Abstract

Students require metacognitive skills to reflect on what is being done, what is required in completing assignments, and selecting and implementing learning strategies that promote learning success. The development of metacognitive skills requires creative thinking and a systematic process in learning to solve mathematical problems, which has not been implemented optimally. This study aims to determine students' metacognitive skills through NO3R learning in solving mathematical problems. This study uses sequential exploratory mixed methods. Data was collected through tests, observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were 31 students who were asked to work on geometry problems. The researchers analyzed each student's work based on the NO3R learning stages. Furthermore, to clarify answers and explore students' metacognitive skills, in-depth observations and interviews were performed. The results showed that students' metacognitive skills in solving math problems were on high criteria. NO3R learning is effective for developing students' metacognitive skills. Metacognitive skills can be taught to students to develop their thinking so that their learning outcomes are better.

Abstract

Mathematical ideas are often found in community activities and culture. Researchers have paid much attention to ethnomathematical studies describing mathematical ideas in culture. However, the mapping and construction of Makassar culture-based mathematics teaching materials have not been widely explored. This study aims to map and construct culture-based mathematics teaching materials through ethnomathematical studies. This type of research is a qualitative study with an ethnographic approach. The subject of this research is the Jeneponto community with Makassar ethnic background. The research instrument used observation sheets, interview guides, voice recorders, and field notes. Observation of cultural objects focuses on salting methods, fishing methods, time systems, forms of craft, and the use of horses. The results show that mathematical ideas are used in various activities and cultures of society. Mathematical concepts are connected with various cultural objects: numerical systems, lines and angles, plane figures, spatial figures, statistics, sequences and series, social arithmetic, and algebra. Activity-based task sheets, project assignments, modules, and field observation reports are forms of culture-based teaching materials in harmony with the ethnomathematical model as a learning innovation. The findings in this study propose integrating culture-based teaching materials in the ethnomathematical learning model.

Abstract

In the rapidly digitizing landscape of Islamic banking, innovation is imperative for competitiveness and delivering top-tier services to customers. Electronic Customer Relationship Management (E-CRM) emerges as a key solution, streamlining interactions between banks and customers in the digital realm. This study delves into how E-CRM and Service Quality affect Customer Loyalty within Islamic banks, with a focus on Shariah Compliance as a moderating factor. The aim is to decipher how the Islamic banking sector can cultivate and enhance customer relationships in the digital age. Employing a quantitative approach, the research collects survey data from 212 Islamic bank customers through random sampling. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), executed using IBM AMOS V.22 software, scrutinizes the collected data. Findings indicate a significant, positive contribution of E-CRM to Customer Loyalty. Interestingly, Service Quality doesn't wield a significant influence on Customer Loyalty, suggesting the presence of other influential factors in the Islamic banking arena. Notably, Shariah Compliance emerges as an important moderating element, bolstering the connection between Service Quality and Customer Loyalty, though it doesn't moderate the impact of E-CRM on Customer Loyalty.

Abstract

(5) Bagaimana pembelajaran matematika berbasis filsafat humanisme?
