Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model GNT dengan video terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi sistem saraf di SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experiment dengan menggunakan Pretest-Posttest Kontrol Group Design dengan 2 kelas sampel yaitu kelas IX-C (kelas kontrol) dan kelas IX-D (kelas eksperimen). Sampel diambil menggunakan non-random sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil belajar kognitif diperoleh melalui skor Posttest dan LDS. Hasil belajar afektif diperoleh melalui angket. Data tanggapan siswa diperoleh melalui angket. Hasil belajar kognitif menunjukkan ketuntasan klasikal kelas eksperimen 86,11% dan kelas kontrol 44,44%. Hasil belajar afektif diperoleh rata-rata akhir kelas eksperimen 65,83% dan kelas kontrol 66%. Hasil tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran memperoleh kriteria baik dengan rata-rata 82%. Uji hipotesis pengaruh model GNT dengan video terhadap hasil belajar siswa menggunakan uji t dan diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel, yaitu 4,29 > 1,99. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model GNT dengan video berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa.. This study aimed to analyze the influences of applying the GNT model with a video on Junior High School student learning outcomes of the nervous system material. This study was a quasi experiment using a pretest-posttest control group design with two sample classes those are class IX-C (control group) and class IX-D (experimental group). Samples were taken by non-random sampling with purposive sampling technique. Cognitive learning outcomes were obtained by posttest scores and LDS. Affective learning outcomes and Student responses data were obtained by questionnaires. The findings showed that cognitive learning outcomes satisfied the classical completeness (minimum passing grade) up to 86.11% from the experimental group and compared to 44.44% from the control group. Affective learning outcomes gained an average up to 65.83% of the experimental group and 66% of the control group both in good criteria. Student responses to learning were under good criteria with an average 82%. Hypothesis testing of the influences of the GNT model with a video on student learning outcomes, as indicated by t test, showed that the values t test > t table, namely 4.29 >1.99. This proved that applying the GNT model with a video had the significant influences to learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran biologi materi sistem pertahanan tubuh dengan pendekatan SETS pada siswa SMA. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan pendekatan One-Shot Case Study. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 13 Semarang. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas XI MIPA-1 dan XI MIPA-3. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa data hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif, afektif, psikomotorik, serta data tanggapan siswa dan guru. Metode pengambilan data aspek kognitif melalui tes, aspek afektif melalui angket, aspek psikomotorik dengan penugasan serta data tanggapan siswa dan guru melalui angket. Analisis hasil belajar siswa mencapai ketuntasan sebesar ≥ 75 %. Hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif kelas XI MIPA-1 memperoleh ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 89 % sedangkan kelas XI MIPA-3 memperoleh 85 % ketuntasan belajar klasikal. Hasil belajar siswa aspek afektif dan psikomotorik kelas XI MIPA-1 dan XI MIPA-3 memperoleh ketuntasan sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis post test dengan uji t one sampel diperoleh hasil t hitung sebesar 7,376. Karena harga t hitung > t tabel maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran biologi materi sistem pertahanan tubuh dengan pendekatan SETS pada siswa SMA berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of SETS-approach biology learning in concept of the immune system on high school students. This study is a Pre-Experimental Design with One-Shot Case Study. The population was all students of class XI SMA Negeri 13 Semarang MIPA. The sample is class XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA-3 by purposive sampling technique. Data collected was student learning outcomes of cognitive, affective, psychomotor, students’ and teachers’ response. The data of cognitive aspect was from test, affective from questionnaires, psychomotor aspects from the assignments and data of students’ and teachers’ response were from questionnaires. Analysis of learning outcomes showed that students achieved ≥ 75% mastery. The students’ classical cognitive aspect of XI MIPA-1 was 89% while XI MIPA-3 was 85%. The students' affective and psychomotor aspects completeness of XI MIPA -1 and XI MIPA-3 were both 100%. The post-test analysis with one sample t-test gave t-calculate of 7.376. Because the t-count> t-table, it can be concluded that the SETS-approach biology learning in concept of the immune system gave a positive effect on senior high school students’ learning outcome.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji keefektifan media pembelajaran “Si Imut” berbasis masalah materi sistem imun sikap peka dan peduli keselamatan diri dan lingkungan siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XI semester genap SMA N 13 Semarang dengan desain posttest only control design. Sampel yang diperoleh adalah kelas XI MIA 2 dan XI MIA 3, melalui teknik random sampling. Keefektifan diukur berdasarkan kompetensi sikap dengan predikat minimal B, dan ketuntasan kompetensi ketrampilan kelompok eksperimen > kelompok kontrol. Hasil perhitungan uji t, nilai kompetensi pengetahuan kelompok eksperimen > kelompok kontrol. Tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap “Si Imut” minimal baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 100% siswa memperoleh sikap dengan predikat minimal B, ketuntasan ketrampilan kelompok eksperimen 90,9%, sedangkan kelompok kontrol 84,8%. Nilai rata-rata pengetahuan kelompok eksperimen sebesar 67, sedangkan kelompok kontrol 61. Guru dan siswa memberikan tanggapan sangat baik. Simpulan yang dapat diambil media pembelajaran “Si Imut” berbasis masalah materi sistem imun efektif terhadap sikap peka dan peduli keselamatan diri dan lingkungan siswa. This study aims to find out the effectiveness of “Si Imut” problem-based instructional media of immune system to students' sensitive and personal safety and environmentally conscious attitudes. This study was conducted by post-test only control design at grade XI. The samples of this study were grade XI MIA 2 and XI MIA 3 through random technique sampling. The effectiveness was reached if minimal stance competence predicate is B, and completeness of skill competence of experimental group is greater than control group. The results of t-test showed that experimental group was greater than control group. Response of teacher and students to “Si Imut” was good. The result showed that affective minimal predicate of 100% of students was B, the skill completeness of experimental group was 90,9%, while the control group was 84,8%. Knowledge mean score of experimental group was 67, while control group was 61. Teacher and students gave good response. It could be concluded that “Si Imut” problem-based instructional media of immune system learning was effective to improve students' sensitive and personal safety and environmentally conscious attitudes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penerapan pendekatan Science, Environment,Technology, and Society (SETS) berbantu mind mapping pada materi sistem reproduksi manusiaterhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Quasi Experimental Design denganmenggunakan pola pretest-postest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruhsiswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Bawang, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelasXI IPA 5 (kelas kontrol) dan XI IPA 6 (kelas eksperimen). Data keterlaksanaan pendekatan SETSberbantu mind mapping diperoleh melalui angket keterlaksanaan pembelajaran oleh siswa. Data hasilbelajar dalam ranah kognitif siswa diperoleh dari tes materi sistem reproduksi manusia, ranahpsikomotorik dan ranah afektif diperoleh melalui lembar observasi. Data hasil belajar kognitif kelaseksperimen 31,43% siswa mencapai N-Gain kriteria tinggi, 65,72% kriteria sedang dan 2,85% kriteriar endah. Pada kelas kontrol 13,88% termasuk dalam N-Gain kriteria tinggi, 77,78% dengan kriteriasedang dan 8,34 dengan kriteria rendah. Hasil uji t menunjukkan thitung 3,43 > ttabel 1,99, hal inimenunjukkan ada perbedaan signifikan antara kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. Uji korelasibiserial diperoleh 0,44 yang menunjukkan adanya korelasi dengan taraf sedang dengan angka besarnyakonstribusi pendekatan SETS berbantu mind mapping sebesar 19,7 %. This final project aims at examining the influence of applying an approach of Science, Environment,Technology, and Society (SETS) assisted by mind mapping on the human reproductive system materialtoward the students learning outcomes. This study used Quasi Experimental Design with the pretestposttestcontrol group design. The population of this study was the students of XI IPA SMAN 1 Bawang,while the sample was the students of XI IPA 5 (control class) and XI IPA 6 (experimental class). Thedata collection of SETS approach assisted by mind mapping was obtained by a questionnaire about thelearning of the students. The result of the study in students' cognitive domain was obtained by the testabout the human reproductive system, while the students’ psychomotor and affective domain wasobtained by the observation sheets. The result of the study in students’ cognitive domain of experimentclass 31,4% reach out for N-Gain high criteria, 65,72% moderate criteria, and 2,85% for low criteria.In the control group 13.88% included in the N-Gain high criteria, with the moderate criteria 77.78%and 8.34% with low criteria. T test results showed tcount 3.43> 1.99 t table, it showed significantdifference between control and experimental class. Biserial correlation test showed 0.44 indicatingmoderate correlation with the magnitude of the contribution figures SETS assisted mind mappingapproach was 19.7%..

Abstract

The development of science curriculum aims to achieve the dimensions of knowledge competence, scientific work, and scientific attitude as daily behavior in interacting with society, environmental and technological utilization. Teaching materials are used in the form of book packages and not yet available learning modules. This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of SETS biological module vision of environmental change and recycling of waste as teaching materials. This research is a research and development with a quasi-experimental design. The design of this study used a pretest-posttest control group design pattern. The population in this study were all students of class X MIA SMA N 2 Purbalingga, with class X MIA 3 sample as experiment class, and class X MIA 2 as control class. The product was developed in the form of a Biology learning module with SETS vision of recycled materials, waste and environmental waste recycling. The prerequisite test includes the normality test of pretest learning results, with α = 0.05 with the initial conditions of the control class and the experiments not significantly differing. The result of posttest obtained then analyzed by t-test. The result of t-test analysis obtained t arithmetic price> t table price 10,58> 1,67, it can be stated that there is a significant difference between the result of control study and student experiment class. Based on the result of the research, it is concluded that 1) Biology Module SETS is suitable to be used as teaching materials, 2) the use of SETS biology module to study environmental change, waste and waste recycling effectively improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Zygomycota and Ascomycota Classesare classified as the Fungi Kingdom groups It is needed to hold a practicum activity in the fungi grouping learning. Nevertheless, the tools and materials at school to observe the fungi are inadequate. Therefore, it is necessary to hold a fungi practicum which accompanied with a students worksheet that is able to develop the students’ science process skills so that the teachers and the students are able to achieve the learning objectives of the Fungi material. This study aims to analyze the students' science process skills after the application of guided-inquiry learning model in the fungi practicum activity. The study used pre-experimental design method with one-shot case study design as the research method. Furthermore, the students’ understanding level is obtained based on the results of the students' skill score, such as the ability to observe and to conduct an experiment which able to reach the defined completeness criteria. The result shows that the observation skills score of class X.MIA.1 and class X.MIA.3 were 85% and 91% and the experimental skills score of class X.MIA 1 and class X.MIA.3 were 85.7% and 88.5%. The understanding of fungi material is classified successful in Fungi practicum learning activity due to the classical completeness that reaches above 85%.

Abstract

The study was aim to find out the effectiveness of the multimedia interactive for human reproduction system learning. The research was done at Junior High School 5 Pemalang with the design of research is Research and Development (R&D). The small scale trial of the product was done in 23 students with proportionate stratified random sampling method. The larger scale trial of the product was done in IX A class with Purposive Sampling Method and One Group Pre-test Post-test Experimental Design. The assessment from the experts to the multimedia interactive for system human reproduction learning obtains a high score as much as 89.58% for course assessment and 97.22% for media assessment. The results from the teacher and students response questionnaire in small scale trial obtain the average percentage as much as 100 % and 81.55 % respectively, which was high qualified. The effectiveness of Multimedia Interactive in learning could be seen in pretest and post test results with calculating N-gain and obtain N-gain 0.54, which was categorized as middle. Beside N-gain, the completeness of understanding the concepts become another effectiveness of multimedia interactive obtain 88% in classical completeness. The results of the study shows that the multimedia interactive was qualified and effective to enhance the students’ learning outcome in the course of system human reproduction.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Materi pembelajaran bermuatan SETS dan model pembelajaran PBL dapat digunakan untuk memecahkan permasalahan ekologi dan meningkatkan pemahaman materi ekologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas bahan ajar serta mendiskripsikan karakteristik bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Metode  penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Desain penelitian uji coba skala luas menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design dan posttest-only control design. Hasil validasi bahan ajar yang dilakukan oleh ahli pendidikan, ahli materi dan praktisi pendidikan dengan rata-rata nilainya 91,67 (amat baik). Kepraktisan bahan ajar menurut siswa sebesar 91,00 (sangat baik) dan menurut guru sebesar 98,50 (sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil belajar kognitif, sikap dan keterampilan modul yang dikembangkan efektif. Karakteristik modul ekologi hasil pengembangan yaitu materinya diawali dengan permasalahan sehari-hari yang ada disekitar kita. Permasalahan ditutup dengan pertanyaan yang mengarahkan ke pemahaman tentang SETS. Hasil belajar kelas kontrol dan kelas perlakuan terjadi perbedaan yang signifikan, baik pada penilaian kognitif, sikap dan keterampilan Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Learning materials contain SETS and PBL learning model can be used to solve the problems of ecology and to increase the understanding of ecological materials. This research is aimed to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of learning materials and to describe the characteristics of the developed learning materials. The research method is a research and development. Design of large scale trials using a pretest-posttest control group design and posttest-only control design.The results of the validation materials made by education experts, materials expert and practitioners of education have average mark of 91.67. The practicality of materials according to the students of 91.00 and according to the teachers of 98.50. Based on the resuts of cognitive learning, attitudes and skills of developed modules, it works effectively. Characteristics of ecological module from that development is that the material is staryed from daily life problems around us. The issue is closed with a question leading to an understanding of the SETS. The results of study control class and experiment occurs a significant difference, both on the cognitive assessment, attitudes and skills.

Abstract

Habits of mind were most important to be had by the science education the students. The prospective science teachers were required to have the skills of self-regulation, creative thinking and critical thinking. Those three skills were the categories of habits of mind. This study reviewed on how the habits of mind of the students of prospective Biology teachers were, in which category the students' habits of mind were, how the differences of the habits of mind of the male and female the students were, and whether there was any relation between the students' grade points and their habits of mind. The analysis result obtained that 79.7% the students included in the adequate category of habits of mind (N=133). From 16 categories of the habits of mind, the responding with wonderment and awe category had the biggest average score that was 5.69 which meant that most of Science education the students had high enough curiosity in the mystery of the nature. There was no difference of the habits of mind had by the male and female the students, and there was no correlation between the habits of mind and the students' grade points.

Abstract

This study is the development of diagnostic test instrument four tier multiple choice to detect student misconceptions on the system material of human coordination. The diagnostic test is carried out on students who have received the coordination system material. The purpose of this study is to analyze diagnostic test validity and to analyze the profile of students' misconceptions on the material of the coordination system using four-tier multiple choices. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D method, namely definite, design develop and Disseminate. The subjects of this research are the students of XII IPA 1, 2, and 3 at SMAN 1 Terusan Nunyai and the students of XII IPA 3, 4, and 5 at SMAN 1 Terbanggi Besar. The result of this research shows a valid question instrument with a CVR value is 0.80 and CVI value is 0.78 with 8 examiners and 35 items of questions. The profile of misconceptions at SMAN 1 Terusan Nunyai in the excellent class is 10.69%, medium class is 30.57% and low class is 40.86% who experienced misconceptions, while at SMAN 1 Terbanggi Besar, the category of excellent class is 26.94%, medium class is 32.12% and low class is 27.48%. The conclusion of this research is there are many students who experience misconceptions on the coordination system material in the nervous system and hormones.
