Abstract

Kedermawanan adalah salah satu sifat terpuji yang sering diangkat dalam literatur klasik Islam. Salah satu karya penting yang membahas masalah ini adalah "Al-Iqd al-Farid" yang ditulis oleh Ibn Abd Rabbih. Karya ini terkenal sebagai sebuah ensiklopedia yang menggambarkan berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk karakter-karakter yang dihormati dan terkenal dalam sejarah Arab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (a) mengetahui bentuk-bentuk kedermawanan, dan (b) menganalisis bagaimana teknik penggambaran karakter kedermawanan tokoh-tokoh pra-Islam dan Islam dalam al-‘Iqd al-Farid Jilid 1 karya Ibn Abd Rabbih menggunakan teori Burhan Nurgiyantoro. Teori ini menganalisis cara pengarang menggambarkan penokohan, yaitu dengan teknik ekspositori (analitis) dan dramatis. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif-kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu teknik baca dan catat. Hasil dari penelitian ini, yaitu: (a) bentuk-bentuk kedermawanan para tokoh pra-Islam diwujudkan dengan menolong orang yang kesusahan, berbudi baik, bahkan mengorbankan jiwa. Adapun kedermawanan para tokoh Islam diwujudkan dalam menolong orang yang kesusahan, berbudi baik, dan pembebaskan budak; dan (b) penggambaran karakter kedermawanan para tokoh tidak selalu digambarkan secara analitik dan dramatik, namun juga ada yang hanya menggunakan salah satunya saja. Hal ini disesuaikan dengan keberadaan data yang ditemui dalam objek kajian. Penggambaran karakter secara analitik biasanya terjadi saat menggambarkan kedermawanan yang berkaitan dengan penampilan fisik, sedangkan penggambaran karakter secara dramatik terjadi saat tokoh berinteraksi dengan orang lain.

Abstract

One interesting word that catches attention is "ni'mal abdu" (the best servant), which is repeated only twice in the Quran, specifically in Surah Saad: verse 30 and 44. This word is a praise from Allah bestowed upon Prophet Solomon and Prophet Job (Ayyub). Both prophets have different backgrounds, with Prophet Solomon being blessed with wealth, while Prophet Job was tested with calamities. However, both of them are honored as the best servants. This research aims to describe the messages contained in these verses to understand what makes someone fall into the category of ni'mal abdu.This study utilizes a qualitative research method with library research as the approach. The data analysis employs content analysis. In this written work, the author will document the interpretation of ni'mal abdu according to the views of Wahbah Az-Zuhaili, a commentator in Tafsir Al Munir, and then elaborate on it. The primary data source used is the Quran and Tafsir Al Munir, while secondary data sources include relevant books and journals on the topic.The research findings indicate that the meaning of ni'mal abdu (the best servant) can be derived from two situations based on the stories of Prophet Solomon and Prophet Job. Immense wealth does not necessarily imply exceeding limits, but if it is approached with gratitude and obedience, it becomes the potential of a good servant in the sight of Allah, as exemplified by Prophet Solomon. On the other hand, if someone is tested with a lack of wealth or afflicted with hardships, but responds with patience and remains obedient to Allah, they also have the potential to become a good servant in the eyes of Allah, similar to Prophet Job.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine the process and enhancement of listening proficiency (mahārah istimā’) in the Arabic language among students of PKPBA (Special Programme for Arabic Language Development) at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang, when utilising the e-learning application HATI (Hayāh Al-‘Arābiyah Tafā’uliyan Iliktruniyan). The researcher utilised a mixed-methodologies technique, integrating both quantitative and qualitative methods and conducting descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative analyses. The researcher employed a combination of methodologies, including qualitative descriptive analysis, descriptive statistics, and the paired sample t-test were analysed using SPSS 16. The study focused on the first semester students of PKPBA at UIN Malang and researcher chose a sample of 28 students. The findings suggest that the utilisation of the HATI e-learning application for acquiring mahārah istimā’ can enhance students’ sensitivity and facilitate their ability to listen to Arabic conversations. This, in turn, makes it more pleasurable for students and facilitates the attainment of the predetermined learning goals. This is supported by the t-test value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05, which indicates a statistically significant difference or a substantial influence of using the HATI application on the enhancement of mahārah istimā’. The acquired values consist of an average of 65.00 prior to or in the absence of utilising the HATI application. In contrast, following the utilisation of the HATI application, the mean value was 81.79. The two numbers exhibit a disparity, with an average deviation of 16.79, indicating an improvement in students’ mahārah istimā’ when utilising the HATI e-learning programme.

Abstract

Arabic language learning methods that are less interesting tend to be boring, so the Teams Group Tournaments method assisted by Quizizz media can be a solution that can be applied. The aims of this research are: (1) to describe how to apply the Teams Group Tournaments method assisted by Quizizz media in learning Arabic vocabulary (2) to obtain information regarding student responses regarding the application of Teams Group Tournaments assisted by Quizizz media in learning mufradat. This research method is descriptive qualitative; data collection methods are observation and interview. The results of this research include: (1) there are strengths and weaknesses in implementing the Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model assisted by Quizizz in this research. The strength is that students become more enthusiastic, motivated, and easy to understand in learning Arabic, while the weakness is that the internet does not work, the class becomes noisy, and the projector LCD must be able to connect (2) the implementation of the Teams Group Tournaments method assisted by Quizizz media in learning  Arabic vocabulary makes students enthusiastic, happy, interested and easy to understand in learning Arabic, mainly Arabic vocabulary. The conclusions can be drawn, namely (1) the methods and media are very suitable for use in learning Arabic, (2) the level of student motivation in learning Arabic has increased, and (3) student satisfaction in the learning process that has been carried out has been achieved.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and describe information regarding the methods used to support students to enrich their knowledge in learning Arabic. The importance of memorization and its implication of mufrodat is very supportive in the process of learning Arabic, both for beginners and for students who have been learning the language for a long time. The research method used is qualitative field study, data collection techniques using observation and interviews. After consideration and discussion, the results can be determined that the memorization methods used by students at UIN Maulana Maliki Ibrahim Malang are, the Gans-Lern method: memorizing material in its entirety from beginning to end, the Teil Lem method: memorizing part by part and the Vermittlendes method : a combination of both methods. And the use of the Total physical response method. Where students use this method alternately and there are also those who only focus on one memorization method.

Abstract

Literary works have a relationship with social conditions. such as in Mauthini's short story which discusses the state of the Palestinian people who are under attack by Israel. The purpose of this article: 1) To describe the portrait of the suffering experienced by the Palestinian people (2) To describe the portrait of the sacrifices of the Palestinian people during the uprising. This type of research is qualitative, descriptive, and literature. Data collection uses reading and note-taking techniques. The technical analysis of this research data is data reduction, data exposure and conclusion drawing. The results of this study have found a portrait of the suffering and sacrifice of the Palestinian people that shows the concept of the sociology of literature by Alan Swingewood. In the portrait of the suffering of the Palestinian population, there are 5 quotes that contain elements of suffering: (1) Wounded with blood. (2) Scream in heart (3) Victims fall. (4) Destruction of housing (5) Children victims of Israeli attacks. (6) Oppressed Palestine. In the portrait of the sacrifice of the Palestinian population kesimpulan, there are 3 quotes about the suffering of the Palestinian population: (1) Sacrificing their faith. Abstract

Early childhood education is the most basic education and is referred to as the golden period or what is known as the golden age. This research aims to investigate and understand the effect of using sand media as a learning tool on early writing abilities in early childhood. This research uses a classroom action research method with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. Analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the application of sand media provides a unique learning experience for students that allows children to feel the text and letter shapes. Apart from that, this media can also be a variety of alternative media in teaching children to learn to write.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal audiences reflection about propaganda of Palestine Liberation that presented through nationalism value  in film wathani al-ghali based on Stuart Hall Perspective. This research is  decriptive qualitative. The subject of this research are 40 students of Arabic  Languange and Literature in UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim by purposive sampling based on curent criteria. The results of this research showed that actualization of  nationalism value in film wathani al-ghali are about 18 in various form as  propaganda of Palestine Liberation. Those actualization are blatant uprising,  being killed for Palestine’s defenses, fooling the Israeli army and attacking  them. Audience receptions for the representation nationalism value in the film  interpreted into a reflection of propaganda of Palestine Liberation. Percentage  of audiences are 78% are in dominant hegemony position, 22% are in  negoitation position, and no ocucupies for the opposition. Some underlying  factors are background knowledge that related to Palestinian conflict, simple  flow, and also getting much moral values from the film.

Abstract

Research on Arabic literature in Libya, especially on literature in the nationalist genre, is important to study to examine the correlation between the values of nationalism or what is commonly referred to as Pan Arabism, which Muammar Gaddafi championed, and the Libyan Arabic poetry that developed at that time. Researchers are interested in analyzing the value of love for one's country in the poem "LIBYA JINĀḤU AL-'URŪBBAH" by Ali Sidqi Abdul Qadir. In analyzing the research object, the researcher used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The researcher then analyzed the data that had been recorded using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis. The findings in this research are that there is a fairly strong value of love for one's homeland from the author of poetry as well as a call to love the country which is none other than Libya as the homeland of the Libyan people. The conclusion of this research is that the values and propaganda of love for the country were found in the poem after the poem was analyzed in terms of text, discourse practice, and sociocultural practice.

Abstract

The importance of FGD (Focus Group Discussion) in Arabic language learning cannot be underestimated. Without FGDs, communication skills and Arabic vocabulary acquisition will stagnate. FGD is not just a method, but a vital bridge that connects students with a deep understanding of culture, context, and linguistic nuances that cannot be achieved through conventional methods. Therefore, this study aims to examine and apply the Focus Group Discussion method to Arabic language learning in the Islamic Counseling Guidance Study Program of Institut Nahdlatul Ulama (INU) Ciamis and identify the challenges and successes in applying the FGD method to Arabic language learning. The research method used involves qualitative analysis of data from classroom observations and document analysis. The data analysis technique used in this research is the Miles and Huberman data analysis model, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study explain the implementation of the Focus Group Discussion method comprehensively from the opening of the FGD to the closing. The challenge found in the implementation of the FGD method is the limited time that is already tight according to the lecture schedule. The success is the active participation of students in equalizing perceptions together with a deeper understanding.
