Abstract

Student data management in Indonesian higher education institutions continues to face challenges such as data duplication, academic record manipulation, limited transparency, and weak interoperability caused by centralized databases. These issues hinder institutional credibility, administrative efficiency, and trusted academic governance. This study aims to conceptually develop a blockchain based framework to enhance data integrity, transparency, and efficiency in student data management. Using a qualitative descriptive and comparative approach, the research analyzes existing blockchain models and integrates technological and managerial perspectives to design a permissioned blockchain system supported by smart contracts. The proposed framework focuses on automating academic data validation, strengthening access control, and enabling secure inter-institutional data exchange. Comparative findings indicate that blockchain offers immutability, traceability, and accountability, positioning it as a transformative innovation for academic governance. The study provides a conceptual foundation for universities and policymakers to adopt secure and interoperable blockchain-based academic data systems aligned with Indonesia digital transformation agenda in higher education. Future research is recommended to simulate or pilot the model for practical evaluation and implementation.

Abstract

Objective: The global environmental crisis has heightened public awareness of the impact of consumption on environmental sustainability. However, a persistent gap remains between environmental awareness and actual consumer behavior in choosing eco-friendly products. In this context, companies are challenged to design effective green marketing strategies that not only attract attention but also strengthen awareness and translate it into purchasing decisions. This study aims to examine the influence of green advertising, green perceived value, and price perception on green product purchasing decisions, with environmental awareness positioned as a mediating variable.Methodology: This study employed a quantitative associative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of consumers in West Java Province who had purchased environmentally labeled products within the past year. A purposive sampling technique was applied, resulting in 200 valid respondents. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS 4 software.Findings: The results indicate that green advertising, green perceived value, and price perception each have a positive and significant effect on environmental awareness. Furthermore, environmental awareness significantly influences purchasing decisions for eco-friendly products. Mediation analysis confirms that environmental awareness serves as a psychological mechanism linking green marketing variables to purchasing decisions. Conclusion: These findings highlight the central role of environmental awareness in translating green marketing strategies into sustainable purchasing behavior. The study underscores the importance of credible green communication, clear articulation of ecological value, and fair pricing strategies in fostering long-term sustainable consumption.

Abstract

AbstractExpansive clay soils possess high shrink-swell potential, which often leads to structural failures when used as subgrade material. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a combination of lime (KP) and fly ash treatment (FA) in improving the mechanical and physical properties of expansive clay soil obtained from Quarry Cot Kayee Adang, Lhokseumawe City. The research methods included soil classification (AASHTO), physical properties tests, consolidation, compaction (standard Proctor), Atterberg limits, and direct shear tests with additive variations of 0%, 5%, 9%, and 12% lime, along with 5% fly ash. The results showed that the original soil was classified as A-7-6 (36) according to the AASHTO system, with a plasticity index (PI) of 33.80% and a maximum dry density (γdmax) of 1.28 gr/cm³. Adding 9% lime increased the γdmax to 1.32 gr/cm³, and when combined with 5% fly ash, reduced the PI to 22.06%. The direct shear test indicated an increase in cohesion from 0.571 kg/cm² to 0.748 kg/cm² and internal friction angle from 10.7° to 18.1°, resulting in an increase in shear strength (τ) from 7.439 kg/cm² to 12.365 kg/cm². Stabilization using a combination of 9% lime and 5% fly ash proved to be the most effective in enhancing compaction, shear strength, and volumetric stability. These findings recommend the use of this mixture as an efficient alternative for improving expansive clay soil in civil infrastructure construction. Keywords:Expansive clay; fly ash; lime; shear strength; soil stabilization AbstrakTanah lempung ekspansif memiliki potensi kembang susut tinggi yang menyebabkan kerusakan pada konstruksi, terutama jika digunakan sebagai tanah dasar. Keywords:Fly ash; kapur; kuat geser; stabilisasi tanah; tanah lempung ekspansif

Abstract

This study aims to examine the practice of AI integration in PAI learning and analyze its influence on digital literacy and the formation of students' spiritual character. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation analysis of teachers, students, and madrasas. The results show that the use of AI has a positive impact on improving students' digital literacy, especially in the ability to access, understand, and utilize technology critically, ethically, and responsibly. AI-based learning media also increases motivation and learning participation through the presentation of adaptive and interactive materials. However, ethical and spiritual problems were found, such as a decline in the emotional closeness of student teachers and the potential for weakening of manners and religious awareness. Therefore, an integrative approach is needed that combines intelligent technology with the internalization of moral values so that AI functions as a support for character formation in Islamic education. This research contributes to the development of an AI-based PAI learning model that emphasizes digitalization as well as transcendental values.
