Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to determine the effect of variations in the type of processing of tea (Camellia sinensis L. Kuntze) and the concentration of sugar to ferment kombucha and draft Worksheet Students (LKPD) High School Biology.This study consisted of two phases. The first phase is making kombucha tea using the experimental method completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 8 treatments and 3 replications. Parameters measured were reducing sugar, total acid concentration, pH and organoleptic levels. The results obtained were analyzed by ANOVA and a further test DMRT at 5% level. The second phase is the phase Design (draft) LKPD sourced from the research phase I. LKPD design consists of two stages, namely Analysis and Design LKPD. The results showed that variations in the type of processing tea and sugar concentration provides significant effect on reducing sugar, total acid concentration, pH and organoleptic levels. The greater the concentration of sugar, the greater the reduction sugar and total acid content of kombucha tea, and increasingly lace pH of the solution. As for organoleptic color, aroma, and taste the best there is on the treatment T1G3 (black tea, sugar 120 grams). The results of the study can be used as a draft Worksheet Students (LKPD) on the material of conventional biotechnology.Key words : Kombucha tea, Tea Processing Type Variation, Concentration Sugar, draft LKPD

Abstract

Abstract: This research to determine the quality of peda anchovies (Stolephorus sp) treated with length of fermentation and salt concentration for the student worksheet design that was conducted in March 2017. This research was carried out by two phases: the field research and design student worksheet (LKS). Research experiments were conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial 4x3 with 3 replicates in order to obtain 36 units of the experimental design. Parameters observed include protein content, fat content, pH value and organoleptic value which include aroma, color, texture and taste. The results showed that the length fermentation and salt concentration significant effect on protein content, fat content, pH value in the peda anchovies (Stolephorus sp). Where the best fermentation anchovy is found in T4G1 treatment (20 days length fermentation with 15% salt concentration) with protein content of 7.9%, fat content of 0.17%, pH value of 5.96 and the most preferred organoleptic by the panelists because it has a very tasty taste, scented-peda began to sharply aroma, the texture of fish that have been destroyed with a gray-brown color. Results from the study are used as a design student worksheet (LKS) on the subjects of biology in high school.Key words: Length of fermentation, salt concentration, Peda Anchovies and Student Worksheet.

Abstract

Abstract: The study is classroom action research (PTK) which aims to improve learning outcomes ipa students with cooperative learning model students teams achievement division (STAD) on grade VIIB SMPN 8 Tanah Putih in the academic year 2015/2016. The study was conducted in March-April 2016. The subjects were VIIB grade students of SMPN 8 Tanah Putih 2015/2016 school year with the number of 26 people (12 students and 14 female students). The study took place during the second cycle in which the first cycle with the matter determines ecosystems and interconnected between the components of the ecosystem and the second cycle with the material identifies the importance of the diversity of life in the preservation of ecosystems conducted 6 meetings including daily tests. Parameters measured were the activities and student learning outcomes which consists of the absorption of students and student learning completeness, awards groups, student activities and teacher's activities. When implementing the learning activities consisting of four indicators and activity when carrying out the percentage of groups that are observed by teachers and teacher activity by giving the check mark (?) during activities diobservasikan by the observer. Absorptive capacity of the students in the first cycle of 76.53% (enough) and the second cycle of 82.5% (good). Mastery learning in the first cycle were completed and 73.07% increased in the second cycle is 88.46%. Group awards in the first cycle there is one super group and the second cycle there are 3 super groups. The average activity of students in the first cycle of 82.20% (excellent) and the second cycle increased to 84.13% (excellent). The average teacher activity increased by 85% (excellent) and the second cycle 95% (excellent). From these results it can be concluded that the model type STAD cooperative learning can enhance the biological activity and learning outcomes VIIB grade students of SMPN 8 Tanah Putih in academic year 2015/2016.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Model Cooperative, Kooperati Type STAD

Abstract

Abstract: The study was conducted to obtain the quality of banana peel kepok fruit gravy (Musa paradisiaca L. var Kepok.) Based on the right fermentation time (SNI 01-2981-1992) to be designed in Student Leaflet (LKPD) Conventional Biotechnological Material in high school. The study was conducted in April-May 2017. The research was carried out by two phases, namely the manufacture of leather goods fruitghurt kepok banana (Musa paradisiaca l. Var. Kepok) and LKPD design phase. This study was performed with fully randomized intentional (CRD) 5 treatments 3 replications, to obtain the number of samples. The measured parameters were levels of lactic acid, protein content, fat content, pH and organoleptic properties which included color, taste, odor, texture and preferred level panelists. The results showed that the fermentation time fruit hatch affects the quality of each treatment. When the A4 treatment fermentation time of 48 hours fruitgurt quality corresponding to (SNI 01-2981-1992) the lactic acid concentration of 0.79%, 3.60% protein, fat content 1.49% and a pH of 3.91. For descriptive Results with a texture of 4.70 (very strong), 4.80 color (dark brown), a sense of 4.50 (slightly acidic) and the aroma of 4.83 (very typical fruit gravy). The results of the research are used as Design Worksheet Students (LKPD) Biotechnology Conventional Materials at High School.Keywords: Fermentation Time, Fruit Grain, Worksheet Students (LKPD)

Abstract: Saga seeds have the potential to be used as a basis for making tempe. Information and knowledge about conventional biotechnology in making tempewith saga seed raw materials to students can be conveyed through learning resources in the form of booklets. This study aims to produce a design booklet for conventional biotechnology materials for grade XII high schools. The study was conducted at the Biology Education Laboratory of the Teaching and Education Faculty of the University of Riau, the Laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences of the University of Riau in June 2019 to August 2019. This study used the ADDIE model, namely the Analyze and Design stages. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the infrastructure in the implementation of e-learning and the relationship between e-learning and problem-based learning models on the creative thinking skills of class XII students. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects in this study were students of class XII MIA SMA Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru. The data collection technique is a survey using an observation sheet. The results of the study provide some information. First, SMA Islam As-Shofa has adequate facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of e-learning, which consists of hardware, software, and a learning community. Second, the implementation of e-learning runs well using the PBL model on the creative thinking skills of class XII MIA students of SMA Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru.Key Words: E-Learning, Creative Thinking, Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to design a poster media based on research on theeffect of giving young coconut water on the growth of mustard greens (Brassicachinensis L) with a wick hydroponic system. This research was conducted at the NaturalLaboratory of Biology Education, Faculty of Education, Riau University in May-June2021. This research was carried out in two stages, namely the analysis and design ofposter media designs. Based on the analysis of the potential research results, it can beused as a poster media design on the growth material in Senior High School Class 12 atKD 3.1 Analyzing the relationship between internal and external factors with theprocess of growth and development in Living Things Based on Experimental Resultsand KD 4.1 Planning and carrying out experiments on factors external factors thataffect the process of plant growth and development, and report in writing using thecorrect scientific author's procedure. Abstract

Abstract: This study to describe the infrastructure readiness for the implementation of e-learning and the relationship between e-learning and the Problem Based Learning model in terms of student motivation in the new normal covid-19 period. This type of research is descriptive research. The population in this study is class X SMA Islam As-shofa Pekanbaru with a random sampling technique, amounting to 24 students. The data collection technique is a survey using an observation sheet. Based on observations, the implementation of e-learning at As-Shofa Islamic High School is adequate, with facilities ranging from software consisting of laptops with a percentage of 92 (very high category), computers with a percentage of 58 (medium category) and cellphones with a percentage of 100. (very high category), while the hardware consisting of wifi with a percentage of 79 (high category), internet quota with a percentage of 100 (very high category) and a learning community in the form of whatsapp and classrooms with a percentage of 100 (very high category), so that it can support online learning process. The description of the implementation of learning is carried out by linking e-learning activities according to the PBL model syntax in which there are aspects of student learning motivation.Key Words: e-learning, PBL model, learning motivation

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the potential of the Booklet design in high school learning on bacterial material for class X. This research was conducted at the Binawidya Campus, Riau University in December 2020 - January 2021. This study was carried out with the ADDIE design, namely the analysis and design stages. Booklet design in the form of an analysis of the potential development of learning media for high school bacteria material class X Semester I. The research uses an experimental method with a quantitative descriptive type of research. Based on the potential analysis, it was found that the bacteria Bacillus cereus strain IMB-11 has the ability to biodegrader against used lubricating oil, which can be used as a booklet design for class X bacteria in SMA KD 3.5 and KD 4.5.Key Words: Booklet, Bacteria Material.
