Abstract

This study aims to improve physics education students' ability to think creatively and critically. The Project Based Learning model was chosen as a solution found by researchers in the field regarding the low ability of students to think creatively and critically, seen from making their paper assignments and displaying their PowerPoint presentations, how to ask and answer questions in Micro-Learning courses. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) is carried out in 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, Action Implementation, Observation, Analysis, and Reflection. The data collection techniques were observation, interviews, documentary, and literature studies. The results showed that using the Jambi local wisdom-based Project Based Learning Model in Micro-Learning Courses can Improve Students' Creative and Critical Thinking Abilities. The percentage of students with the ability to think creatively in cycle I was 37.5. In cycle II the percentage increased to 56.8, and in cycle III, the percentage increased to 91.1. Meanwhile, the ability to think critically experienced an increase in cycle I, the percentage obtained was 36.0. In cycle II the percentage was 59.8, and in cycle three, it increased to 80.4.

Abstract

Almas filed a lawsuit to change the minimum age of presidential and vice presidential candidates from 40 years to 35 years. Almas believed that if it is not changed, it will be contrary to the Republic of Indonesia’s 1945 Constitution. This decision is controversial but has opened a rare opportunity for talented young people to ascend and hold presidential and vice-presidential positions via election, even when they are less than 40 years old. The Republic of Indonesia’s Constitutional Court judges partially accepted Almas' lawsuit, in which the age limit remains at least 40. However, it can be deviated if a person has had experience becoming a regional head (governor/regent/mayor). This research aims to analyze: (1) how Constitutional Court judges interpret the minimum age limit for presidential and vice-presidential candidates in the Indonesian constitutional system; and (2) how the Constitutional Court judges’ final authority, which is Decision No.90/PUU-XXI/2023 on the Minimum Age Limit for Presidential Candidates and Vice-Presidential Candidates is a controversial decision. Method: This study used a jurisprudence approach, which studied the judicial decision in court primary data. It was supported by secondary data, which were obtained through a literature review. It focused on the data of Decision No. 90/PUU-XXI/2023, the Indonesian Constitution, and the Election Law (2017). Findings: In this study, it was found that the Decision of the Constitutional Court No. 90/PUU-XXI/2023 on the Minimum Age Limit for Presidential and Vice-Presidential Candidates is controversial, considering how the judge decided it. Then, several judges were sentenced for the act of ethics violation by the Constitutional Court’s Honorary Assembly. Conclusion: The decision of the Constitutional Court is binding and final, even though it is controversial. Several judges were sentenced for committing a violation of ethics by the Constitutional Court’s Honorary Assembly. Even so, this decision also opened up an opportunity for talented but young people under 40 to become presidential or vice-presidential candidates in the election. Keywords: Reconstruction, Age Limit, Presidential Candidates, Vice-Presidential Candidates

Abstract

Cybercrime is increasing in line with the advancements of the era, triggering the need for legal protection governing the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This research aims to develop a penal policy that provides protection for victims of AI-based cybercrime by addressing two main issues: 1) the concept of prohibiting AI-based cybercrime in the Society 5.0 era from the perspective of Fiqh Jinayah and 2) the urgency of penal policies in protecting victims of AI-based cybercrime in this era. Using a qualitative normative approach, the study analyzes legal frameworks, including Law Number 19 of 2016 on Electronic Information and Transactions, and integrates the theories of Penal Policy and Fiqh Jinayah as analytical foundations. The findings reveal that, from the Fiqh Jinayah perspective, AI-based cybercrime is categorized as jarimah, subjecting perpetrators to hudud punishments under Law Number 1 of 2024. Furthermore, the urgency of penal policies lies in strengthening government regulations, requiring official registration of all internet applications through the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemeninfo). Recommendations include fostering inter-agency collaboration, involving IT experts in mapping hacking threats, and focusing on enhanced cybersecurity measures

Abstract

Process skills have an important role in the world of education, therefore the process skills of each student need to be improved. This study aims to analyze the comparison of process skills, problem solving models to mathematics, and to analyze the relationship between problem solving models and students' skills in mathematics. This research uses a quasi-experimental quantitative research type. The sample in this study was 288 students. The sampling technique used is purvosive sampling. There are two instruments in this study, namely process skills and problem solving models. The assumption tests carried out in this study were the normality test and linearity test, than continued to test the hypothesis, namely the T test and correlation test. From the results of the process skills T test, there are differences in students' process skills on mathematics subjects. Likewise with the T-test of the problem solving model, there are differences from the model of the student's problem solving learning response to mathematics subjects. As for the results of the correlation test between process skills and problem solving learning models, there is a relationship between process skills and problem solving learning models on mathematics subjects.

Abstract

Misconception is something that can hinder the acceptance of new material and affect success in solving math problems. This study aims to develop a Three-Tier diagnostic test to identify misconceptions. The development of this test aims to identify the types of errors in the set and describe the quality of this diagnostic test. The research conducted was the plomp development model research, which is a model widely used for the development of educational products such as teaching materials, media, or learning approaches. The population in this study were students of mathematics education. Data analysis performed included validity, reliability, level of difficulty, discriminating power, questionnaire analysis, interpretation of three-level multiple-choice diagnostic test results, and profile analysis of students' understanding of students. The results of this study obtained a diagnostic test that can find out conceptual errors in students who have been tested for validity and declared valid. So that it can be concluded that the diagnostic test instrument for the set material in this study includes; diagnostic test grids, diagnostic test questions, answer key sheets and diagnostic test rubrics, diagnostic test answer sheets, diagnostic test kit validation sheets, diagnostic test sheets have been generated.

Abstract

The DPR as a representative and aspiration of the people can exercise the right of interpellation and oversight of the government. Oversight of the DPR is the President's policy which refers to the ban on thrifting imports of used clothing, causing upheaval in society. This policy is deemed not capable of realizing the concept of a rule of law state. So the problems are 1) What are the DPR's Interpellation Rights and oversight of the President's policy on the prohibition of Import Thrifting of used clothing? 2) What is the concept of an embodiment of the State Rule of Law on the prohibition of import thrifting of used clothes? This research methodology uses a normative review of the 1945 Constitution, Law no. 13 of 2019 concerning MD3 (MPR, DPR, DPD), Minister of Trade Regulation No. 18 of 2021 concerning Prohibition of Import of Goods. This research aims to find out the DPR's interpellation and oversight rights, the prohibition of the President's policy on the prohibition of Import Thrifting of used clothes. As well as knowing the concept of the rule of law state. Research results 1) The DPR can use the right of interpellation and supervision over the prohibition of Import Thrifting of used clothing by summoning and bringing together the government, used clothing traders, and clothing MSME traders to find a joint solution. 2) The DPR in realizing a rule of law state must be based on the rule of law, which is made for the welfare of the people and the common interest. Recommendation; The DPR not only oversees the government, but second-hand clothing traders are affected by the ban on finding other jobs.
