Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning activity, the ability to think critically in determining the main thoughts, and the learning outcomes of 5th grade students of SDN Pelambuan 2 Banjarmasin in Indonesian learning. Learning tends to be boring, one-way, and makes less use of varied learning models and media. This research aims to improve student activities, critical thinking skills, and learning outcomes through the application of a combination of Problem Based Learning (PBL), Think Pair and Share (TPS) and Snowball Throwing models. This research is a Class Action Research (PTK) with a qualitative approach that was carried out for four meetings. The subject of the study was 19 5th grade students in the even semester of the 2024/2025 school year. Data were collected through observation of teacher and student activities, as well as critical thinking skills and written tests for learning outcomes. teacher activity reached a score of 30 (Very Good), student activity was 84% (Very Active), students' critical thinking ability was 84% (Highly Skilled), and the completeness of student learning outcomes classically reached 89%. Thus, the application of the PBL model in combination with TPS and Snowball Throwing has proven to be effective in improving the quality of the overall learning process.

Abstract

Permasalahan “pada penelitian ini adalah rendahnya keterampilan membaca pemahaman yang berdampak pada hasil belajar pada muatan Bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya pemahaman siswa mengenai isi teks dalam bacaan. salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan kombinasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition dan Talking Stick. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang dilaksanakan dengan 4 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas 4 SDN Benua Anyar 10 Banjarmasin yang berjumlah 15 siswa. Data dianalisis berdasarkan hasil observasi aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, keterampilan membaca pemahaman, dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru meningkat pada pertemuan 4 dengan skor 28 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Aktivitas siswa meningkat pada pertemuan 4 menjadi 93% dengan kategori “Sangat Aktif”. Adapun keterampilan membaca pemahaman pertemuan 4 memperoleh persentase 93%. Untuk hasil belajar siswa meningkat pada pertemuan 4 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 93%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Kombinasi Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) Dan Talking Stick dapat meningkatkan aktivitas,keterampilan membaca pemahaman, dan hasil belajar siswa kelas 4 SDN Benua Anyar 10 Banjarmasin.”

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low listening skills of students, which negatively affect their learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects. Contributing factors to this issue include students' lack of concentration during listening activities, weak memory retention, limited language comprehension, and teacher-centered learning approaches. The aim of this study was to improve students' listening skills and learning outcomes through the implementation of a combination of the Discovery Learning, Think Pair Share (TPS), and Talking Stick models. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using both qualitative and quantitative approaches, conducted over two cycles consisting of four meetings. The research subjects were 18 fifth-grade students at SDN Belitung Utara 1 Banjarmasin. Qualitative data were collected through observations of teacher activities, student engagement, and listening skills. Quantitative data were obtained from both individual and group learning outcomes. The findings revealed that teacher activities were carried out very effectively, student participation increased to a highly active category, listening skills reached a highly proficient level, and learning outcomes achieved a 100% mastery rate. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the combination of Discovery Learning, TPS, and Talking Stick models is effective in enhancing student engagement, listening skills, and academic performance. Therefore, this model is recommended as an alternative teaching strategy for Indonesian language instruction, particularly in identifying intrinsic elements of stories at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study seeks to enhance critical thinking and reading comprehension skills in students by implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) paradigm in conjunction with Think Pair Share (TPS) and Talking Stick methodologies. The issue encountered is the inadequate critical thinking and reading comprehension abilities of fourth-grade pupils at SDN Sungai Miai 4 Banjarmasin, attributable to traditional and less engaging instructional methods. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology executed across four cycles, with 19 students as participants. The data gathering methods comprised the observation of instructor and student activities, critical thinking skill assessments, and evaluations of learning outcomes. The results demonstrate that the regular implementation of the three learning models enhances the quality of learning. Teacher and student activities demonstrated a considerable enhancement from the "adequate" category to the "very good" category. The students' critical thinking skills improved from 21% to 100%. Learning achievement increased from 21% in the initial cycle to 100% in the fourth cycle. This enhancement demonstrates that the PBL paradigm, in conjunction with TPS and Talking Stick, is beneficial in fostering critical thinking skills and reading comprehension in elementary school pupils. This study advocates for the adoption of this learning model as a novel approach to improve the quality of Indonesian language education at the primary level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the da'wah strategy of the Pendakwah Keren Community (KPK) through the slogan "Ikhlas Ruhnya Dakwah" (Sincerity is the Spirit of Da'wah) in South Sulawesi. The focus of this study is on how this community interprets and implements the value of sincerity as the spirit of da'wah in its activities, and how this strategy shapes a positive image in the eyes of the community. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation of KPK activities in various regions in South Sulawesi. The results show that the KPK implements six main strategic steps in carrying out the slogan "Ikhlas Ruhnya Dakwah": internalization of the value of sincerity through spiritual regeneration, implementation of social da'wah without expecting anything in return, program selection based on the value of sincerity, leadership that exemplifies sincerity, evaluation based on intention rather than outward achievements, and maintenance of sincerity through dhikr and muhasabah. The urgency of developing the KPK's da'wah strategy is driven by socio-cultural changes in society, internal community challenges, the need to strengthen the implementation of the slogan's values, expansion into marginalized areas, and the professionalization of da'wah without losing its spiritual essence. The strengths of the KPK's strategy include an emphasis on spiritual values that distinguish it from commercial da'wah, a non-competitive and inclusive approach, spirituality-based cadre development, and flexibility in da'wah methods. Its weaknesses include the absence of objective measures to assess sincerity, high dependence on individual motivation, and a weak organizational management system, all of which lead to program inconsistency. The slogan "Ikhlas Ruhnya Dakwah" (Sincerity in Preaching) serves as the philosophical foundation guiding all of the KPK's preaching activities, ensuring they remain focused on the ultimate goal of pleasing Allah, without getting caught up in materialism or popularity. This study is expected to contribute to contemporary preaching strategies and serve as a reference for other preaching communities in developing strategies that are relevant, creative, and rooted in the value of sincerity.

Abstract

This study examines the da'wah strategy the Youth Organization (Karang Taruna) implemented to reduce juvenile delinquency in Mario Village, Libureng District, Bone Regency. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation from key informants, including Youth Organization leaders, religious figures, community leaders, and local teenagers. Findings reveal that Karang Taruna employs a sentimental da'wah strategy that focuses on emotional approaches through multiple program dimensions: (1) religious activities, including recitation, corpse bathing training, and establishing Islamic spiritual groups (Rohis); (2) educational interventions through juvenile delinquency seminars; (3) community engagement via charity activities; and (4) talent development through sports and arts programs. The research identifies three primary challenges: limited funding resources, management turnover, human resource constraints, and declining teenage enthusiasm due to technology distractions. The study demonstrates that while the sentimental da'wah approach shows promising results in reducing juvenile delinquency, its effectiveness could be enhanced through sustainable funding mechanisms, strengthened organizational capacity, and more engaging youth-centered activities that respond to contemporary interests. This research contributes to understanding religiously informed youth intervention strategies in rural contexts and provides practical recommendations for community-based approaches to juvenile delinquency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of swim parachute and paddle training on the speed of 50 Meter Freestyle Swimming Ku III 12-13 Years Binatirta Swimming Club in 2025. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 8 athletes, the research instrument used was quantitative with an experimental method, while the data analysis technique used the Paired-Samples T-test method (Related T Test). The results of the t-test obtained a t-count value of 6.443 and t-table, namely the t-distribution table with α = 5% and df = 7 of 2.365. While the significance result is 0.000. Because t-count = 6.443 > t-table = 2.365 and the significance sig. (0.000) <α (0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is an effect of swim parachute and paddle training on the speed of 50 meter freestyle swimming ku III 12-13 years binatirta swimming club in 2025.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PKM) was driven by the urgent need to improve the accountability and efficiency of the financial management of the Mattiro Uleng Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDesa) in Pangkep Regency. The focus of the intervention was on training and assistance in digital financial recording using the Buku Warung application as a practical solution. The main problems identified are the BUMDesa's dependence on manual bookkeeping, which is prone to errors, the inability to produce reliable financial reports, and a lack of transparency, which significantly hinders the sustainability of village business units. The PKM implementation method included four stages: comprehensive assessment, digital awareness socialization, hands-on training on the Buku Warung application, and measurable mentoring and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests on 25 BUMDesa administrators. The material emphasized key features such as daily transaction recording, expenditure categorization, and digital accounts receivable/payable management. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in the average knowledge score of participants by 52.7 points (from 35.0 to 87.7), indicating successful technology adoption. This improvement proves that the adoption of user-friendly digital tools is very effective in transforming financial literacy and practices at the village level, so that BUMDesa Mattiro Uleng is expected to be able to achieve a higher level of transparency and accountability.

Abstract

Canva merupakan suatu tools desain grafis untuk membantu dalam pembuatan desain kreatif yang mudah digunakan. Dalam kegiatan ini, dilaksanakan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran menggunakan Canva bagi guru-guru SMKN 1 di Pangkep. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran menggunakan Canva. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan serta evaluasi dan pelaporan. Tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah interaktif dan praktik. Pemaparan materi dilanjutkan dengan praktik pembuatan media pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 23 guru-guru SMKN 1 Pangkep. Setelah pelatihan, semua peserta mampu membuat media pembelajaran. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi yang sangat signifikan dan efektif. Skor rata-rata post-test meningkat sebesar 31,55 poin, dari 55,75 menjadi 87,30, atau setara dengan peningkatan 56,60% yang dikategorikan Tinggi berdasarkan N-Gain Score. Kenaikan skor ini didukung oleh produk media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan guru, yang menunjukkan peningkatan drastis dalam aspek visualitas, interaktivitas, dan relevansi konten kejuruan. Simpulan menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan Canva sebagai tools yang user-friendly sangat efektif sebagai solusi PKM, berhasil memfasilitasi transformasi peran guru menjadi desainer pengalaman belajar yang adaptif. Diharapkan pelatihan ini menjadi dasar bagi program berkelanjutan sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran digital.

Abstract

This theoretical review examines how Green Awareness and Green Brand Image jointly influence eco-friendly consumer decision-making. Drawing on recent literature, the study synthesizes cognitive and perceptual mechanisms that guide consumers in evaluating sustainable products. The review finds that Green Awareness strengthens consumers’ understanding of environmental issues, while Green Brand Image provides credibility cues that build trust and reduce uncertainty. Together, these constructs interact synergistically to motivate eco-friendly purchase decisions. However, challenges such as greenwashing, socio-economic constraints, and cultural differences may weaken this relationship. The review contributes to sustainability marketing theory by offering an integrated conceptual understanding and outlining directions for future research.
