Abstract

This research aims to reveal the contributions of the Mu'tazilah school of thought to the development of Arabic literature during the Abbasid dynasty. This study is important to ensure that today's generation of Muslims does not deny the achievements of Mu'tazilah writers of the Abbasid era due to theological differences. The main issue addressed in this research is the various forms of Mu'tazilah's contributions to the development of Arabic literature during the Abbasid dynasty. The reason for focusing on the Abbasid period is that during this time, the Mu'tazilah held a special place in the royal court, with Caliph al-Ma'mun even making Mu'tazilah the official ideology of the kingdom. This research is qualitative in nature, with data collected through library research. The theoretical framework employed is historical criticism theory, as the study's object involves historical facts of the Islamic golden age. The researcher concludes that the Mu'tazilah made significant contributions to the development of Arabic literature. These contributions are evident in the emergence of prominent literary figures and critics such as al-Jahiz, Abu Hayyan al-Tawhidi, and al-Qadi al-Jurjani. Moreover, they also contributed to the creation of new literary genres, including al-Munadharah, al-Jadal, al-Mawa'id, and al-Adab al-Dini. In light of these contributions, it is hoped that Muslim scholars in the field of Arabic language and literature will acknowledge these historical achievements. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن إسهامات مذهب المعتزلة في تطور الأدب العربي خلال فترة الخلافة العباسية. تعتبر هذه الدراسة مهمة حتى لا تنكر الأجيال المسلمة اليوم الإنجازات التي حققها أدباء المعتزلة في العصر العباسي بسبب الاختلافات المذهبية اللاهوتية. تتمثل المشكلة الرئيسية في هذه الدراسة في أشكال إسهامات المعتزلة المختلفة في تطور الأدب العربي خلال فترة الخلافة العباسية. والسبب في التركيز على هذه الفترة هو أن المعتزلة كانوا يحظون بمكانة خاصة في البلاط الملكي خلال هذه الفترة، حيث جعل الخليفة المأمون مذهب المعتزلة أيديولوجية رسمية للمملكة. هذه الدراسة نوعية، وتم جمع البيانات من خلال البحث المكتبي. الإطار النظري المستخدم هو نظرية النقد التاريخي، لأن موضوع الدراسة يشمل الحقائق التاريخية للعصر الذهبي الإسلامي. وخلص الباحث إلى أن المعتزلة قدموا إسهامات كبيرة في تطور الأدب العربي. تتجلى هذه الإسهامات في ظهور شخصيات أدبية ونقاد بارزين مثل الجاحظ وأبو حيان التوحيدي والقاضي الجرجاني. علاوة على ذلك، أسهموا أيضًا في إنشاء أنواع أدبية جديدة، مثل: المناظرة، الجدل، المواعظ والأدب الديني. في ضوء هذه الإسهامات، يُأمل أن يعترف الباحثون المسلمون في مجال اللغة والأدب العربي بهذه الإنجازات التاريخية. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan kontribusi yang telah diberikan oleh mazhab teologis Islam mu’tazilah terhadap perkembangan sastra Arab pada masa dinasti Abbasiyah. Penelitian ini penting diungkapkan supaya generasi umat Islam hari ini tidak mengingkari dan terkesan menutup mata atas prestasi yang pernah diraih oleh para sastrawan Mu’tazilah era Abbasiyah, akibat dari perbedaan mazhab teologis. Permasalahan yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah apa saja bentuk kontribusi mazhab teologi Mu’tazilah terhadap perkembangan sastra Arab masa dinasti Abbasiyah. Alasan penelitian ini dibatasi pada masa dinasti Abbasiyah karena pada masa itu kaum Mu’tazilah pernah mendapatkan tempat yang istimewa di istana, bahkan pada masa khalifah al-Ma’mun, Mu’tazilah menjadi ideologi resmi kerajaan. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Sedangkan metode pengumpulan datanya dilakukan melalui penelitian perpustakaan. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori kritik sejarah karena objek kajiannya merupakan fakta-fakta historis masa lalu umat Islam di masa kejayaannya, Abbasiyah. Peneliti menemukan kesimpulan bahwa mazhab teologis Mu’tazilah pada masa dinasti Abbasiyah telah memberikan kontribusi yang nyata terhadap perkembangan sastra Arab. Kontribusi tersebut terlihat pada kemunculan tokoh-tokoh sastrawan dan kritikus sastra besar dan berpengaruh, di antaranya yang paling terkenal adalah al-Jahiz, Abu Hayyan al-Tauhidy dan al-Qadhi al-Jurjani. Selain itu, mereka juga turut menciptakan genre sastra baru, seperti: al-muna>d}arah, al-jadal, al-mawa>’id} dan al-adab al-di>ni. Atas kontribusi ini, diharapkan para generasi umat Islam yang bergelut dalam bidang ilmu bahasa dan sastra Arab untuk bisa mengapresiasi atas prestasi para sastrawan Mu'tazilah tersebut dan tidak berupaya untuk menguburkannya hanya karena perbedaan mazhab teologis.   Kata Kunci: Sastrawan Mu’tazilah, Dinasti Abbasiyah, dan Analisis Kritis Historis

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melacak gagasan awal kemunculan aliran realisme sosialis di dunia Arab. Melalui penelitian ini, peneliti membuktikan bahwa meskipun aliran realisme sosialis itu muncul di Eropa pada masa modern, namun sesungguhnya di kalangan sastrawan Arab sejak era jahiliah, gagasan atau ide yang sejalan dengan aliran realisme sosialis sudah ditemukan di kalangan para sastrawan yang bergabung dalam sebuah komunitas yang diberikan nama sebagai as-Sha’alik. Dengan demikian, melalui penelitian ini, peneliti menarik kesimpulan bahwa para sastrawan Arab sejak periode awal sudah menerapkan nilai-nilai realisme sosialis dalam kreatifitas sastranya, walaupun mereka saat itu belum menamakannya dengan istilah tertentu. Di antara bukti-bukti untuk mendukung kesimpulan tersebut adalah bahwa ide yang diusung dalam karya sastra bukan hanya untuk mengeksplorasi tentang perasaan ataupun ide si penulis secara personal, namun juga merepresentasi aspirasi kelompok masyarakat lemah yang termarjinalkan. Artinya, gagasan yang diusung oleh para sastrawan as-Sha’alik ini lebih cenderung pada respon mereka terhadap persoalan sosial kemasyarakatan, kritik terhadap orang-orang kaya yang kikir ataupun penguasa dan pembelaan terhadap kaum lemah yang tertindas. Penelitian ini tergolong ke dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif. Adapun metode pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan tehnik penelitian pustaka (library research) dengan cara pembacaan terhadap sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder, baik dalam bentuk buku ataupun jurnal, yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan penelitian. Sedangkan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah analisis kritis historis yang bertujuan untuk melacak akar realisme sosialis dalam tradisi sejarah sastra Arab era jahiliyah. Dengan demikian melalui penelitian ini, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa orientasi karya sastra yang cenderung pada pembelaan terhadap kaum yang lemah merupakan fakta sejarah yang tidak dapat dinafikan keberadaannya dalam tradisi sastra Arab di era jahiliyah, sehingga ketika terjadi persentuhan dua tradisi sastra, Arab dan Eropa, di era modern maka dengan mudah realisme sosialis bisa diserap sekaligus diterapkan oleh para sastrawan Arab era modern, bahkan era kontemporer.

Abstract

Abstract: The narcotics problem is a global problem faced by all countries in the world, including Indonesia, although in different contexts and complexities. In an international perspective, narcotics crimes are categorized as serious crimes. The same category also applies in the Indonesian context, which is assessed from the impact it causes and puts narcotics crimes on a par with other serious crimes such as crimes of terrorism and corruption. The research method used in this research is a normative legal research method. The data collection technique is library research, namely through searching scientific documents and books to obtain a theoretical basis in the form of positive legal material that is appropriate to the object to be studied. The aim of rehabilitation punishment for perpetrators of narcotics crimes is in the form of resolving criminal cases using a repressive approach as implemented in the Criminal Justice System, which has given rise to retributive justice, which is oriented towards retribution in the form of punishment and imprisonment. Keywords: Rehabilitation, Criminal Act, Narcotics Abstrak: Persoalan narkotika merupakan persoalan global yang dihadapi semua negara di dunia, termasuk Indonesia, meskipun dalam konteks dan kompleksitas yang berbeda-beda. Dalam perspektif internasional, kejahatan narkotika dikategorikan sebagai kejahatan serius. Kategori yang sama juga berlaku dalam konteks Indonesia yang dinilai dari dampak yang ditimbulkan dan membuat kejahatan narkotika disejajarkan dengan kejahatan serius lainnya seperti kejahatan terorisme dan korupsi. Teknik Pengumpulan data adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research), yaitu melalui penelusuran dokumen-dokumen maupun buku-buku ilmiah untuk mendapatkan landasan teoritis berupa bahan hukum positif yang sesuai dengan objek yang akan diteliti. Tujuan pemidanaan rehabilitasi terhadap pelaku tindak pidana narkotika adalah dalam bentuk penyelesaian perkara pidana dengan menggunakan pendekatan refresif sebagaimana dilaksanakan dalam Sistem Peradilan Pidana, telah melahirkan Keadilan Retrebutif (Retrebutif Justice), yang berorientasi pada  pembalasan berupa pemidanaan dan pemenjaraan. Kata kunci: Rehabilitasi, Tindak Pidana, Narkotika

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' cognitive ability and self-efficacy level through diagnostic assessment of business and energetic material in grade VIII SMP Negeri 4 Tambang. This research is a survey research with a quantitative approach. Data was collected by administering test instruments for cognitive diagnostic assessment questions on effort and energy material consisting of 20 multiple-choice question items and self-efficacy questionnaires consisting of 30 statement items. The collected result data is then analyzed using descriptive analysis. Descriptive analysis is used to obtain students' cognitive abilities and self-efficacy in science learning. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that students' cognitive abilities in the cognitive diagnostic assessment of students in class VIII business and energy material of SMP Negeri 4 Tambang were included in the good category with an average score of 51.80. Meanwhile, the results of the self-efficacy analysis of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Tambang are included in the high category with an average score of 3.32. For this reason, researchers recommend teachers conduct cognitive and non-cognitive diagnostic assessments periodically to determine the level of student abilities and various student conditions.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' cognitive learning outcomes by applying the scientific approach assisted by KIT hydrostatics and heat in heat material and to determine the differences in students' cognitive learning outcomes between learning using the scientific approach assisted by KIT hydrostatics and conventional learning in heat material at SMAN 4 Pekambaru. The research method used is quasi-experimental with data collection techniques in the form of a posttest. This research uses a sampling technique, namely simple random sampling. The sample in this study included class XI Engineering 1 as the experimental class and class XI Engineering 3 as the control class. The analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of research using descriptive analysis showed that the experimental class obtained an average cognitive learning outcome of 83.30 in the very high category, while the control class obtained an average cognitive learning outcome of 70.67 in the high category. The results of inferential analysis in hypothesis testing obtained a value of 0.000 with the condition p < 0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in student cognitive learning outcomes between classes that apply the scientific approach assisted by KIT hydrostatics and heat and classes that apply conventional learning on heat material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the internalizationimprovement of scientific attitude of Biology Education Student - PMIPAFKIP UR through the application of Inductive Teaching Methods in theBasic Physics Practical course. The approach used in this study was aClassroom Action Research (CAR) with cyclic pattern which consists ofplanning, implementation, observation and reflection. After two timeactions, the results of the assessment of the scientific attitude of the studentsincreased from 28.46% to 51.50% in cycle 1 and to 79.96% in cycle 2. Ingeneral, the indicator scientific attitude has been quite embedded in students.Assessment of student activity increased from 12.56% to 65.50% in cycle 1and to 78.06% in cycle 2. This result shows that the learning activity byapplying the Inductive Teaching Methods has been understood by thestudents. Assessment on student performance in the implementation of thelab also increased, from the average of 80.55% in cycle 1 to 81.87% in cycle2. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that through theapplication of inductive Teaching Methods in the Basic Physics Practicalcourse in Biology Education Study Program PMIPA FKIP UR canescalation the internalize scientific attitude of student.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the validity and practicality of gas kinetic theory learning devices oriented to 2013 physics curriculum. The place and time of the research was at the Laboratory of Physics Education FKIP University of Riau from June to November 2017. The object of this study was the developed learning devices based on the inquiry approach which includes experimental devices, Learning Plans and Worksheets. This type of research was four D models. Validation was carried out by 3 lecturers of Physics Education Study Program FKIP University of Riau and 2 SMA teachers from Pekanbaru. Limited trial was used to see the practical implementation in class XI IPA 3 of SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The results of the data analysis obtained that the validity of the gas kinetic theory experimental instrument has very valid category with a logical validation value of 3,47. The validity of the Learning Plan is 3.73 in the very valid category, the validity of the Worksheet is 3.5 whit the very valid category. The practicality of the developed device is 94.1% with a very practical category. The conclusions of the results show that the gas kinetic theory learning devices of High School Oriented Curriculum 2013 were developed valid and high in practicality so that they could be used in physics learning in class XI SMA.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Cooperative learning model type STAD assisted by baamboozle game to improve students’ cognitive learning outcomes. The type of research used is quasi-experimental using Posttest Only Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study were 254 students of class VIII SMP N 30 Padang. The samples of this study were students of class VIII H as the experimental class and students of class G as the control class. The data collection instrument used was the posttest of students’ cognitive learning outcomes in the subject of effort and energy. The results of the data obtained were processed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results showed that the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by baamboozle game was effective to improve students’ cognitive learning outcomes, as evidenced by the difference in students’ cognitive learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes.

Abstract

Utilization of renewable energy becomes a necessity in the future due to the fossil energy supply continues to decline. In Indonesia, the use of electricity from renewable sources is minimal. The utilization of solar energy in Indonesia is still limited to remote areas or islands. The main problem of electricity in Indonesia, especially in the city of Banda Aceh, is the frequent occurrence of power outages from the state power plant (PLN), especially during peak load time (WBP). Outside of that time, electricity supply exceeds demand. This study aims to utilize solar energy to reduce the electricity consumption of PLN during WBP. The system is designed to divert the power supply from PLN to the solar power plant (PLTS). The results of a survey of 10 A (current limit) customers are used as a reference to calculate PLTS capacity. During WBP, PLTS supplies to the load, beyond that time, PLN will supply the load. The system is designed to store maximum energy beyond the WBP period into the battery, the source of energy is mainly from the PLTS and alternatively from the PLN when the PLTS can not supply the maximum power. Based on battery energy, the system diverts the load supply from PLN when the battery energy is below the recharge limit. In the case of 10 A customers, with the energy requirement during WBP of 4.3 kWh, it requires 12 solar panels (160 Watt maximum power) arranged in parallel. Thus, the system needs three batteries with 150 Ah capacity also assembled in parallel. The implementation results prove that the PLTS can store solar energy to the battery properly, the system also successfully divert the PLTS source to the load at the time of WBP and transfer back to the PLN source when the battery energy is less than the recharge limit.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in student learning gains by implementing the TGT-type cooperative model through Kahoot media on mechanical wave material in class XI SMA N 2 Singingi. The research uses Quasi-Experimental Design type of research with a "post-test only control group design". The instrument used when collecting information was objective test questions on mechanical wave material for class XI high school. The test questions consist of 15 objective questions that refer to 5 cognitive domain indicators. Student learning outcome data is explained both descriptively and inferentially. The learning outcomes of students who applied the TGT model were in a good category, namely 72.8% for the experimental class and 65.9% in the quite good category for the conventional class. So it is concluded that the use of the TGT-type cooperative model assisted by the Kahoot application can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of students in class XI SMA N 2 Singingi.
