Abstract

Santong Village, located in North Lombok Regency, has a very potential waterfall tourist attraction. However, this area is also prone to natural disasters such as landslides and flash floods. To improve public understanding of these risks, disaster mitigation socialization activities were carried out aimed at building a protection strategy for waterfall tourist destinations. This activity involved mapping potential risks, collaboration with KKN PMD students and the community, and synergy between agencies to ensure tourism management that is in line with environmental conservation principles. The main focus of this activity is to foster community preparedness and prepare recommendations for disaster mitigation policies that are oriented towards the sustainability and safety of tourist destinations. The implementation process begins with the preparation stage, including preparing an activity plan, forming an implementation team, coordinating with the village government, preparing supporting instruments, reviewing literature, and managing permits. After that, socialization materials were prepared starting from collecting primary and secondary data through interview methods, field observations, and document reviews. The data obtained was analyzed to identify potential threats, response capacity, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. The socialization was carried out by presenting speakers from the Unram Community Service Team and the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of North Lombok Regency, and inviting community participation from various village elements. This activity was also equipped with the delivery of materials, visual presentations, and evaluations in the form of pre- and post-tests to assess the participants' understanding. The activity with participants from village officials and the community with a participation rate reaching 80%. The material presented included a general description of the village, the potential for waterfall tourism, and various disaster risks such as landslides, flash floods, earthquakes, and fallen trees. The results of the analysis showed that the main threats were landslides and flash floods. From the discussions that were held, a number of proposals emerged such as mapping vulnerable areas, compiling evacuation routes, and developing an early warning system. This socialization has proven effective in increasing public awareness of the importance of disaster mitigation, while also encouraging active community participation in maintaining the sustainability and sustainability of tourism in Santong Village.

Abstract

East Jembatan Kembar Village is located in an earthquake-prone area in West Lombok Regency, making it essential to enhance community capacity in disaster preparedness. This outreach activity aimed to increase community awareness of earthquake preparedness and to initiate the formation of a community-based structure capable of acting during emergencies. The method used included face-to-face counseling and participatory discussions involving the village head, village staff, community leaders, youth, and local residents. Topics covered included basic knowledge of earthquakes, appropriate actions before, during, and after an earthquake, and the importance of forming a Community Disaster Resilience Group (KMTB). Although the activity was conducted in the morning and received enthusiastic support from the village government, public participation was limited due to time constraints with residents' daily work routines. Nevertheless, the activity successfully delivered key information to attendees and led to the formation of the Community Disaster Resilience Group as a continuation of the program. This group is recommended for immediate formalization by the village government so that it can establish statutes and bylaws, build cross-sector coordination, and fulfill its role in preparedness and emergency response. The results demonstrate that collaborative efforts between local authorities and communities can be an effective strategy for building village resilience to disasters.

Abstract

Masyarakat Desa Gumantar merupakan kondisi perkampungan berterasering dan berlereng, sebagian besar Masyarakat memiliki lahan pekarangan yang belum dimanfaatkan. Desa Gumantar berasal dari dilereng perbukitan dengan jumlah dusun yang ada sebanyak 16 dan sebagian besar masyarakatya sebagai petani ladang. Memperhatikan potensi lahan pekarangan yang ada belum dimanfaatkan optimal, maka perlu disentuh dengan pemanfaatan lahan untuk peresapan air dimusim hujan melalui penyuluhan Biopori, dengan tujuan membantu masyarakat agar dapat berperan aktif dalam pelestarian lingkungan. Pengabdian terdiri dari kegiatan survey lokasi, penyuluhan, diskusi dan tanya jawab serta evaluasi. Pengabdian ini telah berhasil memberi penyuluhkan pada 30 masyarakat dan pemuda remaja masjid Dusun Dasan tereng. Peserta telah memperoleh pengetahuan tentang resapan Biopori dengan contoh cara pemasangannya pada lahan pekarangan.

Abstract

Di wilayah Pujut yang merupakan wilayah penyangga KEK Mandalika, jika diperhatikan kondisinya termasuk dalam areal sawah tadah hujan, karena dimusim kemarau lahan pertanian hanya sebagian kecil yang dapat diusahatanikan karena terbatasnya sumber air irigasi, akan tetapi pada saat musim hujan hampir seluruh areal persawahan yang ada digunakan untuk pertanian penanaman padi. Memperhatikan di musim kemarau masih ada kegiatan pertanian yang dilakukan masyarakat yang mampu di beberapa lokasi yang memanfaatkan air tanah dangkal yang dibor, maka hal ini perlu dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan kegiatan pertanian dimusim kemarau. Terbatasnya air dimusim kemarau dan pemanfaatan air yang terbatas di lokasi ini perlu cara pemanfaatan air secara hemat, agar usahatani dapat ditingkatkan dengan luas lahan yang lebih luas di sekitar sumur bor yang sudah dibangun. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan pelatihan penggunaan irigasi hemat air seperti sistem tetes dengan memanfaatkan air sumur bor yang ada pada masyarakat, pada pertanian tanaman semusim sebagai pembelajaran masyarakat di Desa Segala Anyar. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk melatih masyarakat dalam penggunaan irigasi tetes driptip dengan pentanian tanaman cabai di Desa Segala Anyar.Kegiatan ini menggunakan jaringan irigasi tetes driptip pada sumber air tanah dan media tanam polybag dengan tanaman cabai. Kegiatan diskusi dan tanyajawab dilakukan pada beberapa tahapan kegiatan pelatihan irigasi dan pada akhir kegiatan dilakukan penerahan sistem irigasi pada masyarakat untuk mendia pembelajaran masyarakat tani. Pengabdian ini telah memberikan sistem irigasi tetes satu paket sebagai media pembelajaran, telah melatih 9 perwakilan masyarakat petani di lokasi desa Segala Anyar. Pelatihan telah memberi pengalaman pada peserta dalam penggunaan irigasi tetes driptip yang dapat diterapkan pada lahan pertanian yang terbatas.

Abstract

The people of Poktan Beriuk Maju, Jagaraga Village, are mostly farmers who own land with varying amounts of land, and have a minimum of 2 acres of yard land and many of them are empty, so they need to be used for home farming to help provide food independently. The existence of water sources from springs around settlements and water from shallow wells can also be used to support agricultural activities in the residential area of ​​each potential house. Apart from that, by utilizing limited water sources, such as water from shallow wells and springs around housing, it is an opportunity for the community to farm vegetables and the like to help with the community's daily kitchen needs. This service aims to train people to make multilevel drip irrigation so that they can later be used as a farming method in their home gardens. Before being trained, residents need to be given knowledge about efficient drip irrigation so that participants gain sufficient knowledge about irrigation because its application is very different from traditional irrigation. The service was carried out in the initial stages of survey, the stage of strengthening efficient irrigation, the training stage of making multi-level drip irrigation networks using PVC pipes with emitters, the land was filled with polybags filled with soil as a planting medium. Activities consist of outreach on irrigation and drip irrigation as well as training. This service has succeeded in providing knowledge about irrigation and drip water efficient irrigation at the Beriuk Maju Poktan. It has succeeded in building a multi-level drip irrigation network and is ready for farming use, and can be continued by applying it to horticultural crops as a medium for learning about residential farming.

Abstract

The people of Tibu Lilin Hamlet are a hamlet located in the hills south of Gumise Hamlet and located just to the north of Selamat Harbor. Along the village road are steep hillsides that have been used as villages, so the topography of this hamlet is very irregular. The community's water source during the rainy season comes from springs around the village in the form of water from springs, well water and seepage water from rock fragments on existing hillside cliffs. Meanwhile, during the dry season, most of the water sources dry up and only one or two locations have water with very minimal potential. Water shortages during the dry season are met by buying water from collectors who transport it by truck or tanker to Tibu Lilin Hamlet. Therefore, this service aims to educate the community about how to utilize limited water sources around the hills to help provide community water. The service was carried out in the stages of location coordination, location survey, outreach activities, discussion and question and answer as well as evaluation. Counseling was provided in the form of water storage methods, water storage tank methods and ways of managing water sources in mutual cooperation. This service has succeeded in providing the Tibu Lilin community with knowledge about water sources, how to collect water and manage water sources together. The community has been shown how to make water reservoirs and how to make pipe networks to channel water to the hamlet.

Abstract

Keseragaman tetesan adalah parameter yang krusial dalammengukur kinierja jaringan irigasi tetes. Semakin tinggi koefisien keseragaman tetesan menunjukkan kinerja jaringan yang semakin baik. Dan kinerja terbaik dari jaringan irigasi tetes dapat diperoleh dengan mengoptimasi parameter-parameter yang mempengaruhi, seperti panjang dan kemiringan pipa lateral, diameter dan jarak antar emitter, serta panjang durasi penetesan. Penelitian ini dijalankan dengan metode eksperimental di Laboratorium dengan cara mengamati dan mengukur langsung hasil tetesan di masing-masing emitter menggunakan pipa lateral dari PVC. Kemudian perhitungan koefisien keseragaman dihubungkan terhadap parameter aliran pipa dripline untuk mendapatkan parameter yang menghasilkan keseragaman terbaik. Penelitian menghasilkan bahwa keseragaman tetesan optimum diperoleh pada kemiringan pipa lateral terbaiknya yaitu 0.2% dan panjang pipa lateral kurang dari 12 meter. Sementara semakin besar diameter lubang penetes menghasilkan keseragaman tetesan yang semakin menurun, dan semakin besar jarak antar penetes menghasilkan keseragaman tetesan yang semakin baik.

Abstract

Kota Praya merupakan kota yang sedang berkembang dan melakukan pembangunan infrastuktur. Untuk wilayah yang sedang berkembang dan melakukan pembangunan infarstruktur kota yang perlu diperhatikan adalah dalam aspek pembangunan bangunan air, agar tidak terjadi banjir dan musibah-musibah lain yang tidak diharapkan. Perhitungan kedalan hujan dan debit banjir rencana dengan metode rasional untuk perancangan bangunan hidraulik memerlukan data kedalaman hujan dalam durasi dengan luas daerah tertentu dan intensitas hujan dalam durasi dengan periode ulang tertentu yang dapat diperoleh dari kurva Intesity-Duration-Frenquency (IDF) dan Depth-Area-Duration (DAD). Dalam pembuatan kurva IDF, perhitungan intensitas hujan tiap-tiap kala ulang digunakan rumus Mononobe. Sedangkan dalam pembuatan kurva DAD perhitungan luas-kedalaman tiap-tiap periode didapat dari peta isohyet. Hasil dari analisis ini menunjukan bahwa besarnya nilai Intensitas-Duration-Frequency (IDF) dengan durasi 30 menit beradasarkan kala ulang 2 tahun, 5 tahun, 10 tahun, 25 tahun diperoleh intensitas hujan berturut-turut adalah: I2 = 44,234 mm/jam, I5 =57,934 mm/jam, I10 = 66,785 mm/jam dan I25 = 77,809 mm/jam. Sedangkan besarnya nilai kurva DAD untuk luasan 40 km2 dengan durasi 6 jam, 12 jam, 18 jam dan 24 jam nilai hujan rata-rata maksimum berturut-turut adalah 79,62 mm, 84,22 mm, 82,76 mm dan 82,76 mm.

Abstract

Since water availability in arid area is very limited, the technology of water-saving irrigation system is extremely needed. Gravitational drip irrigation system is one of modification drip irrigation system that very feasible to apply, due to using familiar materials that will be mostly easy to find and no high skill and sophisticated technology knowledge is needed. This research conducted an experimental model of drip irrigational system with a reservoir placed on the height of 3 meters. Then observations were made by measuring of water that collected in a glass collector on each emitter placed along lateral pipe 6 meters long. The pipe fitted on a slope of 0%, 0.3%, 0.4% and 0.5%, then be compared its emission uniformity. The results showed that the best emission uniformity coefficient obtained at 0.3% pipe slope compared with the others with emission uniformity coefficient more than 85% and in a category of very good emission uniformity. Then emission uniformity coefficient also increases while increasing the duration of flows. So the longer time of flows shows the better emitters performance.

Abstract

Perubahan iklim saat ini telah terjadi secara global dan menyebabkan bahaya langsung berupa perubahan pola curah hujan, kenaikan temperatur, kenaikan muka air laut, dan kejadian iklim ekstrim. Sebagai salah satu pulau dibagian wilayah timur Indonesia Pulau Lombok termasuk pulau yang sangat rentan terhadap perubahan iklim. Perubahan pola curah hujan menyebabkan berubahnya awal dan panjang musim hujan. Perubahan ini tentunya sangat berkaitan dengan sektor pertanian. Perubahan iklim akan mempengaruhi hasil panen yang kemungkinan besar akan berkurang disebabkan oleh semakin keringnya lahan akibat musim kemarau yang lebih panjang. Pada skala yang ekstrem, berkurangnya hasil panen dapat mengancam ketahanan pangan. Penelitian yang akan dilaksanakan menggunakan analisis data-data historis klimatologi berupa data hujan, penguapan, dan suhu dengan panjang data yang tersedia selama periode pencatatan. Hal tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran hasil analisis perubahan karakter klimatologi sampai dengan tahun 2012. Analisis yang dilakukan yaitu analisis pergeseran bulan kejadian hujan, analisis perubahan penguapan, analisis perubahan suhu, dan analisis perubahan curah hujan. Dari analisis yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil pola pergesran awal musim hujan berkisar antara bulan Juli s/d Desember. Pola perubahan penguapan di Pulau Lombok mengalami peningkatan dengan gradient antara 0,41 s/d 0,52, sedangkan suhu mengalami peningkatan bervariasi antara0,2 s/d 1,6 oC. Curah hujan di Pulau Lombok secara umum mengalami kenaikan sebesar 5,39% dalam periode pencatatan.
