Abstract

This classroom action research (CAR) aimed to: improve student’s activities and mathematics learning outcomes subject triangle and square for the student at class VII B of SMP Negeri 5 Surakarta through the implementation of the Make a Match cooperative learning model. This study used the method of CAR which was carried out during March until July 2018, and it was in the 2017/2018 academic year. The receptive subject of the study was the 29 students of VII B while the agent subject was the mathematics teacher. The data were collected by observation, test, and documentation. The data were then analyzed using the technique of comparative descriptive statistic and critical analysis. The result of CAR shows that the implementation of cooperative learning model type make a match can improve the student’s activities and student’s mathematics learning outcome. DOI: https://doi.org/10.30862/jhm.v1i2.1047

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan inovasi terkini dalam reformasi pendidikan Indonesia yang bertujuan meningkatkan relevansi dan mutu pendidikan. Namun, tantangan dalam penerapannya, seperti keterbatasan pemahaman guru, sumber daya, dan kondisi peserta didik, masih menjadi hambatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka melalui workshop bagi guru SMA di Kota Yogyakarta, yang melibatkan 62 guru dari berbagai sekolah dengan tingkat implementasi yang beragam. Workshop ini membahas pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, komunitas belajar, disiplin positif, dan P5 (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa meskipun hampir seluruh peserta telah mencoba menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, sebagian besar masih membutuhkan pendampingan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman. Komunitas belajar dan P5 juga membutuhkan perhatian lebih agar pelaksanaannya optimal. Tantangan utama lainnya meliputi konsistensi guru dalam menerapkan disiplin positif dan rendahnya komitmen siswa dalam bertanggung jawab. Studi ini merekomendasikan pembinaan lanjutan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan efektivitas implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Produce interactive learning media in the subject of Islamic Religious Education at SDIT Izzatul Islam Getasan, (2) Determine the feasibility of interactive learning media scratch games in the subject of Islamic Religious Education at SDIT Izzatul Islam Getasan. This type of research uses the development of Research and Development (R&D) which refers to the phase (4D), namely: the define phase (define), the design phase (design), the develop phase (develop) and the disseminate phase (disseminate). The subjects of this study were students of class V B SDIT Izzatul Islam Getasan in the academic year 2024/2025. The results of the validation test conducted by the two validators as a whole were 95% which means that the scratch game media is valid for use. The results of the practicality test of students' scores obtained a score of 96%. This proves that scratch game media is practically used. In the effectiveness test, the average student at the time of posttest increased. The average student learning outcomes during the pretest were 61,78. After using scratch game media, the average student posttest learning result increased to 83,92. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif pada mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SDIT Izzatul Islam Getasan, (2) Mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran interaktif game scratch pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SDIT Izzatul Islam Getasan. Jenis Penelitian ini mengunakan pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) yang mengacu pada fase (4D) yaitu: fase define (mendefinisikan), fase design (merancang), fase develop (mengembangkan) dan fase disseminate (menyebarkan). Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas V B SDIT Izzatul Islam Getasan tahun 2024/2025. Hasil uji validasi yang dilakukan dua validator secara keseluruhan sebesar 95% yang berati bahwa media game scratch sangat valid untuk digunakan. Hasil uji kepraktisan nilai siswa diperoleh nilai 96%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa media game scratch praktis digunakan. Pada uji efektifitas, rata-rata siswa pada saat posttest meningkat. Rerata hasil belajar siswa pada saat diadakan pretest adalah 61,78. Setelah mengunakan media game scratch, rerata hasil belajar siswa pada posttest meningkat menjadi 83,92.

Abstract

Sustainable power management in remote oilfield operations faces significant challenges due to grid dependency. This study evaluates a photovoltaic microgeneration system implementation at PT XYZ's oilfield facility using PVsyst simulation software. The methodology incorporates site-specific parameters to optimize system configuration for grid integration. Results show that a 4-unit monocrystalline photovoltaic array, receiving annual Global Horizon irradiation of 2008.9 kWh/m² and Global effective irradiation of 1893.9 kWh/m², achieves 2446.3 kWh/year generation capacity with 1974.6 kWh/year available for consumption. This microgeneration system meets 53.3% of the facility's 3706.9 kWh annual demand, with a Performance Ratio of 0.619, demonstrating significant potential for remote oilfield applications. The system's performance indicates opportunities for enhancement through capacity expansion, smart grid integration, and implementation of advanced monitoring systems, offering a scalable model for similar remote facilities in the oil and gas sector.

Abstract

The research in this article aims to review the available literature on integrating ethnoastronomy-based NASE on the understanding and trust of teachers, students, and society. The method used in this study is a literature review from 2010-2022, which strictly discusses the challenges in learning astronomy and astronomy in local wisdom with two questions that need to be answered, namely (1) what kind of challenges are faced when conducting astronomy learning and does NASE influence astronomy learning? (2) Does local wisdom relate to astronomical learning, and how does the community's understanding and beliefs relate to Ethnoastronomy? The results of the literature review stated that NASE has a positive influence on the challenges of learning astronomy, NASE has a relationship with local wisdom that discusses astronomy, and this research also shows that the relationship between local wisdom and astronomy with NASE can increase people's understanding and trust in Ethnoastronomy from each culture they have. This article recommends that astronomy-based NASE integrated learning with local wisdom can be applied in various countries, especially astronomy learning in Indonesia, so that the culture owned is preserved due to the times and can be used for learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze customer needs and preferences for web-based tailoring services in Baturaja City. Abstract-This study aims to analyze customer needs and preferences for web-based tailoring services in Baturaja City. This research adopts quantitative and qualitative approaches with data collection conducted through in-depth interviews with potential customers. The results showed that the majority of customers need tailoring services that can be accessed online, have online ordering features, cost estimation, and estimated processing time. Key customer preferences include ease of site navigation, price transparency, and speed of service response. This study provides recommendations for the development of a digital platform that can improve customer satisfaction while expanding the market reach for local tailors in Baturaja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis video shorts YouTube yang layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar mandiri, mengetahui kategori peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis video shorts YouTube sebagai sumber belajar mandiri, dan mengetahui kategori peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis video shorts YouTube sebagai sumber belajar mandiri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (RD). Penelitian ini mengadaptasi model 4D yang terdiri dari tahap define, design, development, dan disseminate. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode non tes berupa angket dan observasi, serta metode tes berupa pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan standar baku ideal, Aiken’s V, standar gain, dan independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran fisika berbasis video shorts YouTube layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar mandiri, media pembelajaran fisika berbasis video shorts YouTube sebagai sumber belajar mandiri dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik SMA dengan kategori sedang, dan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis video shorts YouTube sebagai sumber belajar mandiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik SMA pada dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk kualitas individu dan kemajuan suatu bangsa. Fisika, sebagai salah satu cabang ilmu utama, menuntut tingkat kecermatan dan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang tinggi. Namun, kurangnya minat belajar dan pemahaman konsep dalam pembelajaran fisika merupakan tantangan yang perlu diatasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis multimedia menggunakan software Articulate Storyline 3, fokus pada pemahaman konsep elastisitas dan hukum Hooke di kalangan siswa SMA kelas XI MIPA di SMAN 1 Turi. Metode penelitian menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Proses dimulai dengan analisis masalah dalam pembelajaran fisika, diikuti dengan desain media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan kurikulum. Proses pengembangan media melibatkan pembuatan konten, integrasi multimedia, dan uji coba prototipe. Implementasi dilakukan dalam pembelajaran fisika di SMAN 1 Turi, dengan evaluasi melalui penilaian oleh validator dan pengukuran pemahaman konsep serta minat belajar siswa. Metode pretest dan posttest digunakan untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep siswa sebelum dan setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini layak digunakan, dengan nilai simpangan baku ideal (SBi) dari penilaian validator sebesar 3,83 dan 3,81, menunjukkan kategori sangat baik. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan pemahaman konsep yang signifikan, dengan nilai standar gain (N-Gain) berturut-turut sebesar 0,49 dan 0,78, yang dikategorikan sebagai cukup dan tinggi. Efek penggunaan media ini juga cukup besar, ditandai dengan nilai effect size sebesar 0,720 dan 0,966, termasuk dalam kategori sangat besar. Ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline 3 efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

This IbM activity aims to: (1) improve knowledge and understanding of the participants on the basic concepts and principles on how to manufacture cattle feed supplements UMMB, (2) improve the skills of the trainees (breeders) in producing animal feed supplements UMMB; (3) increase the motivation of participants to develop the business of making cattle feed supplements in the village UMMB partners. The training was conducted by lecturing, discussion-information, workshops, and limited dissemination. This activity involves four lecturers, 3 students and 45 cattle breeders from 55 targeted participants. The cattle ranchers are from Jatisarono and Wijilan Villages, Nanggulan District, Kulonprogo. This program also involved Local Supervisor for Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (PPL) and village officials. Implementation activities began on June 26, 2012 and went on to the workshop stage. In general, the training was successful and on target. It can be seen from the increasing knowledge and understanding of cattle ranchers to manufacture cattle feed supplements UMMB at each stage of the PPM so that the workshop stage. The implementation of UMMB on cattle has fattened up the cattle by 10-12 pounds per week on a sample test cows.Key words: UMMB, fattening, supplements, and cattle

Abstract

The objectives of this activity are improving knowledge about how to initiate environment  based  science  laboratory work  and  giving  more  infor- mation to make science teachers feel enthusiastic, interested, and commited to create,  develop  and  implement  science  laboratory  work  in  their  school creatively. The target of this activity is science teacher at Kodya Yogyakarta. As for  execution  methods  worn  in  this  activity  are  experiment,  discourse, discussion  of  information  and  presentation.  The  materials  are  conducting science laboratory work through environment based, some difficulties and the solution which are found in the science class while conducting laboratory work. Science laboratory work focuses on giving information to the student about how to optimize daily activities for science laboratory work. Training is conducted in a day at Junior High School 1 of Yogyakarta. Then, in another day (one week after training process), each science teacher have to demonstrate and present their laboratory work design. Generally, this activity has been succeeded in understanding and devaloping some skills of conducting environment  based science laboratory work. Through this activity, knowledges and experiences of creating and conducting of environment based science laboratory work has been understood by science teachers in Kodya Yogyakarta which are formed in MGMP forum. All participants are active and giving positive responses. Moreover, this activity has been succeeded in developing a design of science laboratory work. About 20 design have been created by all participants
