Abstract

This study This study aims to develop Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) teaching materials based on Bangka Belitung culture to prepare students of English Language Education (TBI) at IAIN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung as prospective BIPA teachers. The research employs a qualitative descriptive design with a research and development orientation. Data were collected through a needs analysis using questionnaires and interviews with fourth-semester TBI students and lecturers, as well as document analysis of existing BIPA syllabi and teaching materials. The needs analysis examined students’ language skills, language components, learning motivation, teaching styles, classroom management abilities, and familiarity with instructional strategies. Based on the findings, culture-based BIPA teaching materials were designed by integrating Bangka Belitung cultural content into listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities. Local cultural elements, including traditions, social practices, and regional values, were embedded to enhance communicative competence and intercultural awareness. To ensure the quality of the developed materials, content validity, design validity, and construct validity were applied through expert judgment and revision processes. The results indicate that the Bangka Belitung culture-based BIPA teaching materials are pedagogically appropriate, culturally relevant, and feasible for classroom implementation. This study concludes that integrating local culture into BIPA teaching materials not only supports effective Indonesian language learning for foreign speakers but also contributes to the internationalization of the Indonesian language and the preservation of regional cultural identity

Abstract

Pendahuluan : Harga diri rendah adalah salah satu masalah psikososial yang sering dialami oleh pasien gangguan jiwa di rumah sakit jiwa. Pasien dengan harga diri rendah cenderung menunjukkan perasaan tidak berharga, kurang percaya diri, dan menarik diri dari lingkungan sosial. Salah satu terapi yang dapat membantu meningkatkan harga diri adalah  terapi kelompok terapeutik seni pewarnaan ikat celup (tie dye ) yang melibatkan kreativitas, ekspresi diri, dan hasil karya yang dapat menimbulkan rasa bangga serta kepuasan pribadi bagi pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Penerapan terapi kelompok terapeutik seni pewarnaan ikat celup (tie dye ) terhadap peningkatan harga diri pasien harga diri rendah kronis di ruang rehabilitasi Rumah Sakit Jiwa Prof Dr Muhammad Ildrem Medan . Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi experiment dengan pendekatan one group pre-test and post-test dengan 20 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sesuai kriteria inklusi. Intervensi terapi dilakukan dalam 4 sesi terapi kelompok selama satu minggu. Pengukuran harga diri dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner Rosenverg Self-Esteen Scale sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil: Penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan  skor rata-rata harga diri pasien, nilai  sebelum mengikuti terapi 18.45 dan skor rata-rata harga diri pasien setelah selesai mengikuti terapi adalah 27.15. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan perbedaan signifikan setelah dilakukan terapi (p < 0,001). Kesimpulan: Responden menunjukkan perubahan perilaku positif seperti berani mengekspresikan pendapat, merasa bangga terhadap hasil karya sendiri, dan lebih aktif berinteraksi dengan anggota kelompok lain. Terapi ini dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif terapi untuk membantu pemulihan psikososial pasien.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keabsahan dan penegakan hukum pemungutan Pajak Barang dan Jasa Tertentu (PBJT) atas penyewaan tempat tinggal pribadi yang difungsikan sebagai hotel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam menjawab rumusan masalah ialah penelitian hukum dengan menggunakan pendekatan perundang-undangan, konseptual, dan komparatif dengan negara Belanda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa legalitas formal meliputi wewenang dan prosedur pemungutan PBJT tersebut telah sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan, namun dalam aspek legalitas substansial masih terdapat beberapa celah hukum, seperti kekosongan hukum mengenai salah satu objek PBJT, yaitu kondominium hotel, juga pemungutan yang belum menjangkau transaksi yang dilakukan di platform digital, selain itu, adanya Permendagri No. 15/2024 yang memberikan legitimasi bagi pemerintah daerah untuk tetap memungut pajak meskipun objek ilegal atau tidak memiliki izin. Hal tersebut berpotensi menimbulkan ketidakabsahan pemungutan PBJT terhadap objek ilegal dan memperlemah penegakan hukum. Sebagai dasar preskripsi, perbandingan dengan Belanda menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi pemungutan pajak atas penyewaan akomodasi jangka pendek sangat bergantung pada koordinasi lintas sektor, kewajiban pelaporan transaksi oleh platform digital, serta mekanisme pemblokiran iklan tanpa nomor registrasi, yang dapat menjadi rujukan bagi Indonesia.

Abstract

The unprecedented growth of digital payments has made the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS), introduced by Bank Indonesia, a crucial layer in Indonesia’s cashless infrastructure. As a Muslim-majority region with a high number of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), West Java is an appropriate context for understanding the implementation of QRIS. This study synthesizes the existing literature on QRIS and digital payment adoption through a systematic review of UTAUT- and UTAUT2-based studies. The results demonstrate that performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, habit, and trust are most often identified as determinants of behavioral intention and usage behavior, while evidence on age and gender differences remains mixed. The review also reveals limited attention to sub-national and Muslim-majority regional contexts and conceptually integrates technology acceptance, trust–risk, and socio-religious perspectives to provide a more contextual understanding of QRIS adoption. These findings offer implications for future research and policy-making on regional digital payment ecosystems.

Abstract

Indonesia currently faces serious environmental damage, which significantly disrupts the sustainability of national development. Students play a crucial role in environmental conservation efforts by fostering awareness of environmental preservation. Government policies, such as Decree of the Director General of Higher Education (Kepdirjen Dikti) Number 84/E/KPT/2020 and several other state and government regulations, constitute public policies in the field of education that can contribute to environmental sustainability. This study aims to analyze the profile, context, and substance of state and government policies on the Civics course, which are relevant to environmental sustainability efforts from a public policy and education perspective. The research used normative juridical, qualitative, and literature study methods. The normative juridical method examined the substance of government regulations, while the qualitative method employed interviews with several lecturers and students as informants. The literature study examined all relevant sources and documents in various forms. The results of the study indicate that several state and government regulations constitute policies for the realization of environmental sustainability, including those related to higher education. The environmental theme integrated into the Citizenship course is very strategic as a preventive measure against environmental damage. Government officials at the Ministry of Environment, law enforcement officers, officials from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek), university leaders, lecturers teaching Citizenship courses, environmental figures and activists, students, and other educational stakeholders are policy actors. The threat of increasingly severe environmental damage and the need for students to understand it are policy issues. The Ministry of Environment, the Indonesian National Police, Kemendiktisaintek, universities, and various institutions outside the government are policy institutions. The public's expectation of students who are aware of and responsible for environmental sustainability is a policy issue. Several policy elements need to be refined.

Abstract

Permasalahan mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi pengelolaan sampah sekolah yang belum berjalan secara optimal serta belum dimanfaatkannya bank sampah sebagai bagian dari proses pembelajaran, khususnya pada mata pelajaran matematika. Pembelajaran matematika mencakup materi operasi hitung, pengukuran, dan penyajian data. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan bank sampah sebagai media pembelajaran matematika berbasis lingkungan di SD Negeri 8 Indralaya Utara. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan meliputi observasi, sosialisasi kepada siswa mengenai pentingnya bank sampah di lingkungan sekolah, pendampingan pembelajaran matematika yang terintegrasi dengan bank sampah, serta evaluasi melalui pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa, yaitu pada materi luas meningkat sebesar 20,68% dari 62,07% menjadi 82,75%, materi volume meningkat sebesar 24,14% dari 62,07% menjadi 86,21%, dan materi statistika sederhana meningkat sebesar 19,23% dari 76,92% menjadi 96,15%. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan bank sampah sebagai media pembelajaran matematika berbasis lingkungan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sekaligus mengedukasi siswa peduli terhadap lingkungan.

Abstract

Post-immunization pain is a common physiological response among toddlers caused by tissue trauma following injection procedures. This condition may lead to discomfort, prolonged crying, and increased parental anxiety, potentially affecting adherence to subsequent immunization schedules. Therefore, effective and safe non-pharmacological interventions are needed to minimize pain. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of warm and cold compresses on pain levels among toddlers after immunization at the Mongolato Village Integrated Health Post, Gorontalo, Indonesia. A quantitative quasi-experimental study with a two-group pretest–posttest design was conducted involving 40 toddlers selected through purposive sampling and divided into warm compress (n = 20) and cold compress (n = 20) groups. Pain levels were measured using the FLACC observation scale. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test followed by paired t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that both warm and cold compress interventions significantly reduced pain levels (p = 0.001). However, warm compress therapy demonstrated greater effectiveness, with a larger reduction in mean pain scores compared to cold compress therapy. Warm compress intervention can be recommended as an atraumatic care strategy in community-based immunization services to improve children’s comfort and support immunization program success.

Abstract

One of the factors influencing infant growth and development is sleep and rest patterns, which impact the quantity and quality of sleep. The importance of maternal knowledge regarding infant massage is directly related to managing poor infant sleep patterns. Therefore, good knowledge will impact the infant's sleep needs being met. The purpose of this study was to identify maternal knowledge regarding infant massage implementation in infants aged 0-12 months in the Botupingge Community Health Center (Puskesmas) work area. The research design used descriptive quantitative research. The sampling technique used was total sampling, with 45 respondents. The results showed that the majority of parents (18 parents) had poor knowledge regarding infant massage implementation, and the majority (32 parents) had poor infant sleep patterns. The conclusion is that parents' knowledge regarding infant massage implementation is lacking, resulting in the average infant having poor sleep patterns. This study recommends the need for educational efforts to improve maternal knowledge regarding infant massage implementation. Keywords: Maternal Knowledge, Infant Massage, Sleep Patterns

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran dapat dikatakan berhasil apabila dapat memenuhi beberapa aspek salah satunya yaitu tercapainya sebuah tujuan pembelajaran. Suatu pembelajaran tidak dituntut untuk sekedar lulus, namun untuk memastikan kesiapan peserta didik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Inovasi pembelajaran membuat fokus pembelajaran dari pembelajaran yang awalnya berpusat pada guru (teacher center learning) menjadi berpusat pada peserta didik (student centered learning). Salah satu inovasi pembelajaran yaitu pengembangan pada model pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu pengembangan model pembelajaran POINTS dilakukan untuk mengembangkan aktivitas peserta didik dan membantu meningkatkan skill’s yang ada pada peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. Penelitian pengembangan menggunakan desain 4-D oleh S. Thiagarajan, Tahap 4-D meliputi tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop), dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Pengembangan produk model pembelajaran meliputi kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan model pembelajaran. Instrumen kevalidan dan kepraktisan model pembelajaran POINTS diperoleh dari lembar validasi perangkat dan angket guru dan peserta didik yang diubah menjadi persentase dengan menggunakan kategori penilaian kevalidan dan kepraktisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran POINTS telah valid dengan nilai validitas sebesar 83,93% dengan kategori sangat valid dan telah praktis dengan respon guru sebesar 81,87% dan respon peserta didik sebesar 79,98% dengan kategori praktis, selain itu didukung dengan respon yang positif oleh guru dan peserta didik. Model pembelajaran POINTS terdiri atas lima tahap yaitu problematizing, organizing, investigating, thinking and sharing.

Abstract

Scientific argumentation skills are essential competencies in 21st-century learning, which not only reflect students' critical and analytical thinking abilities, but also become the foundation for evidence-based decision-making. In the context of science learning, the integration of STEM approaches is believed to be able to strengthen students' ability to build and evaluate scientific arguments in more depth. This study aims to conduct a systematic literature review (SLR) on various STEM-based learning media and approaches used to improve students' argumentation skills. The review process was carried out by following the PRISMA 2020 protocol, including searching articles from reputable databases such as Scopus, SpringerLink, DOAJ, and Google Scholar. The inclusion criteria include articles published between 2015 to 2025, indexed by scopus Q1-Q4, explicitly mentioning argumentation skills, and being in the context of STEM education. Out of a total of 277 articles identified, 40 articles were selected for further analysis. The results of the study revealed that approaches such as argument-driven inquiry (ADI), project-based learning (PjBL), socioscientific issues (SSI), and engineering design process (EDP), have consistently proven to be effective in improving the quality of students' arguments. Learning media such as digital scaffolding, interactive simulations, argumentative worksheets, and argument mapping are widely used to support the critical thinking process and argument structuring. In addition, real-issue based learning and experimental activities show a positive impact on students' ability to structure claims, reasons, and evidence in a structured manner. This study makes an important contribution in directing the development of STEM learning designs that explicitly support the strengthening of scientific argumentation skills. The practical implications of this study include the need for teacher training, the integration of argumentation rubrics in assessments, as well as the development of adaptive digital learning media.
