Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh luas lahan, benih, pupuk, tenaga kerja dan pengalaman berusahatani terhadap produksi usahatani padi sawah di Desa Dumati Kecamatan Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama dua bulan yaitu bulan April sampai dengan Bulan Mei 2025. Penelitian ini melibatkan 54 orang petani yang tersebar di Desa Dumati. Metode penelitian adalah survei. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa luas lahan, benih, pupuk, tenaga kerja, dan pengalaman berusahatani secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi usahatani padi sawah di Desa Dumati, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 97,10%. Kemudian hasil pengujian secara parsial ditemukan bahwa Luas lahan berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap produksi usahatani padi sawah di Desa Dumati dengan koefisien determinasi parsial sebesar 17,90%, Benih berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produksi usahatani padi sawah di Desa Dumati dengan koefisien determinasi parsial sebesar 37,90%, Pupuk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produksi usahatani padi sawah di Desa Dumati dengan koefisien determinasi parsial sebesar 40,40%, Tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap Produksi usahatani padi sawah di Desa Dumati dengan koefisien determinasi parsial sebesar 0,70%, dan Pengalaman berusahatani berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap produksi usahatani padi sawah di Desa dengan koefisien determinasi parsial sebesar 0,20%.

Abstract

The current land suitability criteria for konjac are incomplete and fail to consider land dimensions and quality, which influence optimal yield. This research aims to develop criteria for konjac land suitability based on the dimensions, quality, and characteristics of selected land. In Gorontalo Province, Indonesia, 131 land units were surveyed to obtain data on the quality and characteristics. Selection of land dimensions, quality, and characteristics using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS). Meanwhile, the optimum yield and distinguished land suitability criteria for konjac plants using the boundary line method. The results indicated that intrinsic and extrinsic dimensions determined the new land suitability criteria. In the intrinsic dimension, land quality was assessed based on root conditions, oxygen availability, nutrient availability, nutrient retention, and sodicity. For the extrinsic dimension, land quality only comprised temperature, water availability, land preparation, and erosion hazard. Land characteristics in the intrinsic dimension consisted of soil drainage, texture, bulk density, particle density, porosity, pH, organic C, CEC, base saturation, total N, available P, and exchangeable K. For the extrinsic dimension, land characteristics included slope, soil erosion, surface rocks, and rock outcrops. The highest optimum yield of konjac was 9.17 t/ha, and the lowest was 6.69 t/ha, respectively.

Abstract

Variabilitas dan perubahan iklim mengakibatkan terjadinya kesenjangan pola penghidupan masyarakat khususnya dalam memproteksi ketersediaan pangan, kesehatan, jejaring sosial, dan bencana alam. Ada banyak hal yang telah direkomendasikan untuk masyarakat lokal, namun memahami pola kehidupannya sebagai bagian dari mitigasi dan adaptasi perlu dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur kerentanan penghidupan masyarakat lokal karena paparan perubahan iklim di kawasan Teluk Tomini. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan survei yang dilaksanakan pada Agustus - Oktober 2024 di Bone Bolango Provinsi Gorontalo dan Bolaang Mongondow Selatan Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 200 orang petani pada klaster komoditi pangan utama (padi dan jagung). Data penelitian dianalisis dengan analisis Livelihood Vulnerability Index-Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (LVI-IPCC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: kerentanan penghidupan di Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Selatan lebih rentan dibandingkan dengan Kabupaten Bone Bolango, dengan nilai indeks LVI 0,343 (rentan) berbanding 0,294 (cukup rentan), yang ditunjukkan dari tingginya nilai indeks sub-komponen bencana alam dan keragaman iklim, kesehatan, pangan, dan sosio-demografi. Demikian juga LVI-IPCC memiliki kerentanan lebih tinggi dengan nilai indeks 0,026 berbanding -0,006 pada eksposur dan kapasitas adaptif; dan indeks ketahanan pangan Kabupaten Bone Bolango lebih tahan dibandingkan dengan Bolaang Mongondow Selatan. Meningkatnya eksposur terkait variabilitas iklim dan bencana alam yang dibarengi dengan menurunnya kapasitas adaptif masyarakat berdampak pada kerentanan pola penghidupan di Bolaang Mongondow Selatan yang terpengaruh paparan perubahan iklim. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan bahwa penguatan kapasitas adaptif sangat penting dalam mengurangi kerentanan penghidupan akibat peningkatan eksposur, olehnya pola penghidupan masyarakat lokal perlu terintegrasi strategis dalam mitigasi dan adaptasi perubahan iklim setiap daerah di kawasan Teluk Tomini.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has significantly influenced business environments, creating both opportunities and challenges for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This study aims to analyze the strategic position of SMEs in the context of digital transformation using a SWOT framework. A qualitative descriptive research method was employed, utilizing literature review and semi-structured interviews with SME owners and industry practitioners to identify key internal and external factors affecting digital adoption. The findings reveal that SMEs possess strategic strengths such as operational agility, strong customer relationships, and owner-driven decision-making that can support digital transformation initiatives. However, internal weaknesses including limited financial resources, low technological capability, and resistance to organizational change hinder implementation. External opportunities such as growing digital markets, government support programs, and accessible digital tools provide potential pathways for digital acceleration, while threats including cybersecurity risks, regulatory pressures, and increasing digital competition create strategic uncertainties. The study concludes that successful digital transformation for SMEs requires leveraging internal strengths, addressing capability gaps, capitalizing on emerging opportunities, and mitigating external risks through strategic planning. These insights provide valuable implications for SMEs, policymakers, and ecosystem actors in developing capacity-building frameworks and supportive policies to foster sustainable digital transformation.

Abstract

Urban expansion in tropical cities significantly alters surface thermal conditions, intensifying the urban heat island (UHI) phenomenon. This study aims to estimate and analyze the spatiotemporal dynamics of land surface temperature (LST) in Gorontalo City from 1995 to 2025 using a spatial machine learning (SML) approach based on the Random Forest (RF) algorithm. Multitemporal Landsat 5, 7, 8, and 9 images were processed in Google Earth Engine (GEE) to derive surface reflectance, Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), emissivity, and brightness temperature, which were subsequently employed as predictor variables in the LST model. A total of 50 ground validation points were used to assess model performance. The RF model achieved high predictive accuracy with an R² of 0.833, RMSE of ±3.33 °C, and MAE of ±2.80 °C, outperforming conventional NDVI-based models. The long-term analysis revealed a consistent increase in LST across urbanized zones, particularly in the city center and northern districts, while areas with higher vegetation cover exhibited lower LST values. The negative correlation between NDVI and LST (R² = 0.3132) confirms the critical role of vegetation in mitigating urban thermal intensity. These findings highlight the applicability of the RF-based SML framework for accurate LST estimation and urban climate monitoring, providing a scientific basis for sustainable urban planning and green infrastructure development in tropical cities.

Abstract

Usahatani cabai di Indonesia kerap dihadapkan pada volatilitas harga dan risiko produksi yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh simultan faktor ekonomi (biaya produksi dan harga jual) dan faktor sosial (pendidikan dan pengalaman) terhadap pendapatan petani cabai di wilayah pesisir Kecamatan Bonepantai, Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dari 56 petani sampel dianalisis dengan model fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa faktor ekonomi secara statistik tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan (Sig. 0,392), mengindikasikan posisi petani sebagai price taker yang rentan distorsi pasar. Sebaliknya, faktor sosial berpengaruh positif dan sangat signifikan (Sig. 0,001) dengan koefisien elastisitas dominan sebesar 1,167. Usahatani berada pada kondisi Increasing Returns to Scale (1,400). Temuan ini menyimpulkan bahwa kapasitas manajerial dan pengalaman lebih menentukan keberhasilan ekonomi dibandingkan modal finansial. Rekomendasi kebijakan harus bergeser dari fokus subsidi fisik menuju investasi penguatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia melalui penyuluhan intensif. Kata Kunci : Cabai, Cobb-Douglas, Faktor Ekonomi, Faktor Sosial, Pendapatan Petani

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan finansial dan kontribusi ekonomi dari agribisnis jagung di Desa Kopi, Kecamatan Bulango Utara, Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis rasio penerimaan terhadap biaya (R/C ratio) dan Location Quotient (LQ). Data diperoleh melalui survei terhadap 41 petani jagung dengan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa R/C ratio sebesar 2,56 mengindikasikan bahwa usaha tani jagung di Desa Kopi layak secara finansial, dengan total pendapatan yang lebih besar daripada biaya produksi. Nilai LQ sebesar 1,25 menunjukkan bahwa jagung merupakan komoditas unggulan di daerah tersebut, dengan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perekonomian lokal. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti akses terhadap input, teknologi budidaya, dan informasi pasar mempengaruhi profitabilitas petani. Kebijakan pemerintah yang mendukung penyuluhan dan akses pembiayaan diperlukan untuk memperkuat kelayakan dan daya saing agribisnis jagung di tingkat pedesaan.

Abstract

Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) has emerged as a strategic framework for addressing the intertwined challenges of climate change, food security, and sustainable agricultural development. This study aims to map the global research landscape of Climate-Smart Agriculture using a bibliometric approach. Data were retrieved from the Scopus database and analyzed using VOSviewer to examine publication trends, co-authorship networks, institutional collaboration, country partnerships, keyword co-occurrence, overlay visualization, and density mapping. The results indicate that CSA research is strongly anchored in the broader discourse of climate change, with dominant themes including food security, adaptation, mitigation, sustainability, and smallholder resilience. The keyword clustering reveals three major intellectual streams: socio-economic resilience, environmental sustainability, and technological innovation. Overlay analysis shows a temporal shift from early vulnerability and adaptation-focused studies toward more recent research emphasizing smart agriculture, precision farming, and digital climate solutions. Collaboration networks demonstrate strong North–South and South–South partnerships, with India, the United States, Kenya, and Ethiopia emerging as key contributors. Institutional mapping highlights the central role of international agricultural research centers and universities in shaping the field. CSA research reflects a mature and interdisciplinary domain that increasingly integrates technological innovation with sustainability objectives. Future research should prioritize inclusive digital solutions, policy implementation analysis, and stronger collaboration among climate-vulnerable regions to enhance the transformative impact of CSA practices.
