Abstract

This community engagement project aims to strengthening of psychological capital in supporting the psychosocial readiness of former Shia residents of Jemundo prior to their return to Sampang Regency in a post-religious conflict context. Psychological capital—comprising hope, optimism, self-efficacy, and resilience—is understood as an integrated construct that plays a crucial role in enabling individuals to navigate social transitions characterized by uncertainty. The program was implemented through a participatory approach that positioned community members as active subjects in the psychosocial accompaniment process. The findings indicate that the four dimensions of psychological capital mutually reinforce one another and contribute to participants’ capacity to reconstruct the meaning of return in a more adaptive manner. Nevertheless, the development of psychological capital cannot be detached from the structural conditions shaping post-conflict experiences, including state policies and local social relations. Therefore, strengthening psychological capital should be framed as complementary to, rather than a substitute for, the state’s responsibility to ensure the fulfillment of citizens’ basic rights. This study recommends the integration of psychosocial interventions and responsive structural policies to support sustainable social reintegration.

Abstract

In the initial stages of the Covid-19 pandemic's entry into Indonesia in March 2020, the Indonesian government introduced a mandate for companies to adopt a Work From Home (WFH) arrangement. The objective of this directive was to curtail in-person interactions among individuals, which had the potential to propagate the Covid-19 virus. Consequently, all enterprises, including PT. Mitra Prestasi Perdana, enforced a comprehensive Work From Home policy for their entire workforce.Over the course of the three-month period in which the Work From Home policy was in effect, there were instances of decreased work productivity among some employees. This decline in productivity stemmed from multiple factors such as inadequate communication among colleagues and a sense of monotony at work due to the absence of face-to-face engagement with co-workers in the context of full remote work. In response, PT. Mitra Prestasi Perdana devised a modified approach consisting of three days of remote work and two days of in-office work per week. Additionally, they implemented an orchestrated communication strategy with the goal of revitalizing employee work productivity. This research is characterized as a qualitative descriptive study employing the case study research methodology. The investigation delved into how communication planning was executed at PT. Mitra Prestasi Perdana, using Charles Berger's planning theory as a framework. The findings of this study underscore that PT. Mitra Prestasi Perdana's organizational communication strategy effectively revitalized employee work productivity, which had experienced a decline during the three-month period of exclusive remote work. The company's weekly meetings orchestrated by management fostered direct interactions between leaders and employees, thereby facilitating effective communication. Furthermore, the leaders' approach of cultivating a friendly rapport with employees, coupled with provisions such as meals and recreational amenities, contributed to fostering a comfortable work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) learning model through the Wordwall platform in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning at SMP Negeri 35 Surabaya. The background of this study stems from the low level of student engagement in IRE learning due to the dominance of conventional methods and the suboptimal integration of technology in the learning process. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with the research subjects consisting of PAI teachers and seventh-grade students. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and field notes, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results show that the application of the TPACK model through Wordwall successfully increased student engagement and motivation to learn. Careful planning, the use of Wordwall's interactive features (such as quizzes, matching games, and random wheels), and collaborative pedagogical strategies created an active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning atmosphere. Despite challenges such as time constraints, digital infrastructure, and variations in students' technological literacy, teachers were able to overcome them through adaptive strategies such as hybrid learning, group role rotation, and collaborative reflection. This study confirms that integrating the TPACK model through Wordwall can be an innovative strategy for transforming PAI learning into interactive, contextual learning that is in line with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum.
