Abstract

Peran kepala sekolah sangat penting untuk mempengaruhi serta membimbing semua personal bekerja sama dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi work engagement sekolah. Untuk mengetahui pentingnya peran kepala sekolah dalam memaksimalkan guru dalam lembaga pendidikan. Peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti tentang bagaimana “Peran Kepala Sekolah dalam Memaksimalkan Work Engagement pada lembaga pendidikan di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Al-Mujahidin Balikpapan”. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Al-Mujahidin Balikpapan. Berdasarkan temuan hasil penelitian/Berdasarkan peta konsep yang dihasilkan, penelitian ini memiliki novelty yang terdiri dari 5 komponen penting peran kepala sekolah dalam memaksimalkan work engagement guru di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Al-Mujahidin Balikpapan yaitu tugas kepala sekolah, perilaku kepemimpinan, target sekolah, program work engagement, evaluasi work engagement. Perencanaan yang tepat oleh kepala sekolah melalui perumusan, perencanaan, pengembangan misi, visi, rencana kerja, anggaran, program induksi dan tujuan sekolah memilik peran terhadap work engagement guru, yang nantinya memiliki dampak terhadap target sekolah dengan pendekatan program work engagement guru. Kompetensi kepemimpinan dituntut memberikan peran dalam memaksimalkan work engagement guru dengan memberikan menunjukkan kepedulian, motivasi positif, bimbingan dan arahan dapat menumbuhkan work engagement guru. Program work engagement menjadi strategi yang tepat untuk mencapai target sekolah di masa sekarang dan masa akan datang.

Abstract

The distance learning process carried out by teachers and students is a challenge, especially related to learning motivation and student learning discipline. This study analyzes strengthening learning to improve student learning discipline during the pandemic. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. The research procedure uses Miles and Huberman. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. Data analysis was carried out using Atlas.ti software version 8. The results of this study indicate the importance of student response, strengthening parents' motivation, and student learning focus. Some of the research results related to three important focuses: strategies to improve learning, respond to improvements, and distance learning. Based on the study results, it can be seen that children in the distance learning process very much need parents during a pandemic like now. Parents must also be able to discipline their children during learning activities. To discipline children, parents encourage children to be more enthusiastic in learning. Reinforcement provided by parents is to strengthen verbally and some are in the form of nonverbal.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the management of SMAS Muhammadiyah Toboali is implementing the project of Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5). Qualitative research with a descriptive approach is the research design used in this article. Five participants were involved in this research: the school principal, the curriculum representative, the P5 coordinator, the P5 facilitator and the students of Class X. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentary studies.  This research uses interactive data analysis. Data analysis techniques used models Miles and Huberman with the help of software atlas.ti version 8 by creating word codes to facilitate the presentation of the data obtained. Research results: Indicators found from P5 management planning for SMA in the planning component consist of principal leadership, curriculum development, school policies, local wisdom, determining schedules and modules, determining coordinators, determining facilitators, and determining themes. The indicators found from the organization of P5 management for SMA in the organizing component consist of freedom to learn, teacher willingness, coordination, similarity of perception, concern, mutual agreement, division of tasks, and socialization. The indicators found from the implementation of P5 management for SMA in the implementation component consist of student involvement, habituation, task descriptions, innovation, social media, work titles, collaboration, adaptation, partnership, and harmony. The indicators found from evaluating P5 management for SMA in the evaluation component consist of: follow-up, based on competency, level of achievement, sustainability, independence, digital era, and school culture.

Abstract

The current acceleration of digital transformation requires the adaptability of schools, teachers, students, and school partner institutions, namely the industry. The purpose of this study is to reveal the important components and indicators in the online collaborative learning process as part of a vocational alignment program. This study uses a qualitative case study approach. The research model uses the Miles Huberman interactive model. The participants of this research are productive teachers, alumni, and instructors from industry. This research was conducted in Yogyakarta. Data analysis was carried out with the help of Atlas.ti software version 9. The validity of the data was using source triangulation. The results of this study are that there are main components that must exist in collaborative on-line learning, namely pedagogical learning environments, instructions, digital tools, apply methods, and development of critical thinking. Recommendations for this study are given to all teachers who teach in vocational high schools and all instructors as partner schools to improve the quality of learning as technology develops. So that they can take advantage of technology in learning through online learning collaborations.

Abstract

Digital-preneurship is one way of learning as a medium for students to develop themselves and improve competencies as needed by the world of work. The purpose of this study was to determine the digital-preneruship competence of Vocational High School students. The method used in this research is qualitative with a single-case study approach. Research setting in SMK which has the title of Center of Excellence. The participants involved are Vocational High School students. The data analysis procedure used the Five-Phased Cycle of compiling, disassembling, reassembling, interpreting, and concluding. Data analysis using the software Atlas.ti version 9. The results of this study indicate that students' digital-preneurship competencies are resilient, digital marketing, business management, and brand development. Each component finding has indicators.

Abstract

This research and development aim to evaluate the learning of creative products and entrepreneurship at Muhammadiyah 1 Vocational High School in Surakarta, develop product-based learning, and assess its suitability in fostering entrepreneurial spirit. The development method used is ADDIE, with 30 students from Class XII A as the experimental group, and 25 students from Class XII B as the control group. The research design adopts a quasi-experimental design known as the non-equivalent control group design. Data were collected through validation, observation, and questionnaires. The study results indicate that the current learning approach in this school is teacher-centered. However, the implementation of product-based learning using the ADDIE model effectively enhances students' entrepreneurial spirit. The T-test shows a significant difference in average scores between the experimental group (27.22) and the control group (2.944). Additionally, the N-Gain test indicates higher effectiveness (64.7450) for product-based learning compared to traditional methods (7.0428). Overall, this research proposes a highly suitable model for the development of product-based learning at Muhammadiyah 1 Vocational High School in Surakarta, with an emphasis on fostering entrepreneurial spirit

Abstract

This study aims to develop a feasible and effective problem-based learning module. This research is a type of research and development with the stages of preliminary research, model development, and model testing. The number of samples in this study consisted of 10 teachers of Creative Products and Entrepreneurship (PKK), one material expert, one media expert, and 182 students. The instruments used are interview guides, questionnaires, and pretest and post-test questions. The data analysis technique in this study used a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results show that the learning model for PKK subjects used in Vocational High Schools is quite varied; learning activities use learning models oriented to student activities. However, teachers still experience several obstacles, such as teaching materials or textbooks that are still limited to support active learning activities, so it is necessary to develop problem-based learning module (PBL). The results of the module assessment carried out by experts, vocational teachers, and students were categorized as "feasible." Testing the module by acquiring an average N-Gain score for pretest and post-test shows that the problem-based module is quite effective in use with an effective contribution in the "strong effect" category

Abstract

This study aims to analyze, develop, and test the effectiveness of interactive learning media in 3D Animation subjects. This research uses research and development methods using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sleman Yogyakarta. The subjects in this study were class XI students of Multimedia SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sleman. This research design uses data collection techniques using questionnaires to analyze product needs, using validity tests to test the feasibility of the developed products and using Quasy experiment pretest-posttest to test effectiveness. This research uses validators of design experts, material experts, linguists and media experts to validate interactive learning media to be developed. The validity results that have been given by experts in the product validity test show an average percentage of 96% which shows very good and valid qualification. Analysis of research data was carried out by using the validity of questionnaires and T-tests to compare achievement results in classes before being applied to experimental and control classes. The significant difference is evidenced by the results of the T-test calculation which explains that equal variances assumed sig values. (2-tailled) of 0.012 < 0.05, so the data shows significant. These results show the effectiveness of the "3D Teacher" learning media in improving learning in 3D Animation subjects at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sleman

Abstract

The research aims to: (1) analyze the application of synchronization-based industrial practice systems at SMK Muhammadiyah I Playen; (2) develop a synchronization-based industrial practice system application at SMK Muhammadiyah I Playen; and (3) test the feasibility of the developed school synchronization-based industrial practice system application. The research uses research and development (R&D) methods using the codeigniter framework application. The subjects of the study included students of class XI TKJ SMK Muhammadiyah I Playen, Gunungkidul, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data analysis uses quantitative analysis. The expected result is the application of industry practices that will be used to monitor students during industry practices based on the Codeigniter framework system. The results of the study include: (1) the PI monitoring system still uses conventional methods, monitoring guidance teachers directly come to the students to carry out PI. Students during attendance still use the presisnsi sheet held by the IDUKA supervisor, students also make activity journals on paper that has been provided by the school to fill in every day; (2) development of a PI monitoring system using the codeigniter framework application that makes it easier for guidance teachers, IDUKA supervisors and students to carry out PI implementation; and (3) a pilot of the PI monitoring system involving 56 students, five teachers, three IDUKA places is very easy to use and more effective

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the principal's leadership, work environment, and interpersonal communication on teacher performance at SMK Muhammadiyah Wonosobo Regency.  The methodology in this study uses quantitative methods. The population in this study was 75 teachers using Issac and Michael's table so that the number of samples was obtained as many as 63 people and then determined based on proportional random sampling. This research instrument uses a closed questionnaire based on the Likert scale. Hypothesis testing is performed based on t-test, F-test, and determination coefficient test. The results of the study based on multiple linear regression analysis showed that the principal's leadership, work environment, and interpersonal communication together had a significant and positive effect on teacher performance with an R Square result of 0.460. However, the results of the t-test showed that the principal's leadership had no partial effect on teacher performance. The t-test also showed that the work environment had no significant effect on teacher performance. Partially, only interpersonal communication showed a positive and significant influence on teacher performance
