Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research is the application of Firingline strategy to increase student interest in class VIII B on the material to understand the text in SMP Islam Tazkiyah news Pontianak. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) has been conducted in two cycles. Descriptive and qualitative terms. The research was conducted in SMP Islam Tazkiyah Pontianak, the research subjects are subjects Indonesian teachers and students of class VIII B is 31 students consisting of 22 women and 9 men. classroom action research procedure there are four steps: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data in this study were obtained using a questionnaire. Data collection tools in this study is in the form of tools such as cameras, observation sheets and documentation on the results of the learning process using a strategy of ongoing Firingline. Results obtained from these studies that the planning is already well underway, because teachers use lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines.Keywords: Strategy Firingline, Interest in Learning,

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meraih tingkat pemahaman yang tinggi dengan harapan dapat mengingatnya dalam waktu yang relatif lama, serta dapat mengembangkan keterampilan dalam membaca dengan detail. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan bentuk kualitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, teknik tes/evaluasi, dan teknik dokumentasi. Data yang dianalisis berupa data penelitian yang terkumpul dari hasil observasi dan perekaman. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa komponen Perencanaan Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang dibuat guru memiliki 2 (dua) kesalahan dari 12 (dua belas) kriteria RPP. Pada kegiatan inti, guru mencantumkan tiga hal penting dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang menggunakan KTSP yaitu Eksplorasi, Elaborasi, dan Konfirmasi (EEK). Kegiatan inti pada pertemuan pertama berbeda dengan kegiatan inti pertemuan kedua. Perbedaan terletak pada pemberian tugas yang akan dikerjakan oleh siswa yaitu pertemuan pertama pemberian tugas dengan cara berdiskusi, sedangkan pertemuan kedua pemberian tugas secara individu.   Kata kunci: menemukan bahan diskusi, membaca intensif.   Abstract: The purpose of this study to achieve a high level of understanding with the hope to remember them in a relatively long time, and can develop skills in reading in detail. The method used is descriptive and qualitative terms. This research data collection using observation, engineering test / evaluation, and technical documentation. Data were analyzed in the form of research data collected from the observation and recording. Based on the analysis of data it can be concluded that the components of Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) made the teacher has two (2) errors of 12 (twelve) criteria RPP. At its core activities, the teacher lists the three important things in learning activities that use SBC namely exploration, elaboration, and Confirmation (EEK). Core activities at the first meeting is different from the second meeting of its core activities. The difference lies in the provision of the task to be done by the students is the first meeting of assignment by way of discussion, while the second meeting of the administration task individually.   Keywords: find the discussion, intensive reading.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to describe study implementation of Jepin Langkah Simpang dance with drill method to improve students skills in class X SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak. Researcher used descriptive method in this study. The result of the analysis about study implementation of Jepin Langkah Simpang dance with drill method is that using drill method can enhance students skills and can make students better than of learning process in from skills, especially in the field of dance. Techniques of data collection are observation, interview, documention, and performance test. The technique of data validaty testing triangulation technique. Data analysis technique in this research are analyzed and interpret actifity, actifity process, result of actifity, doing a discussion with supervisor and conclude the result of analysis about study implementation of Jepin Langkah Simpang dance with drill method to improve students skills in class X SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak.The result of this research are expected to be implemented in a cultural art lesson on Senior High School X grade first semester and it can be refrences for further analysis about implementation learning.Keywords: drill method, implementation, Jepin Langkah Simpang dance, study

Abstract

AbstractThis research is based on the low skills of students in reading. The low level of students 'skills in reading is caused by a lack of interest in students' learning in reading and lack of concentration in reading. This study focused on reading biographical material using the Cooperative Talking Stick model. The formulation of the problem in this study is how planning, implementation, and results of intensive reading learning using the Cooperative Talking Stick model. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, and learning outcomes of reading biographical texts using the Cooperative Talking Stick model. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The forms of qualitative and quantitative research, and the design is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The instruments used were assignment of questions reading biographical texts, teacher assessment sheets, and observation sheets of students' attitudes and activities. Research data is processed qualitatively and quantitatively. This research was carried out 2 cycles 1 cycle 1 meeting. After getting action in the first cycle the percentage of completeness became 73.33%. An increase in cycle II was 92.59%. Thus, learning to read biographical texts using the Cooperative Talking Stick model in students of class X of Social Sciences 3 Tekarang State 1 High School has increased. Cooperative Talking Stick learning model is in accordance with the characteristics of high school students, therefore it is better to use Cooperative Talking Stick learning models for learning. Keywords: Reading Biographical Text, Cooperative Talking Stick

Abstract

AbstractThis research is reviewed by the low level of awareness that there will be knowledge of literary works in a novel that can be used as reference material for implementation plan, literary learning in school, can also be the implementation plan of the spreading (RPP). The results of this study is useful for researchers to increase knowledge in analyzing the works and can be used as learning materials. The theory in this case is called the novel, the plot and also the conflict that has occurred in a literary work. This research uses descriptive method, descriptive form, and using structural approach. The source of this dating data is the novel Ayat ? ayat Cinta 2 works of Habuburrahman El Shirazy. The data in this research is the introduction of the situation secita, the peak of conflict, completion, and comment study. Data processing tool in research is technique used as planner, executor, interpreter, and reporter of result data. Abstract

 AbstractThis research background is motivated by the desire to find a character from the novel title Dian yang Tak Berkunjung Padam by Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana. The general problem in this research is "How does the main character in Dian yang Tak Kunjung Padam novel by Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana?. The general problem is limited by two sub-problems, that are personality and emotion of main character in the Dian yang Tak Berkunjung Padam novel by Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana. The purpose of this study is to describe two sub-problems, while this research is useful for researchers to increase knowledge and insight in analyzing the literary works, this research also can be used by teachers and students as a media of learning as well as materials for comparison. This theory used in this study relates to novels, characters, personality and emotions. This research uses descriptive method, qualitative resecrh form, and using behavioristic psychology approach. The source of research data is Dian yang Tak Kunjung Padam novel by Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana. The data collecting of this research is documentary study technique. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui struktur dan makna pada cerita rakyat Pulau Belumbak. penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripstif, bentuk penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan struktural dan sosiologi sastra. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu pertama: cerita Pulau Belumbak adalah alur maju. Kedua: tokoh utama yaitu Amat Selamat dan Amat Berkat; sedangkan tokoh tambahan yaitu Mak Rindah. Ketiga: penokohan, Amat Selamat dan Amat Berkat memiliki watak yang sama yaitu sombong dan rajin bekerja. Sedangkan Mak Rindah memiliki watak penyayang, bekerja keras, dan penyabar. Keempat, latar cerita ini terbagi tiga yaitu latar tempat, latar waktu, latar sosial. Kelima, makna cerita terbagi tiga yaitu makna keagamaan meliputi berdoa dan pemujaan, makna kemasyarakatan meliputi tolong menolong dan kepedulian dan makna kepribadian meliputi berpengharapan, kerja keras, pantang menyerah, kegelisahan, dan kesedihan. Cerita rakyat Pulau Belumbak ini menggunakan KTSP. SKyang digunakan yaitu memahami sastra Melayu Klasik, dengan KD mengidentifikasi karakteristik dan unsur intrinsik sastra Melayu klasik. Kata kunci: Struktur, Makna, Cerita Rakyat Abstrack: This study aims to determine the structure and meaning of the folklore of the Pulau Belumbak. the theory used in this research is the method deskriptif, a form of qualitative research, with using a structural approach and sociology of literature. Results of this study is the first, the strory is the plot forward Pulau Belumbak. socond, the main character is Amat Selamat and Amat Berkat. While the additional figure that Mak Rindah. Third, characterizations, Amat Selamat and Amat Berkat has the same character that is arrogant and diligent work. While Mak Rindah temperament compassionate. Fourth, the background of the story is divided into  three, a background, the background of the time, and social background. Fifth, the meaning of the story is divided into three, bamely religious meaning incluse prayer and worship. Societl meaning include helping and caring, and the meaning of personality include hopelessness, work hard, unyielding, anxiety and sadness. Pulau Belumbak’s folklore using KTSP. SK used is to understand the Malay literrary classic, with KD identifying characteristics and intrinsic elements of classical Malay literatur. Keywords: Structure, meaning, Folklore

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, materi yang diajarkan, media yang digunakan, penilaian hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran memahami unsur intrinsik novel remaja pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 15 Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, berbentuk kualitatif.Data dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran memahami unsur intrinsik novel remaja padal kelas VIII SMP Negeri 15 Pontianak.Sumber data adalah guru dan siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi langsung dan teknik tes.Alat pengumpul data adalah pedoman observasi, tes tertulis.Hasil penelitian pelaksanaan pembelajaran memahami unsur intrinsik telah dilaksanakan dengan baik oleh guru, materi yang diajarkan sudah meliputi semua unsur intrinsik novel, namun materi sudut pandang tidak diajarkan secara utuh, media yang digunakan oleh guru adalah papan tulis, namun penggunaan papan tulis belum mampu menarik minat siswa secara penuh, penilaian yang dilakukan oleh guru hanya mencakup penilaian kognitif dan psikomotor, seharusnya guru juga menilai sikap siswa.   Kata Kunci: pembelajaran, unsur intrinsik, novel remaja   Abstract:The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the study, the material taught, media used, assessment of student learning outcomes in learning to understand the intrinsic elements of the novel on a grade VIII SMP 15 Pontianak region. This research uses descriptive methods, are qualitative. The data in this study are learning to understand the intrinsic elements of the novel at class VIII SMP 15 Pontianak region. The data source is the teacher and the students. Engineering data collection using direct observation techniques and engineering tests. Data collecting tool was written tests, observation guidelines. The results of the research implementation of learning to understand the intrinsic elements have been well do by the teacher, the material being taught already includes all intrinsic elements of the novel, but point of view material has not been teach by the teacher fully, the medium used by teachers is the Board, but the Board has not been able to interest students in full, the assessment conducted by the teacher only includes cognitive and psychomotor assessment, teachers should also measure the student's attitude learning. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa terutama menulis teks cerita ulang biografi yang dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya aktivitas siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar, rendahnya hasil keterampilan menulis siswa terutama menulis teks cerita ulang biografi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus mencakup beberapa kegiatan, yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas XI Pemasaran 2 SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kemampuan siswa menulis teks cerita ulang biografi menggunakan metodeJigsaw IIyang dilihat dari nilai tes dan proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil tindakan yang dilaksanakan pada penelitian tindakan kelas ini, menghasilkan simpulan bahwa pembelajaran menulis teks cerita ulang biografi menggunakan metodeJigsaw II dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks cerita ulang biografi siswa kelas XI Pemasaran 2 SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis teks cerita ulang biografi sebelum menggunakan metode Jigsaw II adalah 67, setelah dilaksanakan tindakan pada siklus 1, nilai rata-rata keterampilan  menulis teks cerita ulang biografi siswa meningkat menjadi 74,8. Dan setelah dilaksanakan tindakan perbaikan pada siklus 2 nilai rata-rata menulis teks cerita ulang biografi siswa meningkat menjadi 81,6. Each cycle includes several activities, i.e.planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Sources of data in this study are students and teacher of Indonesian language of the eleventh grade students of marketing major 2 SMKN 3 Pontianak in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The data in this study were in the form of student's ability to write biographical recounted story texts using cooperative learning method ofjigsaw II which was assessed from the test score and the learning process.The conclusion of this research is that the instruction of writing biographical recounted story texts using cooperative learning method of jigsaw II can improve the ability to write biographical recounted story textsamongthe eleventh grade students of Marketing Major 2 SMKN 3 Pontianak in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The average score of the ability to write biographical recounted story textsbefore using the learning method ofjigsaw II was 67, after treatment was given in the first cycle, the average score increased to 74.8. And after the application of treatment in the second cycle, the average score of students? ability to write biographical recounted story texts increased to 81.6. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara jelas tentang nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel Mimpi Anak Pulau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif artinya data yang diperoleh, dianalisis, dan diuraikan menggunakan kata-kata ataupun kalimat bukan dalam bentuk angka-angka atau menggunakan perhitungan. Hasil analisis data menghasilkan simpulan bahwa konsep pendidikan karakter dalam novel Mimpi Anak Pulau mencakup beberapa nilai yaitu: nilai jujur (jujur dalam menjawab pertanyaan, jujur kepada diri sendiri dan Tuhan, jujur kepada diri sendiri dan orang tua, jujur mengakui kekurangan, jujur dalam berpendapat, dan jujur mengakui kesalahan). Nilai tanggung jawab (tanggung jawab terhadap keluarga, tanggung jawab terhadap Tuhan, dan tanggung jawab kepada pekerjaan). Nilai cerdas (cerdas dalam menghitung, cerdas dalam menjawab pertanyaan, cerdas dalam berpendapat, dan cerdas mempunyai ide). Nilai peduli (peduli sosial). Kata kunci: Nilai, Pendidikan, Karakter, Novel     Abstract: This study aims to know clearly about the values of character education in the novel Island Dream Child. The method used is descriptive method means that the data obtained, analyzed, and described using words or phrases not in the form of numbers or use calculations. Results of the data analysis resulted in the conclusion that the concept of character education in the novel Dream Child Island includes several values which are: the value of honest (honest in answering questions, be honest to yourself and God, honest to themselves and parents, honestly admit shortcomings, honest opinion, and honestly admit mistakes). The value of responsibility (family responsibilities, responsibilities towards God, and responsibility to the job). Value intelligent (smart in calculating, smart in answering questions, intelligent in thought, and intelligent have an idea). The value of care (social care).
