Abstract

Parents of children with Down syndrome in Riau, Indonesia, encounter distinct psychological challenges, and the influence of demographic factors warrants further exploration. This study investigates the mediating role of demographics in the psychological well-being of 351 parents, employing a cross-sectional, quantitative design with purposive sampling. Standardized scales assessed psychological well-being, self-acceptance, stigma, and social support, which were analyzed using Bayesian methods. Lower self-acceptance significantly and directly correlated with poorer psychological well-being (β = −.1491, p = .0016), while higher parental education significantly predicted greater self-acceptance (β = .0119, p < .001), which in turn positively impacted well-being. Notably, older children were significantly associated with reduced social support (β = −.0101, p = .0010), and lower social support directly linked to reduced psychological well-being (β = −.1526, p = .0015). In theoretical terms, the study contributes by elucidating the indirect pathways through which demographic factors shape parental well-being within the Indonesian context. Practically, the findings underscore the need for culturally sensitive interventions focused on enhancing self-acceptance, providing accessible educational resources, and strengthening adaptive social support networks tailored to the evolving needs of parents of children with Down syndrome in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examined the influence of teachers' perceptions of management, principals' leadership styles, and teachers' work motivation on the implementation of school-based management in Batang Gansal. This study focuses more on teachers' perceptions and provides a more comprehensive perspective. Multiple regression analysis was employed to test the relationship between the variables. The results demonstrate that effective management influences can enhance principals' performance and expedite the implementation of school-based management. This research contributes to a more nuanced understanding of the factors that influence the successful implementation of school-based management. In other words, the findings of this research can be used to enhance the quality of education in Batang Gansal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui implementasi kebijakan Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) oleh Pemkab Berau melalui Dinas Sosial dalam rangka penanganan kemisikinan di Kabupaten Berau yang difokuskan pada studi kasus di Kecamatan Tanjung Redeb. Beberapa temuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : Faktor pendukung kegiatan PKH di Kabupaten Berau yaitu : 1. Komunikasi, Adanya pedoman umum dalam melaksanakan/merealisasikan PKH sehingga pelaksanaannya menjadi terarah; 2. Sumberdaya, Tersedianya tenaga pendamping dan operator pada tingkat kecamatan sehingga dapat menjangkau lebih banyak tempat dan mudah berkoordinasi; 3. Disposisi, Dukungan dari segi anggaran dan fasilitas yang sangat besar dari Pemerintah Daerah sehingga pelaksanaan PKH menjadi maksimal. Ketiga. Faktor penghambat PKH di Kabupaten Berau yaitu : 1. Sumberdaya, Tidak adanya kantor sekretariat Unit Pelaksana PKH di tingkat kecamatan; 2. Disposisi, Tidak adanya pengangkatan PNS bagi tenaga pendamping  PKH; 3. Sumberdaya, Tidak adanya insentif bulanan dikarenakan tenaga pendamping masih berstatus Non ASN. Berdasarkan temuan, maka disarankan : (1) Pembuatan Unit Pelaksanan Teknis (UPT) PKH di tiap Kecamatan; (2) Membuat program kemandirian yang tepat untuk KPM; (3) Perlunya membuat formasi CPNS/PPPK untuk tenaga pendamping sehingga ada keberlanjutan karena kalau dari Non ASN sewaktu-waktu bisa resign/keluar. (4) Perlu adanya insentif bulanan untuk meningkatkan motivasi kerja tenaga pendamping PKH. Kata kunci: Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH), Kemiskinan, Berau

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian terletak pada pendidikan matematika di sekolah dasar yang seringkali terkendala oleh metode pengajaran yang lebih menekankan pada hafalan rumus dan prosedur, tanpa melibatkan siswa dalam proses pemecahan masalah yang menstimulasi berpikir kritis. Hal ini mengakibatkan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, yang sangat penting dalam menghadapi tantangan kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Pendekatan Pendidikann Matematika Realistik (PMR) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD di Kecamatan Cianjur, dengan fokus pada keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling, memilih dua kelas, yaitu kelas VA dan VB di SD Islam Kreatif Muhammadiyah Cianjur. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar matematika dan soal keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji ANOVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan PMR memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika, terutama bila dikaitkan dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Ditemukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan PMR dan metode ekspositori, terutama pada siswa dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis tinggi dan rendah. Siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan PMR menunjukkan hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi, terutama pada kelompok siswa dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis rendah dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran ekspositori. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan PMR terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika, dengan manfaat yang lebih besar ketika diintegrasikan dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan ini dapat direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif yang efektif dalam pembelajaran matematika di tingkat sekolah dasar untuk mendukung peningkatan kemampuan matematis siswa.

Abstract

The growing reliance on e-learning platforms has highlighted the importance of interaction design in shaping student engagement and learning outcomes. Poorly designed digital learning environments often lead to low motivation, decreased participation, and reduced retention rates. Ensuring that interaction design effectively supports student engagement is essential for optimizing online learning experiences. This study aims to examine the impact of interaction design elements, including navigation structure, multimedia integration, and user experience, on student engagement in e-learning environments. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining a usability assessment of e-learning platforms, student engagement surveys, and instructor interviews. Findings indicate that intuitive navigation, interactive multimedia, and real-time feedback mechanisms significantly enhance student participation and learning satisfaction. Statistical analysis revealed a strong correlation between well-designed interaction features and improved student retention rates. The study concludes that incorporating user-centered interaction design principles in e-learning platforms enhances engagement and contributes to more effective learning experiences. Future research should explore adaptive and AI-driven interaction design models to further optimize student-centered digital learning environments.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of student learning outcomes and high critical thinking through the application of project based learning learning models and to determine the effect of student learning outcomes and critical thinking using conventional learning models. The research method is a quasi-experimental and 2x2 factorial design. The research population was 159 students with a research sample of 56 students. The instruments used are questionnaires, observations and tests. Data analysis using T test and Anova test. The results of the first hypothesis data analysis obtained Fcount = 262.36 > Ftable = 4.20, the second hypothesis Fcount = 112.73 > Ftable = 4.20, the third hypothesis Fcount = 10,069 > Ftable = 4.20. The fourth hypothesis is Fcount = 10,069 > Ftable = 4,20, the fifth hypothesis is Fcount = 10,407 > Ftable = 4,20, so it can be concluded that there are differences in student learning outcomes using project based learning and conventional learning models.

Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the effect of multimedia-assisted learning models on mathematics learning outcomes based on learning styles in fifth grade students in Cisoka District. The population is 165 fifth grade students at SDN Jeungjing I, II and III while the research sample is 74 students. Research instruments in the form of questionnaires and tests. The first hypothesis is the value of Fcount = 199.36 and the value of Ftable = 3.97, the second hypothesis is the mean value of the experimental class analytical learning style is 44 with a standard deviation of 1.854, while the global learning style is 11 standard deviations of 2.278, the third hypothesis is the Fcount = 137 .16 and the value of Ftable = 4.13, the fourth hypothesis the value of Fcount = 454.59 and the value of Ftable = 4.13, the fifth hypothesis the value of Fcount = 601.183, the value of Ftable = 3.91. The results of the analysis show the effect of multimedia-assisted learning models on mathematics learning outcomes based on the learning styles of fifth grade students in Cisoka District.

Abstract

The conflict over the establishment of a Christian house of worship in Aceh Singkil Regency began in 1979, namely the plan to build the Indonesian Church of God (GTI) and the issue of spreading Christianity in Aceh Singkil by an Evangelist from the Indonesian Church of God in North Sumatra. This made the Muslim community restless and unacceptable. The Muslim community asked for the establishment of GTI to be canceled, but the restlessness and demands of the Muslim community were not responded to and were not responded to by GTI. The purpose of this study is to identify the beginning of the conflict, solutions to resolve the conflict, and to determine the impact of post-social conflict on interactions between religious communities and social relations in Aceh Singkil Regency (1979-2015). In this study, the researcher used a historical research method, namely collecting sources (heuristics), verification, interpretation and historiography. The results of this study indicate that (1) The social conflict related to the establishment of Christian houses of worship in Aceh Singkil Regency was motivated by the disappointment of Muslims towards Christians who did not obey the regulations of the Aceh Government, the majority of whose population is Muslim, (2) The provisions for the establishment of houses of worship in Aceh, (3) Peace efforts were made through dialogues between Muslim and Christian religious figures and accompanied by the Regional Government, (4) The conflict that occurred in Aceh Singkil Regency was not a conflict in the name of religion, but this conflict was based on the Church construction committee with regulations that had been made by the Aceh Regional Government which had autonomous powers to regulate its own regional affairs in the establishment of Christian houses of worship

Abstract

THE EFFECT OF THE ARIAS LEARNING MODEL ON IPS PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY IN VIEW OF THE SOCIAL SKILLS OF 5TH-GRADE STUDENTS AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN RANCAKALONG DISTRICT, SUMEDANG REGENCYThis experimental research has a 2x2 factorial design. The design of this study aims to examine the effect of applying the ARIAS learning model on social skills and problem-solving abilities in terms of students' social skills. Respondents in this study involved 38 students in class V at Pasirbenteng II Elementary School and 38 students at Citungku Elementary School, which were later divided into a control group and an experimental group. Sampling for the experimental group and the control group was carried out by means of a sampling technique, namely random group sampling (Cluster Random Sampling). Based on the analysis of research data and discussion, it was found that students using the ARIAS learning model were better than the learning outcomes of students treated with conventional learning models on social skills problem-solving abilities in terms of social skills.

Abstract

Angkutan laut merupakan salah satu sarana yang memiliki peran penting dalam sistem transportasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kondisi fisik Kapal Latih Frans Kaisiepo, menganalisis persyaratan dokumen dan sertifikat kapal sebagai kapal perintis, serta menilai kesiapan manajemen operasional Politeknik Pelayaran Sorong. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi langsung di kapal, analisis dokumen dari KSOP Kelas I Sorong, dan data dari Politeknik Pelayaran Sorong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi fisik kapal terjaga baik, namun terdapat kendala pada alat navigasi dan keselamatan yang sudah kadaluwarsa. Dokumen dan sertifikat kapal perlu disesuaikan agar memenuhi standar kapal penumpang. Politeknik Pelayaran Sorong belum memiliki izin operasional sebagai penyelenggara kapal niaga. Kesimpulannya, perlu perbaikan pada alat navigasi dan keselamatan, penyesuaian dokumen, serta pengurusan izin operasional agar Kapal Latih Frans Kaisiepo dapat berfungsi efektif sebagai kapal perintis sesuai program tol laut.
