Abstract

The form of nature lexicon in the Madurese folk song titled “Tanduk Majheng” reflects the cultural identity of its people. The song contains thoughts and noble values that have been passed down from generation to generation. The use of nature lexicon in the song is not only for entertainment, but also a medium for Madurese people to convey their ideas, advice, and outlook on life. Therefore, this study aims to describe and explain the form of nature lexicon used in Madurese folk song titled “Tanduk Majheng”, as well as the relationship contained in the song “Tanduk Majheng” as the cultural identity of Madurese people. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The data source used is a Madurese folk song entitled “Tanduk Majheng”, while the data is taken from the form of lexicon related to nature as a form of ecolinguistic study. The results of the study found three forms of nature lexicon are 1) majhengan (fish finder), 2) abental ombek (cushioned waves), 3) asapok angen (covered with wind). The cultural identity of Madurese people in the song Tanduk Majheng lies in the form of nature lexicon which mentions that the habits of people who live on the coast with livelihoods at sea. The natural lexicon contains values such as hard work, independence, and a deep understanding of the marine environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how Indonesian social and cultural ideologies are linguistically represented in the Sahabatku Indonesia BIPA 2 textbook through a Critical Linguistics perspective. The ideological dimension in textbooks, particularly how social, moral, and national values ​​are constructed through language choices, has rarely been studied in depth, necessitating an analysis capable of uncovering the role of language as a means of representing symbolic power in textbooks. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the Critical Linguistics analytical framework developed by Fowler. Data were obtained from reading texts, dialogues, and exercises in each learning unit and then analyzed at three levels: lexical choice, syntactic structure, and ideological discourse forms. The results show that this textbook consistently represents national values ​​such as mutual cooperation, social harmony, cleanliness, modernity, and cultural nationalism. These values ​​are conveyed through evaluative vocabulary choices, simple declarative and imperative sentences, and narratives that frame Indonesia as a developed, harmonious, and morally sound nation. This finding confirms that BIPA textbooks play a dual role: as a pedagogical tool and a cultural diplomacy tool that strengthens Indonesia’s image in the eyes of the international community.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) untuk menginspirasi penggubahan puisi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XI IPS 4 SMA Negeri 2 Malang dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 34 orang. Penelitian dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus dengan rincian pelaksanaan setiap siklus meliputi kegiatan perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan tindakan (acting), observasi (observing), dan refleksi (reflection). Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan tes. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini disusun dengan melibatkan face validity yaitu expert judgment. Seluruh data yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini (baik data tes berupa angka atau persen) dianalisis dan diolah dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) untuk menginspirasi penggubahan puisi pada peserta didik menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Secara keseluruhan, sebanyak 28 (82,35%) peserta didik telah menunjukkan ketuntasan belajar sedangkan 6 (17,64%) peserta didik lainnya belum menunjukkan ketuntasan belajar. Meski belum seluruh peserta didik menunjukkan adanya ketuntasan belajar, namun hasil penilaian dan pengamatan pada siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan dari siklus I (65,21% ke 83,44%).

Abstract

In general, the goal of this research is to explain persuasive messages in advertorial forms found in printed advertisements. The study employs a qualitative approach oriented toward discourse analysis theory. The research findings indicate that messages of product superiority, promises of fulfillment, factual status, and opinion status are used to establish a positive image of products. The content of persuasive messages in advertorial advertisements is engineered by capitalists to build the hegemony of potential customers and encourage consumptive actions.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the literacy program, scheme and target of the literacy development strategy implementation. This research method is qualitative, case study approach. The results of the research are in the form of a literacy activity development plan formed in the form of utilizing the school literacy website. On the implementation scheme, which consists of three stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. The main target of this activity is digital-based literacy materials in the form of literary reviews, short stories, school newsletters, poetry, and school service advertisements.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the implementation of planning and implementation of social emotional learning in response text using the CRT approach. The method in this research in qualitative using Miles and Huberman’s data analysis theory. Abstract

This study aims to identify cultural patterns and values in conceptual metaphors found in Nusantara fairy tales using a cognitive linguistic approach. This study was designed as a qualitative-descriptive study with a focus on analysing three main fairy tales that represent geographical diversity, namely Timun Mas from Java, Putri Mandalika from West Nusa Tenggara, and Malin Kundang from West Sumatra. The results of the analysis show that there are a total of 55 conceptual metaphors found in the three fairy tales. Structural metaphors dominate about fifty percent of all findings, followed by ontological and orientational metaphors. These metaphors serve as a means of transmitting cultural values that vary between regions, such as contextual wisdom in the western region, the values of collectivity and sacrifice in the central region, and an emphasis on social harmony and relationship with nature. These findings also reveal the mindset of the Indonesian people, who prioritise collectivity over individuality, as reflected in the metaphorical structure of fairy tales. The conclusion of this study confirms that Nusantara fairy tales are a medium rich in cultural cognition. Pedagogically, this study offers important implications for character education through a story-based moral education approach, where the metaphorical structure in fairy tales can serve as a cognitive scaffold for internalising moral values. Theoretically, this study also enriches the development of cognitive linguistics in the context of Indonesia's multicultural society.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh temuan di lapangan yang menunjukkan  siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam aspek pelafalan, intonasi, keberanian, dan ekspresi saat membacakan berita. Kondisi ini memerlukan intervensi pembelajaran yang inovatif, sehingga peneliti memanfaatkan Studio Kreatif sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis & McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 28 siswa kelas XI dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi rekaman video. Studio Kreatif yang digunakan dilengkapi peralatan standar produksi yaitu kamera, mikrofon untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang  mendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada semua aspek yang diteliti. Pada aspek pelafalan, siswa seperti Anis, Agus, dan Fahri menunjukkan kemajuan dalam kejelasan artikulasi dan ketepatan pengucapan kata-kata kompleks. Dalam aspek intonasi, terlihat peningkatan kemampuan menggunakan variasi nada dan penekanan pada kata kunci, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh Fahri dan Rizki Darmawan. Aspek keberanian mengalami perkembangan yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kontak mata, interaksi dengan audiens, dan pengelolaan kecemasan pada siswa seperti Agus dan Naura. Sementara pada aspek ekspresi, siswa seperti Janatal dan Anis mampu menampilkan ekspresi wajah dan gestur tubuh yang lebih variatif dan sesuai dengan konten berita. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Studio Kreatif merupakan media yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membacakan berita karena mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang autentik, memberikan umpan balik langsung melalui rekaman, dan membangun kepercayaan diri siswa secara bertahap. Keunggulan Studio Kreatif terletak pada kemampuannya mengintegrasikan latihan teknis kebahasaan dengan pengembangan keterampilan performatif dalam konteks yang mendekati situasi nyata.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the form of implementation of social inclusion-based services in the Republic Gubuk Community which is an association of Gubuk Baca in the Jabung area, Malang Regency. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative data analysis approach. data sources used primary and secondary data sources obtained through interviews, observation, and literature review. The results of the research show that the activities that are part of the program at the Gubuk Republik Community are a form of social inclusion-based library service which is in line with the concept of social inclusion-based library services developed by Utami and Prasetyo which describes several aspects, namely reading huts as facilitators in developing growth potential. economy, reading huts as a vehicle for problem-solving, reading huts as a center for community activities, and reading huts play an active role in the literacy movement through various activities such as BUMI Gubuk (Hut-Owned Enterprise), teaching thug, People's Campus, mobile library movement, and others. etc.
