Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease characterized by a significant increase in blood glucose levels. This condition is caused by a deficiency of the hormone insulin or impaired insulin function in glucose metabolism. Signs and symptoms of diabetes mellitus include polyuria, polydipsia, polyphagia. The aim of this research is to examine and implement nursing care for patients with type II diabetes mellitus in the fighting room at Bangkinang Regional Hospital in 2025. This research method uses a descriptive research design in the form of a case study. Subjective in the case report is Mrs. During the assessment, the client feels weak, has no appetite, stomach ache, has nausea and vomiting, has a headache, and urinates frequently. Researchers formulated the main problem with the nursing diagnosis of blood glucose instability related to hyperglycemia (D.0027). The intervention given is monitoring blood glucose levels. In implementing nursing actions for Mrs.F with type II diabetes mellitus, they were carried out according to the nursing plan that had been prepared. The result of a three-day nursing visit to the client was that the problem was resolved. Nursing evaluation for three days on this client as a guide for researchers: as a goal for conducting research on Diabetes Mellitus, campus: as a reference in providing nursing care to patients.

Abstract

Wages are one of the important issues in Labor Law, particularly from the workers' perspective. The enactment of Law No. 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation in Indonesia, which was later revoked by Law No. 6 of 2023, introduced substantial changes to the structure of Labor Law, specifically in the existence of Alpha Coefficient as a substitute for KHL. This Alpha Coefficient is replacing the KHL and representing functions as an economic index sector variables in Indonesia. This study aims to examine two main issues: first, the legal and conceptual implications of replacing KHL with the Alpha Coefficient in calculating minimum wages; and second, the effect of this change on the authority and role of the Regional Wage Council as part of Indonesia’s fiscal decentralization policy. The research employs a statutory and conceptual approach supported by a review of the development of the national wage system. The findings indicate that the existence of the Alpha Coefficient enhances legal certainty by establishing a definitive parameter in wage calculations, thereby improving workers’ welfare protection. Furthermore, the Regional Wage Council’s position is strengthened through the restoration of tripartite negotiations, ensuring a more balanced and decentralized fiscal and also wage-setting mechanism. The Alpha Coefficient significantly increase the workers wealth by, following the main rights on Indonesian Constitution.

Abstract

Tuberkulosis (TB) paru merupakan penyakit infeksi menular yang masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat dengan tingginya angka penularan dan komplikasi, terutama pada pasien yang mengalami ketidakefektifan bersihan jalan napas. Kurangnya pengetahuan pasien mengenai teknik batuk efektif dan pencegahan penularan menjadi salah satu faktor yang memperberat kondisi dan menurunkan kualitas hidup penderita. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan perilaku pencegahan pada penderita TB paru melalui pendidikan kesehatan dan latihan batuk efektif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mulyorejo. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan edukasi, demonstrasi teknik, evaluasi pengetahuan, serta monitoring kepatuhan minum obat dan pencegahan penularan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor pengetahuan dari rata-rata 70.86 pada pretest menjadi 81,70 pada posttest, serta meningkatnya kemampuan peserta dalam melakukan teknik batuk efektif dengan benar. Kesimpulannya, intervensi pendidikan kesehatan dan latihan batuk efektif terbukti efektif meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pasien dalam mengelola penyakit serta membantu memutus rantai penularan TB di lingkungan keluarga.

Abstract

This study evaluates the operational efficiency and safety of Ammonium Nitrate loading and unloading at PT Kutai Jaya Pundinusa, Bontang, East Kalimantan. Given the material's hazardous nature, the research focuses on operational factors, including time efficiency, equipment capacity, workforce performance, and adherence to workplace safety standards. Using field observations, interviews, and qualitative data analysis, the study seeks to identify effectiveness hindrances and provide actionable recommendations. Its contribution lies in enhancing maritime supply chain management for hazardous materials, improving logistical efficiency, and strengthening safety protocols at industrial ports.

Abstract

This study This study aims to develop Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) teaching materials based on Bangka Belitung culture to prepare students of English Language Education (TBI) at IAIN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung as prospective BIPA teachers. The research employs a qualitative descriptive design with a research and development orientation. Data were collected through a needs analysis using questionnaires and interviews with fourth-semester TBI students and lecturers, as well as document analysis of existing BIPA syllabi and teaching materials. The needs analysis examined students’ language skills, language components, learning motivation, teaching styles, classroom management abilities, and familiarity with instructional strategies. Based on the findings, culture-based BIPA teaching materials were designed by integrating Bangka Belitung cultural content into listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities. Local cultural elements, including traditions, social practices, and regional values, were embedded to enhance communicative competence and intercultural awareness. To ensure the quality of the developed materials, content validity, design validity, and construct validity were applied through expert judgment and revision processes. The results indicate that the Bangka Belitung culture-based BIPA teaching materials are pedagogically appropriate, culturally relevant, and feasible for classroom implementation. This study concludes that integrating local culture into BIPA teaching materials not only supports effective Indonesian language learning for foreign speakers but also contributes to the internationalization of the Indonesian language and the preservation of regional cultural identity

Abstract

Pendahuluan : Harga diri rendah adalah salah satu masalah psikososial yang sering dialami oleh pasien gangguan jiwa di rumah sakit jiwa. Pasien dengan harga diri rendah cenderung menunjukkan perasaan tidak berharga, kurang percaya diri, dan menarik diri dari lingkungan sosial. Salah satu terapi yang dapat membantu meningkatkan harga diri adalah  terapi kelompok terapeutik seni pewarnaan ikat celup (tie dye ) yang melibatkan kreativitas, ekspresi diri, dan hasil karya yang dapat menimbulkan rasa bangga serta kepuasan pribadi bagi pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Penerapan terapi kelompok terapeutik seni pewarnaan ikat celup (tie dye ) terhadap peningkatan harga diri pasien harga diri rendah kronis di ruang rehabilitasi Rumah Sakit Jiwa Prof Dr Muhammad Ildrem Medan . Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi experiment dengan pendekatan one group pre-test and post-test dengan 20 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sesuai kriteria inklusi. Intervensi terapi dilakukan dalam 4 sesi terapi kelompok selama satu minggu. Pengukuran harga diri dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner Rosenverg Self-Esteen Scale sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil: Penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan  skor rata-rata harga diri pasien, nilai  sebelum mengikuti terapi 18.45 dan skor rata-rata harga diri pasien setelah selesai mengikuti terapi adalah 27.15. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan perbedaan signifikan setelah dilakukan terapi (p < 0,001). Kesimpulan: Responden menunjukkan perubahan perilaku positif seperti berani mengekspresikan pendapat, merasa bangga terhadap hasil karya sendiri, dan lebih aktif berinteraksi dengan anggota kelompok lain. Terapi ini dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif terapi untuk membantu pemulihan psikososial pasien.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keabsahan dan penegakan hukum pemungutan Pajak Barang dan Jasa Tertentu (PBJT) atas penyewaan tempat tinggal pribadi yang difungsikan sebagai hotel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam menjawab rumusan masalah ialah penelitian hukum dengan menggunakan pendekatan perundang-undangan, konseptual, dan komparatif dengan negara Belanda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa legalitas formal meliputi wewenang dan prosedur pemungutan PBJT tersebut telah sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan, namun dalam aspek legalitas substansial masih terdapat beberapa celah hukum, seperti kekosongan hukum mengenai salah satu objek PBJT, yaitu kondominium hotel, juga pemungutan yang belum menjangkau transaksi yang dilakukan di platform digital, selain itu, adanya Permendagri No. 15/2024 yang memberikan legitimasi bagi pemerintah daerah untuk tetap memungut pajak meskipun objek ilegal atau tidak memiliki izin. Hal tersebut berpotensi menimbulkan ketidakabsahan pemungutan PBJT terhadap objek ilegal dan memperlemah penegakan hukum. Sebagai dasar preskripsi, perbandingan dengan Belanda menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi pemungutan pajak atas penyewaan akomodasi jangka pendek sangat bergantung pada koordinasi lintas sektor, kewajiban pelaporan transaksi oleh platform digital, serta mekanisme pemblokiran iklan tanpa nomor registrasi, yang dapat menjadi rujukan bagi Indonesia.

Abstract

This video-based longitudinal study is the first in Papua to describe the profiles of eight basic teaching skills of prospective biology teachers who took the Microteaching course from 2020 to 2023. The study was conducted at the Biology Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Cenderawasih University, from April to May 2024. The population in this study consisted of 180 sixth-semester students enrolled in the Microteaching course, with a random sample of 45 students (25%) selected. Data collection techniques utilized an observation sheet for basic teaching skills. The results indicated that, on average, the basic teaching skill scores of prospective biology teachers were 62.47 (± 6.61), falling into the “adequate” category. Longitudinal studies provide authentic data that can also be used to measure various classroom learning activities.

Abstract

The unprecedented growth of digital payments has made the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS), introduced by Bank Indonesia, a crucial layer in Indonesia’s cashless infrastructure. As a Muslim-majority region with a high number of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), West Java is an appropriate context for understanding the implementation of QRIS. This study synthesizes the existing literature on QRIS and digital payment adoption through a systematic review of UTAUT- and UTAUT2-based studies. The results demonstrate that performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, habit, and trust are most often identified as determinants of behavioral intention and usage behavior, while evidence on age and gender differences remains mixed. The review also reveals limited attention to sub-national and Muslim-majority regional contexts and conceptually integrates technology acceptance, trust–risk, and socio-religious perspectives to provide a more contextual understanding of QRIS adoption. These findings offer implications for future research and policy-making on regional digital payment ecosystems.

Abstract

Indonesia currently faces serious environmental damage, which significantly disrupts the sustainability of national development. Students play a crucial role in environmental conservation efforts by fostering awareness of environmental preservation. Government policies, such as Decree of the Director General of Higher Education (Kepdirjen Dikti) Number 84/E/KPT/2020 and several other state and government regulations, constitute public policies in the field of education that can contribute to environmental sustainability. This study aims to analyze the profile, context, and substance of state and government policies on the Civics course, which are relevant to environmental sustainability efforts from a public policy and education perspective. The research used normative juridical, qualitative, and literature study methods. The normative juridical method examined the substance of government regulations, while the qualitative method employed interviews with several lecturers and students as informants. The literature study examined all relevant sources and documents in various forms. The results of the study indicate that several state and government regulations constitute policies for the realization of environmental sustainability, including those related to higher education. The environmental theme integrated into the Citizenship course is very strategic as a preventive measure against environmental damage. Government officials at the Ministry of Environment, law enforcement officers, officials from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek), university leaders, lecturers teaching Citizenship courses, environmental figures and activists, students, and other educational stakeholders are policy actors. The threat of increasingly severe environmental damage and the need for students to understand it are policy issues. The Ministry of Environment, the Indonesian National Police, Kemendiktisaintek, universities, and various institutions outside the government are policy institutions. The public's expectation of students who are aware of and responsible for environmental sustainability is a policy issue. Several policy elements need to be refined.
