Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) the description of the implementation of child-friendly schools, 2) the effect of child-friendly school programs on ansocial behavior. This type of research is quantitative with a population of 361 people. The research sample was taken using a random sampling technique with a total sample of 41 people. Data collection is done through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive and inferential techniques using SPSS version 24. The results of the study show that the friendly school program has provided space for students to avoid violence at school. This can be seen in the availability of shared reading rooms, open play areas. In addition, the research results also illustrate that variable X (child-friendly school programs) has a significant and very strong influence on variable Y (ansocial behavior). This is indicated by a significance value of 0.002 <0.05, meaning that there is a significant relationship and a coefficient value of 0.838 which indicates a very strong relationship. In addition, for variable X, the tcount value is 1.748. Where the number is > 1.685 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Programs from child-friendly schools that support extracurricular activities can attract students to actively participate in positive activities carried out by the school. So as to minimize the occurrence of anti-social actions, violence or bullying in the school environment, because students will be preoccupied with activities that simultaneously stimulate high social values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Pelaksanaan model pembelajaran problem based learning di Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang. 2) Pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 123 orang dan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 55 orang. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel yaitu simple random sampling dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan bantuan aplikasi IBM SPSS versi 22.Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pelaksanaan model pembelajaran problem based learning di Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang berada pada kategori “Sedang” dengan nilai rata-rata 56,33 pada interval nilai 51-60 dan nilai persentase 56,3%. 2) Pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang. Berdasarkan uji regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa bahwa nilai t hitung = 15,160 dengan tingkat signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05, maka regresi linear sederhana dapat dipakai untuk memprediksi variabel model pembelajaran problem based learning atau dengan kata lain terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning (X) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (Y) yang dapat dilihat dari nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 4,565 > 1,667 yang menunjukkan bahwa variabel model pembelajaran problem based learning memiliki pengaruh terhadap variabel prestasi belajar siswa dengan nilai R sebesar 0,558 dan nilai R Square sebesar 0,312. Berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kanang.  Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Problem Based Learning, Prestasi Belajar

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to examine (1) the factors in driving students' interest in K-Pop culture; and (2) the impact of K-pop culture on the students’ habits in Universitas Negeri Makassar. This research employed a descriptive analysis qualitative research method. There were 10 informants in collecting the data by employing a purposive sampling technique with the criteria students who like to upload photos or videos related to K-Pop or use K-Pop idol profiles on social media, use K-Pop symbols, and have a K-Pop style appearance. Data collection was conducted by employing observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity technique employed time triangulation, namely assessing the credibility of the data by checking the data obtained repeatedly at different times. Data analysis techniques were conducted by condensing the data, presenting the data and drawing conclusions. The results of the research reveal that (1) the factors in driving students' interest in K-Pop culture can be seen from (a) social media factors; (b) self-expression factor; and (c) peer and family factors; (2) the impact of K-Pop culture on the students’ habits in Universitas Negeri Makassar based on the positive impacts are as follows: (a) increasing networks to strengthen solidarity; (b) self-motivation to learn foreign languages and develop talents. Meanwhile, the negative impacts can be seen from (a) difficulty in managing the time; (b) wasteful; and (c) exclusive and selective in socializing.

Abstract

This research aimed to identify: 1) The role of Indonesian Family Planning Association (PKBI) peers in addressing gender-based violence in Makassar City, and 2) The driving and inhibiting factors influencing PKBI peers in handling gender-based violence in Makassar City. This study was qualitative in nature and employed a descriptive approach. The number of informants in this research was 11 people, selected using purposive sampling techniques, with the criteria including PKBI youth administrators, PKBI program implementers, staff of the Makassar City UPTD PPA, and victims of gender-based violence. The validity of the data was examined using triangulation, including technique triangulation and source triangulation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis included data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that the roles of PKBI peers in addressing gender-based violence in Makassar City included: a) the role as counselors, b) the role as medical personnel, c) the role as facilitators, d) the role as motivators, and e) the role as educators. The driving factors included: a) humanitarian pioneering, b) inter-institutional synergy, c) institutional networks or connections, d) program demands, and e) donor support. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors in addressing gender-based violence in Makassar City included: a) the busy schedules of PKBI youth, b) victims’ unwillingness to report, c) victims’ withdrawal during the handling process, and d) limited funding.

Abstract

This research aims to find out 1) How gender representation on the social media Instagram influences the way teenagers understand their own gender identity among teenagers in Je'nemadinding Village, Gowa Regency and 2) What is the impact of the construction of reality through the social media Instagram among teenagers in Je Village 'nemadinding, Gowa Regency. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The informants in this study were 10 people who were selected based on purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique in this research uses data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The data validation technique in this research uses the Member Check technique, which is a data collection technique by re-interviewing informants so that it is said to be valid. The results of this research show that: 1) Gender representation on the social media Instagram influences the way teenagers understand their own gender identity. Among teenagers in Je'nemadinging Village, Gowa Regency, there are several factors, namely, exposure to gender content on Instagram, understanding and perceptions about gender. , and the influence on self-image and self-confidence as well as self-identity. And 2) The impact of reality construction through Instagram social media among teenagers in Je'nemadinging Village, Gowa Regency is divided into two impacts, namely positive impacts and negative impacts, namely: positive impacts consist of: 1). There is educational content presented by content creators, 2). The emergence of various inspirations and motivations from various content that shows goodness, 3). The existence of online communities created by influencers can help teenagers get emotional and motivational support, 4). The existence of social connections on Instagram allows teenagers to connect with their friends, even from a distance, 5). The emergence of various self-development which provides space for teenagers to express themselves, and 6). Increasing teenagers' technology and digital skills. Meanwhile the negative impacts are: 1). There are social comparisons held by influencers or other individuals who present their ideal lives which often lead to feelings of not being good enough, insecurity, stress and anxiety, 2). There is pressure to always be perfect on social media which can cause stress and anxiety if teenagers feel unable to meet these expectations, 3). The large need for validation among teenagers, 4). There are health problems for individuals with excessive use of social media, 5). There is a lot of Instagram content that shows a very idealistic and unrealistic life, 6). There is exposure to negative content so that teenagers may be exposed to negative content such as cyberbullying, body shaming, or content that promotes dangerous behavior, 7). There is a decrease in face-to-face social interactions, when teenagers become dependent on social media, 8). There is an effect of decreasing productivity and 9). A lot of time is wasted when surfing Instagram.
