A prospective chemistry teacher needs to learn about the planning and construction of a chemical laboratory that they can apply when becoming a chemistry teacher at school. This study aims to describe prospective teachers' understanding of discovery learning on the topic of designing and construction of the laboratory. The form of this research is pre-experimental with the design of one shoot case study. Subjects in this study were 21 chemistry education department students of Tanjungpura University conducted. Data collection using measurement techniques with learning outcomes test instruments. Data then were analyzed through steps as follows: 1) data reduction; 2) data presentation; 3) data deduction. The results obtained by understanding the concept of students on the indicators determine and explain the selection of laboratory development positions are in the right criteria. The indicator determines and explains the selection of space for students in the laboratory is in the first category

Students' lack of independent learning results in low learning outcomes. This study is intended to determine the relationship between learning independence and chemistry learning outcomes for students in class X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. The subjects of this study were students in class X MIPA for the 2021/2022 academic year, totalling 130 persons. The research methodology used for this research is described using a correlational approach. The results of the chemistry studies are derived from the results of the final examination for the same semester 2021/2022. The data collection technique used is indirect communication in the form of questionnaires and literature reviews in the form of student learning results in chemistry subjects. The results showed that the average percentage of learning independence was 65% which were included in the medium category, while the average learning outcome was 62 which was included in the low category. The results of the Spearman rank test between learning independence and chemistry learning outcomes obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.079 which means that there is a positive, but very low relationship between learning independence variables and learning outcomes, the significance value obtained is 0.372 0.05, which means that there is no significant relationship significant relationship between independent learning with chemistry learning outcomes

Media pembelajaran adalah alat bantu yang digunakan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu media grafis yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran adalah komik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran komik ikatan ion pada siswa SMA Kelas X IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan melakukan metode survey. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Raya dengan jumlah sampel 30 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket respon yang disebarkan kepada siswa. Pada kriteria respon terdapat 2 aspek yaitu aspek tanggapan dan aspek reaksi. Pada aspek tanggapan terdapat indikator relevansi sedangkan pada aspek reaksi terdapat indikator ketertarikan, kepuasan dan percaya diri. Berdasarkan hasil angket respon siswa menunjukkan respon siswa terhadap media komik ikatan ion ialah sebesar 79,6% atau tergolong kedalam kategori kuat dan layak untuk digunakan. Media pembelajaran komik baik digunakan sebagai alat pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang kemampuan literasi sains mahasiswa pendidikan kimia FKIP UNTAN pada materi protein, di mana proses pembelajarannya dilakukan secara daring akibat adanya pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena kemampuan literasi sains sangat penting di abad 21 ini, sehingga walaupun pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring kemampuan literasi sains mahasiswa tetap harus diperhatikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa pendidikan kimia FKIP UNTAN angkatan 2018 dan 2019 kelas A1. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik pengukuran berupa tes soal berbentuk essay. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan literasi sains mahasiswa pada aspek konten lebih tinggi dari pada aspek kompetensi. This study aims to produce discovery learning-based worksheets on chemical equilibrium material through expert judgment. The method in this study is Research & Development (R&D) with a Four-D development model which is limited to the Develop stage, based on a feasibility test. The subject of this research is student worksheets (LKPD) based on discovery learning on chemical equilibrium material for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Kuala Mandor B. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques and direct communication techniques. The data collection tool is in the form of a LKPD feasibility assessment sheet. The feasibility test was carried out based on the material aspect, namely 92% with a very feasible category, the language aspect was 95.2% with a very feasible category and the design aspect was 95% with a very feasible category. Thus, it can be concluded that the worksheets based on discovery learning on chemical equilibrium materials developed are feasible. for use in learning.

The use of ICT in education in the 21st century has facilitated educators to make changes in learning, so that learning becomes challenging and fun. This study aims to describe the perception of teachers regarding the use of information and communication technology in chemistry learning. For this purpose, a survey was conducted to collect data from 20 techers in Sintang and its surrounding areas. The method used is the descriptive method. The teachers’ persception questionnaire on ICT in chemistry learning was addopted from Teachers’ perception towards ICT in the teaching- learning process: Scale validty and reliability study were translated into Indonesian and modified to suit the conditions of the school. The results showed that the average perception of educators on the use of ICT in chemistry learning was 78,91 with a “Good†category, it is known that the use of ICT in chemistry learning is still not implemented for all educators

Pendidikan abad 21 memerlukan keterampilan dunia nyata yaitu komunikasi, kolaborasi dan berfikir kritis. Model pembelajaran Team Based Learning (TBL) memberikan banyak kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan bekerjasama. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah a) mendeskripsikan penggunaan model pembelajaran TBL untuk meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 bagi mahasiswa calon guru kimia, b) mendiskripsikan prosedur pelaksanaan kegiatan model pembelajaran TBL untuk meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 bagi mahasiswa calon guru kimia. Metode penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian adalah a) implementasi model pembelajaran TBL dapat meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 bagi mahasiswa calon guru kimia dengan cara berkolaborasi, aktif berkomunikasi, berpikir kritis dan kreatif selama proses pembelajaran, b) prosedur pelaksanaan kegiatan model pembelajaran TBL untuk meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 bagi mahasiswa calon guru kimia yaitu pra-kelas, Readiness Assurance Process (RAP), Application of Course Concepts , instructor feedback.

Pendidikan sains memiliki peran yang penting dalam menyiapkan siswa memasuki dunia kehidupannya. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah a) mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa menggunakan metode pembelajaran pendekatan sains teknologi masyarakat (STM) yang berorientasi literasi sains, b) mengembangkan metode pembelajaran pendekatan sains teknologi masyarakat (STM) yang berorientasi literasi sains, c) mendeskripsikan efektifitas pengembangan metode pembelajaran pendekatan sains teknologi masyarakat (STM) yang berorientasi literasi sains. Metode penelitian ini adalah Education Research and Development (R&D) yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan. Penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dikhususnya pada pembelajaran IPA pada pengembangan metode pembelajaran pendekatan sains teknologi masyarakat (STM) yang berorientasi literasi sains. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, model pembelajaran berorientasi literasi sains dinilai layak oleh pakar model pembelajaran karena sesuai dengan memenuhi kriteria model pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran ini praktis berdasarkan nilai kepraktisannya karena terstruktur jelas dan praktisi juga dapat dengan mudah menggunakannya. Model pembelajaran berorientasi literasi sains efektif diterapkan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai kelas ekperimen yang lebih baik dibandingkan nilai kelas kontrol.

The competence of educators in the use of technology in learning today is still not enough to answer the challenges of 21st-century learning. For this reason, it is necessary to assist increased science educators with TPACK-based learning tools. The results of a survey of educators found that educators still hadn't applied technology in their learning so in preparing learning tools they were still not skilled. This activity aims to provide knowledge and skills to educators regarding the preparation of TPACK-based learning tools, describe the understanding of science educators on the role and use of technology, describe the ability of educators to design TPACK-based learning tools, and determine the response of educators to the activities carried out. The socialization and mentoring were using discussion and group work methods. The Activity was attended by 18 science teachers in Sintang Regency. The results of the mentoring show that this assistance is very helpful for educators in understanding TPACK and the knowledge of teachers about TPACK and the preparation of TPACK-based learning tools is increasing.

This study aimed to develop learning media in the form of chemistry learning videos and used as a medium to facilitate the study of chemical bonding material. The method used is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The feasibility of this media is seen from the material, media and language feasibility assessment sheets which are validated by three experts in their respective fields The results of the feasibility test of material, media and language respectively obtained an average percentage of 94%, 92.7% and 96% which shows that this chemistry learning video media is very feasible to use.Keywords: Development; media; chemistry learning videos
