Abstract

Practical work is a form of education and vocational implementation that is followed by students so that students can work directly in the business world as well as industry or fabrication. Practical work aims to prepare students to become productive human beings and can immediately work in accordance with their respective fields, students can also feel the atmosphere of production and can help deal with some problems- problems experienced by Engineering professionals inside the factory. Therefore, in welding, knowledge must accompany practice, in more detail it can be said that the design of building construction and machines with welded joints, must also be planned about welding methods. This method of inspection, welding material, and type of weld to be used, based on the function of the building parts or machines designed. Based on the definition of DIN (Deutch Industrie Normen) Galvanized Welded Broken Products is the best way to assemble or connect constructions and products made from iron. This welding method is specifically performed for galvanized materials. The iron welding process requires special preparation and skills. Based on the results of fieldwork practices that have been carried out in CV. Sumber Agung Widodo, The process of making panel tables is carried out into several stages, namely the hollow iron cutting, 45- degree galvanized angle cutting, iron plate cutting, elbow iron cutting, splicing by welding, frame painting, and mounting a series of panels to the finished panel table. The materials used are hollow iron, iron plate, elbow iron, iron paint, wheels. The tools used are ac current welding machines, grinders and elbow rulers. Abstract

Cockroaches are disease vectors that pose health and aesthetic problems. Traditional control methods use insecticides, which are becoming ineffective and environmentally harmful due to residue. An alternative method involves gel bait with plant-based insecticides, such as grading tubers, which are toxic to insects. This research aims to determine the optimal combination of grading tuber extract and boric acid in gel bait by calculating LC50 and LT50. Conducted at the Yogyakarta Health Polytechnic Vector and Animal Control Laboratory in February-March 2023, the study used a proper experimental design with a post-test-only control group. Five treatments were tested with five repetitions each, using 125 female cockroaches (Blatella germanica) selected via purposive sampling. Mortality data were analyzed using One Way Anova, LSD tests (p-value < 0.05), and probit regression. Results showed significant differences in mortality rates among treatments (p-value = 0.000). Variation C had the highest mortality rate, while variation B was the most effective, with an LC50 of 7.227 g. LT50 values were 99.237 hours for 5 g, 93.797 hours for 10 g, and 73.463 hours for 15 g. This study concludes that gel bait with grading tuber extract and boric acid is a promising alternative for cockroach control.

Abstract

Turbin Mikrohidro adalah sebutan yang dipakai alat konversi energi air menjadi putaran poros yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk instalasi generator listrik.. Suatu desain mikrohidro membutuhkan dua hal, debit air serta ketinggian jatuh (head) berguna untuk menciptakan daya yang bisa digunakan. Pada riset ini memakai turbin air dengan jenis Pelton, diseleksi turbin itu sebab sesuai diaplikasikan pada head yang cukup tinggi. Saat sebelum diaplikasikan butuh terdapatnya pengetesan dengan prototipe agar mengenali seberapa besar jumlah putaran yang diperoleh. Tujuan dari riset itu digunakan untuk mengenali pengaruh variasi diameter nozzle dan tekanan air terhadap daya dan efesiensi turbin. Turbin yang diuji mempunyai nilai efisiensi sebesar 15,7%. Dan didapatkan bahwa semakin kecil diameter nosel maka tekanan air pada turbin akan semakin meningkat dan daya pada turbin akan semakin besar. Daya maksimum turbin dicapai pada 7,02 watt.

Abstract

This research project aims to examine how the fulfillment of the workforce can enhance customer satisfaction through a comprehensive analysis of existing literature in the field. The objective of this study is to examine the relationship between the quantity, quality, and distribution of the workforce and the level of customer satisfaction. Previous research indicates that ensuring the optimal quantity, skill level, and strategic placement of the workforce can enhance service performance and, subsequently, customer satisfaction. Additionally, workforce training and development, as well as an effective performance management system, are vital in developing a workforce equipped to address customer needs.

Abstract

Abstrak Jual beli merupakan kegiatan tukar menukar yang dilakukan oleh pihak penjual dan pembeli. Salah satu sektor jual beli yang terjadi adalah sektor perekonomian tembakau. Masyarakat Desa Klepu, Kranggan, Temanggung, Jawa Tengah dalam melakukan jual beli masih dilandaskan dengan asas kepercayaan dan tanpa adanya bukti secara tertulis. Hal ini mendasari tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana legalitas dan perlindungan hukum perjanjian jual beli tembakau tanpa dilengkapi dengan bukti tertulis dan untuk mengetahui akibat hukum Pidana yang timbul jika salah satu dari pihak penjual atau pembeli melakukan penipuan. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian kualitatif dengan melakukan pengumpulan data dan wawancara terhadap responden yang dilakukan di Desa Klepu, Kranggan, Temanggung, Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 71% masyarakat melakukan jual beli dilengkapi dengan bukti tertulis dan sebanyak 29% melakukan jual beli tanpa dilengkapi bukti tertulis. Hal ini dapat dikatakan bahwa angka atau tingkat kepercayaan masyarakat masih cukup tinggi khususnya dalam melakukan jual beli, Dalam sistem jual beli tembakau tanpa di lengkapi bukti tertulis bisa memberikan dampak kerugian dan bisa mengarah ke tindak pidana penipuan sebagaimana telah diatur dalam pasal 378 KUH Pidana tentang tindak pidana penipuan diancam penjara maksimal 4 tahun. Kata Kunci: Jual Beli, Asas Kepercayaan, Tanpa Bukti Tertulis, Penipuan Abstract Buying and selling is an exchange activity carried out by the seller and the buyer. One of the trading sectors that occurs is the tobacco economy sector. The people of Klepu, Kranggan, Temanggung, Central Java, in buying and selling are still based on the principle of trust and without any written evidence. This underlies the objectives of the study, namely to find out how the legality and legal protection of the tobacco sale and purchase agreement without written evidence and to find out the consequences of criminal law that arise if one of the sellers or buyers commits fraud. This research is included in qualitative research by collecting data and interviewing respondents in Klepu Village, Kranggan, Temanggung, Central Java. The results showed that as many as 71% of the people made buying and selling equipped with written evidence and as many as 29% made buying and selling without any written evidence. It can be said that the number or level of public confidence is still quite high, especially in buying and selling. In the tobacco trading system without written evidence it can have a negative impact and can lead to criminal acts of fraud as regulated in article 378 of the Criminal Code regarding the act of the criminal of fraud is punishable by a maximum of 4 years in prison.

Abstract

Paloh Beach, Sambas Regency is the most potential beach as a green turtle nesting (Chelonia mydas) and is the longest turtle nesting site in Indonesia. The sustainability of green turtles is still an issue that must be resolved. Many factors influence such as extreme climate change, predator disturbance, and human actions so that the green turtle population is declining and even threatened with extinction. The purpose of this study was to determine the success rate of hatching green turtles with semi-natural incubation systems in Paloh District. The location and time of the research were carried out at Wahana Bahari Paloh domiciled in Setinggak Hamlet, Sebubus Village, Paloh District, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan for 4 months from February to June 2023. The method used is the descriptive method. This research activity includes transferring turtle eggs to semi-natural nests (egg relocation), demolition of semi-natural nests, and calculating the hatchability rate of green turtle eggs. The result of this study is that the success rate of hatchability of green turtle eggs on average is 78.70%

Abstract

Aluminum is widely used in the industrial world, usually, the connection of aluminum often uses the rivet method and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding. Many welding methods can be used for joining aluminum, but the Friction Stir Welding method is the most recommended method because the process is simple and does not pose a health hazard. This research was conducted to determine the contribution of the Friction Stir Welding (FSW) process parameter to the depth of surface defects using a hexagonal pin geometric tool. Welding material uses AA6061-T651 aluminum and uses 4 parameters: tool speed, welding speed, concave shoulder angle, and tool tilt angle. In this process, the Taguchi method is used to study the effect of parameters with a predetermined process variation. From the results of ANOVA with signal to noise, more minor is better, we get a significant factor in the depth of surface defects. The results obtained are surface defects close to 0 mm or parallel to the specimen surface, in specimen 16 with a tool slope parameter of 2°, a tool rotation speed of 3022 rpm, welding speed of 60 mm/m, and a concave shoulder angle of 11°.

Abstract

In the learning process at the inclusive junior high school SMP Muhammadiyah 5 in the city of Cimahi, conventional methods are still employed, utilizing limited book resources, and students remain passive, merely listening to what the teacher imparts. Augmented Reality is a technology that combines the real world with digital or virtual elements, creating an engaging and interactive user experience. The purpose of this research is to develop a learning media using Augmented Reality technology that is engaging and interactive in the field of Science, thus facilitating both teachers and students in comprehending the material. The stages in this research employ the Multimedia Life Cycle method, which includes concept, design, data collection, creation, testing, and distribution. The research has successfully developed an Android-based application that has undergone black box testing. Survey results also indicate a 90% satisfaction rate, demonstrating that the application is easy to use, interactive, and engaging.

Abstract

Danau Mare, sebuah objek wisata yang berada di Desa Samba Bakumpai, Kabupaten Katingan, memiliki potensi wisata yang besar namun belum terkelola dengan baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggali potensi tersebut melalui analisis SWOT. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi lapangan, dokumentasi, dan wawancara dengan responden kunci. Hasil Analisis menunjukkan bahwa Danau Mare dapat dikembangkan dengan menggabungkan daya tarik alamnya dengan nilai sejarah dan budaya lokal. Saran kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan koordinasi dan kerja sama yang sinergis antara instansi terkait dengan seluruh stakeholder yang berkepentingan dalam pengelolaan dan pengembangan objek wisata Danau Mare

Abstract

The aim of this learning is to see an increase in the learning outcomes of class V students at SDN Kandangan 1 Ngawi in science and technology subjects, Ecosystem component material using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The subjects in this research were class V students at SDN Kandangan 1 Ngawi Regency with a total of 17 children. Data collection techniques in this research were observation, tests and documentation. The research data analysis technique uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research show a significant improvement from each cycle. In the pre-cycle or before using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, it was discovered that only 23.52% of students or the equivalent of 4 children had achieved the science and science learning objectives on land ecosystem food chains. Furthermore, in cycle 1 there was a significant increase in learning outcomes as evidenced by the fact that 64.7% of students or the equivalent of 11 children had achieved the learning objectives. Continuing in the second cycle, learning outcomes also increased in the second cycle, amounting to 88.23% or the equivalent of 15 students having achieved this learning objective. The conclusion of this research is that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in science and science lessons on Ecosystem Components using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model.
