Abstract

This study aims to describe or describe the stages and processes of implementing the Computer-Based School Examination (USBK) describing and explaining how the implementation of the Computer-Based School Exam, describing and analyzing the success rate of implementing the Computer-Based School Exam, describing the obstacles in the implementation of the Computer-Based School Exam in Indonesia. SMPN 5 Sungai Penuh City. This research method is a qualitative method with the type of case study research. The design of this research uses informants, namely principals, teachers, students and USBK operators. Teacher participants who teach in the classroom can be seen from the demographic data of participants in the form of gender, years of service, education level. USBK Research Results have a good impact on teachers, schools, and students. For teachers, by using a computer, it is easier to correct students' test results. For the USBK school, it helps to determine the quality and quality of school education and understanding of student learning materials, then students can increase their self-confidence and the value of honesty and transparency in the implementation of the exam. As well as being able to help students in understanding Technology, Conclusions, USBK is an alternative technology-based exam that makes it easy for all parties involved in the evaluation of student learning, the implementation of USBK at SMP N 5 Sungai Penuh City is running smoothly and has been well prepared by the school regarding the necessary facilities and infrastructure. Abstract

The purpose of this research is develop a video tutorial for making freshwater clam meatballs (P.expressa) based on entrepreneurial values ​​for high school students. This type of research is R&D research that refers to the 4D development model. The results showed that the entrepreneurial values ​​integrated into the video tutorials are innovation and creativity, commitment, confidence, and hard work. The results of the validation of material experts are 85% and media experts are 90%. The test results of the biology study teacher in the material aspect were 87.5%, the video display aspect was 87.5%, and the benefit aspect was 95%. The results of the perception of the display aspect were 87.4%, the content aspect of the tutorial video was 91.4%, and the benefit aspect was 91.7%. Thus, the entrepreneurship-based video tutorial for making freshwater clam meatballs (P.expressa) is deemed feasible to be used as a learning medium for Animalia material, the role of mollucs in life.

Abstract

Multimedia learning can be used to help facilitate the process and understanding in learning, and increase interest in learning, this is because it is presented with attractive pictures and animations, accompaniment music and voice presenters, short duration of time, using a scientific approach in accordance with the revised 2013 curriculum. This study aims to: 1) Develop a scientific-based learning multimedia design for elementary students 2). Knowing the feasibility of scientific-based learning multimedia for elementary students, 3). The response of teachers and students to learning media as a result of development. This type of research is research and development (R & D). The development design model refers to the 4D model with 4 stages, namely: Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The research instruments used were observation sheets and questionnaires. The data obtained are in the form of qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data is in the form of comments and suggestions from experts/validators of media and materials. Quantitative data were obtained from questionnaire scores with a Likert range scale. The feasibility of the product is assessed based on the feasible and very feasible product category with a percentage between 80-100%. Media that are already feasible are tested on small group and large group test subjects. The results of the assessment from media experts got 92% with very valid criteria, and from material experts it was 86.7% with very valid criteria. The results of the feasibility/practical assessment through student response questionnaires at the trial stage show very practical criteria

Abstract

Kuala Tungkal is a district located in the east coast Province of Jambi. Kuala Tungkal has excellent potential in the field of fisheries. Various types of fish sold in the Parit 1 Kuala Tungkal Market. Fish is a among the examples of the diversity of fauna in Indonesia. This diversity needs to be introduced to students to improve the contextuality of learning. This study aims to determine the type of fishes being sold in the market. Student and teacher perceptions about the book that developed based on the results of fish studies in the Parit 1 Market. This research is descriptive and analytic. The study describes the type of fishes being sold in the Parit 1 Kuala Tungkal Market through direct observation and interviews with fish traders, as well as the perceptions of students and teachers of high school of Kuala Tungkal (SMA N 1 Kuala Tungkal) about the book. The results showed there are 23 species of saltwater fish from 15 families and 7 species of freshwater fish from 6 families. Students appraised the book belongs as “very good” with a value of 94% and teachers also appraised the book as “very good” with a value 86,7%.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the implementation of reading interest through the reading corner program at SD Negeri 198/III Kemantan Tinggi. This research was conducted from January to February 2021 at SD Negeri 198/III Kemantan Tinggi. This research is a phenomenological qualitative research. The subjects in the study were classroom teachers and students at SD Negeri 198/III Kemantan Tinggi, Kec. East Warm Water, Kab. Kerinci, Prov. Jambi. Collecting data in this study using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research at SD Negeri 198/III Kemantan Tinggi showed that with the existence of a reading corner in each class, students had a high interest in reading, this can be seen from the reading activities carried out by students during break time, when learning hours have not started.

Abstract

This research was conducted State Elementary School 05/II Air Gemuruh in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. This type of research is a qualitative research type of phenomenology. The subjects of this study were the principal and four teachers consisting of grade II, III, IV and V teachers. Data collection techniques used interview, observation and documentation techniques as well as data analysis techniques by collecting data, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are viewed from how the application of blended learning, preparation and implementation, mastery of technology, facilities and infrastructure, difficulties and efforts and evaluation. The application of blended learning at SD Negeri 05/II Air Gemuruh has met the requirements according to the health protocol.

Abstract

Berdasarkan wawancara MGMP Biologi di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat diketahui bahwa guru-guru biologi disana masih menggunakan model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru (teacher centered) dan minat belajar siswa terhadap pelajaran biologi masih belum memuaskan. Rendahnya minat dan hasil belajar biologi dapat disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, kurangnya buku pelajaran biologi yang menarik minat siswa, tidak ada buku referensi lain yang mendukung pemahaman siswa di perpustakaan, ketiadaan pelatihan dan pendidikan bagi guru, sarana prasarana yang tidak memadai dan cara guru menyajikan pembelajaran biologi yang tidak menarik dan membosankan. Maka dari itu tim Tim Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat dari Program studi Pendidikan Biologi tergerak untuk ikut berperan serta mewujudkan upaya memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut dengan melakukan workshop model pembelajaran biologi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru-guru biologi dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran dan berkomunikasi. Prosedur kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan di MGMP Tanjung jabung Barat adalah melakukan workshop model pembelajaran biologi yang berkonsep student centered. Kemudian mendesain model pembelajaran biologi yang sesuai. Mengevaluasi ketercapaian peningkatan pembelajaran biologi dengan proses mengajar menggunakan model pembelajaran student centered. Kegiatan PPM dilakukan pada tanggal 31 Juli 2019 di SMA N 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 20 orang guru biologi yang tergabung dalam MGMP Tanjung Jabung Barat. Kegiatan ini berlangsung lancar dan diikuti dengan antusias oleh peserta pelatihan. Guru biologi mendapatkan pengetahuan tentang model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum 2013. Meliputi model Discovery Learning, Project-based Learning, Group Investigation, Problem-based Learning, dan Inquiry learning. Model-model pembelajaran tersebut diseusaikan dengan pendekatan saintifik yang meliputi kegiatan mengamati, menanya, mengumpulkan informasi, mengasosiasi, dan mengkomunikasikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Guided Inquiry learning model on the Science Process Skills (KPS) of Biology Education students at the University of Jambi in 2017/2018 in the Animal Physiology practicum. The method used is true experiment with Post-Test Only Control Design. The research data was obtained by providing a scientific knowledge test in the form of a post-test and an observation sheet for students' science process skills during practicum activities. The results showed that the average value of KPS in the experimental class was 88.24 and the control class was 68.82 with tcount = 36.20. The average scientific knowledge of the experimental class students is 75.35 and the control class is 70.18 with tcount = 7.49. In conclusion, applying the inquiry model to the improvement of KPS and scientific knowledge of Biology Education students at Jambi University in Animal Physiology practicum is an effect. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran menggunakan Lectora Inspire 17 pada materi mamalia kelas X SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan mengunakan model 4 D. penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 12 Kota Jambi pada bulan September 2018. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menyebarkan angket kepada validator ahli media, ahli materi dan satu orang guru mata pelajaran biologi, uji coba kelompok kecil yang terdiri dari 9 orang, uji coba kelompok besar yang terdiri dari 35 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian validasi ahli media diperoleh skor 85% termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik, validasi ahli materi diperoleh skor 91% masuk kedalam kategori sangat baikaa. Hasil ujicoba terhadap guru mata pelajaran diperoleh persentase sebesar 87,5% termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh persentase 88,19% termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik. Dan hasil uji coba kelompok besar diperoleh persentase 80,2% termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran menggunakan Lectora Inspire 17 yang dikembangkan telah layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan yang ditemukan adalah siswa masih merasa kesulitan dalam pembelajaran biologi serta belum adanya pengembangan booklet filum moluska sebagai bahan ajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa booklet filum moluska sebagai sumber belajar untuk siswa SMA kelas X dan mengetahui respon guru dan siswa terhadap media booklet yang dikembangkan. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah Model 4-D Define (pendefinisian), Design (Merancang produk), Development (Mengembangkan) dan Disseminate (Menyebarluaskan). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa booklet yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi moluska pada kelas X. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil validasi ahli materi yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali dengan memperoleh penilaian rata-rata sebesar 70% dengan kategori “baik” dan 82% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Validasi ahli media dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali mendapatkan penilaian rata-rata 71% dengan kategori “baik” dan 85% dengan kategori “sangat baik” . Hasil penilaian guru bidang studi biologi di SMAN 4 Kota Jambi yaitu 95% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Selanjutnya ujicoba kelompok kecil sebanyak 8 orang siswa terhadap booklet filum moluska memperoleh penilaian rata-rata yaitu 91,3% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik” serta uji coba kelompok besar pada 36 orang siswa memperoleh penilaian rata-rata sebesar 92,7% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Dari hasil penelitian ini di ketahui bahwa booklet filum moluska sebagai sumber belajar siswa kelas X dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. ABSTRACT The problems found are that students still find it difficult to learn biology and there is no development of phylum mollusc booklets as teaching materials. This study aims to develop learning media in the form of mollusc phylum booklets as a learning resource for high school students in class X and to find out the responses of teachers and students to the developed booklet media. The model used in this development research is the 4-D Model Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the booklet that has been developed is feasible to be used as a learning medium for mollusc material in class X. This can be seen from the results of the material expert validation carried out 2 times by obtaining an average rating of 70% in the "good" category and 82 % with the category "very good". Media expert validation was carried out 2 times getting an average rating of 71% in the "good" category and 85% in the "very good" category. The results of the teacher's assessment in the field of biology studies at SMAN 4 Jambi City are 95% with the "very good" category. Furthermore, the small group trial of 8 students on the mollusk phylum booklet obtained an average rating of 91.3% which was included in the "very good" category and the large group trial of 36 students obtained an average rating of 92.7% which included in the "very good" category. From the results of this study, it is known that the phylum mollusk booklet as a learning resource for class X students is declared suitable for use in learning.
