Abstract

This research is a quantitative study that aims to determine the effect of teacher digital literacy on the utilization of online learning media and the competence of elementary school teachers in Bongan District, West Kutai Regency. Sampling using random sampling technique. Data collection was done with a closed question questionnaire with a Likert scale. The collected data were analyzed by multiple linear regression. The study found that partially there is no significant effect of digital literacy on teacher competence and produced a regression equation Y = 109.989 + 0.209X1 + 0.05.. Meanwhile, the utilization of online learning media has a significant effect on teacher competence and produces a regression equation Y = 95.005 + 0.281X2 + 0.05. Multiple regression analysis found that digital literacy and utilization of online learning media simultaneously have a significant effect on teacher competence. the test results of the coefficient of determination (R Square) produced an R square number (0.218) has a meaning equal to 21.8%. This figure means that the variance of the teacher competency variable (Y) contributed a value of 21.8%. Then the remaining 78.2% (100% - 21.8% = 78.2%) is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di kantor PKK RW 03 Tanah Abang dengan judul “Penyuluhan Pemanfaatan Digital Marketing Bagi Pengusaha Konveksi di Pasar Tanah Abang, Jakarta Selatan”. Sebanyak 24 mitra usaha konveksi turut serta dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta tentang pentingnya pemasaran produk smartphone melalui media online. Masalah bagi afiliasi adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang pemasaran digital atau pemasaran internet. Sesi obrolan akan memberikan mitra bisnis aplikasi yang diperlukan untuk memasarkan produk digital dan pelatihan tentang penggunaan alat dan aplikasi media sosial sehingga pebisnis dapat membuat atau menggunakan salah satu aplikasi web digital atau beberapa situs penjualan online dengan biaya rendah, pengeluaran Di penghujung bakti sosial, masih ada peserta yang meminta waktu untuk kegiatan serupa di hari-hari berikutnya dan ingin mengajak teman-temannya yang tidak sempat mengikuti kegiatan tersebut untuk mendapatkan pengalaman yang sama.

Abstract

This community service project aims to improve the quality of history education at SMA Negeri 1 Rengat Barat through the training development and implementation of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) questions based on historical thinking skills for teacher. The initiative was driven by the low ability of students to think critically and analyze historical events in depth. The method used involved intensive training and mentoring for history teachers over three days, including HOTS theory workshops, question development sessions, and classroom implementation simulations. Evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests for students, as well as classroom observation of teacher practices. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ ability to answer HOTS questions, alongside increased teacher enthusiasm in applying historically grounded teaching approaches. The implication of this program highlights that structured and practical training can empower teachers to create meaningful and intellectually stimulating history instruction. This model is expected to be replicable in other schools as a strategic effort to better prepare students for the complexities of the 21st century.

Abstract

Scholars consider Peyek, a typical Javanese light meal, to have deep cultural and religious significance. People believe Peyek represents thankfulness, prosperity, and past benefits, connecting it to Wali Songo’s efforts to spread Islam across Java. This research study investigates the role of peyek in cultural immersion and Islamic da'wah in Yogyakarta. Qualitative research approaches were used to learn about the cultural relevance and Islamic symbolism linked to peyek in Yogyakarta. The Mataram Sultanate region, encompassing the districts of Kota Gede, Tugu Yogyakarta, Malioboro, Kraton Yogyakarta, and Krapyak Stage, was the major focus of the study, which was supplemented with insights from notable peyek markets such as Gamping, Ngasem, and Kranggan. The major research technique used was direct observation, and the study found that peyek is important in solidifying both the cultural heritage and religious beliefs in Yogyakarta. It appears to serve as a conduit for the development of belief and the promotion of local cultural identity through Islamic da'wah efforts, including local cultural components with Islamic preaching to strengthen Yogyakarta's cultural identity and promote religious harmony.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran yang efektif, terutama bagi siswa dengan berbagai tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, serta untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, yang melibatkan dua kelompok siswa kelas V SD, yaitu kelompok yang diterapkan model PBL dan kelompok yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar matematika dan analisis statistik menggunakan ANOVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PBL memberikan hasil belajar yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, baik untuk siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi maupun rendah. Siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi yang menggunakan PBL menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan model konvensional. Begitu pula dengan siswa berpikir kritis rendah, meskipun tantangan mereka lebih besar, model PBL tetap memberikan hasil belajar yang lebih baik daripada model konvensional. Namun, tidak ditemukan interaksi signifikan antara model PBL dan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap hasil belajar matematika, yang menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh keduanya bersifat independen. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PBL efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa, terlepas dari tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis mereka, dan memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inklusif dan adaptif.

Abstract

The practice of Thudong, a form of spiritual journey undertaken by Buddhist monks, has gained popularity in Indonesia in recent years. This study aimed to explore the extent to which Thudong practitioners actualize Pancasila values, which are the foundational principles of the Indonesian state, through their religious rituals. This qualitative research employed a case study design, with six Thudong practitioners selected as the subjects of the study. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and participant observation of the practitioners’ religious rituals. The data was analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings of the study revealed that Thudong practitioners in Indonesia actively engage in religious rituals that reflect the Pancasila values. The practitioners’ dedication to their spiritual journey was characterized by a deep sense of respect for their fellow human beings and the environment. They demonstrated a strong commitment to social justice, equality, and tolerance towards different religious and cultural practices. The study also found that Thudong practitioners in Indonesia have a unique approach to their spiritual journey, which combines Buddhist teachings with local cultural practices. This fusion of traditions allows for a richer and more diverse religious experience, enabling practitioners to better actualize Pancasila values. In conclusion, this study provides evidence that Thudong practice in Indonesia serves as a means of actualizing Pancasila values through religious rituals. The findings suggest that Thudong practice has the potential to contribute positively to the development of a more just and tolerant society in Indonesia

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi pemanfaatan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) dalam pelestarian dan edukasi sejarah lokal di Kampung Bandar, Pekanbaru. Kampung Bandar menyimpan berbagai bangunan bersejarah seperti Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi, Istana Hinggap, dan Rumah Tenun yang memiliki nilai penting sebagai sumber sejarah dan identitas budaya. Pembelajaran sejarah lokal seringkali dianggap membosankan dan kurang interaktif, serta menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan sumber dan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi AR. Data dianalisis secara sistematis untuk menggambarkan keterkaitan antara teknologi AR dan nilai historis lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi AR dapat menghadirkan kembali bangunan bersejarah seperti Istana Hinggap, Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi, dan Rumah Tenun secara virtual dengan detail yang memudahkan pemahaman peserta didik, mengatasi kendala sifat statis dan abstrak materi sejarah dengan menghadirkan media belajar yang lebih interaktif dan kontekstual, sehingga meningkatkan daya tarik dan motivasi belajar peserta didik, serta memfasilitasi gaya belajar visual, audio, dan kinestetik. Dengan demikian, pengembangan dan penerapan teknologi AR di Kampung Bandar merupakan langkah strategis untuk pelestarian warisan budaya, penguatan identitas lokal serta peningkatan kualitas pendidikan sejarah lokal yang lebih bermakna dan relevan.

Abstract

Development is basically from and for all people, it must involve and be recognized at all levels ofsociety in order to achieve the intended development goals. The usage of the Rupat Island center asa historical tour in Bengkalis regency is an example of eco-education, in which cultural heritage itempreservation is linked to educational renewal. This is a qualitative research project that usesparticipant observation and in-depth interviews. The findings suggest that regional growth on RupatIsland can be accomplished by leveraging a variety of factors, including districts, suburbs, landmarks,nodes, and paths that require government authorization in the Malacca area. If access to touristlocations is made easier, the development of Rupat Island as a cultural tourism destination has a lotof potential and appeal for regional cultural tourism destinations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi Virtual Reality (VR) dalam mengenalkan sejarah dan arsitektur Makam Marhum Pekan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu studi literatur. Di era digital, teknologi Virtual Reality menjadi salah satu media inovatif yang dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar imersif kepada siswa. Melalui kunjungan virtual, siswa dapat melihat langsung tampilan visual situs sejarah tanpa harus berada di lokasi, sehingga meningkatkan pemahaman mereka terhadap sejarah lokal. Makam Marhum Pekan sebagai objek kajian merupakan situs sejarah penting yang memiliki nilai budaya dan arsitektur tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penggunaan Virtual Reality dalam pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah serta untuk mengatasi keterbatasan akses terhadap situs sejarah secara langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Virtual Reality dapat menjadi solusi efektif dan efisien dalam memperkenalkan warisan budaya kepada generasi muda melalui pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

The phenomenon of suicide in the context of the Pulung Gantung myth has become a serious concern. However, research that specifically examines the relationship between religious well-being and suicidal ideation in the context of Javanese culture, particularly in areas with a high prevalence of suicide, such as Gunungkidul, is still minimal. The present study aims to identify the role of the Pulung Gantung myth in mediating the relationship between religious well-being and suicidal ideation. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed to explore the unique experiences of Javanese people in Gunungkidul. Snowball sampling was used to identify key informants who met specific criteria, and semi-structured interviews were conducted to collect data on religious well-being and suicidal ideation. To ensure the accuracy and avoid any offence, all collected data underwent a meticulous verbatim analysis. The Pulung Gantung myth exerts a substantial influence on the incidence of suicidal ideation within the Javanese community of Gunungkidul. This myth has the capacity to intensify feelings of despair, thereby expediting the process of arriving at the decision to take one's own life. The development of programs that promote community participation in religious activities. The implications of this study suggest a necessity to reinterpret the meaning of the Pulung Gantung myth so that it is no longer directly associated with suicide.
