Abstract

Permasalahan sampah merupakan isu nasional yang semakin krusial seiring dengan peningkatan jumlah penduduk, perkembangan teknologi, dan perubahan gaya hidup masyarakat. Akumulasi sampah yang tidak terkendali berdampak langsung terhadap kualitas lingkungan dan kesehatan. Pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga, khususnya sampah organik, masih menjadi tantangan di wilayah pedesaan, termasuk di Desa Bogorejo, Kecamatan Gedong Tataan. Meskipun masyarakat desa umumnya memiliki pekarangan rumah yang luas, kebiasaan membakar sampah masih sering dilakukan karena dianggap lebih praktis. Praktik ini berisiko menimbulkan pencemaran udara dan gangguan kesehatan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengubah paradigma masyarakat dalam menangani sampah organik melalui pelatihan pengolahan sampah rumah tangga menjadi kompos menggunakan metode Takakura yang mudah, murah, dan ramah lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup sosialisasi, demonstrasi teknik, praktik pembuatan kompos, hingga pemanfaatan kompos sebagai media tanam sayuran organik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah serta munculnya inisiatif rumah tangga untuk mulai menanam sayuran secara mandiri. Program ini membuktikan bahwa teknologi tepat guna seperti metode Takakura dapat menjadi solusi alternatif dalam pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan dan mendukung ketahanan pangan keluarga di pedesaan.

Abstract

The use of appropriate media is a crucial factor in enhancing students' writing skills, particularly in composing biographical texts. Effective media not only facilitate student engagement but also support the construction of coherent and compelling life narratives. This study aims to examine students' attention levels and evaluate the effectiveness of Padlet as a digital learning medium in improving students’ competence in writing biographical manuscripts. A pre-experimental design with a one-shot case study approach was employed, involving 24 students from Class X-2 selected through cluster sampling. Data were collected using observations and questionnaires, and analyzed through both descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The findings reveal two key outcomes: (1) student attention during the learning process was notably high, with observed activity increasing from 87.92% to 99.33%, supported by a normality test significance value of 0.083; (2) the use of Padlet proved significantly effective, as evidenced by a calculated t-value of 47.54, which far exceeded the critical t-table value of 2.068. These results suggest that Padlet is a valid and effective medium for supporting the teaching and learning of biographical writing. This study contributes to the growing body of research on digital media integration in language learning by empirically demonstrating that Padlet enhances student engagement and writing competence. It provides practical insights for educators seeking innovative tools to improve writing instruction, especially in the context of biographical texts. Moreover, the study reinforces the pedagogical value of interactive platforms in fostering active learning and higher-order thinking skills in secondary education

Abstract

This study looks at 1) the typical math problem-solving mistakes students make using the Newmann procedure after learning with digital books through guided discovery, 2) errors related to how independent students are in their learning, and 3) how independent students are in their learning after using the guided discovery model. Analysis is descriptive in this research. This research included SMPS Dharma Patra grade VIII students. Data analysis indicated that 1) students made the most errors in solving mathematical problems-solving problems based on the Newmann procedure after the guided discovery learning model using digital books was applied: high-category students made encoding errors, and medium-category students made process skill errors and writing errors. 2) Moderate learning independence pupils make 20% transformation mistakes, 80% process skill errors, and 90% writing errors. Students with limited learning independence make 66.67% comprehension errors, 77.78% transformation errors, 100% process skill errors, and 100% final response writing errors. In addition, 36.67% of high-learning independence kids satisfied all criteria. Moderate learning independence students meet four to five markers at 33.34%. Low learning independence students meet one to three markers at 30%.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence of job characteristics and individual characteristics on organizational commitment and their implications for job satisfaction. This study is a positivist study, with an explanatory or explanatory type of research. This study uses a quantitative approach because the data that will be used to analyze the relationship between variables is expressed in numbers or numerical scales. The population in this study includes all employees working at PT. Best Profit Futures Malang branch office totaling 131 employees. To measure the sample size to be studied, the researcher used the Slovin formula, which was 57 employees. The statistical data analysis technique through Path Analysis used in this study is Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS application. The results showed that job characteristics have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Individual characteristics do not have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Job characteristics have a significant positive effect on organizational commitment. Individual characteristics have a significant positive effect on organizational commitment. Organizational commitment has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Job characteristics have an effect on job satisfaction mediated by organizational commitment. Individual characteristics have an effect on job satisfaction mediated by organizational commitment.

Abstract

This study examines the apology speech strategies in online buying and selling interactions within the Madurese ethnic community using an ethnocyberpragmatic approach. Apologies are a crucial aspect of interpersonal communication, reflecting politeness, ethics, and efforts to maintain social harmony. In the context of cattle trading conducted via social media platforms such as YouTube, the Madurese people display distinct linguistic practices. The data were collected through non-participant observation of 200 YouTube Shorts videos depicting cattle trading interactions uploaded on the “Dunia Sapi” social media account. The findings reveal that the apology strategies employed include expressions of regret, direct apologies, reasoning, acknowledgment of fault, as well as newly identified strategies such as warnings and reproaches—elements not found in the CCSARP (Cross-Cultural Speech Act Realization Project) model. These results indicate that digital media does not erase local cultural traces but instead serves as a new space for expressing cultural values in online communication. This study underscores the importance of understanding linguistic dynamics in digitally mediated social interactions and expands cross-cultural pragmatic studies through an approach that integrates ethnographic and pragmatic analysis in the context of ethnic online communication.

Abstract

Wakaf memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung pembangunan sektor pendidikan Islam. Sebagai instrumen keuangan sosial Islam, wakaf tidak hanya bersifat ibadah, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai mekanisme pendanaan alternatif yang berkelanjutan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi optimalisasi wakaf dalam pengembangan lembaga pendidikan Islam melalui pendekatan kelembagaan, manajerial, dan inovatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur yang dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi wakaf dalam pendidikan dapat diwujudkan melalui profesionalisasi nazhir, integrasi wakaf produktif, dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Dengan dukungan kebijakan yang kuat dan tata kelola yang transparan, wakaf berpotensi menjadi fondasi utama bagi kemandirian dan kemajuan lembaga pendidikan Islam di masa depan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of mathematical creative thinking in solving graph problems based on students' learning styles. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. This study was conducted on 5th semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Universitas PGRI Semarang in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. Subjects were taken by purposive sampling. The research instruments were in the form of mathematical creative thinking tests, learning style questionnaires and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques included validity, reliability, discriminatory power and difficulty level tests. Furthermore, data validity tests were carried out using the technical triangulation method and qualitative data analysis using an interactive analysis model. The results of the study showed that the mathematical creative thinking process of the average of the four students' learning styles at the preparation stage did not meet the indicators of flexibility and originality. The incubation and illumination stages still need assistance to bring up the originality indicators. While the verification stage has met the four indicators of mathematical creative thinking ability completely. Thus, the findings of this study can be used as a consideration for lecturers in understanding the differences in students' learning styles. Lecturers can provide appropriate scaffolding to make it easier for students to solve graph problems.

Abstract

Penerapan restorative justice sebagai pendekatan alternatif dalam sistem peradilan pidana terus berkembang, termasuk dalam konteks peradilan militer yang selama ini identik dengan pendekatan retributif dan struktur hierarkis yang ketat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemungkinan penerapan restorative justice dalam sistem peradilan militer Indonesia, dengan meninjau dari perspektif kepentingan militer, serta regulasi hukum yang berlaku. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan yuridis normatif, dengan mengkaji peraturan perundang-undangan dan literatur hukum yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua model utama yang dapat diadopsi, yakni victim-offender mediation seperti di Amerika Serikat dan dual track restorative justice sebagaimana diterapkan di Belgia. Di lingkungan militer, penerapan konsep ini dapat dilakukan melalui penguatan hukum disiplin oleh Ankum, penghentian perkara oleh Papera, serta melalui asas pemaafan hakim (rechterlijk pardon) dalam perkara ringan. Namun, pelaksanaannya memerlukan payung hukum yang kuat, teknis, dan terintegrasi antara lembaga penegak hukum militer dan Mahkamah Agung

Abstract

The cigarette industry in Indonesia continues to grow and makes a significant contribution to state revenues. However, strict regulations such as increased excise rates, advertising bans, and negative sentiment towards cigarette consumption can affect the profitability and stock prices of companies in this sector. This study aims to analyze the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Current Ratio (CR), and Quick Ratio (QR) on the stock prices of cigarette sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the period 2018-2023. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS The results of the study show that ROA has a significant positive effect on stock prices, ROE has a significant negative effect on stock prices, NPM has a significant negative effect on stock prices. Meanwhile, CR and QR do not have a significant effect on stock prices. Simultaneously, the five variables have a significant effect on stock prices. These findings indicate that profitability, especially ROA, is the main factor considered by investors in assessing cigarette company stocks, while liquidity is not a major concern. This research provides insight for investors and company management regarding the importance of asset and profit management strategies to maintain the attractiveness of shares in the capital market.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the internalization process of social piety values and tolerance among non-Muslim students at SDN 5 Cerme Bondowoso. The research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that social piety values are internalized through programs such as social service and interfaith interactions, which enhance tolerance, empathy, and student care. Moreover, positive interactions between Muslim and non-Muslim students, particularly during joint celebrations, strengthen mutual respect. The role of teachers is significant in creating an inclusive atmosphere and supporting discussions on diversity differences. Overall, this research finds that a supportive school environment can contribute to the formation of a harmonious and inclusive society. The results provide recommendations for other schools in Indonesia to implement similar programs to support values of tolerance and social piety.
