Abstract

This article is the result of a literature study that aims to examine multicultural-based learning in the diversity of elementary school students. This research is motivated by the diversity of students in elementary schools so that the role of education is very important by implementing multicultural-based learning. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research in the form of a literature review of ten articles obtained from a number of databases. The results of the literature study show that elementary schools have students with diverse conditions, the cultivation of multicultural values is very important to minimize the negative impact of individual differences. Based on these conditions, multicultural-based learning has an important role to be taught to both normal and special needs students. The application of multicultural-based learning can foster awareness of the diversity that exists in students. Multicultural-based learning is expected to be supported by all elements of the elementary school community. The implementation of multicultural-based learning is expected to be implemented well by all parties such as teachers and other educational actors.

Abstract

Multicultural education plays a vital role in Indonesia., a country with a lot of diversity. Multicultural education emerged with the aim of fighting discrimination, prejudice, or conflict due to misunderstanding or intolerance towards differences. The research aims to explore how multicultural education contributes to the development of diversity in inclusive schools. A literature study methodology is used in this study with secondary data in the form of books, articles, journals, and other documents as research sources. The results are prepared using the principle of simplicity in order to facilitate the reader's comprehension. This research shows that in an inclusive school environment, multicultural education plays a crucial role in building awareness, appreciation, and tolerance for student diversity. By strengthening students' characters and creating an inclusive learning environment, multicultural education can help overcome stereotypes, prejudices, and intercultural conflicts.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) explain the concepts of multicultural education and inclusive education (2) analyze the relationship between multicultural education and inclusive education. This type of research is library research which is descriptive qualitative in nature. The data analysis technique is content analysis. The results of this research show that multicultural education is education that emphasizes the process of cultivating a way of life that is mutually respectful, sincere and tolerant of cultural diversity living in a society with a high level of plurality. This concept is in line with the concept of inclusive education, namely an educational process that provides opportunities for all children by prioritizing aspects of personal, academic and professional development, including children with disabilities and special children without any distinction, to study in the same school environment. The relationship between multicultural education and inclusive education is in the form of disassociative social relations (contradiction) and associative social relations (accommodation). To support the success of this education, the National Education System Law and Minister of National Education Regulation No. 70 of 2009 must be implemented correctly and receive support from schools, communities and families.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss the importance of multicultural education and inclusion in primary schools in the context of Indonesia's diversity. With a large population and abundant cultural wealth, Indonesia is the largest multicultural country in the world. However, there are still challenges in implementing multicultural and inclusive education, especially related to violence in the school environment which is often triggered by students' lack of understanding of the meaning of multiculturalism and inclusion. Lack of multicultural education, inclusion, and awareness of the importance of respecting diversity are the main causes of violence in elementary schools. Multicultural and inclusive education is expected to shape students' character to accept, appreciate, and respect differences and avoid discrimination as well as the importance of creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.

Abstract

Education for children with special needs (ABK) requires intensive support from parents and teachers to ensure the child's development and welfare. Parents have an important role in providing love, attention and deep understanding, while teachers have an important role in creating inclusive learning programs. and individualistic. The purpose of writing this scientific article is to find out the role of teachers and parents in the learning of children with special needs (ABK). This research was conducted using qualitative research methods, literature study or literature research. The data taken comes from research that already exists on the internet. The research results show that the role of parents in the education of ABK is very important and multifaceted. They serve as a child's primary advocate, working with schools to plan and implement educational programs that meet their child's unique needs. In addition, parents also provide critical emotional support for their children, helping them overcome obstacles and foster self-confidence. On the teacher's side, this research highlights the importance of in-depth knowledge of a child's special needs and the ability to adapt teaching methods. Teachers are identified as the main agents in implementing an inclusive learning approach and facilitating the social integration of ABK with their peers. The conclusion obtained is that teachers and parents have their respective roles in educating children with special needs, where they have a very important role for education. children with special needs (ABK).

Abstract

In organizing quality and quality education, of course, the government has a rule, which is a reference for educational institutions. Educational assessment standards are a reference or guideline for educators, education units, and the government in carrying out assessments of student learning outcomes. The literature study method is used to analyze the assessment standards and provide an overview for educators in understanding the assessment standards in Permendikbudristek No. 21 of 2022. The results of this analysis are expected to help educators to understand the outline of the latest assessment standards and provide insight into the success of the assessment process at the elementary school level. Assessment of learning outcomes is divided into formative and summative, which aims to provide feedback to students and evaluate their achievements at the end of the learning period. Reporting of assessment results should be informative and understood by all stakeholders and provide follow-up recommendations for further development.
