Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate a music learning model based on the traditional Tongkek musical instrument for elementary school students. This study uses a qualitative approach with an educational ethnography design to reveal the implementation process, effectiveness, and meanings that emerge in learning. The results show that the use of the Tongkek musical instrument significantly improves students' musical understanding, especially in the aspects of rhythm and tempo. Students show better kinesthetic and auditory responses, as well as higher active engagement and learning motivation compared to conventional learning methods. In addition, Tongkek-based learning also encourages the growth of cultural awareness and strengthens students' local identity. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the traditional Tongkek musical instrument in music learning in elementary schools has proven effective in improving students' understanding of musical concepts, especially rhythm and tempo, as well as strengthening collaboration skills and cultural awareness. Despite challenges such as limited teacher training, this learning method holistically improves students' musical motivation and identity. Abstract

This study focuses on the evaluation of the planning of 9-year compulsory basic education in East Lombok Regency, with the main objective of assessing the effectiveness of planning oriented to minimum service standards (MSS). This education planning is considered important in addressing the gap in access to education and improving the quality of basic education at the regional level. The research hypothesis is that the proper implementation of MSS in basic education planning can significantly improve access and quality of education and reduce illiteracy rates in the region. This research method combines qualitative and quantitative approaches through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, involving stakeholders such as education officials, school principals, and community leaders. This study found that the planning structure and products have included an in-depth analysis and appropriate budget allocation, but budget challenges and community support are aspects that need to be improved. The discussion of the research results emphasizes the importance of involving the community more actively and strengthening cross-sectoral collaboration to optimize the planning and implementation of basic education. Overall, this study makes a significant contribution to understanding the complexity of basic education planning in the region and offers recommendations for increasing the effectiveness of SPM implementation, which can play a role in improving the quality of education and reducing educational disparities in East Lombok Regency.

Abstract

This study examines the positive impact of Javanese Gamelan training activities on retired Javanese migrants in East Lombok. The main focus of the research is on strengthening cultural identity, the effectiveness of training activities, contributions to education and self-development, and designing holistic social activity programs. Active participation in traditional arts, especially Javanese Gamelan, positively impacts participants' psychological well-being, strengthens their sense of cultural identity, and improves life quality in retirement. The activity not only develops cultural and artistic skills but also creates strong social networks and a sense of togetherness, reducing the risk of social isolation. This holistic approach includes active cultural arts education and skill development through Gamelan training. The research highlights the importance of understanding different cultural backgrounds and the challenges of maintaining cultural heritage and designing inclusive and supportive programs. Additionally, social activity programs are directed toward meeting participants' psychological, social, and emotional needs, creating an experience that goes beyond mere physical activity. Overall results indicate that integrating cultural arts activities with a holistic approach can have a significant positive impact on cultural identity, psychological well-being, and retirees' quality of life. Besides, social activities, particularly Gamelan training, are deemed essential for enhancing retirees' physical and mental well-being and helping them adapt to new roles post-retirement. Social and cultural activities, especially those related to traditional arts, play a crucial role in supporting retirees, preserving culture, and creating mutually supportive communities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Learning Management System (LMS) on students' motivation and satisfaction levels. The research method used is quantitative with an associative approach. The study involves 60 students as subjects. The research technique employs simple random sampling with data collection conducted through questionnaires. Data analysis is performed using SPSS version 16. The results of the study indicate a positive and significant influence of LMS on students' learning motivation. Based on the significance test, the calculated t-value (4.382) > t-table (1.67155) for Y1 (learning motivation), which means Ho1 is rejected and Ha1 is accepted. The study also shows a positive and significant influence of LMS on students' satisfaction levels, with a calculated t-value (5.406) > t-table (1.67155), which means Ho1 is rejected and Ha1 is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that learning using LMS has a significant impact on students' motivation and satisfaction levels.

Abstract

In today’s rapidly evolving digital era, organizations across all sectors face increasing pressure to transform their business processes, technologies, and cultures to remain competitive. This study investigates the impact of change management, communication effectiveness, and organizational readiness on digital transformation success. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from 312 respondents representing various industries and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) in SmartPLS 4. The results reveal that all three constructs significantly and positively influence digital transformation success, with organizational readiness emerging as the strongest predictor. Furthermore, communication effectiveness partially mediates the relationship between change management and digital transformation success, while organizational readiness moderates this relationship. The model explains 68.4% of the variance in digital transformation success, demonstrating strong predictive and explanatory power. These findings confirm that successful digital transformation depends not only on technological investment but also on human-centric and organizational capabilities that ensure adaptability, clarity, and preparedness. The study contributes to theoretical advancement by integrating perspectives from change management, communication, and readiness theory within a unified framework. Practically, it offers guidance for leaders to enhance transformation outcomes by promoting transparent communication, structured change processes, and organizational readiness. Ultimately, this research underscores that digital transformation success is achieved when people, processes, and technology are strategically aligned under adaptive management.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between talent management, motivation, and career development on employee productivity in organizational settings. As businesses face increasing competition and workforce challenges, understanding how human resource practices influence performance has become essential. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from 250 employees across various industries and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results reveal that talent management, motivation, and career development each have a significant and positive effect on employee productivity, with talent management emerging as the most influential factor. These findings highlight that effective talent management practices such as strategic recruitment, competency development, and employee retention can substantially enhance organizational performance. Motivation, encompassing both intrinsic and extrinsic dimensions, was also found to drive higher productivity by fostering engagement and commitment. Additionally, career development opportunities contribute to improved productivity by increasing employees’ sense of purpose, capability, and career satisfaction. The study underscores the importance of adopting an integrated human resource management approach that combines talent optimization, motivational support, and career growth initiatives. Practically, the results suggest that organizations seeking to improve productivity should invest in employee-centered policies that align professional development with organizational goals. Theoretically, this research extends existing knowledge by validating the combined impact of these three key HR factors on productivity within the modern workplace context.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of blended learning on students' critical thinking skills. This research utilizes a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, employing a time series method. The research sample used a class drawing technique consisting of two classes with a sample of 30 students. The tools employed included essay questions and questionnaires to assess critical thinking variables and blended learning through the HOTS approach, in addition to field notes. The findings of the study indicate that implementing the blended learning model combined with the HOTS approach enhances students' critical thinking abilities. This is evidenced by the results of the anova test obtained an anova value of F calculated as 5.851 with a significance level of 0.036. The hypothesis is accepted since the calculated F value exceeds the F table value. Based on the study’s findings, it can be concluded that implementing the blended learning model with the HOTS approach is effective in enhancing students' critical thinking abilities in employment-related topics.
