Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan kesulitan guru Biologi dalam mengajarkan materi pelajaran kepada siswa. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 25 guru Biologi peserta PPG Daljab 2024 di LPTK UPGRIS dengan masa kerja beragam: 0–5 tahun (16%), 6–10 tahun (20%), 11–15 tahun (44%), dan >15 tahun (24%). Instrumen penelitian berupa angket Google Form yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa materi yang dianggap mudah diajarkan antara lain keanekaragaman hayati (84%), ekosistem (72%), sistem pencernaan (60%), sistem reproduksi (56%), serta pertumbuhan dan perkembangan (52%). Sebaliknya, materi yang dianggap sulit meliputi metabolisme (68%), substansi genetika dan hereditas (64%), mutasi (60%), sistem saraf (56%), serta sistem hormon (48%). Kendala yang dialami guru mencakup keterbatasan media pembelajaran, istilah ilmiah yang sulit dipahami siswa, serta rendahnya motivasi belajar. Ketuntasan belajar siswa pada materi sulit rata-rata hanya mencapai 50–70%, bahkan beberapa guru melaporkan di bawah 50%. Upaya guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan tersebut meliputi remedial teaching, pengayaan, penggunaan media interaktif, serta penerapan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dan Project-Based Learning (PjBL). Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya strategi pembelajaran inovatif dalam mendukung pembelajaran Biologi, khususnya pada materi abstrak.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the form of an authentic assessment instrument based on Google Sites to measure the learning outcomes of the IPAS Project on the Earth and Space aspects, as well as test its validity, reliability and practicality. The test subjects were 110 students. The data analysis technique uses Aiken's V for content validity, CFA for construct validity, ICC for interrater reliability, CR and VE for construct reliability, Cronbach's Alpha for internal reliability of the instrument, and percentage for practicality. The research results obtained three forms of authentic assessment instruments based on Google Sites that measure the learning outcomes of the IPAS Project, namely independent assignment assessment sheets, group project assignment assessment sheets, and objective tests. The instrument is valid in terms of both content validity and construct validity, except for items B2 and B4 so they must be removed from the model. The instrument is reliable in terms of interrater reliability, instrument reliability and construct reliability, except for dimension C which has a VE value below the criteria. A very practical instrument to use in measuring the learning outcomes of the IPAS Project.

Abstract

Proving the validity of research instruments is very important. The success of research is largely determined by the validity or invalidity of the instruments used. The validity of the instrument greatly affects the accuracy of the measurement results. The basic principle of research instruments is to measure what will be measured. The purpose of proving the validity of the instrument is to ensure that the instrument reflects the theoretical concept. Proof of validity in this study includes instrument content validity, item validity, construct validity. Proof of content validity using the Aiken V formula. This research involved 7 expert judgements to validate the developed ethics instrument. The results of data analysis obtained the coefficient value V is valid. Proof of item validity using the pearson correlation product moment formula with the criteria r count> r table. The study involved 386 students so that the criterion r count> 0.113 with a significance of 0.05. Proof of construct validity using the exploratory factor analysis method and all items are valid by obtaining a KMO value of 0.811> 0.5 and each item obtains an anti-image correlation value> 0.5 and based on the analysis of Initial Eugenvalues Comulative terbahadap 20 statement items obtained five components whose value is > 1.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of animated video media in understanding fractions in mathematics subjects to improve elementary school students' learning outcomes. The type of research used was Quasi Experiment with Nonequivalent Control Group Design, namely research conducted in two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. This research was conducted in class IV of the Pesantren Elementary School. The data collection techniques used were tests and observations. Data validation through content validity, instrument testing, reliability testing. Data analysis uses inferential statistical techniques through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and T tests. Based on the research results, the average learning outcomes test score before being given treatment (pretest) in the experimental class is 39.54, while the average learning outcomes test score after being given treatment (posttest) was 81.93. And the results of the hypothesis test show a sig (2-tailed) result of 0.000, where 0.000 < 0.05, so Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a difference in the use of animated video media in understanding fraction material in mathematics learning in class IV of the Semarang City Pesantren Elementary School between before being given treatment (pretest) and after being given treatment (posttest). So, there is an influence of animated video media in understanding fraction material in mathematics subjects to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students at the Semarang City Pesantren State Elementary School for the 2023/2024 academic year

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the achievement of critical thinking skills, (2) analyze the achievement of cognitive learning outcomes, (3) determine the learning activities carried out, and (4) determine student responses to the use of interactive flipbook media. This study is Quasi Experiment research with a posttest-only control design employing a purposive sampling technique. The data in this study are (1) data on the achievement of critical thinking ability indicators, (2) data on achievement of cognitive levels (C4, C5, and C6), (3) data on student learning activities carried out, and (4) data on student responses to use of interactive flipbook media. The instruments used are (1) critical thinking tests in the form of description questions, (2) cognitive learning outcomes tests in the form of multiple-choice questions, (3) student activity observation sheets, and (4) student response questionnaires. The results obtained in learning the human excretory system using interactive flipbooks are: (1) the level of achievement of critical thinking skills on each indicator can be achieved well, (2)the level achievement of cognitive learning outcomes (C4, C5, and C6) in each category can be achieved well, (3) learning activities that appear and implement in the learning process include visual activities, oral activities, and listening activities, and (4) the use of interactive flipbook media gets a positive response from students. Most respondents agree to use interactive flipbook media to learn the human excretory system. Students also assess that interactive flipbook media are interesting, flexible, practical, meaningful, and not dull.

Abstract

Setiap peserta didik memiliki kesiapan, potensi, kemampuan, karakter, dan gaya belajar yang berbeda-beda. Perbedaan-perbedaan di dalam diri peserta didik membutuhkan pembelajaran atau perlakuan yang berbeda pula untuk mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi menjadi jawaban bagi guru untuk memberikan pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Namun, kenyataannya di lapangan masih banyak guru yang belum memiliki pemahaman yang komprehensif terkait pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan penyusunan asesmennya dan pemahaman antar guru masih sering terjadi perbedaan penafsiran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman atau literasi guru terkait pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan penyusunan asesmennya, serta bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi serta penyusunan asesmennya. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan terhadap 72 guru di korwilcam Bancak, Kabupaten Semarang dan beberapa guru di Malaysia. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu pemahaman guru terkait pembelajaran berdiferensiasi menjadi meningkat dari yang awalnya sebelum pelatihan guru yang paham hanya 20% dan setelah pelatihan guru-guru 100% menjadi paham dengan rincian 88% menyatakan sangat paham, 10% menyatakan paham, dan 2% menyatakan cukup paham. Selain itu, guru-guru juga menyatakan keterampilannya meningkat dari yang awalnya sebelum pelatihan guru yang terampil hanya 20% dan setelah pelatihan guru-guru 100% menjadi terampil dengan rincian 85% menyatakan sangat meningkat, 12% menyatakan meningkat dan 3% menyatakan cukup meningkat. Para guru juga menyatakan bahwa buku panduan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sangat bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan pemahaman guru terkait pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, dimana sebesar 95% guru menyatakan sangat bermanfaat dan 5% guru menyatakan bermanfaat.

Abstract

The success of the learning process in the classroom is determined by the extent to which the learning activities carried out by teachers and students in the classroom can achieve learning objectives. The English language proficiency of high school students is still in the poor category. This shows that the implementation of the current English language learning program is not yet fully effective in achieving the expected educational goals. Therefore, it is very important to evaluate the implementation of the English language learning program. This study is an evaluation study using a mixed method (quantitative and qualitative) approach with the CIPP model to determine the extent of the quality of the learning process and English learning curriculum in schools as well as external factors that influence it. Data collection techniques were carried out through the distribution of questionnaires, learning observations, and interviews. The research results on the context component show that students feel that English language skills are very important to support their future careers, so English language learning in the classroom must be tailored to students' needs to improve their competencies (M = 3.62 and 3.25), such as vocabulary learning and more frequent practice in speaking English. All students at Arjasa State High School and Muhammadiyah 3 Arjasa High School are from the Kangean Islands in Sumenep Regency. The economic background of the students' parents was assessed based on their occupations, with 15% being entrepreneurs, 25% farmers, 40% migrant workers, and 20% having no regular income. The recommendation based on the results of this study is to implement activities to improve the competence of English teachers, especially PPG and MGMP, as well as adequate infrastructure and facilities.

Abstract

Problem-solving ability is an important aspect of mathematics learning, asemphasized in the mathematics learning objectives. However, currently availabletest instruments are still dominated by routine tests and cannot measure students'mathematical problem-solving abilities. This literature review aims to analyze theneed to develop a test instrument capable of measuring mathematical problemsolving abilities validly and reliably. The analysis results indicate the need for aninstrument that contains non-routine (contextual) questions, contains descriptivequestions that can measure students' understanding process in obtaining the finalanswer, and is equipped with an assessment rubric tailored to the indicators ofmathematical problem-solving abilities, namely understanding the problem,planning a solution, implementing the solution plan, and reviewing.

Abstract

BSM merupakan unit usaha di kelurahan Patemon Gunung Pati, dijalankan lima belas orang ibu dengan berbagai kegiatan meliputi mendaur ulang minyak jelantah menjadi sabun, limbah kain perca, kertas menjadi bunga dan pernik bunga. Telah dilakukan pengolahan limbah organik menjadi ecoenzym, dan dilanjutkan pembuatan pupuk organik cair dari limbah olahan kedelai yang kaya protein. Tujuannya untuk menguatkan komunitas bank sampah melalui kegiatan pengolahn limbah cair dan meningkatkan ketrampilan melalui pembuatan biofertilizer berupa pupuk cair untuk dipergunakan sendiri guna merawat tanaman di sekitar rumah, lingkungan dan taman toga. Metode yang digunakan meliputi diskusi informasi, pelatihan, penerapan dan implementasi produk. Teknologi yang digunakan adalah fermentasi spontan melalui rekayasa substrat tinggi protein dengan komposisi terdiri atas telur ayam sebagai sumber protein hewani, whey tahu dan atau limbah rendaman kedelai sebagai sumber protein nabati, vitamin dan mineral dari bawang merah, molase dan starter EM4. Hasil kegiatan berupa pupuk organik cair dengan formula “plus” dari bahan utama dan pengaya menghasilkan kompleks suspensi cairan berwarna coklat tua, beraroma alkoholik dengan Rasio C/N, P dan K sebesar berturut-turut 1.86%, 0.076% dan 0,198%. Implementasi POC plus pada tanaman rumah tangga cabe, terong dan tomat memberikan trend pada kemunculan bunga lebih awal. Produk POCplus merupakan produk baru sebagai biofertilizer yang spesifik.

Abstract

Pendidikan di indonesia merupakan bagian dari upaya mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa dan meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Kebutuhan dalam meningkatkan Berpikir Kritis dan juga hasil belajar yang merupakan keterampilan penting dalam pendidikan untuk menghadapi tantangan kompleks dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kegiatan pembelajaran di SMA Kesatrian 1 Semarang dengan menggunakan bahan ajar konvensional yang dimana kurang menarik untuk pembelajaran siswa karena masih terdapat banyak materi yang belum tersampaikan terutama pada materi sistem hormon dan bahan ajar yang digunakan belum sepenuhnya untuk memenuhi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan juga hasil belajarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem hormon dengan menggunakan suplemen bahan ajar berbasis Problem Based Learning. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Jenis penelitian ini Quasi Experiment Design dengan rancangan Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Kesatrian 1 Semarang dengan populasi penelitian kelas XI. Teknik Pengambilan Sampel berupa purposive sampling dengan sampel kelas XI 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil uji Wilcoxon Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Hasil Belajar memperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000. Hasil uji Hipotesis Mann-whitney pada Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis memperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 sedangkan Hasil Uji Hipotesis Mann-whitney pada Hasil Belajar Siswa memperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000. Hasil uji N-Gain Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai 0,7 termasuk kategori tinggi dan kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai 0,5 termasuk kategori sedang. Sedangkan uji N-Gain Hasil Belajar Siswa kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai 0,7 dengan kategori tinggi dan kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai 0,6 dengan kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Suplemen Bahan Ajar Sistem Hormon Berbasis Problem Based Learning efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa SMA.
