Abstract

The research problem is the low activity and critical thinking skills in reading comprehension among students, which affects their learning outcomes in Indonesian language content. The effort to address this uses the GEMBIRA learning model, which is a combination of three learning models: Problem Based Learning (PBL), Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC), and Teams Games Tournament (TGT). The objective of this research is to describe teacher activity, analyze the increase in student activity, critical thinking skills in reading comprehension, and student learning outcomes. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of the study are 20 students from class 4A of SDN Kuin Selatan 1 Banjarmasin Barat, consisting of 7 male students and 13 female students. This study employs both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results show that teacher activity from meetings 1 to 4 received a very good criterion. The critical thinking skills in reading comprehension from meetings 1 to 4 increased from a less skilled criterion to a very skilled one. Based on the findings, it is concluded that the GEMBIRA learning model can enhance teacher activity, student activity, critical thinking skills in reading comprehension, and student learning outcomes in Indonesian language learning on determining the main ideas and supporting ideas of paragraphs. It is recommended to use this model as an alternative in improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study with an explanatory approach. The data used in this study is primary data obtained by the researcher from 335 J.CO Donuts customers spread throughout Indonesia. The data obtained by the researcher was analyzed using the smart PLS 4.0 analysis tool. The result in this article show that the first row of the table above, it shows the P-Values ​​are positive and below the 0.05 significance level, namely 0.006. These results are in line with the research. These results indicate that Food Reviewers can improve product quality, increase brand trust, increase sales quantity, and increase Purchase Decision numbers. In the next row, the results shown are three hundred and sixty degrees inverse, namely the Hedonic Style variable cannot moderate the influence of the Food Reviewer variable on the Purchase Decision variable because the P-Values ​​value is not below the 0.05 significance value, namely 0.068. This result is due to J.CO donut consumers purchasing based on product quality and brand trust, rather than hedonistic tendencies. Therefore, it can be concluded that the first hypothesis in this study is accepted, while the second hypothesis in this article is rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to design and evaluate the effectiveness of a bilingual booklet (Indonesian and Banjarese) as a learning media for disaster mitigation in wetland areas of South Kalimantan. The research method used is Design-Based Research (DBR) with four main stages: problem identification, product development, product testing, and reflection. The study involved 50 elementary school students selected using purposive sampling. Data was collected through validation instruments by content, media, and language experts, as well as questionnaires for teacher and student responses. The results showed that the booklet achieved validation scores ranging from 80-100% and received positive responses from both students and teachers, with scores between 95.31%-100%. The booklet implementation in two phases showed an improvement in students' cognitive and affective understanding, analyzed using paired t-tests. The conclusion of this study is that the bilingual booklet is effective in enhancing students' knowledge of disaster mitigation, with practical implications for the development of disaster education media in disaster-prone areas.

Abstract

Potensi pemanfaatan energi matahari sebagai sumber energi alternatif, saat ini kebutuhan energi terbarukan semakin meningkat dan sinar matahari merupakan sumber energi yang sangat melimpah. Alat yang dapat digunakan saat ini untuk mengonversi secara langsung cahaya matahari menjadi listrik disebut photovoltaic. Pada penelitian ini diujikan 2 buah photovoltaic module kapasitas 50 WP dengan perbandingan photovoltaic module berpendingin dan tidak berpendingin terpasang pada posisi yang tetap/horizontal terhadap bumi dengan sudut kemiringan 15°, Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa perubahan intensitas cahaya matahari diikuti dengan kenaikan daya dan efisiensi. Daya maksimal yang dicapai yaitu pada pengujian menggunakan media air pendingin sebesar 36,5 Watt dengan Efisiensi 10,96 % sedangkan photovoltaic module tidak berpendingin daya maksimal yang diperoleh 30,2 watt dengan efisiensi 8,51 %  terukur pada kondisi waktu yang sama pada pukul 12.00 WIB.

Abstract

Pencak silat merupakan seni bela diri tradisional Indonesia yang menuntut perpaduan antara kekuatan, kecepatan, dan teknik presisi. Setiap gerakan serangan memiliki prinsip biomekanika yang berperan penting dalam efektivitas dan efisiensi energi yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan gerak serangan siku dalam pencak silat dari perspektif biomekanika, guna memahami hubungan antara koordinasi segmen tubuh, gaya, serta aktivasi otot yang mempengaruhi kinerja atlet. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur dan observasi gerak, yang meliputi analisis kinematik dan kinetik terhadap empat jenis serangan siku, yaitu siku depan, siku belakang, siku serong, dan siku bawah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas serangan siku ditentukan oleh prinsip proximal-to-distal sequencing , kestabilan postural, dan sinkronisasi antar-segmen tubuh. Variabel biomekanika seperti sudut sendi, kecepatan linier ujung siku, serta rotasi panggul memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap besarnya gaya dan impuls yang dihasilkan. Setiap jenis serangan memiliki karakteristik biomekanis yang berbeda sesuai arah lintasan dan gaya vektor. Penguasaan teknik melalui pelatihan berbasis biomekanika terbukti dapat meningkatkan efisiensi transfer energi, memperbaiki presisi gerakan, serta mengurangi risiko cedera.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between postural deviations and an increased risk of sports injuries from a biomechanical perspective. The research method is a literature review, examining various research results and current scientific sources that discuss the biomechanical aspects of posture and its relationship to sports injuries. The analysis was conducted descriptively and comparatively with biomechanical theory, empirical findings, and corrective approaches based on biomechanical training and technology. The results of the study indicate that postural deviations significantly affect movement efficiency and body stability, which in the long term can increase the risk of injury, especially in the lower back, knees, and shoulders. From a biomechanical perspective, this relationship is explained by changes in forces, torques, the center of gravity, and imbalanced muscle activation patterns. Effective postural prevention and correction efforts include biomechanical evaluation using motion analysis, core and stabilizer muscle strengthening exercises, stretching of tight muscles, and neuromuscular and proprioceptive control training. These interventions can restore postural alignment, improve the body's mechanical efficiency, and reduce the risk of recurrent injury.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the activity of swimmers’ core muscles during the start and turn phases in freestyle swimming using the electromyography (EMG) method. The core muscles are an essential component of the human movement system that function to maintain trunk stability, transfer power from the lower limbs to the upper limbs, and preserve the streamline position while swimming. Proper activation of the core muscles improves movement efficiency and contributes to faster swimming performance.The study was conducted by observing athletes during the start and turn-back phases of freestyle swimming. Observations were focused on two main phases: the start phase and the turn phase. The results showed that the highest core muscle activity occurred during the take-off phase at the start and the push-off phase from the wall. The gluteus maximus and erector spinae muscles played dominant roles in generating explosive power, while the transversus abdominis was essential for maintaining body stability during the glide phase. This study concludes that coordination and strength of the core muscles significantly affect speed, efficiency, and body stability during the critical phases of freestyle swimming. Core muscle strengthening exercises are therefore recommended as a primary component of swimming training programs to enhance athletic performance.

Abstract

Limpasan permukaan (Runoff) merupakan sebagian dari air hujan yang mengalir diatas permukaan tanah menuju sungai, danau atau laut.Limpasan permukaan terjadi apabilah tanah tidak mampu lagi menginflitrasikan air di pemukaan tanah karena tanah sudah dalam keadaan jenuh. Limpasan permukaan juga terjadi apabila hujan jatuh di permukaan yang bersifat impermeable seperti aspal, beton, keramik, dan lain-lain. Peristiwa banjir dan erosi yang sering melanda beberpa wilayah di indonesia merupakan dampak dari limpasan permukaan yang tidak dapat ditangani dengan baik. Secara tidak langsung, limpasan juga mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kualitas air sungai. Daerah yang memiliki limpasan yang tinggi umumnya mempunyai kualitas air sungai yang buruk. Perameter kualitas air yang berpengaruh terhadap besarnya limpasan adalah kekeruhan atau turbiditas. Limpasan permukaan adalah salah satu penyebab utama sungai-sungai di indonesia mempunyai tingkat kekeruhan yang tinggi, termasuk Sungai Pappa.

Abstract

This essay examines the legal and policy frameworks regulating foreign direct investment (FDI) in Australia, South Korea, and Indonesia by focusing on three key areas of law: national laws on foreign investment (including treaties), competition and consumer law, and anti-corruption law. These legal domains significantly influence the decisions and risk assessments of outbound investors. The study highlights how each country’s legal system—Australia’s common law versus South Korea’s and Indonesia’s civil law traditions—affects FDI regulation. It also contrasts developed (Australia and South Korea) and developing (Indonesia) economies, revealing distinct challenges and opportunities in attracting sustainable FDI. Comparative legal analysis is used to assess the effectiveness and limitations of existing frameworks, especially in the context of pre- and post-pandemic reforms. While Australia and South Korea are seen as stable and secure environments for investment, Indonesia, despite being high-risk, offers potentially higher returns. The essay argues that legal clarity and effective governance—especially in anti-corruption and competition regulation—play a critical role in fostering investor confidence. Using a normative legal research method with descriptive, analytical, and case study approaches, the essay concludes that comprehensive understanding of these legal areas is essential for minimizing investment risks and promoting sustainable FDI flows.
