Abstract

Breast cancer is one of the diseases that contribute to the highest mortality rate in Indonesia. The low knowledge of young women about BSE examinations is one thing that affects the high cases of breast cancer. Counseling using video media can be an alternative to increase the knowledge of adolescents about BSE examinations. The purpose of the study was to know the effect of counseling using video media on the level of knowledge related to BSE examinations in adolescent girls at SMK HMPTI Tulang Bawang. This type of quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design uses a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The population is all students of class X SMK HMPTI Tulang Bawang, the sample used is 28 students with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The analysis used is the paired t-test. The results of the analysis obtained knowledge of students before counseling BSE 9.04, after being given counseling 11.14. Then obtained a p-value of 0.001 which means that there is an effect of health education on BSE on increasing students' knowledge. It is hoped that the results of the study can be used as information material to increase knowledge so that young women can carry out BSE examinations correctly. Abstrak: Kanker payudara menjadi salah satu penyakit yang menyumbang angka kematian terbanyak di Indonesia. Rendahnya pengetahuan remaja putri mengenai pemeriksaan SADARI menjadi satu hal yang mempengaruhi tingginya kasus kanker payudara. Penyuluhan menggunakan media video dapat menjadi alternatif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja putri mengenai pemeriksaan SADARI. Tujuan penelitian diketahui pengaruh penyuluhan menggunakan media video terhadap tingkat  pengetahuanterkait pemeriksaan SADARI pada remaja putri di SMK HMPTI Tulang Bawang. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan design quasi eksperimen menggunakan pendekatan one group pretest postest. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswi kelas X SMK HMPTI Tulang Bawang, sampel yang digunakan 28 siswi dengan tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis yang digunakan adalah uji paired t-test. Hasil analisis didapatkan pengetahuan siswi sebelum penyuluhan SADARI 9.04,sesudah diberikan penyuluhan 11.14. Kemudian didapatkan p-value 0,001 yang berarti adanya pengaruh penyuluhan kesehatan tentang SADARI terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan siswi.Diharapkan hasil penelitian dapat digunakan sebagai bahan informasi untuk menambah pengetahuan sehingga remaja putri dapat melakukan pemeriksaan SADARI dengan benar.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is one of the most common diseases today. It will cause several complications, one of which is a diabetic foot wound. The effects of this complication will affect psychological conditions in the form of depression. Depression can be handled using a psychosocial approach, one of which is psychoeducation intervention. The provision of psycho-educational interventions can use a variety of media so that the educational material presented is more attractive and can be received as much as possible. This study aimed to determine if there is an effect of brief psychoeducation using audio-video on depression score in a patient with a diabetic foot ulcer. This research used a quasi-experimental study with a pretest and posttest approach with the control group. The sample consisted of 32 respondents, divided into 2 groups of intervention and control groups. Samples were taken using purposive sampling. The instrument used was the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney tests. The results showed that there was a difference in the average depression score between the control and intervention groups with a p-value less than 0.05. Psychoeducation using audio-video can help reduce depression in diabetic foot ulcer patients.Abstrak: Diabetes melitus merupakan salah satu penyakit yang paling banyak diderita saat ini. Diabetes melitus akan mengakibatkan terjadinya beberapa komplikasi, salah satunya luka kaki diabetik. Efek dari komplikasi ini akan mempengaruhi kondisi psikologis berupa depresi. Depresi dapat ditangani dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikososial, salah satunya intervensi psikoedukasi. Pemberian intervensi psikoedukasi dapat menggunakan berbagai media agar materi edukasi yang disampaikan lebih menarik dan dapat diterima semaksimal mungkin. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan pretest and posttest with control group. Sampel berjumlah 32 responden, dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok intervensi dan kelompok control. Sampel diambil menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner Beck Depression Inventory (BDI). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan Mann Whitney. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaaan rata-rata skor depresi antara kelompok kontrol dan intervensi dengan nilai p kurang dari 0,05. Psikoedukasi menggunakan video audio dapat membantu mengurangi depresi pada pasien diabetic foot ulcer.

Abstract

The National Library of Indonesia has made a revolution in library development, but not all types of libraries in Indonesia have followed suit. Until now, the results of library development both in terms of quality and quantity have not been optimal. This can be seen in the gap between the number of accredited and unaccredited libraries. The purpose of this study was determine the strategy of the National Library of Indonesia in fostering and developing public libraries, special libraries, school libraries and university libraries in Indonesia. This research method uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and literature study. This study examines the strategy of library development in Indonesia is presented in the form of a description or narrative. The development function of the National Library of Indonesia by the work unit of the Public and Special Library Development Center (PPPUK) and the School and College Library Development Center (P3SMPT) with programs are in accordance with their duties and functions as regulators, motivators, and evaluators

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing importance of seeking efforts for environmental safety as the main support for human survival. The aspect of religious thought (fiqh) is one of them. The Banjar people, especially those who live in South Kalimantan, as the land of Mecca's verandas, the land of a thousand mosques, and the city of Islamic students, have undoubtedly given birth to many works of Islamic legal thought. Based on the results of the search, in the books of Banjar Islamic jurisprudence from the XVIII, XIX and XX centuries AD, there are 10 books by Banjar Islamic scholars, of which the 10 (ten) Banjar Islamic jurisprudence books mostly discuss muamalah, worship and law. So the research aims to analyze the development and concepts of environmental jurisprudence in the Islamic jurisprudence works of Banjar ulama in the contemporary era. The method used according to type is library research with a historical, hermeneutical and istinbath approach because the focus of the study in this research is environmental jurisprudence thinking on the jurisprudence of the work of Banjar ulama. The research results show that there are no books by South Kalimantan (Banjar) ulama that discuss environmental jurisprudence. The works of this banjar cleric include the Books of Sabilal Muhtadin, Parukunan Jamaluddin, USSA, Parukunan Melayu Besar, Asrar as-Salat, Risalat Rasam Parukunan, Mabadi Ilmu Fiqh, Risâlah Mu'âmalât, Is'af al-Haidh book, and Tangga Ibadah. From several of these books, it can be seen that the development of the concept of environmental jurisprudence is not yet visible. The jurisprudential aspect of worship dominates the discussion pages. Water issues and agricultural land conservation (environmental aspects) have been discussed in several books, but the descriptions have not shown positive developments.

Abstract

Islam menjadi identitas atau ciri dari masyarakat Banjar yang mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupannya, diantaranya aspek pemeliharaan sungai. Hampir semua wilayah di provinsi Kalimantan Selatan mempunyai sungai dan sebagian masyarakat Banjar bertempat tinggal di bantaran atau tepian sungai. Kondisi sungai yang memprihatinkan di beberapa kawasan seperti sungai-sungai yang terdapat di kota Banjarmasin dan Kabupaten Banjar. Air sungai tidak lagi sehat untuk dikonsumsi karena dipenuhi sampah dan limbah pertambangan, dan umumnya sungai mengalami pendangkalan. Kondisi ini begitu paradoks dengan ajaran Islam yang memerintahkan pemeluknya untuk memelihara kebersihan atau menjaga lingkungan dari segala hal yang dapat membahayakan dirinya dan makhluk hidup lainnya. Melalui pendekatan sosiologis normatif dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara terhadap sejumlah informan yang bermukim di daerah aliran sungai di Kalimantan Selatan diketahui bahwa masyarakat Banjar memegang teguh pemahaman fikih tentang air sungai sebagai alat bersuci. Pemahaman fikih yang menjelaskan bahwa air sungai masih dapat digunakan untuk bersuci selama air sungainya mengalir, banyak airnya, tidak berubah rasa, warna dan baunya. Disamping itu, perubahan perilaku dari membuang sampah ke sungai ke tempat-tempat sampah yang disediakan oleh pemerintah setempat mengindikasikan bahwa masyarakat Banjar memiliki paradigma ekologis yaitu sebuah paradigma yang menjelaskan hubungan harmonis antara manusia dengan alam sekitarnya.

Abstract

Energy is a fundamental factor for civilization development and sustainability. However, energy sources are dominated by non-renewable fractions, such as fossil fuels. Renewable biomass is projected to be a future fuel source. Spirulina platensis (SP) has numerous advantages compared to other biomass, and it is considered 3rd generation biomass that does not interfere with food and land usage and has a relatively low main decomposition temperature at 325.7℃. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) was conducted to observe SP kinetics parameters, especially activation energy. Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose (KAS), Ozawa-Flynn-Wall (OFW), and Starink iso-conversional methods reveal that SP has an activation energy of 152.33, 154.56, and 152.78 kJ/mol, respectively. The coefficient correlation (R2) of OFW is the highest compared to its counterpart at 0.9918. Non-condensable gas (H2, CH4, and CO2) product distribution is characterized using a fixed-bed pyrolysis reactor. The average concentrations of H2, CH4, and CO2 are 3775.2, 83792.19, and 23592.58 ppm, in that order. H2 production is linked with carbohydrates and protein decomposition. CH4 yield heavily depends on protein degradation, followed by carbohydrates and lipids. CO2 yield mainly originated from carbohydrate cracking. The optimum SP pyrolysis temperature is 310—370℃ based on its non-condensable gas yield, TGA result, OFW kinetics method, and thermodynamics parameter, where it has relatively low activation energy (139.29 kJ/mol) accompanied by a significant increase of non-condensable-gas-production.

Abstract

The shell and tube heat exchanger was a tool to exchange the heat energy between fluids with different temperatures that occurred through direct or indirect contact. The energy exchange in fluids could be occurred with the same phase (liquid to liquid or gas to gas) or two fluids with different phase. To date, the process of heat transfer in the industrial field was crucial in machine work. Therefore, there were studies directed to optimize and develop the function and thermal performance of a heat exchanger by adding Baffles to the side of the shell. Vortex flow that occurs with the addition of baffles will make the area of fluid contact in the shell with the tube wall larger, so the heat transfer between the two fluids will increase. This study aimed to obtain the efficiency of the heat exchanger and its effectiveness when put on parallel flow. The heat exchanger had the dimensions of 54.6 x 10-3 m in outer diameter and 22.4 x 10-3 m in inner diameter with a tube thickness of 3 mm. The variations on water flow from both fluids were 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 l/min for hot water and 1, 2, 3, 4 l/min for cold water to obtain the effectiveness of heat exchanger on parallel flow. This research heated the hot fluid in electric heating and used water as the cold fluid. The results showed that heat exchanger with single segmental baffle was more efficient in reducing heat in hot water than heat exchanger without bafe. The flow of fluid affected the average temperature difference; the higher the flow of fluid created a more significant temperature difference. The use of single segmental baffle affected the average temperature difference that was higher than without the baffle. The use of single segmental baffle also influenced the heat transfer greater than without baffle because of the longer distance travelled by the fluid on single segmental baffle with the same flow. Thus, the heat transfer process that occurred was more significant by using a single segmental baffle.

Abstract

Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) is the third generation solar cell that has sandwich structure consisted of organic dye material and other components such as titanium dioxide (TiO2) semiconductor, electrolyte, and substrates (counter electrode and working electrode). The dye in the device was made from green plant chlorophyll such as papaya. This research aimed to find the influence of dye concentration from papaya leaves chlorophyll on the performance of DSCC. The discussion covered the output power (Pout), Fill Factor (FF), and efficiency (ɳ). The method in this research was explorative experimental with independent variables such as direct and indirect sunlight. The dependent variables were output power (Pout), Fill Factor (FF), and efficiency (ɳ) from the DSSC. The procedures in this research consisted of substrates preparation, TiO2 paste production, dye solution preparation, electrolyte preparation, counter electrode preparation, and DSSC assembly. The tests on chlorophyll concentration were conducted using spectrophotometry method while the DSSC performance test used 1,000 W/cm2 halogen lamp. The results showed that 100% chlorophyll concentration resulted in 3.1295 mg/m3 chlorophyll content type a. The best DSSC performance was obtained by the DSSC sample that had 100% chlorophyll concentration and 1.1294 mg/m3 chlorophyll content. The direct light of DSSC achieved Pout of 0.9557 mW, FF of 0.07282, and efficiency of 1.499137%. The DSSC with indirect light obtained Pout of 0.00455 mW, FF of 0.01535, and efficiency of 0.049863%.

Abstract

Microalgae Spirulina sp which has been cultivated by the Brackishwater Aquaculture Development Center, Situbondo Indonesia were tested for their potential energy performance using proximate analyzer, SEM-EDX, and thermogravimetry. The proximate analyzer showed volatile matter (VM), fixed carbon (FC), moisture, ash content (AC), total sulfur of microalgae Spirulina sp 68.15, 12.57, 11.22, 8.06, and 0.67 (wt%, ar), respectively, and the gross calorific value (GCV) is 4971 kcal/kg (dry basis). SEM-EDX test showed the morphology and chemical content of Spirulina sp. The content of microalgae Spirulina sp is dominated by carbon (C) and oxygen (O), then followed by chlorine (Cl), sodium (Na), potassium (K), sulfur (S), magnesium (Mg), and phosphorus (P). Thermogravimetry pyrolysis test of microalgae Spirulina sp resulted thermogravimetry (TG) analysis and derivative thermogravimetry (DTG) analysis curve, which is divided into three different steps. The moisture of microalga Spirulina sp was vaporized at the first step, started at 27°C, and finished at 173°C with a decomposed mass of about 13.81% of the total initial mass. The second step began at the end of vaporize moisture at about 173°C and ended at around 618 °C. The gasification process occurred in volatile matter content and resulted mass loss of about 57.9% of Spirulina sp total mass. The last step showed the process of gasification of residual substances, started at the end of the volatile matter step, 618°C, and stopped at 995°C with a decomposed mass of 24.6% from total mass.

Abstract

Masalah pada struktur atau fungsi jantung yang dikenal sebagai Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) membuat jantung tidak mampu memasok oksigen ke seluruh tubuh. Pasien CHF sering kembali untuk rehospitalisasi karena kekambuhan. Sebagian besar kekambuhan CHF terjadi karena pasien tidak dapat melakukan terapi dengan tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepatuhan minum obat dan kemungkinan pasien CHF untuk dirawat inap kembali di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif cross-sectional dengan desain deskriptif analitik korelasional. Pengumpulan data menggunakan MMAS-8 untuk kepatuhan minum obat dan rekam medis atau kuesioner untuk rehospitalisasi. Populasi semua pasien CHF yang menjalani kontrol di klinik jantung. Pengambilan sampel non-probabilitas (purposive sampling) digunakan untuk mengumpulkan sebanyak 100 responden. Hasil uji Chi-square terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara kepatuhan minum obat dan kemungkinan terjadinya rawat inap ulang (p= 0,00). Diperlukan upaya peningkatan kepatuhan minum obat dalam memberikan tindakan preventif dan promotif mengenai kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien CHF dan adanya penelitian lebih lanjut terkait bagian tambahan yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan pengobatan pada pasien CHF, seperti dukungan keluarga.
