Abstract

Negative stigmatization of nurses is one of the challenges in preventing and controlling Covid-19 in hospitals. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the negative stigma of Covid-19 on the performance of nurses. This research uses a quantitative design method with a correlational analytic approach. Data processing using the data analysis test in this study was carried out using the Spearman Rank correlation test with the help of the SPSS for windows 19.00 program. Based on the results of the Linearity Regression test, the stigmatization variable Covid-19 has no effect on the performance of nurses in East Nusa Tenggara Province and West Nusa Tenggara Province also has an influence on nurse performance. Nurses as part of the disaster management team should not receive negative stigmatization. This of course has an unfavorable impact on the performance of nursing staff.

Methods: This study was conducted with a cross-sectional design with a case-control approach, sampling technique used was proportional random sampling. Data collection was carried out on 38 primigravida pregnant women who visited the public health center with a history of participating in IEC catin program as observation group and 38 respondents from primigravida mothers with a history of not participating in KIE catin program as control group. Then data were analyzed by using chi-square. Results: Results showed that knowledge of sexual and reproductive health in two groups did not have a difference (p = 1,000), as did catin's attitudes towards sexual and reproductive health in two groups (p = 0.487). IEC and sexual health are less effective in increasing knowledge and attitudes. Discussion: The need for more specific program evaluation to increase outcomes by program objectives. Multiple workflows, standard procedures, and program performance should be reviewed by program objectives to increase success. Also, cooperation with several related parties is necessary as an effort to increase public awareness to actively participate in program.

Abstract

Abstract The Tunas Ridho Illahi Livestock Cooperative in East Lombok has high potential for goat milk production, but its utilization is still limited to fresh products, thus not providing optimal added value. The main problems faced by partners are low product diversification, unhygienic packaging design, and weak marketing strategies. The implementation method includes seminars to provide an understanding of the nutritional benefits of goat milk for pregnant women and toddlers, and workshops to train production skills. Evaluation is carried out through observation, discussion, and participant feedback. The results of the activity show an increase in participant knowledge from an average of 4.05 (pre-test) to 9.40 (post-test) or an increase of 5.35 points, and an increase in skills from 23.10 to 72.80 or an increase of 49.70 points; all differences are statistically significant (p = 0.00).
