Abstract

Optimal production planning in order to maximize profits, taking into account the limited resources they have. UKM Puguh Jaya is a mattress fabric convection business. There are several types of manufactured products including: 120 types of fabric, 140 types of fabric, the type of fabric 160. Production planning in SMEs can be seen as an integer programming model that aims to maximize profits, by determining the amount of production for each type and remember all the resources limited availability. The solution search for this model is done by the Branch and Bound algorithm. Based on the calculation results using QM software for Windows, it is known that the determination of the amount of production using branches and algorithms is bound to provide a profit increase of 18.7% compared to the profit from the previous UKM Puguh Jaya.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to minimization of snack distribution costs at Marcuy SMEs using the Stepping Stone, Least Coast, VAM and MODI Method. Method: This study uses the type of data obtained is secondary data, namely the data obtained directly at UKM Makaroni Cihuy. In data processing, the data is processed using the transportation model, namely the method of Stepping Stone, least cost, vogel approximation and modi. Result: Based on the results of research on UKM Marcuy for ensure product delivery budget process using the Stepping Stone, Least Coast, Vogel Approximattion Method (VAM) and Modified Distribution (MODI) methods. From the calculation using the four methods get the same result, namely the distribution costs incurred are Rp. 31.750,- for the type of product packaging 90 gr and Rp. 67.000,- for the type of product packaging 133 gr. Limitation: This research is limited to the problem of minimizing the cost of distribution of snacks in UKM Marcuy. In addition, this study is also limited by the transportation methods used, including the Stepping stone, Least Cost, VAM, and MODI methods. Contribution: This research is expected to provide an optimal solution to the problem of optimization of distribution costs in UKM Marcuy. Furthermore, this research can be a reference for research related to the implementation of the stepping stone, least cost, VAM, and MODI methods in minimizing distribution costs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi tes literasi matematika berbasis komputer dengan pendekatan item response theory yang teruji kelayakan dan keunggulannya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan Model Bord and Gall. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket, dan tes literasi matematika pada level sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan terkait esensi aplikasi yang dikembangkan. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan studi literatur untuk menemukan model pengembangan yang cocok untuk pengembangan aplikasi tes literasi matematika ini. Pengembangan aplikasi ini diintegrasikan dengan pendekatan Item Response Theory (IRT) untuk meningkatkan akurasi pada pengukuran kemampuan literasi matematika. Rancangan aplikasi yang dibuat kemudian divalidasi oleh para pakar yang memiliki keahlian yang sesuai. Rancangan aplikasi komputer ini menggunakan Visual Basic for Application (VBA) pada Microsoft Excel. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi proses perancangan aplikasi. Tampilan yang dihasilkan juga menjadi lebih interaktif dan mudah digunakan. Aplikasi yang telah dirancang selanjutnya diujicobakan kepada 250 siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terhadap data hasil uji coba, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi tes literasi matematika yang telah dirancang dapat memberikan hasil pengukuran tingkat literasi matematika siswa dengan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi.

Abstract

Metaphor is a powerful cognitive tool to understand or develop mathematical concepts. Although metaphor has been progressively recognized in mathematics education, there is an inadequate systematic review of its application and achievement. Therefore, this study aims to investigate and map metaphors studies trends in mathematics education. Data were collected from a systematic review of 70 metaphor studies in mathematics education published from 2012–2021 using the PRISMA guidelines. The results showed the mapping of the metaphor studies' attributes in mathematics education. Future research can use this information as the basis for determining the novelty of research related to metaphors. Furthermore, they can use this information to determine its potential and opportunities for future research. The primary limitation of this review is related to the sensitivity of the search strategy, which makes it impossible to cover relevant studies comprehensively.

Abstract

Tipe kepribadian mempunyai keterampilan berpikir kreatif yang berbeda-beda dalam memecahkan masalah. Siswa yang memiliki tingkat kepribadian yang berbeda dan pemecahan masalah yang berbeda, maka dalam menyelesaikan suatu persoalan atau masalah mempunyai cara penyelesaian yang berbeda juga Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menghasilkan gambaran yang jelas dan terperinci mengenai kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam pemecahan masalah matematika dalam menyelesaikan soal pola bilangan berdasarkan tipe kepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert siswa kelas VIII SMP N 17 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas kelas VIII-I SMPN 17 Kota Jambi tahun ajaran 2023/2024 sebanyak 6 subjek. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi dokumentasi, angket, dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: angket tipe kepribadian, tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian kualitatif ini meliputi: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verivikasi. Adapun prosedur yang dilakukan dalam penelitian kualitatif ini yakni meliputi tahap pra-lapangan dan tahap pekerjaan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam pemecahan masalah matematika siswa berbeda-beda, kepribadian siswa mempengaruhi kemampuan siswa.

Abstract

The incidence of cyberbullying in adolescents is increasing. This is, in part, attributed to the progress of Science and Technology (IPTEK), which is inseparable from the negative impact of cyberbullying. The latter has become central to adolescent communication. Consequently, cyberbullying, especially among adolescents, demands serious attention for early intervention. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of cyberbullying among students at SMP IT Jambi City by implementing the Rasch Model, a modern theoretical approach enhancing the accuracy of measuring latent variables. The research included 91 students from classes VII and VIII, selected through proportional random sampling. Data collection employed the Cyber Victim and Bullying Scale (CVBS) with 28 questions. The Rasch Model analysis revealed a high level of cyberbullying among adolescents at SMP IT Jambi City, with 52.2% categorized as high and 47.8% as low. The results demonstrated high accuracy, evident in validity and reliability coefficients of 0.87 and 0.71, respectively. This research provides valuable information for stakeholders aiming to maintain a cyberbullying-free climate.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa menjadi latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kualitas Media Pembelajaran Wegos (Web Google Sites) berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang dilihat dari segi kualitas yakni valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development. dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini meliputi tim ahli, guru matematika, dan siswa kelas VIII.E SMP Negeri 7 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen pengumpulan data yang mencakup angket validasi, angket praktikalitas, angket efektifitas dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Hasil angket validasi untuk aspek materi sebesar 83% dan untuk aspek desain sebesar 74,73%. Persentase tingkat kepraktisan guru sebesar 88% dan tingkat kepraktisan oleh siswa sebesar 90,89%. Tingkat kefektifan berdasarkan hasil angket efektifitas oleh siswa diperoleh persentase sebesar 92,53%. Perolehan rata-rata skor pretest siswa adalah 29,96 dengan kategori rendah, sedangkan rata-rata skor posttest siswa sebesar 77%, untuk hasil rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,67 yang menunjukkan peningkatan dengan kategori tinggi serta persentase keefektifan N-Gain sebesar 67% dengan kategori cukup efektif, berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat dikatakan media pembelajaran Wegos (Web Google Sites) berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.

Abstract

Rendahnya motivasi siswa dalam belajar matematika menjadi latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui proses dan hasil pengembangan e-modul berbasis model M-APOS terintegrasi film animasi Toontastic 3D guna meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik SMP Kelas VII dan mengetahui kualitas yang dilihat dari kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini menggunakan subjek uji coba yang terdiri dari tim ahli, guru bidang studi matematika, dan siswa kelas VII.1 SMP Negeri 21 Batang Hari. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi analisis data validasi ahli, analisis data kepraktisan dan analisis data keefektifan. Hasil angket validasi untuk aspek materi sebesar 80% dan untuk aspek desain sebesar 91,11 %. Persentase tingkat kepraktisan guru sebesar 91,11%% dan tingkat kepraktisan oleh siswa sebesar 93,77%. Tingkat kefektifan berdasarkan hasil angket efektifitas oleh siswa diperoleh persentase sebesar 95,11%. Perolehan rata-rata tes hasil belajar siswa yakni 81% dengan kategori sangat efektif, perolehan rata-rata skor angket motivasi siswa setelah menggunakan e-modul berbasis model M-APOS terintegrasi film animasi menggunakan Toontastic 3D adalah 89,46% dengan kategori tinggi sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa e-modul berbasis model M-APOS terintegrasi filatod(film animasi: toontastic 3d) dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between self-efficacy, students' interest, and physics learning outcomes for students in classes XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 at SMA Negeri 16 Bungo. The learning outcomes are focused on the dimensions of conceptual and factual knowledge. Data on students' self-efficacy and interest were collected through a structured scale questionnaire, while data on students' learning outcomes in conceptual and factual knowledge were obtained through test instruments. The results indicate a positive correlation between students' self-efficacy, interest in learning, and physics learning outcomes. The correlation coefficient (r value) obtained is greater than the critical r value, with significance less than 0.05. Regression analysis reveals that the calculated F value is greater than the critical F value, and the calculated t value is greater than the critical t value, both with significance less than 0.05. Regression analysis also shows that self-efficacy and students' interest in learning affect physics learning outcomes by 68%, leaving 32% influenced by other factors not investigated in this study. For teachers, this research provides practical insights into the importance of developing students' self-efficacy and interest in the context of physics learning. By considering these aspects, teachers can design more effective teaching strategies to support students' optimal development in physics learning. In the theoretical framework, these findings support the concept that internal factors such as self-efficacy and interest play a crucial role in achieving good learning outcomes.

Abstract

The study aims to study and analyze the learning style of students of the eighth grade at SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi, especially in the context of IPA learning. The focus of the study is to identify preferences of student learning style based on three main dimensions, namely visual, auditory, and kinesthetics. This research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach by involving eighth grade students as primary respondents. Research instruments in the form of questionnaires are designed to measure the preferences of students' learning styles according to visual, auditory, and kinesthetic characteristics. The total number of samples observed came from 8 classes with a total of 226 students of the 8th grade. Based on the data processing of the research it is known that the learning style of students on the subject of IPA Class VIII generally in SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi in 2023. A total of 45.13% or 102 respondents were visual in very high categories, as many as 32.74% or 74 auditory respondents with very high Categories and as much as 22.12% or 50 kinesthetic respondents in moderate categories. So from this study it can be concluded that the students of the eighth grade who follow the learning of IPA are more likely to the visual learning style with the highest percentage of 45.15%. The teacher who will teach in the class can adapt the model and learning media that corresponds to the learning style that the student has. The results of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of the learning style of students of the eighth grade at SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi, especially in IPA subjects.
