Abstract

This study aims to identify the vulnerability of small-scale fishermen in the Roban Coastal Area through fast variables and slow variables, identify the adaptive capacity of fishermen to social-ecological changes, and analyze the resilience strategy of fishermen in facing rapid social-ecological changes due to national strategy projects. The method used was a mixed method with descriptive statistical analysis and 100 small-scale fishermen were taken as samples through purposive sampling. The results obtained show that the level of vulnerability of small-scale fishermen is in the high vulnerability category with a score of 7.89, the most vulnerable indicator is dependence on nature. The Roban Coastal small-scale fishermen resilience strategy is carried out through interdependence between stakeholders (academics, business people, government, and community) by obtaining the results that need to pay attention to several aspects (social, environmental, economic) in facing changes so that fishermen have a resilient level of resilience.

Abstract

This study explores how risk relates to return in the context of LQ45 index stocks for the period 2020–2024, using the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) as the main analytical tool. CAPM helps estimate a stock's expected return by factoring in its systematic risk, represented by beta. The research applies a quantitative descriptive approach, with 24 selected companies meeting specific criteria. The analysis confirms a clear positive relationship between beta and expected return—stocks with higher risk tend to offer higher potential returns. To provide deeper insight, the study also compares actual stock returns to their expected returns based on CAPM, allowing for classification into undervalued and overvalued categories. The findings indicate that six stocks are undervalued, offering potential opportunities for investors, while the remaining eighteen are overvalued. These results highlight how CAPM can be used not only to understand risk-return dynamics but also to support more informed and strategic investment decisions in the capital market.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify the long-term and short-term relationships between electricity consumption and employment, human welfare, and information and communication technology. The study uses panel data from ASEAN countries, covering 2015 to 2022. The sample consists of 8 countries with complete data for each variable within the specified period. Based on the results of testing using the Vector Error Correction Model, in the long term, electricity consumption has a significant positive relationship with employment and human welfare, which is proxied by the Human Development Index and Happiness Index. On the other hand, the relationship between electricity consumption and information and communication technology (ICT), proxied by the number of mobile cellular subscriptions, shows a significant negative result. In the short term, electricity consumption does not affect employment, human welfare, or information and communication technology. These results indicate that electricity consumption does not directly impact the improvement of human welfare but influences income levels directly through increased production processes and consumption of goods and services.

Abstract

This study refers publication trends related to culture, tourism, and economy to construct the basis for further research. The analysis employed a literature review by utilizing VosViewer software. Articles were sourced from Scopus with the criteria: published between 2020–2025, in English, and including the keywords culture, tourism, and economy. Articles with the highest number of citations relevant to the requirements were discussed further.  The results of document searches in Scopus showed that there were 674 documents with the keywords culture, tourism and economy. Most publications originated from East Asia and North America. The development ofpublicity related to culture, tourism and economy will generally include local wisdom as a tourist attraction. These findings reveal the increasing scholarly attention on the interplay between culture, tourism, and economy, particularly concentrated in East Asia and the USA, highlighting significant opportunities for sustainable cultural tourism development, especially in under-researched regions such as Indonesia. Most publicity mentions that over time there has been a shift in culture, the majority of which leads to negativity. This result then becomes an important topic related to the sustainability of culture in the economy, especially when the culture becomes atourist attraction.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze estimated carbon footprint emissions based on daily electricity consumption, as well as provide strategies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The method applies a quantitative approach using descriptive statistics. Data collection was obtained through purposive sampling of economics students at Diponegoro University, with a total sample of 61 students. The CO₂ emissions calculates by multiplying electricity use with the ESDM emission factor based on the 2006 IPCC Guidelines. The result shows that the estimated carbon footprint per category, which presents a comparison of the consumption of electronic goods among upper middle class and lower middle-class students, there are 3 categories: low, medium and high where cross tabulation obtained results in the low category of 93 percent out of a total of 100 percent. Therefore, the students who consume electricity resulting in carbon emissions at Diponegoro University are relatively low, reaching 93 percent and the highest consumption reaches 4.92 percent, which is still below 5 percent of the carbon consumption standard, which is a good achievement in helping to maintain the sustainability of the university's environment.

Abstract

Indonesia is the largest exporter of palm oil in the world. The growth of production and exports and the decreasing of import Indonesia palm oil should also increases the competitiveness of Indonesia palm oil in the International market. Therefore, We need to know the competitiveness of palm oil in Indonesia by calculate the value of export, production, and import through descriptive method model analysis using Import Dependency Ratio (IDR), Self Sufficiency Ratio (SSR), and Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) as the analysis tools. The data we used in this research is secondary data from Central Bureau of Statistic and UN Comtrade year 1990 until 2022.
