Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979,yaitu SMA Handayani 1 Pameungpeuk sudah mencoba menggunakan media pembelajaranyang sesuai untuk kegiatan pembelajaran daring, yaitu memanfaatkan channel Youtube yangdidalamnya memuat video pembelajaran dari para guru di sekolah tersebut. Hal ini berarti,sekolah tersebut menggunakan media pembelajaran jenis multimedia. Namun sayangnya,jenis multimedia yang digunakan baru sebatas penggunaan slide yang disertai suara.Maka dari itu, diperlukan peningkatan kompetensi bagi guru untuk membuat mediapembelajaran jenis multimedia dalam bentuk lain, misalnya menggunakan bentuk mediaanimasi. Animasi merupakan salah satu bentuk visual bergerak yang dapat digunakan untukmenjelaskan materi pelajaran yang sulit disampaikan secara konvensional, dengandiintegrasikan ke media lain seperti video, presentasi atau sebagai bahan ajar. Animasi jugacocok untuk menjelaskan materi-materi pelajaran yang secara langsung sulit dihadirkan dikelas atau disampaikan dalam bentuk buku.
