Abstract

This research is motivated by the low writing skills of students due to teacher-centered learning so that students tend to be passive. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model on writing skills of procedural text writing skills in fourth grade students of SDN Mranak 2. The study used a quantitative method with a Pre-Experimental One-Group Pretest–Posttest design on 24 students, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and written tests. Data analysis used a paired sample T-Test to determine the average difference and the N-Gain Effectiveness Test to determine the interpretation of effectiveness with the help of SPSS 27. The results of the study showed a significance value of 0.001 <0.05 so that H_0 was rejected and H_a was accepted and the N-Gain value of 60.43% was included in the category of moderate effectiveness interpretation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is effectiveness in the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model assisted by smartstep media in in-depth learning on procedural text writing skills.

Abstract

A study conducted at SD 2 Jepang focused on improving elementary school students' learning outcomes in Pancasila Education by implementing the Problem- Based Learning model assisted by utagory media. The research aimed to address issues including lack of student interest, low classroom engagement, monotonous lectures, and limited learning media. The research followed a quantitative experimental model, using a one-group pretest posttest design with a sample size of 25 students. Various data collection techniques were employed, such as tests, interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings revealed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with an average pretest score of 48.2 and an average posttest score of 77. The hypothesis testing confirmed the impact of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by utagory media, as indicated by a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, confirming that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, the study demonstrated that the application of this learning model positively influenced Pancasila Education in the fourth-grade class at SD 2 Jepang.

Abstract

Teacher-centered learning results in low critical thinking skills of elementary school students. Initial observations in grade IV of SD Negeri Sukolilo 02 showed low student activity and minimal involvement in higher-order thinking processes in Pancasila Education learning on social and cultural diversity. To overcome these problems, the Discovery Learning learning model was implemented. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Discovery Learning model on the critical thinking skills of grade IV students of SD Negeri Sukolilo 02. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental method and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were grade IV students of SD Negeri Sukolilo 02. Data collection techniques included tests, observations, and documentation with instruments in the form of critical thinking ability test questions. Data analysis was carried out using the SPSS program through a paired sample t-test. The results showed an increase in students' critical thinking skills after the implementation of the Discovery Learning model. The average pretest score of 45.60 increased to 80.80 in the posttest. The results of the hypothesis test show a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus, the application of the Discovery Learning model has a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills in Pancasila Education learning for grade IV of SD Negeri Sukolilo 02.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the difficulty students face in understanding mathematical concepts, resulting in incomplete mathematics learning. The objective of this research is to improve the conceptual understanding of mathematics among third-grade students at SDN 1 Bakalan Krapyak through the implementation of a contextual learning model. This study employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted over two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 23 third-grade students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and learning outcome tests. The results show an improvement in students’ conceptual understanding in each cycle. The average class score increased from 72 in the first cycle to 82 in the second cycle. The percentage of students achieving mastery learning improved from 65.2% in cycle I to 82.6% in cycle II. It is concluded that the contextual learning model successfully enhanced students’ conceptual understanding, having met the success criteria of an average score of ≥ 70. Teachers are encouraged to fully utilize contextual learning not just as an alternative, but as a primary teaching method.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) students' lack of preparation for their future often contributes to the high unemployment rate among vocational graduates. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to implement the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Implementing, and Controlling) management function as a framework for SMK Sasmita Jaya 2 students to manage their career and academic planning more systematically and purposefully. The methods used include outreach, participatory discussions, and mentoring in utilizing professional digital platforms to support job readiness and self-development. The activity results indicate an increase in student awareness in setting clearer, more realistic, and measurable post-graduation goals. The implementation of the POAC strategy has been proven to help students transform intentions into concrete steps through the development of a focused and sustainable action plan. In addition, students are able to develop a more structured career roadmap based on their interests and competencies, and increase their confidence in facing job selection and further education. This program also encourages collaboration with industry and alumni to broaden students' horizons and future career opportunities.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang baik adalah sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa. Model atau media pembelajaran yang digunakan akan mempengaruhi tingkat keberhasilan belajar siswa. Salah satunya pembelajaran yang tidak sesuai akan menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar. Maka, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS siswa dengan menggunakan penerapan model Teams Games Tournaments. Pemilihan model ini dikarenakan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa yang aktif dan mendukung terciptanya pembelajaran yang menyenangkan serta bermakna.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pembelajaran. Penelitian tindakan kelas melalui empat tahap meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi (pengamatan) dan refleksi. Keberhasilan belajar siswa dilihat berdasarkan indikator ketuntasan hasil belajar yaitu dengan nilai KKTP sebesar 75. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh ketuntasan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV pada siklus I yaitu sebesar 66,7% dan 33,3% siswa belum tuntas dengan rata-rata nilai siswa 73,5. Sedangkan pada siklus II diperoleh hasil ketuntasan belajar IPAS yaitu sebesar 80,9% dan 19,1 siswa belum tuntas dengan rata-rata nilai 81,7. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa model Teams Games Tournaments dalam pembelajaran IPAS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan siginifikan. Hal ini dikarenakan motivasi belajar IPAS siswa menjadi tinggi.  Dalam penerapan model TGT perlu adanya manajemen waktu yang baik agar tetap berjalan efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika menekankan pada konsep, karena siswa perlu menguasai konsep terlebih dahulu sebelum dapat memecahkan masalah dan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan nyata. Namun, pembelajaran yang masih monoton dan pemilihan model pembelajaran yang tidak tepat menjadikan rendahnya pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media TRYDBOOK terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif Pre-Experimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas IV SD 1 Karangmalang dengan jumlah 24 siswa sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Teknik analisis data dengan uji normalitas, uji paired sample t-test dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata nilai pretest dan posttest dengan nilai signifikansi 2-tailed sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sedangkan hasil uji N-Gain diperoleh skor rata-rata 0,69 dalam kategori sedang dengan persentase 69,32% yang ditafsirkan cukup efektif. Dengan demikian, model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media TRYDBOOK cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.

Abstract

The issue of the Minimum Competency Test (AKM) in Indonesia is a crucial educational problem because it affects the quality of learning, students' academic development, and the effectiveness of the education system. This study aims to examine the effect of implementing differentiation strategies on improving students’ literacy and numeracy skills in elementary schools, particularly in the context of AKM. Using a quantitative experimental design, this study involved two groups of students: an experimental group that implemented differentiation strategies and a control group that used traditional teaching methods. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests to measure changes in literacy and numeracy skills. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant increase in AKM scores compared to the control group. The average post-test score in the experimental group increased substantially, while the control group showed only a small increase. These findings confirm that differentiation strategies are effective in improving students’ literacy and numeracy skills. This study also shows that teaching tailored to individual student needs can yield better results in AKM. The results of this study are expected to provide educators and policymakers with valuable insights for designing more effective and inclusive teaching methods to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. Thus, differentiation strategies can be a solution in overcoming the challenges of low literacy and numeracy among Indonesian students, as well as improving overall competency test results.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis penerapan model Think Pair Share (TPS) berbantuan media ular tangga dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa pada pembelajaran tema daerah tempat tinggalku pada anak kelas IV SD di desa Sinanggul RT 14 RW 03 Mlonggo Jepara.Penelitian tindakan partisipatif ini akan dilaksanakan di rumah anak kelas IV SD di desa Sinanggul dengan subjek penelitian 4 anak, penelitian ini berlangsung selama dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pelaksanaan, dan pengamatan serta refleksi. Variable bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media ular tangga, Sedangkan variable terikat adalah keterampilan berkomunikasi anak kelas IV SD di desa Sinanggul RT 14 RW 03 Mlonggo Jepara. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Data yang telah diperoleh dari tindakan dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam penerapan model Think Pair Share berbantuan media ular tangga. Angka keterampilan guru yang sebelumnya 62% menjadi 82%, (2) terdapat peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dari 0% menjadi 50% pada siklus 1 dan 2, (3) keterampilan berkomunikasi yang dimiliki siswa meningkat setelah diberikan tindakan, hal ini dibuktikann dengan siswa yang berani mengutarakan pendapatnya di depan umum.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze learning needs, develop the SEHATI model, and evaluate its potential to improve early childhood social-emotional development across different cognitive styles. The study employed a R & D approach adapted from Borg and Gall, consisting of six stages: needs analysis, planning, product development, preliminary testing, revision, and field testing. Participants were 45 children from three early childhood education institutions. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and the CEFT to classify field-dependent and field-independent cognitive styles. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a paired-sample t-test. Expert and practitioner validation indicated that the SEHATI model was highly feasible, with an average validity score of 92.2%. Field testing showed an increase in children's social-emotional development scores from 51.3% (pretest) to 78.8% (posttest), with an N-gain score of 0.57 in the moderate category. Children with both field-dependent and field-independent cognitive styles demonstrated positive improvement, although field-dependent children showed slightly higher gains. The paired-sample t-test revealed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (p < .05). These findings suggest that the SEHATI model has strong potential to support social-emotional development through experiential learning assisted by Aji Saka 3D animation while accommodating differences in children's cognitive styles.
