Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan menggunakan dan merangkai alat praktikum melalui self dan peer assessment. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Subyek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester IV reguler B Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia FKIP UNTAN. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa kuesioner self assessment, kuesioner peer assessment dan lembar observasi serta pedoman wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh data keterampilan menggunakan pipet ukur termasuk kategori sangat baik, keterampilan menggunakan corong pisah termasuk kategori sangat baik; keterampilan menggunakan neraca analitik termasuk kategori sangat baik; keterampilan merangkai alat refluks termasuk kategori sangat baik; keterampilan merangkai alat destilasi termasuk kategori baik Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Menggunakan Alat, Keterampilan Merangkai Alat,  Self assessment, Peer Assessment. Abstract. This study aimed to describe the skills to use and assemble practical tool through self and peer assessment. The method used in this research was descriptive method. Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe the student’ understanding of law of Fundamental chemistry concept after learning using tools developed through 5E learning cycle model. Designing of learning tools adopted Dick and Carey model. Learning tools was tested on students PGMIPAU FKIP Untan first half of 2014. This type of study was Research and Development. Instruments in this study were the achievement test, observation sheets of lesson plan implementation and observation sheets of barriers in learning. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The findings of the study were: tools developed had feasible validity, implementation of lesson plan was very good, and students' understanding of law of fundamental chemistry concepts was improved that can be seen from the normalized gain scores. It was concluded that student’ learning outcomes after implementing 5E learning cycle model on the law of fundamental chemistry has increased. Abstract

The purposes of this study are 1) to determine difference of conceptual understanding of SMA 2 Pontianak students before and after being taught through 5E learning cycle model on colloid subject matter, and 2) to describe conceptual understanding of SMAN 2 Pontianak Students before and after being taught through 5E learning cycle model on colloid material. This study was conducted in form of pre experimental design. Independent variables were learning before and after being taught through 5E learning cycle model. Dependent variable was students conceptual understanding. To collect data, assessment technique was applied and achievement test was used to get data. Data were analyzed by means of inferential and descriptive statistic. Result of statistic showed P-value = 0,000 < α = 0.05 which means that there was a difference of students conceptual understanding before and after being taught through 5E learning cycle model on colloid subject matter. Improvement of students conceptual understanding was 0,31 which means on average level. Key words: conceptual understanding, 5E learning cycle model.

Abstract

Abstract The aims of research were to determine the feasibility and readability of SQ3R-based leaflets on hydrocarbon material. This research takes the form of research and development (R&D) which adopts the Borg & Gall development model. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA MA Al-Mustaqim. Data collection techniques using measurement techniques, indirect communication techniques, and direct communication techniques. The assessment instrument was in the form of a feasibility assessment sheet filled out by experts, a student questionnaire response sheet, and an unstructured interview draft. The results of data analysis showed that the SQ3R-based leaflet on hydrocarbon material was very feasible (87%), including of content (92%), presentation (90%), lingustic (79%), and graphic aspect (87%P. Based on students response questionnaire in trial I, the result was 83% and in trial II the result was 81%. This data showed that students' response to the SQ3R-based leaflet on hydrocarbon material is included in the very good category. Keywords: Development, Hydrocarbons, SQ3R-Based Leaflets T

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran siklus belajar 5E dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan  model pembelajaran konvensional serta  untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh model pembelajaran siklus belajar 5E terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi kesetimbangan kelarutan kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan diperoleh 2 kelas sebagai sampel yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan terdiri dari soal pretest dan posttest. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran siklus belajar 5E dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai effect size yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran siklus belajar 5E memberikan pengaruh sebesar 27,34% terhadap hasil belajar siswa.   Kata Kunci: Siklus belajar 5E, hasil belajar   Abstract: The aim of this research are defining the differences in learning outcomes between students who taught using 5E learning cycle model with students who taught using conventional learning models, and defining the influence of 5E learning cycle model on learning outcomes of students in the equilibrium solubility material on class XI SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak. Purposive sampling technique was used to determine samples of the research. Based on the technique there were obtain two classes which are class XI IPA 1 as experiment class and class XI IPA 3 as control class. The research method that used was quasi experimental design along with nonequivalent control group design as framework. Data collection tools that are used consists of pretest and posttest. Data analysis showed that there ware discrepancy in learning outcomes between students who are taught using the 5E learning cycle model with students who are taught using conventional learning models. The values of effect size indicate that 5E learning cycle model by 27,34% effect on learning outcomes.   Keywords: 5E Learning Cycle, outcomes learning

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan antara  keterampilan psikomotor mahasiswa yang mengikuti layanan konsultasi pra-lab dengan mahasiswa yang praktikum tanpa layanan konsultasi pra-lab. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah true experiment design dengan rancangan Postest-Only Control Design. Teknik pemilihan dengan simple random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara sebagai instrumennya dan menggunakan validitas isi sebagai validasinya dengan hasil baik dan layak digunakan. Berdasarkan analisis data dengan menggunakan uji t (α=5%) diperoleh nilai Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,0000, ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan keterampilan psikomotor mahasiswa. Pada kelas eksperimen, mahasiswa yang memiliki keterampilan psikomotor sangat baik (61,1%) dan kategori baik (38,9 %) sedangkan di kelas kontrol kategori baik (20,5%), cukup baik (64,1%), dan kategori kurang baik (15,4%). Layanan konsultasi Pra-lab memberikan pengaruh sebesar 48,93 % terhadap keterampilan psikomotor pada mahasiswa.   Kata kunci :  konsultasi pra-lab, keterampilan psikomotor   Abstract: This research aims to know the difference between  psychomotor skills  of students who joined  pre-consulting services lab and  the students without pre-consulting services lab. The type of this research is the true experiment design with Postest Only Control Design. The selection technique used simple random sampling.This research used observation sheets and guidance interviews as the instrument and used  content’s validity for the validation which the result are good and can be applied. Based on the  data  analysis by using the t-test (α = 5%) obtained the value of Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) of 0,0000. This showed that there  were differences on students’ psychomotor skills. In experiment class,  the students who has psychomotor skills that very good (61,1%) and good (38,9%) while in control class has results, good (20.5%), fair (64,1%), and less (15.4%). Pre-consulting services lab influenced  48,93% through student’s psychomotor skills.   Key words: pre-consulting services lab, psychomotor skills

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan menggunakan instrument berupa lembar observasi siswa. Subjek dalam  penelitian ini sebanyak 28 siswa kelas X Teknik Otomotif Industri (TOI). Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai siswa dalam membuat tabel data dan menggolongkan berturut-turut 91,6% dan 89,3% dengan kategori sangat terampil. Rata-rata nilai siswa dalam membuat variabel dan mengkomunikasikan sebesar 57,1% dan 51,2% dengan kategori terampil. Rata-rata nilai siswa dalam merumuskan masalah, membuat hipotesis, dan menyimpulkan berturut-turut sebesar 41,7%, 33,3%, dan 44,6% dengan kategori kurang terampil. Kata Kunci: Deskripsi, Keterampilan Proses Sains, Larutan Elektrolit dan Nonelektrolit, Laju Reaksi Abstrak: The purpose of this study is to describe the science process skills of students class X SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak. The method of this study was study case using worksheet. The subject were students of class X Teknik Otomotif Industri (TOI) are 28 students. The result of study showed, that students value in making tables and classifying is 91.6% and 89.3% respectively with category very good. Students value in, define variables and communication are 57.1% and 51.2% with category enough. Students value in formulate the problem, hypothesized, and conclude are  41.7%, 33.3%, and 44.6% with less than category. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar dan minat membaca antara siswa yang diajar dengan metode pembelajaran SQ3R dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan  metode pembelajaran konvensional serta untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh penerapan metode pembelajaran SQ3R pada materi koloid kelas XI IPA MAN 1 Pontianak. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan teknik Simple Random sampling, kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu) dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan terdiri dari tes hasil belajar dan angket minat membaca. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dan minat membaca antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode pembelajaran SQ3R dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai effect size menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran SQ3R memberikan pengaruh sebesar 26,12 % terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci :  SQ3R, hasil belajar, minat membaca.   Abstract: The aim of this research are defining the difference in learning outcomes and interest in reading among students who are taught by the teaching methods SQ3R with the students taught using conventional teaching methods as well as to determine the effect of the application of learning methods SQ3R on colloidal material grade XI MAN 1 Pontianak. Samples were selected based simple random sampling techniques, a class XI IPA 3 as an experimental class and class XI IPA 2 as the control class. Forms of research is quasi experiment) with the design is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data collection tool used consisted of test results and questionnaire study reading interests. Results of the data analysis shows that there are differences in learning outcomes and interest in reading among the students taught using instructional methods SQ3R with the students taught using conventional teaching methods. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan berpikir siswa di Indonesia berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan PISA dan TIMSS dan observasi di lapangan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiriberbantuan pictorial riddle dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional pada materi koloid. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Exsperimental Design) denganrancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah “Non Equivalent Group Design. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil tes berpikir kritis  antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan pictorial riddle dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Perhitungan effect size model pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan pictorial riddle memberikan pengaruh sebesar 29,10% terhadap peningkatan hasil berpikir kritis siswa pada materi koloid kelas XI SMAN 1 Sambas. This research head for knowing the difference of student’s critical thinking skill that taught using inquiry learning wit pictorial riddle an using the conventional model toward colloidals materials. The research method that used was quasi experimental with non equivalent group design research’s program. Based on research result showing that there are differences critical thinking test result between the student that taught by inquiry learning with pictorial riddle and the student that taught with the conventional model. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar dan respon siswa terhadap materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan menggunakan model  pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share (TPS). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Design dengan rancangan one group pre-test post-test. Sampel penelitian adalah 32 siswa pada kelas XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan antara hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share (TPS) dimana terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Respon siswa menunjukkan respon positif dengan skor rata-rata 72% dengan interpretasi setuju.   Kata kunci: model kooperatif tipe think-pair-share, hasil belajar, kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan  Abstract: The aims of the research were to determine the differences in learning outcomes and students response against solubility and solubility product with Think-Pair-Share (TPS) of cooperative learning model. The research method used was a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design. The sample was 32 students in grade XI Science SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak. The results showed there was a difference between learning outcomes before and after implementation Think-Pair-Share (TPS) of cooperative learning model in which increase student learning outcomes.Student responses showed a positive response with an average score of 72 % agreed with the interpretation.
