Abstract

This research aims 1) to determine the description of the speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years in the control class before and after implementing the storytelling method using picture story books at the Nur Suci KB, Pangkep Regency. 2) To find out the description of the speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years in the experimental class before and after implementing the storytelling method using picture story books at KB Nur Suci Pangkep Regency, 3) To find out the differences in speaking skills between the control class and the experimental class after being given method treatment telling stories using picture story books for children aged 5-6 years at KB Nur Suci Pangkep Regency. Research design using Quasi Experimental Design. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, tests and documentation. The subjects in this study were 13 people in the control group and 13 people in the experimental group. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence in the application of the storytelling method using picture story books on the speaking skills of children in group B at KB Nur Suci Pangkep Regency, with the results showing that the value obtained from the experimental group obtained an Asymp Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

Pada kegiatan ini peneliti bertujuan untuk membantu anak meningkatkan kemampuan motoric halus melalui pembelajaran yang inovatif menggunakan kuas dalam melukis. Dari hasil observasi di lembaga TK Ratu zaleha terdapat 80% dari jumlah peserta didik yang ada pada kelompok B tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 mempunyai kemampuan tergolong rendah berdasarkan identifikasi maslah dan tindakan yang di lakukan di kelompok B di TK Ratu zaleha. Peneliti memperoleh data penelitian dari 5 anak yang mengikuti kegiatan melukis menggunakan kuas terdapat 4 orang anak yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan motoric halus menggunakan jari – jari tangannya. Berdasarkan hasil data penelitian melalui kegiatan melukis menggunakan kuas sesuai dengan perintah dinyatakan berhasil dan diterima sebagai cara meningkatkan kemampuan motoric halus.Kata kunci : Kemampuan fisik, motorik halus, melukis, sesuai perintah

Abstract

This training program aims to enhance the competency of kindergarten teachers in teaching English to young learners in Rappocini District, Makassar City. The training combines theoretical and practical approaches, including simulations, workshops, and relevant material development. The focus is on interactive teaching by using songs, stories, games, and crafts to create a fun learning environment for children. Through phases of preparation, theoretical instruction, practice, and evaluation, participants are provided opportunities to refine their teaching skills and confidence in delivering English lessons. Results indicate that teachers improved their creativity and variety in lesson planning, which is expected to positively impact the quality of English education at the early childhood level and establish a replicable training model for other regions.

Abstract

Pelatihan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Kabupaten Wajo bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru PAUD dalam merancang pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan asesmen yang lebih fleksibel berbasis teknologi. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 100 peserta yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, pengawas, penilik, dan guru PAUD dari lembaga pendidikan formal dan non-formal. Pelatihan dilakukan dalam dua hari dengan empat tahapan utama: identifikasi masalah dan kebutuhan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik langsung dalam penyusunan tema pembelajaran serta modul ajar dan penggunaan asesmen berbasis teknologi yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa 85% peserta berhasil merancang tema pembelajaran yang relevan dengan konteks lokal lembaga, 80% peserta berhasil menyusun modul ajar serta 60% saat pelatihan guru telah mencoba menggunakan teknologi dalam kegiatan asesmen. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan dalam mengakses internet dan kesulitan dalam menyesuaikan tema dan capaian pembelajaran (CP) yang selalu mengalami perubahan dengan kondisi riil di lapangan. Meskipun demikian, peserta menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi terhadap perubahan dalam perencanaan pembelajaran dan asesmen berbasis teknologi. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Kabupaten Wajo dengan dukungan lanjutan dari pemerintah daerah dalam hal pendampingan dan peningkatan kapasitas guru. Abstract

ABSTRAK Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM): Pelatihan Pembuatan Media Pembelajaran Loose Parts untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Literasi Anak Usia Dini di Taman Kanak-kanak, ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam mengembangkan potensi anak untuk mengatualisasikan dirinya melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran loose parts pada satuan pendidikan khususnya di Taman Kanak-kanak. PKM ini dilaksanakan selama bulan Oktober 2022 dengan mitra dengan guru-guru taman kanak-kanak yang di fasilitasi oleh SMKN PAKU Kecamatan Binuang Kabupaten Polman Sulawesi Barat. Peserta PKM ini terdiri atas guru dan kepala sekolah satuan PAUD. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab dan penugasan. Analisis tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan PKM ini adalah melalui pengukuran tingkat penguasaan materi serta penyelesaian tugas. Kondisi akhir pelaksanaan kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta dapat memahami bagaimana mendesaian media pembelajaran loose parts untuk meningkatkan memapuan literasi anak usia dini di Taman Kanak-kanak. Keberhasilan PKM ini dapat dilihat dari tingginya partisipasi dan animo serta kedisiplinan peserta selama mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru Taman Kanak-Kanak di Kecamatan Polombangkeng Selatan, Kabupaten Takalar, melalui pelatihan penerapan Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis kearifan lokal Makassar. Kegiatan dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen Universitas Negeri Makassar selama enam bulan dengan melibatkan 35 guru TK mitra yang tergabung dalam Ikatan Guru Taman Kanak-Kanak Indonesia (IGTKI). Latar belakang program ini berangkat dari rendahnya pemahaman guru terhadap konsep dan penerapan PjBL serta minimnya integrasi nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam proses pembelajaran anak usia dini. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui lima tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi, ceramah, demonstrasi, workshop, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap konsep PjBL sebesar 34%, serta 87% guru mampu menerapkan model ini dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Guru juga semakin kreatif dalam mengintegrasikan unsur budaya lokal seperti permainan tradisional, cerita rakyat, dan kegiatan budaya ke dalam pembelajaran. Dampak kegiatan meliputi peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak melalui pembelajaran kontekstual, terbentuknya komunitas guru inovatif PjBL berbasis kearifan lokal, serta peningkatan kolaborasi antara guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat dalam mendukung proses pendidikan anak usia dini. Program ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran PAUD sekaligus pelestarian nilai budaya daerah sebagai bagian dari upaya memperkuat karakter generasi muda.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in children's listening skills before and after being treated with the storytelling method using pop-up book media and to determine whether or not there was an effect of storytelling method using pop-up book media on children's listening ability in Mentari Kindergarten, Kabupaten Mentari. Takalar. The approach in this research is quantitative with the type of research is Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this study were groups A and B in Mentari Kindergarten, Takalar Regency totaling 26 children and the sampling used was purposive sampling with 14 children, 7 children as the experimental group and 7 children as the control group. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and nonparametric analysis. The results showed that there were differences in children's listening skills before and after being treated with the storytelling method using pop-up book media and there was an effect of storytelling using pop-up book media on children's listening skills in Mentari Kindergarten, Takalar Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Colorful Wordwall media on the literacy skills of 5-6 year old children at Kindergarten Multazam, Gowa Regency. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type. The sampling in this research is all children aged 5-6 years at Kindergarten Multazam. The sampling in this research is purposive sampling. The sample in this study consisted of 24 children, 12 children as the experimental group and 12 children as the control group. The data collection technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the literacy skills of children given treatment using Colorful Wordwall media in the experimental group were better than the control group. The results of the data analysis showed an increase in the average in the experimental group of 9.58, while in the control group it was 8.66. The test results showed sig. (2-tailed) 0.002 < 0.05, so Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that colorful wordwall media has a significant effect on the literacy skills of 5-6 year old children at Kindergarten Multazam, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

The central problem of this study is the creativity of children aged 4-5 years at Multazam Kindergarten. The children consistently demonstrate a tendency to await instructions from their teachers whenever they engage in the construction of toys or other activities. Their objective is to emulate existing practices rather than to devise novel ones. The objective of this study is to ascertain the impact of Puzzle Stick Media on the creativity of children aged four to five at Multazam Kindergarten in Gowa Regency. The research approach employed is a quantitative approach, with the type of research Quasi-Experimental Design. The population of this study comprised 30 children aged 5-6 years at Mekar Sari Palampang Kindergarten. The sampling method employed in this study was purposive sampling. The sample in this study consisted of 12 children, 6 children as the experimental group and 6 children as the control group. The data collection technique employed in this study is descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. The findings of the study indicate that the creativity of children in the experimental group who participated in play activities involving puzzle stick media demonstrated superiority in comparison to the control group. The findings of the data analysis demonstrated a mean increase of 29.67 in the experimental group, while the control group exhibited a mean increase of 18.83. The statistical significance of these results is indicated by the p-value. In the event that the two-tailed test result is less than 0.027 and greater than or equal to 0.05, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that puzzle stick media exerts a significant effect on the creativity of children aged 4-5 years at Multazam Kindergarten, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

The development of creativity in early childhood education requires innovative and developmentally appropriate learning media, yet culturally relevant instructional resources remain limited. This study aims to develop and evaluate local culture–based diorama media to enhance early childhood creativity. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Four-D (4D) model, this study involved early childhood learners and teachers at Telkom Makassar Kindergarten. Data were collected through needs analysis, expert validation, teacher responses, and creativity assessments. The results show that the developed diorama media and its guidebook are valid and practical for classroom use and effectively improve children’s creativity. These findings suggest that local culture–based diorama media can serve as an effective alternative learning resource to support creativity development in early childhood education.
