Abstract

Digitalisation in the public sector has led to higher demands for transparency, accountability, and accurate reporting. However, many organisations still face obstacles such as unsynchronised data, slow reporting processes, and performance evaluations that are not fully evidence-based. These conditions indicate that the effectiveness of information systems is urgently needed to strengthen organisational governance and performance. This study aims to analyse the influence of Information System Effectiveness on Financial Governance and Performance Evaluation in Regional Apparatus Organisations (OPD) within local government. The study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The research population consists of OPD employees involved in the use of information systems, financial management, and/or performance evaluation. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 120 respondents. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires in the period November–December 2025. Data analysis used PLS-SEM with the help of SmartPLS through measurement model and structural model evaluation. The results showed that information system effectiveness had a positive effect on strengthening financial governance and improving performance evaluation. These findings confirm that an effective information system not only serves an administrative function but also becomes a strategic factor in ensuring more transparent financial management and more objective performance assessment. The implications of this study encourage OPDs to prioritise improving system quality, data integration, and information utilisation as a basis for performance control and evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial inclusion on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), with financial literacy acting as a mediating variable. MSMEs play a vital role in economic growth; however, many business owners face challenges related to limited access to financial services and inadequate financial knowledge. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected from MSME owners through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that financial inclusion has a positive and significant effect on MSME performance, demonstrating that access to banking services, credit facilities, and digital financial platforms supports business growth and operational efficiency. Financial inclusion also significantly influences financial literacy, suggesting that greater exposure to financial services enhances business owners’ financial knowledge and skills. Furthermore, financial literacy has a significant positive effect on MSME performance and is proven to mediate the relationship between financial inclusion and performance. These findings imply that financial inclusion alone is insufficient without adequate financial literacy to ensure effective utilization of financial resources. Therefore, improving financial education alongside expanding access to financial services is essential to strengthen MSME sustainability and competitiveness. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers and financial institutions in developing strategies to enhance MSME performance through inclusive and educational financial systems.

Abstract

Objective: The global environmental crisis has heightened public awareness of the impact of consumption on environmental sustainability. However, a persistent gap remains between environmental awareness and actual consumer behavior in choosing eco-friendly products. In this context, companies are challenged to design effective green marketing strategies that not only attract attention but also strengthen awareness and translate it into purchasing decisions. This study aims to examine the influence of green advertising, green perceived value, and price perception on green product purchasing decisions, with environmental awareness positioned as a mediating variable.Methodology: This study employed a quantitative associative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of consumers in West Java Province who had purchased environmentally labeled products within the past year. A purposive sampling technique was applied, resulting in 200 valid respondents. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS 4 software.Findings: The results indicate that green advertising, green perceived value, and price perception each have a positive and significant effect on environmental awareness. Furthermore, environmental awareness significantly influences purchasing decisions for eco-friendly products. Mediation analysis confirms that environmental awareness serves as a psychological mechanism linking green marketing variables to purchasing decisions. Conclusion: These findings highlight the central role of environmental awareness in translating green marketing strategies into sustainable purchasing behavior. The study underscores the importance of credible green communication, clear articulation of ecological value, and fair pricing strategies in fostering long-term sustainable consumption.

Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology has changed the way people communicate and receive information, making the spread of hoaxes easier. Low awareness of fact-checking, particularly among individuals with high levels of social media use, poses a challenge to digital media literacy. This condition is also found among members of the Roemah Tawon Foundation, who have a limited understanding of media literacy in the digital era. This community service activity aims to enhance media literacy by improving participants' ability to distinguish between hoax and valid information. The activity was implemented through socialization or counseling using an interactive lecture approach. The target participants were housewives and elementary and secondary school students who are members of the Roemah Tawon Foundation in Tangerang city. The results indicate an increase in participants’ understanding of how to differentiate between hoax and valid information, as demonstrated by their ability to answer questions and actively engage in discussions. This improvement is expected to foster greater awareness in applying the 3C principle (check, compare, and confirm) before sharing information.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the practice of AI integration in PAI learning and analyze its influence on digital literacy and the formation of students' spiritual character. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation analysis of teachers, students, and madrasas. The results show that the use of AI has a positive impact on improving students' digital literacy, especially in the ability to access, understand, and utilize technology critically, ethically, and responsibly. AI-based learning media also increases motivation and learning participation through the presentation of adaptive and interactive materials. However, ethical and spiritual problems were found, such as a decline in the emotional closeness of student teachers and the potential for weakening of manners and religious awareness. Therefore, an integrative approach is needed that combines intelligent technology with the internalization of moral values so that AI functions as a support for character formation in Islamic education. This research contributes to the development of an AI-based PAI learning model that emphasizes digitalization as well as transcendental values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) learning model through the Wordwall platform in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning at SMP Negeri 35 Surabaya. The background of this study stems from the low level of student engagement in IRE learning due to the dominance of conventional methods and the suboptimal integration of technology in the learning process. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with the research subjects consisting of PAI teachers and seventh-grade students. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and field notes, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results show that the application of the TPACK model through Wordwall successfully increased student engagement and motivation to learn. Careful planning, the use of Wordwall's interactive features (such as quizzes, matching games, and random wheels), and collaborative pedagogical strategies created an active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning atmosphere. Despite challenges such as time constraints, digital infrastructure, and variations in students' technological literacy, teachers were able to overcome them through adaptive strategies such as hybrid learning, group role rotation, and collaborative reflection. This study confirms that integrating the TPACK model through Wordwall can be an innovative strategy for transforming PAI learning into interactive, contextual learning that is in line with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This community engagement project aims to strengthening of psychological capital in supporting the psychosocial readiness of former Shia residents of Jemundo prior to their return to Sampang Regency in a post-religious conflict context. Psychological capital—comprising hope, optimism, self-efficacy, and resilience—is understood as an integrated construct that plays a crucial role in enabling individuals to navigate social transitions characterized by uncertainty. The program was implemented through a participatory approach that positioned community members as active subjects in the psychosocial accompaniment process. The findings indicate that the four dimensions of psychological capital mutually reinforce one another and contribute to participants’ capacity to reconstruct the meaning of return in a more adaptive manner. Nevertheless, the development of psychological capital cannot be detached from the structural conditions shaping post-conflict experiences, including state policies and local social relations. Therefore, strengthening psychological capital should be framed as complementary to, rather than a substitute for, the state’s responsibility to ensure the fulfillment of citizens’ basic rights. This study recommends the integration of psychosocial interventions and responsive structural policies to support sustainable social reintegration.

Abstract

This community service program is motivated by the increasing vulnerability of urban Muslim communities to religious radicalism, particularly influenced by digital media that promotes exclusive and intolerant narratives. Therefore, a participatory and community-based intervention is urgently needed. This program employs a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, involving the community actively through stages of problem identification, planning, action, observation, reflection, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and pretest–posttest instruments, and analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results demonstrate measurable improvements in participants’ understanding, attitudes, and behaviors regarding radicalism. Quantitatively, rejection of radical ideas increased from 67.7% in the pretest to 93.25% in the posttest in the cognitive domain. Similarly, anti-radical attitudes increased significantly to 97.5%, while the tendency toward radical thinking decreased from a score of 32.2 to 6.7. The impact of this program is reflected in enhanced religious moderation literacy, increased openness to dialogue, and improved community readiness to develop environment-based preventive strategies. Furthermore, the program strengthens social resilience and collective awareness, positioning community-based participatory education as an effective and sustainable model for mitigating religious radicalism in urban settings.
