Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Cooperative learning model type STAD assisted by baamboozle game to improve students’ cognitive learning outcomes. The type of research used is quasi-experimental using Posttest Only Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study were 254 students of class VIII SMP N 30 Padang. The samples of this study were students of class VIII H as the experimental class and students of class G as the control class. The data collection instrument used was the posttest of students’ cognitive learning outcomes in the subject of effort and energy. The results of the data obtained were processed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results showed that the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by baamboozle game was effective to improve students’ cognitive learning outcomes, as evidenced by the difference in students’ cognitive learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes.

Abstract

A good understanding of concepts is needed to prevent students from misunderstanding. One effort that can be done is to apply the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model with the help of the Educandy educational game. This study aims to measure the effect of applying the POE learning model with the help of Educandy educational game application to increase students’ conceptual understanding of temperature and heat subjects. This study was quasi-experimental design research, using the nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was 128 junior high schools students of SMPN 25 Pekanbaru (Class VII.I-Class VII.4). The first class, VII.1, was used as the experimental class, the third class, VII.3, was used as the control class, while the other class was the generalization classes. Research instrument of pretest and post-test containing 28 questions was used. The result was processed by descriptive and interferential techniques using T-test. The data processing technique used was descriptive and inferential, using the t-test for N-gain as an evaluation method. The results of this study indicated that conceptual understanding in both classes had increased, but the average value of students’ conceptual understanding in the experimental class was higher than that in the control class. It was described on the data N-gain as 0.7 in the experiment and 0.3 in the control class. The results of the t-test show that the POE learning model assisted by educational games based on the Educandy application can significantly improve students’ understanding of concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of Google Classroom by schools as an online learning platform at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru carried out because researchers want to see learning activities carried out online during the Covid-19 pandemic. Schools need a suitable and controlled learning platform for learning activities, in this case MTs Darul Hikmah uses Google Classroom as its learning platform. The purpose of this study was to find out how to manage Google Classroom by schools along with the advantages and disadvantages of managing Google Classroom by schools at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The research was carried out descriptively through observation and interviews on July 13 to August 18 2020. The results of this study obtained that the steps for managing Google Classroom were starting from sending permission to Google, sending teachers and students into Google Classroom, creating topics, and carrying out learning activities. . Although the management of Google Classroom by this school, teachers can only upload materials during class hours and students need time to search for learning materials on certain topics, the management of Google Classroom by schools can make it easier for schools to control teaching and learning activities, teachers also no longer need to send evidence online class attendance and students also only need to enter one class.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan praktikalitas LKPD berbasis metode eksperimen pada materi getaran harmonik sederhana dalam pembelajaran fisika di SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengembangan bahan ajar seperti LKPD dengan pendekatan metode eksperimen agar memenuhi standar validitas dan praktikalitas, sehingga layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran fisika di SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. Model pengembangan dalam penelitian ini mengadopsi model pengembangan ADDIE yang dikemukakan oleh Branch, dengan tiga tahap yaitu Analysis, Design, and Development. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif yaitu dengan cara menghitung skor validitas setiap instrument perangkat LKPD kemudian dilakukan penarikan kesimpulan. Validasi dilakukan oleh 3 dosen ahli jurusan PMIPA sebagai validator, hasil validasi pada LKPD eksperimen bandul mendapatkan nilai sebesar 3,85, LKPD eksperimen pegas mendapatkan nilai 3,92 dan LKPD gaya pemulih mendapatkan nilai 3,89 dengan kategori valid. Sementara praktikalitas tersebut dilakukan oleh 3 guru dan 10 siswa di SMAN 4 Pekanbaru dengan hasil praktikalitas menurut guru pada setiap LKPD mendapatkan nilai masing-masing sebesar 3,87 dan hasil praktikalitas menurut siswa pada LKPD eksperimen bandul mendapatkan nilai sebesar 3,66, LKPD eksperimen pegas mendapatkan nilai 3,72, dan LKPD gaya pemulih mendapatkan nilai 3,67 dengan kategori praktis. Sehingga dapat dinyatakann bahwa LKPD berbasis metode eksperimen pada materi getaran harmonik sederhana valid dan praktis.

Abstract

Mu’tazilah adalah salah satu aliran dalam teologi Islam, yang menggunakan pemikiran rasional untuk menjelaskan masalah ketuhanan. Secara epistemologi pemikiran rasional Mu’tazilah terpengaruh oleh pemikiran filsafat. Mu’tazilah menggunakan metoda berfikir filsafat untuk memnjelaskan dan menetapkan  persolan Ketuhanan. Mu’tazilah berpandangan bahwa Tuhan telah memberikan kemerdekaan dan kebebasan  bagi manusia dalam menentukan kehendak dan perbuatannya, karena Tuhan tidak absolute dalam kehendak-Nya, dan Tuhan mempunyai kewajiban berlaku adil, berkewajiban menempati janji, berkewajiban memberi rizki. Dalam hubungannya dengan perbuatan manusia , kehendak mutlak Tuhan jadi terbatas karena kebebasan itu telah diberikan kepada manusia dalam menentukan kemauan dan kehendaknya. Menurut mu’tazilah posisi manusia  dalam tatanan alam semesta memiliki pandangan tersendiri. Manusia harus berhubngan dengan alam, dan tidak dapat menghindarkan diri dari ketentuan-ketentuan yang berlaku berdasarkan hukum alamiah. Jika dikaitkan dengan paham free will dan free act, sudah menjadi perdebatan panjang dikalangan teologi Islam.        Penelitan ini ingin menemukan pemikiran rasional mu’tazilah yang tentunya berkaitan erat dengan beberapa permasalahan, yakni hakikat pemikiran rasionalis mu’tazilah dan cara mengemukakan pendapatnya, serta pengaruhnya terhadap perkembangan pemikiran Islam  yang tercermin pada pemikiran tokoh-tokoh Islam di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penindasan Kolonialisme penjajahan terhadap rakyat Indonesia yang sangat memilukan disikapi Tan Malaka dengan mendidik dan mencerdaskan rakyat, serta menempatkan nasionalisme sebagai hal yang penting, untuk   perwujudan  kemerdekaan Indonesia.     Tan Malaka memiliki fikiran dan semangat yang tinggi, dan Ia berusaha merealisasikan pikirannya. Pandangan nasionalisme menyatukan kekuatan mayoritas Islam, yang tergabung dengan Sarekat Islam dan sosialis, untuk membentuk kekuatan revolusioner Tan Malaka menganggap kemerdekaan suatu nilai yang penting bagi Indonesia. Perkembangan suatu bangsa seiring dengan kemajuan illmu atau sains. Kalau Indonesia tidak merdeka, maka ilmu akan terbelenggu pula. Meskipun Indonesia terkaya di dunia, namum kalau sains dan teknologi tidak berkembang, maka ia akan menjadi budak sepanjangan sejarah, seperti yang dialami Indonesia selama 350 tahun.Tan Malaka menganggap kebersamaan mengandung nilai penting. Indonesia harus bekerja sama dengan semua negara di dunia untuk menciptakan masyarakat baru  berdasarkan kemerdekaan, kemakmuran dan persamaan sejati. Kemerdekaan merupakan kebebasan menentukan, mengolah, dan mengelola milik bangsa sendiri, dan bebas menjalankan kehidupan sendiri.bangsa Indonesia ini, Tan malaka memakai methode berfikir dialektika yang dilandasi logika dan ilmu pengetahuan.

Abstract

This research aims to depict Tan Malaka’s socio-political thought relaterd to the issues on human rights. This is qualitative research based on philosophical approcahes. It uses library research method to gather the data on Tan Malakas’s thought on the concept of individual and societal rights. The research argued that Tan Malakas has differ concept on individual and societal rights, individual rights are the rights of living as the free human being, and societal rights are the right of society to determine their faith and indepence without collonialization.  .

Abstract

This study aims to describe the socio-political thought of Tan Malaka related to human rights. This study is a qualitative research with a philosophical approach. This research data in the form of a data library that includes the concept of thinking about social and political life of Tan Malaka related to human rights of individuals and communities and the nation. The data is taken from the books as primary and secondary sources. The main data collection is done by reading, understanding and studying the books source. Data is analyzed by flow models adapted from Miles and Huberman (1984) by steps of data reduction, drawing conclusions, and verification until a final conclusion.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan higher order thinking skill peserta didik kelas X melalui penerapan model problem based learning. Desain yang digunakan yaitu quasi eksperimen: Posttest only control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 12 Pekanbaru  tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan sampel berjumlah 72 orang yang terdiri dari kelas X MIPA-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 36 orang dan kelas X MIPA-4 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 36 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes HOTS materi gerak melingkar yang terdiri dari 13 soal pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif melalui nilai rata-rata kemampuan higher order thinking skill siswa dan analisis inferensial melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan higher order thinking skill peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen (model problem based learning) lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol dan terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan higher order thinking skill peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model problem based learning dengan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Students' high thinking ability is an aspect that needs to be trained by educators. In fact, students' higher-order thinking skills are still relatively low because the learning model applied in schools does not train students' higher-order thinking skills because they are still focused on the teacher. Therefore, researchers conducted research by applying a student-focused learning model, namely the guided inquiry learning model. This study aims to determine the increase and differences in higher order thinking skills between classes that apply the guided inquiry learning model and classes that apply conventional learning. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental non-equivalent posttest control group design. The data collection instrument was a post-test with 13 multiple choice questions. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the high-order thinking skills of X MIPA 5 students were better than X MIPA 6. This was reflected in Class X MIPA 5. The average score of students' higher-order thinking skills was 60.26 and that of the control class was 49.15. The results of the inferential analysis show that the significance value of the independent sample t-test is 0.0004, which means it is less than 0.05. Therefore, from the results of the two analyzes it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the results of the high-order thinking ability test for students in class X MIPA 5 and class X MIPA 6 and X MIPA 5 getting better results after learning by applying the guided inquiry learning model to parabolic motion material.
